I quickly woke up to find Lord Geminate laying on the ground. He looked as he did when we met him.
"Where am I?" Lord Geminate asked himself. I looked at my team. They all looked tired and weak.
"Who are you?" Lord Geminate asked looking straight at me.
"Why would I tell you when you just tried killing us." I responded.
"Killing you? I don't even know you. Last I remember I fell into a pit of crystals and Crystal didn't even bother saving me." Lord Geminate responded.
"Crystal didn't leave you to die on purpose. She said she feels guilty ever since." I said.
"Wait. You look like an outsider. How did you talk to her?!" Lord Geminate asked. He then got up and looked at the rest of us. He immediately spotted Crystal.
"Crystal!" He said running to her. Zephyr stood in a guarding pose.
"You can't fool me. You just attempted to hurt me and my friends." Crystal responded.
"I'm sorry I attacked you. I felt like I was possessed by the thought of you betraying me. I should've known better. I know you better than any dragon ever. I just want to be with you again Crystal." Lord Geminate said.
"Do you truly mean it?" Crystal asked.
"Yes. I do." Lord Geminate responded.
"Oh Geminate my love. Your back! You somehow are really back!" Crystal screamed hugging Geminate.
"Thanks. I don't know how I came back but I'll always be with you." Geminate responded. "Thanks but I have courage now. I want to join Hagon's group. I think my true destiny lies in his team." Crystal said.
"You can join if you want." Crystal added. "Thanks but I have a reputation to fix." Geminate declined.
"I guess this means goodbye." Crystal said sadly.
"Don't worry. We will meet sometime soon." Geminate responded. They nuzzled each other. I saw Zephyr frown.
"Goodbye Crystal." Geminate said flying off into the darkness.
"Goodbye!" Crystal cried. I'm not one who knows love but I did feel sad that Crystal finally got to meet with her one true friend only to have to leave him. All of us except for Typhoon cried. We waited in an hour of silence waiting for our energy to come back to us. I got out a red gem and turned to a fire dragon. I shot a fireball creating a campfire.
"Since we are all here let's tell our backstories!" Gust said.
"Well, you all know mine." Crystal responded. "Let me go!" Firefly asked. I actually kinda forgot he was with us.
"Go ahead." I responded.
"Alright. I was always the runt of the littler. This lead me wanting to be strong in spite of my size. So I trained under three fire dragon trainers. I passed but I still wasn't strong enough so a fire dragon named Forge and his older brother Radiant built me a weapon that could let me fight even with my underwhelming size. That's pretty much it." Firefly said.
"Interesting." Zephyr responded.
"And your weapons are fireballs that can be thrown to extend their range? Devastating." Typhoon observed. We continued to share are backstories. I took out the map and looked at it. We were on the path that would leaders to a forest and soon to one of the villages Excalibur's dragons lived at.
"Do you know how to get out of the cave?" I asked Crystal.
"Yes. Follow me." She replied. We followed her down more stairs. Thanks to Firefly I no longer had to provide the light. I suddenly remembered we had no idea where Darka was. I told this to my team and we all decided to talk to Excalibur's army about his location. We reached the exit only to see what looked like another dragon run off. We followed it outside. Next thing I know we were all caught in cages. It was a trap. I saw Gust. He was the only one of us not in a cage. I saw a bush shake. A nature dragon jumped out. He had something I never thought a dragon could use. A bow and arrow.
"Dang it another dragon! I thought dragons were supposed to be the strongest animals ever and yet they always fall for my human made traps." He said. He was ticked to see us. He aimed a arrow at Gust.
"Look out!" I warned. It was to late. The arrow hit Gust. What struck me odd was no blood came out and Gust only went to sleep.
"Why did you hurt my friend?!" I yelled.
"Shut up. If my boss hears a dragon caught in my trap, he will kill me." He replied.
"What boss? We will shout as loud as I freaking want!" Typhoon yelled.
"Excalibur is going to freaking kill me." The unknown dragon panicked.
