Chapter 1
I woke up to see that today was going to be a great day. It was sunny and not a single cloud was in the sky. I looked around my room in the cave. It was nothing special in particular. I had no element after all. It was only lit by torches. I walked outside. I was in the yard of the Elder Dragons. One of the Elders greeted me as I walked towards the training area. It was Shock. He was the first and strongest Electric Dragon. "Are you excited today?" Shock asked. "A bit." I responded.
"That's it?" Shock asked in a shocked manner.
"Should I be more excited?" I asked.
"I can't believe you forgot!" He said surprised.
"What did I forget?" I asked feeling worried.
"Splash! Please tell Hagon what today is. I have to check to see if Shine touched my lucky stick again!" He said leaving. Splash was the Water Elder and often was seen in the our pool. He only got out of it when there was a meeting. He was out so this HAD to be important. Splash came he looked like he always did when he wasn't in the pool. Wet.
"It's your final test today Hagon!" Splash said looking a tad bit annoyed. I could tell he wanted to go back and swim at the pool.
"Wait. What?!" I said panicked. I forgot. Today was my final test to see if I could learn all the elements. I ran towards the meeting cave. The rest of the Elders except for Splash, Shine and Shock were there.
"Good afternoon Hagon." Shard, the Ice Elder said.
"Sorry if I'm late." I said feeling worried.
"It's fine." Scorch, the Fire Elder said. "At least it wasn't nighttime." Shade, the Dark Elder said. I could tell by his tone he wanted it to be nighttime. He was a Dark Dragon after all.
"Well then. Show we start now?" The Metal Elder, Sprocket asked.
"We should." I said running to the elemental cave. It was oddly enough green inside.
"Elders first!" Sprocket said running in the cave. The others followed him.
For some reason Season, The Nature Elder stayed.
"I will guide you to the first room. I always liked his voice. Despite his old age and appearance he sounded so relaxing. I followed Season in the cave. It was filled with plants and tree roots on the wall. The floors were all moss. In the middle of the room was a green gem and another Nature dragon.
"You must fight my champion, Grasshopper." Season said as he blocked the entrance. I looked at Grasshopper. He looked my age. He waited.
"Hagon." Season said.
"What?" I asked.
"We granted you the power of the elements. To change elements simply grab one and you'll change to its color." Season responded. I grabbed it only to see my scales turn a darker green than my already green body. I tried shooting out flames only to shoot out leaves. I was a nature dragon!
