"Are you serious? We have to go NOW! Nebula could leave at any moment." Darka yelled. "Hey! Zephyr is part of our team. And teammates never leave each other behind." I said looking directly at Darka.
"Maybe we could spit up?" Icefire suggested. "Again?" Darka responded.
"Darka. Do you know what it means to be a leader?" I asked.
"Of course I do! You lead your army to battle!" Darka yelled.
"Not exactly. It's about caring for your teammates as well. Making sure they are alright. We need to get Zephyr before we continue." I responded. Darka sighed.
"I guess that sounds right. Alright. Let's go then." Darka responded. All of us ran to Tesla's lab. As we were running, Darka was looking more and more impatient. But we needed Zephyr. We eventually reached the lab. Tesla saw the guards. Because of the ruckus that just accrued and the fact we had Darka, it would be scuisideal to try to fight them. After Tesla looked around a bit, he looked at me.
"I know a secret entrance to my lab. It's for me to use whenever there is a attack and I want to go to my lab for research." Tesla explained. "Sounds good." I responded nodding.
"I'm thinking there's a catch." Firefly said suspiciously.
"The catch is I kinda electrified the tunnel and if you aren't electric, you'll be shocked to death." Tesla answered.
"Come on!" Typhoon yelled.
"Is there a way to turn it off? Icefire asked. "Nope. Sorry." Tesla said shaking his head. "Well that's just great!" Typhoon yelled. I grabbed my yellow gem and turning into a electric dragon.
"Well. Let's get a move on then. There's no time to waste." I said. Thunderstruck followed along with Tesla. Tesla lead us to the secret entrance. It was a hole that was extremely small.
"How do you fit in that thing?" I asked. Tesla pulled the hole up to reveal a even bigger one. "That's how." He said going in.
"This way." I said instructing Thunderstruck. He followed me and we both went in the hole. When we were in, it was exactly like Tesla told us. All sorts of electrical walls. I wasn't even sure how Tesla got them to be like this. The only idea I had was he somehow got a magic dragon to make this. But magic dragons were very rare. By rare, there was only one in existence. Spellcaster. He was said to be the first dragon to ever be born. He was the one who created the elements most dragons had to this day. He was also the oldest living dragon at about 12,000 years old. Dragons generally live up to 10,000 years according to Spellcaster so him still being alive was incredible. However, it came at a price. He was very delicate and as such never fights. He to this day has never left the elemental cave. He however did host a yearly festival where once a year he would host a day where every dragon who visited was granted a wish. I'm guessing this tunnel of electricity was a wish of Tesla's. Speaking of. Tesla was waiting for us.
"Just keep going straight and don't stop." Tesla commanded.
"Okay." I responded. I kept checking on Thunderstruck who was also trying to follow. We eventually reached the end.
"I'll open the hole. You have to make sure not to make any noise." Tesla told us as he was opening the hole. I nodded and followed him. We eventually reached the inside and we were in Tesla's lab. I could tell that Tesla was really not in the mood to break into his own lab. Me and Tesla exited the room.
"Where is Thunderstruck?" I asked. We both looked and saw him reading one of Tesla's scrolls.
"No! Don't touch that!" He screamed snatching the scroll.
"That is confidential information." He muttered.
"Do you have any idea where Zephyr is?" I asked.
"Well, I heard him mention them trying to find a bat." Tesla responded.
"Them? Oh yeah. He's probably with Susurrus trying to find her mother." I said.
"Any where we can find bats?" I asked.
"There's the lab." Tesla said.
"Where is it?" I asked.
"You ask too many questions. It's over there." Tesla said pointing to a room on our right. We both ran over. I saw Thunderstruck was following us, but I think he ran into another room at the last second. When we entered, we saw Susurrus in tears and Zephyr trying to comfort her. Both were looking at a cage that held a bat.
"Mmmmomy." Susurrus cried.
"It's okay. The handsome, amazing Zephyr can make things better." Zephyr tried ensuring.
"So the experiment did work." Tesla said looking at the bat.
"What experiment?" I asked.
"Well, we were experimenting about making hybrids with other animals. And some of my crew decided to take it too far and try to make full animals out of dragons. It's a painful process and I banned it. But some dragons wanted to take it too far. And I'm guessing her mother was affected." Tesla explained. I was mad at these dragons for being so cruel but before I could speak, alarm went off. More of Tesla's scientists charged in.
"Traitor! First you join with Darka and now you bring outsiders to our private lab?!" One of them asked.
"You deserve death you fool!" Another yelled. I hated that Tesla was doing experiments. But I couldn't see him die either. He did try to stop the process from going to far. I decided to help him. I saw Thunderstruck zap one of the dragons from another room. Susurrus was looking extremely mad at Tesla. I'm knew it was because of the fact he was involved with experimenting on her mother. I knew it wasn't Tesla's fault though. Suddenly, more dragons entered. My team! Gust flew to me.
"Hagon! Go to Nebula! They have a full Army outside! I'll lead everyone for you!" Gust yelled. "Sigh. Can you do it?" I asked.
"Yes I can! Just go!" Gust commanded. "Alright. I believe in you best friend." I said running in the hidden tunnel. When I entered, I immediately thought one thing.
"Watch out Nebula. I'm coming for you."
