Chapter 3

The rest of the day I spent going into different rooms trying different powers and pleasing the Elders with my performance. I have to admit this elements changing was really fun. I personally enjoyed being a wind dragon best. I had never felt so free.  I saw Sprocket come over with a sack. "Hagon. This is filled with the gems you used today." He said handing me the sack.
"Thanks." I happily said taking the sack.
"Be careful." He said.
"We are proud of you for coming this far." Storm, the wind Elder said.
"Stay strong Hagon." Shake, the earth elder said.
"If you need any help come immediately back to us." Sprocket informed.
"Thanks to all of you for everything." I thanked. I ran to the other part of town I was originally forbidden to go to. I looked at all the dragons flying by. They were all different elements, sizes and genders. I wasn't looking and I bumped in a dragon. He ran away crying.
"Great. Not a single minute in this place and I already hurt someone's feelings." I thought. I chased after him. We ran down a path. One thing I noticed was that this dragons was slow. He also looked extremely wobbly and tripped multiple times. This was odd seeing how he was a wind dragon. He had a helmet that had goggles on it. His wings also looked way to big for his size. He was a bit smaller than me but we were roughly the same size. Then we ran to a bridge. Halfway across he stopped and looked at me.
"Stop following me. I'm to worthless to be your target anyways." he told me. "Relax. I'm only trying to help." I responded.
"By stalking me?" He said.
"No. I want to know what's wrong." I told him. He just broke into more tears. "I was bullied and attacked by a show off at the Elite Stunt training school." He showed me a nasty wound he had under his left eye.
"Well I'm the right dragon to ask. I was sent by the Elder..."
"The Elders?!" He interrupted with a shocked expression. That's when I realized I shouldn't had given information like that to a stranger. But it was too late. At least he snapped out of it.
"That's so cool! You must be a famous hero!" He cheered.
"I'm was only out for two min..."
"I'm glad I met you...uhhh...what's your name again?" He interrupted again. "It's Hagon." I said.
"Sweet. My name is Gust!" He responded.
"Nice to meet you Gust." I said to him. "Nice to meet you Hagon the dragon. Hey, that rhymes!" Gust said excitingly. "I guess it dose." I replied.
"Anyways, will you help me get on the stunt team without the bully interrupting?" Gust asked.
"Sure I can." I replied. We walked over to the Stunt yard. That's when I noticed Gust was still wobbling and tripping a lot.
"Are you ok?!" I asked when Gust tripped a third time.
"Yea. I think you should know something Hagon." He replied.
"What do you need?" I asked.
"It's about my oversized wings." Gust answered.
"What about them?" I asked Suddenly remembering his oversized wings.
"It was how I was born. I came out of my egg with with a issue. My strength always heads towards my wings. No matter the exercise. Running, swiping or picking things up. I can't get my arms, legs or tail to gain muscle. My wings however have granted me perfect flight and I can fly longer than most dragons I've seen. That's where my true strength is." Gust explained.
"Oh wow. I didn't know." I said in a worried tone."
"It's ok Hagon. Most dragons don't realize this until they see me move." Gust responded. To make Gust feel better we flew over to our destination. The yard was filled with dragons mainly wind ones. A metal one came up to us. He had orange scales witch looked odd. He looked like Gust having the same helmet. He oddly enough looked to resemble a dragonfly by having similar wings.
"Hey Haywire!" Gust shouted.
"Hey Gust. Who's this?" Haywire asked.
"That's Hagon. He came to help with my stunts. He also came from..."
"I'm his assistant." I said interrupting Gust.
"That's good. I am Gust's stunt partner Haywire." Haywire responded. Suddenly a purple dragon came out of nowhere and shoved Gust into a fence. "Look who decided to show up." She said mockingly.
"The tripping weakling." Another dragon added. These must have been Gust's bullies. The leader came up to me.
"Who are you supposed to be? His newfound brother?" She said continuing to mock and insult me. Me and Haywire had enough.
"You aren't as strong as you boast Hurricane!" Haywire said as he ran towards the cliff nearby.
"Oh shut up Gust's suck up." Hurricane said running towards Haywire. Her group of bullies followed. I helped Gust up.
"I need to save my friend." Gust said flying their direction. Before I followed I grabbed a purple gem from my sack that I forgot I had. I saw my scales turn purple like the rest of the wind dragons. I followed them in the sky.
