Chapter -2

I was walking down the stairs to get to my room, then only I felt like someone was following me, coming close to me and I turned around just to see, some leaves on the ground forming a hazy structure of a dragon and I felt someone’s present around me, scaring me but I am a princess and I am not supposed to be scared, if I will be scared then who will handle my people. Who will be responsible for their security and guard. As I turned around, I saw no one in particular but a small child hiding behind the doors, closing his eyes, thinking that he will disappear from here if he would close his eyes. We all thinks the same at that age but that never happens, does it?

I moved towards the little boy, bend in front of him and hold his hand, so I can see his face, as he saw me, he curtsied— a little bending with his small body, but a beautiful one. His eyes were green, he looked at me and asked me to close my eyes with his hands, May be he can’t talk, I did as he asked me to. As I closed my eyes, I felt something in my hand, I opened my lids to see a pendent and a letter in my hand and the boy nowhere to be seen.

I held the letter tight in my hands and ran to my room, as I reached I closed the door and opened the letter, it says
“Pleasantries royalty,
We dragons have come to know about the little war planning you are doing. I must say that you are planning the attack quite well, I —inferno lucaris —the king of dragons, hereby asking you to back away, we don’t want any blood shed, we are happy in our realm, you be happy in yours. Have a wonderful day.
”
One more paper fell down the envelope, I bend to pick it up and it was written in italic bold writing with a beautiful sign at the end, the signature of the king— inferno lucaris.

“Pleasantry Princess Nandini Angelia Davis,
The beautiful princess —the wisest in all.
I am thankful to you for the support you and your family, kind king Adrian Carter Davis and the angelic queen Ariale Castera Davis, and last but not the least the notorious prince Adel Conner Davis. Thank you for the support. But I haven’t wrote this letter to thank you for your support but it’s to request you to read the message that I have sent for all human kings and queens. Please make them see sense, we can kill the humans by the click of our hands but we don’t want destruction.

With a sign at last, the dragon king has ended the letter.

I went out of the room to do what I was asked for But the result was not what I expected, some kings got aggressive as I read the given letter, the information that they know about the war plan angered our king Silas and he looked at me with pure hatred. He came towards me and was about to raise his hands when my father came in front of him with the angelic man. He looked cold hearted— totally different from the man I got attracted— charmed just some while ago. He looked at king Silas with the cold look that can make you want to cower back like a coward.

Silas looked at him and we all could see the man somewhere feeling scared but won’t show it, man’s ego is more than an ocean.

He then looked at me and said “princess of Adriana, I would like to ask whether it is some joke and if it is not then please enlighten us how you have got the message and why would the dragon king would give such offending message to you? Why would he trust you with something like this? Are you in some kind of… pact with the dragon king.?”

He gave a pause while trying to describe my relation with the dragon king when I have none, I got angered and my father looked angry too, why won’t he be, he should be. I then looked at my father  and said “father, I got this message when I was walking down to my room when I told you I was not feeling well, I was about to reach the room when I saw a child, I went behind him…” I told him about everything how I met the child, how he gave me this letter, how everything happened.

My father nodded at me and looked at the king with cold look, no warm feeling that his face had when he looked at me, he then coughed and said “human king Silas, you have insulted my daughter without any proof, it would be better if you apologize to her."

King Silas looked angry and glared at my father when king of swaidas too stood and said "I guess king Adrian is right, King Silas with all due respect, I would too like you to apologize to princess as you have insulted her character. I guess other kings too would say the same"

All kings nodded at king of swaidas word, they all looked at king Silas and requested him to apologize which he finally did "princess nandini Angelia Davis, I king of human apologize to you for their offended words I spoke, I spoke all that in anger, my fury took over me, I am apologetic og my act, forgive me." no word of king Silas looked sincere, it definitely sounded sincere but it was not, his eyes held the fury that is totally unexplainable.

I and my father knew no words of his were sincere but we can't reject his apology in front of others, as I nodded, every other king smiled and my father told me to go back to my room, I bowed to others and left.
As I reached my room locking the door, I heard a knock. The door knob opened without me opening and there entered the same angelic man and pulled me close, I struggled a bit and then darkness swept me off my feet and caressed me to abandonment.
