** scene/expressions/POV changes

*1st pov, in a bus*

We see a young boy in a bus, while watching through a window and wearing a school uniform.

This boy is y/n l/n, and this boy is going to a very unique school.

Y/n: 'I wonder how this school will be like, I just hope it won't be boring. Otherwise, I'll be having one heck of a talk with pops'.

*minor flashback*

Dad: Hey son, I got some good news! Thanks to a friend of mine, I got you enrolled into a good highschool, Yokai Academy.

Mom: This is great son! Now we won't have to send you to a horrible highschool and make sure to find a good girl for yourself. I want grandbabies!!!

(Ignore the bird)

*back to the present*

Weird Bus Driver: Hey kid. Are you a new student at Yōkai Academy.

After finishing that minute of memory lane, I turned my attention to the bus driver. Who for some reason has glowing eyes, instead of normal eyes.

Y/n: Yes, I am actually attending the academy.

Weird bus driver : *chuckles a bit* In that case, you better prepare yourself. That is one scaryass school you're going to.

Y/n: *smirkes a bit* Then I'm glad it won't be boring.

Weird bus driver: 'This kid is going to be interesting'.

While the bus was still getting to the school, I heard my phone ring, and it was my friend kyōko aono.

Y/n: *picks up phone* Hey kyōko, how are you?

Kyōko: Good, hey y/n, I was told by your mom that you were going to some school called Yōkai Academy.

Y/n: Yep, that's the gist of it.

Kyōko: *pouting through the phone* I wished you could've gone to the same school as me.

Y/n: *chuckles a bit* Don't worry kyōko, we can still see each other and I'll miss you too for a bit, you are my closest friend after all.

Kyōko: *stutters a bit through the phone * W-well as your number one friend, I decided to do some research, and you should know-

Right before kyōko could say what she wanted to say, the bus went through a tunnel, and the connection was cut off.

Y/n: *confused a bit* Kyōko?Are you still there?

I decided to put my phone away a bit, and noticed the bus stopped at the bus stop, and my cue to get off.

Y/n: *sees a scarecrow looking bus stop, and the area* This place is definitely interesting.

The place looks like something from a somewhat horror movie, the ocean itself was red, but for some reason my other instincts felt like it was getting comfortable in this area, weird.

Y/n : *sees the academy in the distance * That must be the academy up ahead.

Weird bus driver: *smirking* I watch my back if I were you kid.

Right before I could answer back, the bus driver drove away.

Y/n: *tries to call kyōko again*Hmm, I guess this area doesn't have good reception, oh well time to get to school.

After that, I started walking down a dirt-like road that was leading to the academy.  While walking I took notice of the surroundings, while definitely creepy in a way especially with birds and tombstones, I don't know why, but it felt serene in a way.

While walking, I heard some weird noise and it felt like it was closing in. I got my "other half" ready for whatever it is. The noise grew closer, but it wasn't coming in front of me, it was in the air. I looked up and saw a bat.

Weird bat : *cheerful*Just me, a bat. Wheeee!!!

Y/n: Was that a talking bat?

Right when I lower my guard-

Y/n: *in pain* Ghkkk!?!!?!?

Something hit me at full force behind my back!!!

I was getting my bearings, and noticed a bike a few distance away from me, now I know what hit me, and tried to get back, I planted my hand on the ground, but for some reason, the ground was very soft, wait a minute.

???: *moans a bit*

I slowly turned my head to the direction of the sound, and noticed my hand was on a girl's thigh!!!

I quickly moved my hand away and took notice of the girl. She was wearing a female version of my uniform, she was beautiful, she also had long pink hair and the most interesting thing I noticed is that she was wearing some kind of rosary around her neck.

Y/n: *panics * I'm so sorry!!!

Pink-haired girl: *in a daze a bit* No no, I'm sorry I just suddenly got all dizzy.

While both me and the girl were getting our bearings, I felt a warm liquid slightly drop from the side of my head, I touched it and noticed I was bleeding a bit. My regeneration must've got caught off guard.

Pink-haired girl: *notices the blood* You're bleeding!

The pink-haired girl pulled out a napkin, and was getting close to me, I accidentally got a good whiff of her, she smelled like strawberries.

Pink-haired girl: *smells something* I can't...*blushes slightly* I shouldn't. That smell.

I noticed the girl was fidgeting a bit,and I hope she was okay.

Y/n: *slightly worried* Hey. Are you alright?

Pink-haired girl: *grab both side of y/n's face* I'm sorry. I can't help it. Because I'm a vampire. *proceeds to bite y/n's neck*

The girl suddenly bites my neck!!!, but what caught me was that she said that she was a vampire, and if I remember correctly mom and dad have faced some, some good ones and not so good ones.

Pink-haired girl: *still biting y/n's neck* *now realizing, and jumping straight back up* I'm sorry! I didn't mean too!

Y/n: *rubbing his neck, and getting back up as well* I won't lie and say it doesn't hurt. But seriously.

Pink-haired girl: I'm sorry!!!, *noticing my information guide* Are you going to yokai too?

Y/n: yeah, I'm a first year actually.

Pink-haired girl: *cheerful a bit* That's great. This is mine too!

Y/n: Huh, neat.

Pink-haired girl: *blushes and fidgets a bit* I have to ask. What do you think about, we'll about vampires?

Y/n: Well I don't hate vampires, I actually think they're pretty cool. 'Not to mention while a sad attempt, some have tried to face against dad or mom, but that never ends well for the most part, but I can respect their courage'.

Pink-haired girl: *gives a surprise hug* Thank You!!!!

The girl was really happy with the response and made us fall down again with a hug.

Pink-haired girl: *atop of y/n* Well if that's the case, maybe we can be friends, what do you think?

I kinda was trying to keep myself focused, but that's difficult when you have a girl who's the same age as you and atop of you.

Y/n:*minuscule blush* sure, why not.

Pink-haired girl: *cheerful, sitting atop of y/n* Oh fantastic! I was nervous because I didn't have any friends here yet. *just realized* Oh, my name is sakura akashiya by the way.

Y/n: *small smile* Nice to meet ya sakura, my name is y/n l/n.

Sakura: 'l/n? I wonder were I have heard that name before'? *cheerful smile* It's nice to meet you as well y/n! Let's be good friends!

*timeskip, Yōkai Academy*

Sakura went on ahead, and I was able to get to the school, and finding my class, I was the first to get to the first class, and I met my teacher, shizuka nekonome.

I can read her monster energy, and can tell she's a cat demon.

Miss Nekonome: *cheerful* Good morning! You must be y/n l/n, I got your school records and everything.

Y/n: Yes, it's nice to meet you miss nekonome, and I wanted to give this to you.

Miss Nekonome was confused a bit, but with a little bit of portals, I brought out a bento box wrapped in a cat themed cloth and gave it to her.

Miss nekonome: *inspecting the box* What's in it y/n?

Y/n: *smiles a bit* I wanted to make a good impression on you, so I made some special sushi and used good quality fish for it. 'Mom always did say to make a good impression for the long run'.

Miss Nekonome: *stars in her eyes, metaphorically* This is incredible!!! And from the delectable smell, these fish are hard to come by! *immediately hugs y/n* Thank you for the gift y/n! I can tell you'll be me most favorite student!

*small timeskip, everyone else shows up for class*

Miss Nekonome: *cheerful* Good morning students, if you're new here. Then welcome to Yōkai Academy. My name is Shizuka Nekonome, and I'll be your teacher.

Y/n: *noticed miss nekonome giving slight glances* 'I feel like the sushi worked to well. But I'm glad I got a nice teacher for this school'.

Miss Nekonome: Well, I'm sure everybody knows this fact, but yokai is an incredibly unique school. One that is exclusively for monsters. Yep!

Y/n: 'Wait, what did she just say?'

Miss nekonome: Currently this planet is well under the control of humans. So in order for monsters like you and I to survive class, *closed eye stern* the only option we have is to coexist with them.

Y/n: *shocked* 'It's no wonder why I kept smelling different types of monster energy in this school, Yōkai Academy is a school for monsters'!

Miss Nekonome: *cheerful* And that brings us too, our first rule! Accepting special circumstances, you must always remain in your human form, everybody got that.

Y/n: 'I barely ever show my full form anyway, at most I change certain parts on my body'.

Miss nekonome: *cheerful* Rule number two, never ever reveal your monster identity to another student, I'm sure you can see why. Everyone will follow these rules, right?

Annoying punk: *scoffs* Hmph, bunch of boring rules.

I took notice of some rip-off punk near my desk. Why do I feel like he'll be annoying later.

Miss nekonome: *looks at name book* And you are. Saizou komiya!

Rip-off punk: *smirks* If we do spot a human. Why don't we just eat him? That's what I do anyway *starts letting out long tongue*.

Y/n: 'yep, definitely an annoying red flag that will come to annoy me later'.

Miss Nekonome: Well now, there's no chance of that happening. Because at this school, all the students and teachers are monsters. So *tail comes out* no exception got it? You see, this school is encased in a giant secret barrier, but even if a human got in here and wandered in, *cheerful* they would get killed immediately.

Y/n: *sarcastic* 'Great, not only I have to use some of my energy to cover up my human half, I also have to make sure I don't get killed by someone in this school, just great'!

I can tell that rip-off punk is looking at me like a meat bag, and from the smell, he's an orc, dangerous, but not bright in his case.

Saizou: *smirking, putting his tongue back*: Say whatever you want, I've been smelling some traces of human this whole time.

Then I heard the classroom door open.

???: I'm so sorry I'm late!

I recognized that voice, it's-

Miss Nekonome: *sees the student coming in* Oh don't worry, it's alright. Go ahead and introduce yourself.

Sakura: *cheerful, and standing in front of class*: Hi. I'm sakura akashiya!

The classroom, especially the males, were getting pretty excited.

While trying to stay low and not draw attention-

Sakura: *sees y/n,cheerful and pounces* Y/n it's you!!! I'm so glad we're in the same class!!!

Y/n: Why me!!!

*timeskip, after class*

After class was finished, aside from jealous looks from both genders, sakura decided to walk with me, but also grab my arm, close to her, mind you, and walk down the hallway. I know that sakura was happy that I became her first friend, but the way she showing, is telling others we're more than friends.

Y/n: Um sakura.

Sakura: *looks at y/n* Yes y/n.

Y/n: *sweat drops a bit* Can we go somewhere more peaceful?

Sakura:*clueless* Is there something wrong, y/n?

Y/n: *can sense the jealous glares* Nothing to worry about.

*small timeskip*

Me and sakura went to some outside area, where there was a convenient beverage dispenser. I got myself f/d (favorite drink) and sakura got a tomato juice drink.

Sakura: *drinks a bit* This is fun, right!

Y/n: Better than anything else, 'aside from still hearing the classmates whispering about us nearby'.

While enjoying the drinks, my senses started to pick up, great.

Greasy orc: *smirks* Hey there sexy, you said your name was sakura akashiya, right.

While finishing my drink, I took a sideway glance and noticed Saizou standing beside a small building near us and "trying" to act cool. The greasy orc than "tries" to impress sakura, by holding me up from my shirt, *sarcastic* This guy is a real gentleman.

Sakura: *worried* No! Let him go!

Saizou: *arrogant smirk* So tell me, what's a smoking hot chick doing with a numbnuts like this nobody. I mean, come on.

While the greasy orc was momentarily distracted by doing a sorry attempt at flirting with sakura, I decided to get out of this bind. With some speed, I got out of saizou's grip, and put him in a wrist lock and put some pressure on it for any stronger resistance.

Saizou: *in pain* Ghk?!?!What the hell!!! How did you do that?!

*sakura's pov*

It was incredible! I didn't even see y/n move. One minute he was being hung up by saizou, and now y/n had him in some locking posture.

What no one noticed was that during the small scuffle, the young vampirina rosary's eye moved and looked intently at y/n.

*y/n's pov*

Y/n: *stares at saizou with lazy angry eyes* Now listen komiya, I'll pretend you didn't try anything, and we can both mind our own business. *apply more pressure to the locking posture, while smiling innocently* Right?

Saizou: *still in pain* Ghk!!!!

Y/n: *let's go of lock* Good.

After saizou recovered, he was hardly happy.

Saizou: *angry* This isn't over you bastard!!! Mark my words.

Saizou walked away in anger, but I feel like it's not over. Eh, we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

*small timeskip, school roof*

After the scuffle with the greasy orc, sakura took me up the roof to enjoy the breeze.

Sakura: *relief* Wow, that was pretty scary. Are you sure you're okay after that y/n?

Y/n: I'm fine sakura, it's not my first tango dealing with a meathead like saizou.

Sakura: I can tell, It was amazing how you trapped saizou in that grip! Where did you learn to do that?

Y/n: I learned it from my parents, they taught me many things. Especially dealing with jerks.

Sakura: *patted y/n's back* You're really cool y/n. You know that. So y/n, what kind of monster are you anyway. *just remembered* Oh wait, we're not supposed to reveal that to each other, are we. Sorry. Never mind, you don't have to tell me.

Y/n: *chuckles a bit* Well I know what monster you are sakura, you did tell me that you are a vampire.

Sakura: *blushes in embarrassment* Yeah. I know, but when I told you, I had no idea it was a rule here.

Y/n: I mean, no offense sakura, but you don't look much for a vampire. 'Though I do smell some kind of strong vampiric aura from her, the rosary on her chest must be some kind of seal'.

Sakura: Well not right now, but look *shows her rosary more better*.

Y/n: *not focusing on other things* You mean, you're rosary.

Sakura: Yes, if I were to take this off. I would change. I would turn into my true form, a powerful and terrifying vampire. So-

Y/n: *finishing sakura's statement* A true vampire.

Sakura: *holding her rosary* That's why I wear it. As a charm to seal my powers away. I can't take it off myself.

Y/n: 'Must be some kind of fail safe'. Well I still be your friend, even if you become a terrifying vampire, sakura.

Sakura: *extremely happy and hugs y/n* I knew you'd understand y/n! That's why you're my first friend here!

Sakura: *slightly separates, and blushes slightly* And also, I feel I should tell you that you're my first in another way too y/n.

Y/n: *internally screaming mentally sakura is close to him* In what way sakura?

Sakura: *still blushing* Up until now, I've only had tomato juice and transfusion bags. I have never sucked anyone's blood before, when I sucked your blood y/n, it felt so heavenly, and I also felt a warm passion course through me like fire.

Y/n: 'Sakura must of detected my human half, and my other half when she sucked a bit of my blood the first time'. *plays it off, and scratch behind head* I didn't think my blood would be that tasty to a vampire, heh heh.

Sakura: *slowly wrapping arms around y/n's neck* It was so rich. So intoxicating. That feeling, I'll never forget it.

Right before sakura could suck my blood, I don't know how but I could sense her true vampire power more stronger, and right before she could suck my blood. I gently pushed her back.

Y/n: You should calm down sakura, in class Miss Nekonome did tell us another part of being in a human society, we have to have good control on our monster instincts. 'I had to learn that the hard way after the jester incident. But that jester had it coming'.

Sakura: *blush in embarrassment* I'm sorry! Your blood is so good! *sighs a bit* But, I'll try to control it.

*timeskip, afternoon*

After school was done for today, every student went back to their dorms, but I had different plans.

Sakura: *sees y/n going somewhere* Hey y/n, where are you going? Your dorm is in the other direction.

Y/n: I wanted to do some shadow boxing, don't worry I won't take long.

Sakura: *blushes a bit and twiddling her fingers* If it's okay with you y/n, can I come along to see you train.

Y/n: *noticing obvious love signs* 'How is sakura liking me that much! We only met just today'!   *small sigh* Sure, why not.

Sakura: *closed eye smile* Great, let's get going! *immediately grabs y/n's arm, and speed of to a training area*

While sakura dragged, I mean take me a faster way to a training area, we didn't notice a certain someone watching us.

Saizou: *watching from a distance, evil smirk* Well now, this will be easier than I thought. I get a chance to beat that loser to a pulp. And sakura will see who the true alpha is around this school *sadistic laugh*.

*random area near the scarecrow bus stop*

While sakura was nearby, I got into a fighting position and did some shadow boxing.

*sakura's pov*

While watching y/n boxing, I was still thinking about his blood.

Sakura: 'Y/n's blood felt so wonderful! But there was another taste to it, it felt hot, but at the same time, really warm. I wonder what type of monster y/n is?'

???: 'Your not the only one who's wondering about that.'

I was surprised when I heard a voice, but I noticed my rosary glowed a bit, and I knew it was my other self, Moka. We sometimes talked a bit through a mental link, but Moka doesn't usually talk to me in awhile, I wonder what made her talk to me now.

Sakura: 'What do you mean Moka?'

Moka: 'You were right about his blood being warm and hot, I can't put my finger on it, but I can tell he's strong and while he's hiding his monster aura well, I can tell it's quite powerful, dare I say it's more power than mine.'

I was shocked! Moka never really complimented many people, but y/n must've caught her eye in some way for Moka to compliment him.  Before I can say anything else, the rosary stopped glowing, meaning moka went back to sleep. I wonder what made her think y/n was stronger than her.

*y/n's pov*

While still boxing, I took some glances at sakura and noticed her looking at her rosary, but I didn't think much of it.

*crunch*

I stopped boxing , and me and sakura got weary about the sudden noise we heard, and tried to find the source of the sound.

Sakura: *got a little scared* Hey y/n, did you hear that?

Y/n: *got ready* Yeah. I know you're out here! Come out, now!

The noise grew closer and me and sakura noticed it wasn't something, it was someone. saizou komiya.

Sakura: *surprised* Saizou!

Saizou: *smirks* Well well, how did you figure it was me, loser.

Y/n: *stern* I didn't, but I felt like someone was following me and sakura.

Saizou: *chuckles a bit* Well it doesn't matter, I'm going to show sakura who's the true alpha and it ain't going to be you loser. And we're far enough away from the school, so I don't have to hold back!!! *proceeds to transform into his monster form*

Saizou grew larger and developed sharp claws and giant muscles.

Saizou ( orc form): If you haven't caught on loser, I'm an orc. Now show me your real form and let's get this going, I got a girl to get *gives look to sakura*.

Y/n: *not impressed* One, I'm not going to fight. And two, it's against school rules to show our monster form, idiot.

Saizou ( orc form): We're outside of school now. So that rule doesn't mean crap to me!

Saizou then used his whip like touge to attack me, but I dodged it effortlessly, but since saizou was in his monster form, he used his booster speed to catch me off guard and throw a side punch to my side. Luckily I changed a bit of my side to some tough scales to take the blow, but it still hurt a bit.

Y/n: *in pain slightly* Argh!!

Sakura: *extremely worried* Y/n!!!

Sakura then ran to my side to check on me. While the greasy orc was walking closer to us.

Sakura: *crying slightly* Y/n! I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. If I stayed back at the school, then saizou wouldn't have bothered you.

Y/n: *getting back up* Don't cry sakura, that jackass would have bothered you more if you didn't come along with me and I'll be damned if he hurt my first friend at this school.

Sakura: *shock and blush* Y/n.

Saizou ( orc form): What's with all this lovey dovey shit.

Y/n: *stern looking at saizou* Listen sakura, get away from here now, I'll deal with the greasy orc.

Sakura: *extremely worried* But y/n, he'll kill you!

Y/n: *smirks a bit* Don't worry sakura. *changed eyes to dragon eyes*

I won't go down so easy.

Sakura was surprised a bit, because my eyes changed, but she stood a bit away from the upcoming battle and the greasy orc came close.

Saizou ( orc form): Well well, are finally getting serious loser, take this!!!

Saizou then proceeds to throw multiple punches, but I dodged them by increasing my speed without transforming and then proceed to give saizou a sideways kick to his head, and I covered my leg in some scales to make the kick land harder. He took the hit, but he skidded back a bit from the force.

Saizou ( orc form): *laughs at attempt* That was a good kick *flinches from the pain*, but you're going to need a lot more to beat me, loser. Though since you can dodge my attacks so easily, *looks at sakura* Let's see how well it can protect others!

Saizou then uses his tongue to attack sakura!

Y/n: *worried* Sakura!!!

I used my speed to get to sakura fast and grab her out of the attack.

*snap*

I then heard a snap, and looked at my hand and noticed the rosary that sakura usually has around her neck came off and was in my hand.

Y/n: *worried a bit* Hey sakura, are you-

Right before I could say, a bright pink light encased sakura and made the entire area darkened and the moon appeared, but in pink. The force from the light made me skid back a bit, and then many bats started appearing and went into the strange pink light.

Y/n: Sakura!!!

I couldn't tell what was going on, but the light was settling down and after the light stopped, sakura was standing there with bats covering her entire body.

Saizou ( orc form): *started getting scared* Hey, what the hell is this? She looks different. And scary. That's not the same sakura.

My senses were telling me sakura produced a different aura, and it felt very different. One of the bats on her peeled off, and showed one of her eyes, instead of an emerald color, it showed crimson red. The other bats peeled off, and sakura was definitely different. Instead of her hair being pink, it was now a silver white color, her eyes crimson red, and her once meek personality was now oozing confidence with her new look. And while not a pervert, her body definitely got bigger.

Y/n: That must be sakura's true form.

Saizou ( orc form): *scared shitless* Oh man. The tales are true. Those eyes. The silver hair. The overwhelming energy. She's an s-class super monster. A real vampire!

Y/n: 's-class, she's two rank down from me, making her my junior'. But she's definitely no joke'.

I have to admit, sakura's transformation is definitely packing power, and my other side is urging me to fight her. What a drag to keep under control.

Silver-haired sakura:*smirking a bit* I knew you were interesting when my other half got to taste your blood a bit y/n, but I didn't think you were capable of removing my seal as well, you keep piquing my interest, don't you.

Y/n: sakura?

Moka: Just call me moka. Also, do you want to finish this meathead together?

Y/n: Why? You're capable of taking down that greasy orc.

Moka: *smug smirk a bit* True, but I want to see some of your skills as well.

Saizou ( orc form): Hey! *getting both y/n and moka's attention* What the hell is wrong with me? She's only staring at me. *body shakes a bit* But I can't stop shaking! No, this isn't right. *talking to himself a bit* Hey pull it together man, if you took down a vampire-

While saizou was trying to psych up, moka and I were warming up a bit and got ready to finish this.

Moka: *yawns a bit, stern glare* It's time for you to learn your place.

That was my cue, and with a burst of speed both me and moka went towards the greasy orc and boosting my strength a bit, I gave him a hard punch to the face and moka gave him a hard kick to his sides.

( imagine the green hero as y/n , and the red one as moka)

Saizou ( orc form): Arghhhhh!!!!!!!!

Saizou was thrown all the way back to the side of the cliff.

Saizou (orc form): *weakly* yes mame, I'll remember that *goes unconscious*

The weird bat came flying by.

Weird bat: So quick! Wheeeee!!!

After the whole ordeal, now it's just me and moka. I just hope our first interaction  doesn't go to shit.

Moka: Now then, with that idiot out of commission. Me and you can have a nice *smirks a bit* talk.

Y/n: So this is the real you when the rosary is unsealed, I have to admit, you definitely know your way around a brawl.

Moka: *smirks* You're not half bad yourself, but I would've liked it better when you're not holding yourself back.

Y/n: *sighs a bit* You can tell, I thought I hid it well.

Moka: You did, but to an experienced fighter, anyone can see through that illusion. But I can tell you held back because you didn't want sakura to get hurt.

Y/n: *reluctantly admit* Yeah, I know she's strong, but since she can't use your power, she's somewhat defenseless and I didn't want an accident to occur because I couldn't hold back.

Moka:*smirks* And you did, good work.

Y/n: *smiles back* No problem, I am her friend after all.

Moka: 'He's definitely different from the others my other half met before, I'm glad she found the right one'. *yawns again* I'm starting to get tired, I'll need to go back to the rosary. But before that, *quickly tries to bite y/n's neck*

I noticed moka try to bite my neck, but with some quick reflexes, I turned my neck into some tough scales.

Y/n: *notice moka having tough time biting my neck* Yeah, I might've lost my guard the first time, but *challenging smirk*  I'm not the type to drop my guard around all the time, but I'll give you an A for effort.

Moka: 'You have definitely got my full attention y/n l/n'. *accepting the challenge smirk* Thanks for the grade, and I'll make sure to keep a good eye on you. *takes the rosary* Until we meet again, y/n l/n.

After putting back on the rosary, moka immediately turned back into sakura and fainted. I immediately caught her and made sure she was alright.

Y/n: *finish checking sakura* Glad she's well. Now what.

I suddenly realize something, a knocked out meathead, a girl in my arms, and I'm not injured in any way.

Y/n: Ah crap.
