I watched him try to get up for a little while, but I got bored and went over to a tree and sat down watching them. Alex was the first to get up, and after a couple of minutes the others did too. Then they all looked around at each-other, and then they all gasped when they saw the head that I had put at the head of the van. 

"Okay guys who killed the dragon" John was trying to be sarcastic, but everyone was in too much shock to answer. Alex was the first to snap out of it and he looked at them.  

"We'll figure out who or what did this later, but for now he need to go in and find Valerie" they all got their things, and slowly went inside. I was amazed that they didn't see me in the forest then I realized that it was dark and I was dark, so of coarse they wouldn't see me unless I made them. I waited until they all were inside, and then I went to the middle of the place and listened to them yelling commands and checks as they went through out the house. A couple of minutes later I saw Ashley come running out crying, but then she saw me and screamed in horror before darting back inside. Then Alex, and the others came out looking around with their guns raised, and I shifted putting my head on my paws. Making it impossible for them to not notice me unless they were blind, and I also huffed to add measure. 

"What are you and where is Valerie" Alex said as he put up his gun aiming it at me for the second time. 

What's up with this, I've already been shot by you once I said to them, and Alex put down his gun and fell on the floor backwards. The others rushed to his side, and then they saw how big I was and they looked at me warily. I couldn't believe that Alex had actually feinted, and it was so funny that I couldn't hold in the laughter. My booming dragon laughter echoed across the quiet forest, and when I looked at them I saw that they were pale. 

What do I have something on my teeth I asked them opening my mouth again, and when I closed it and looked at them again they were almost white and shaking with fear oh it's my teeth period I get it. No I am not going to eat you guys, so stop shitting yourselves I huffed and grabbed the red dragons head, and when I threw it at them they all scattered, and then looked at it and then me bubbling with more fear. I noticed that Alex was slowly waking up, and he was rubbing the back of his head groaning in pain. 

"Why didn't you guys catch me" he asked looking at their frozen bodies, and then he froze when he saw that the dragon head was now right in-front of him. Then he looked behind him, and he got up very quickly looking at me and then the head. 

If you are wondering if I killed him then you are right I said and don't point a gun at me again or it won't be a gun anymore I was rather irritated as he took his hand off his rifle, and then looked at me in disbelief. 

"Why would the queen of dragons help us" he asked looking at my large powerful form warily

"Yeah why did you help us great dragon queen and where is Valerie" Ashley stepped forward bravely

Ug I don't know what this queen thing is I said shaking my head in frustration he said it, and now you guys are saying it too. It is very annoying, and as for Valerie are you that stupid because I'm right here. I looked at their shocked faces, and then I felt something on my leg. I looked down in shock to see that Ashley was hugging my leg, and then she let go and punched me. I lifted it up in fake pain saying a sarcastic ow and looking at her. 

"Why didn't you tell us that you were okay, and how did this happen" Alex said motioning to my new body

I don't know, and can I only talk to you guys and how does this Queen thing work I asked him. 

"Yes only you can talk to humans by telepathy, but the queen thing was supposedly chosen randomly if the person was a strong fit, and if they could master all of the elements" Alex said "but I'm pretty sure that you already can even if you don't know it yet" 

Okay then why am I so big, and is there a king of dragons I asked

"No there isn't a king of dragons because the queen never has one...Period" Alex said darkly "they still have a mate but the mate is the lowest over the people, and not even close to becoming a king of the dragons. As for your size, and probably speed, strength and other things are because you are the head of all of the dragons, and maybe you could make peace between them and us" the last part was hopeful, but I was still hurt when he mentioned the word 'mate' because I kept on thinking about the man that I had accidentally killed before I got to the academy. 

"Where is your mate" Shadow asked confused, and I looked at the ground

I never realized that he was my mate until he died in that tree just outside of your camp I said sadly looking at the floor, and I noticed that they were quiet. They all knew what it was like to lose someone that you were or could've been very close to over time. 

"I-I'm sorry I didn't mean to--" she started

It's fine I said it was an accident that I'll have to get over, or deal with for the rest of my life...which may be eternity sadly. Let's get back to camp now okay I tried to imagine my body as it was but I couldn't, so I just stayed this way unchanging.

"If you can't change then you know that if you go in like that they'll do everything in their power to keep everyone safe" Alex said 

I know, but I'll have to deal with it I said looking at him in the eye and when do classes start I asked warily. 

"They start today, so we are going to go in a different portal, and join everyone" Alex said looking at everyone and making sure that they all heard him clearly "your going to have to deal with the academy guards and maybe even the king and queen and their guards if they are there, but whatever you do, do not get angry and kill them all or there will only be chaos for the elemental's if word gets out that the dragon queen killed their king and queen. They'll send in every one to try and kill you, but you can't die so that's going to make you incredibly hard to 'kill'" he  started to laugh, and I was confused as to why he was laughing.

What I asked 

"I'm sorry" he said wiping laughing tears from his face "I'm just imagining the king pissing his pants when he see's how you move" he said and the others barely contained their laughter in. 

"It is kind of funny when I think about it" Ashley said laughing her head off. 

I don't understand why this is funny I said confused who is this king and why would he be scared of me I was very confused now

"He is a great warrior that has killed many queens before you, and once he realizes that you can't be killed and you are not a full grown queen he is going to be shitting his pants" Alex said smirking "were going to take the north portal, and you are going to enter the south portal, or the portal that you first came through, but once you are through what you do is entirely in you" they packed up and left, but then they left and took the long way like he said. I waited about twenty minutes before I started to walk to the south portal which was only about ten miles away form here. I walked for an hour and covered five miles slowly, and when I thought that they were inside of the academy. I put the head in a makeshift sack that I took from the houses roof and ran the rest of the way at full speed. I was going so fast that in a second I almost ran into the cliff, but I stopped myself just in time. 

I waited until the portal was shimmering and liquid looking and then I stepped through. When I got through I saw that almost everyone in the camp was talking to each-other and walking around the school. I looked at them and then they started to run screaming away, and I saw that the teams had run to their cabins and they all returned to the the clearing with weapons in hand. I saw that even team diamond was there and the new members of team emerald along with everyone else. I could smell the fear from every other team, but team diamond because everyone else knew that they couldn't do anything to me. So I just lazily swiped at them and freaked them out a little. Then I sat and started to lay down waiting for the king and queen to come. I heard that someone in team emerald had notified everyone in the radio, and the king, queen, and their men were probably on their way over. 

After about three minutes which was really surprising for me. I heard what sounded like running in heavy armor and then I heard the wheels and strikes of a chariot, and it's horses. In about a minute the king and queen's soldiers had taken places between all of the teams. Then I saw a very built man with blond hair, a very toned and fit body step out of the back of the carriage. Then a woman that also had a built, sleek, and strong body stepped out of the other side of the carriage. I got up and sat on my haunches watching the two very strong, experience, and armored monarchies go between the men and in-front of everyone with their weapons drawn. I saw that the king had a glowing blue sword that he held with both hands, and the woman had twin blades that also glowed. I then took off the sack that I was carrying on my back, and I was glad that the disgusting thing was off my back. Then I threw it at their feet looking them both in the eye. Neither of them flinched but their cavalry did and I struggled to not laugh at this. 

Do you know who this was I asked them 

"Yes we do" the queen said as she looked inside of the bag 

"Stand down me" the king said "this is between us, and good job teams for holding her here"

"We didn't really do anything, sire" someone in the crowd said "she just lay there until you got here" he said and then the teams left, but the guards went back and held their spears in a blockade wall that made a ring that was wide enough for a fight and good enough for them to spread out. Then the king gave a type of signal and they all got together, and went by the carriage that was a long distance from us. 

"I'm wondering why you didn't attack everyone as soon as you got in" the king asked and the queen thought about it for a second before looking at me also confused. 

 I wanted to establish a sort of pact between the dragons and the humans, or us I said not caring if I gave away that I was a human, elemental, and dragon queen. 

"I'm sorry, but we can't do that" the king said, and I was confused "because the last time that we did their queen organized an attack on us that almost killed all of us one day, and that day I vowed to never deal with a dragon queen again" he got into a fighting stance and they both started to go to my sides to try and make a duel, and very damaging attack top my flank and sides. 

Fine then if you want a fight then I'll give you a fight, and I'll go easy on you too I said and in a quick movement I pinned the woman with my tail and the king with one claw. They lost their weapons in shock, but then I felt a little jab in my tail from the queen and I saw that a little blade that she had in the sleeve of her armor had hit my tail and broken into a thousand pieces. I lifted my tail and got off the king, and then I walked a little in the opposite direction. I noticed that the guards had gotten into a fighting stance, and were ready to charge if I killed one or both of them. So when I didn't they were confused, but I noticed that the relaxed a little when I let them free. I turned around about three feet away, and looked at their shocked faces. 

"What did you do to move so fast" the king said "some sort of enchantment" 

No I haven't even begun my first year here, and I don't think that a sixteen year old could learn something that advanced and hard I said to him confused

"What you're only sixteen, and you are that fast" the king started "not possible" 

"I agree" the queen said "the only way you would be that fast is if you were royal blood, or--or were killed" she said

I was technically 'killed' by my team here, but that was after I could move this fast. Even in human form, and i never knew my parents. All I know is that my brother died as a slave, and my parents died in a great dragon war I said to them saddened by what my dreams had uncovered so far. They were only fragments, but they were enough for me to know that my parents were killed that day along with many others. 

"Were they wearing golden armor" the queen asked and I nodded "no it isn't possible. They said that they couldn't find you guys at all, and we were looking for you. In fact your parents may have been our personal guards, but they never said where they had their children" she looked devastated.

"Even if she is their children" the king started "she is still a monster, and you can see that...everyone can" he said to her, and then he threw his sword at my chest. It made contact, and I just stared at the enchanted weapon embedded in my chest up to it's hilt, but I didn't feel any pain. In fact felt like the sword wasn't there at all, but it had struck my heart, and I knew that much. I used my tail to pull it out, and then I looked at him trying to stay calm, but I knew that my eyes were glowing whatever color they glowed. I closed my eyes and threw the sword at his feet, and everyone just stared to me in shock. Even the guards couldn't keep in their emotions as they looked at the hole in my chest disappear, and the black-stained sword at their kings feet. 

"Why didn't that kill you" he said flabbergasted "it should've killed you. This sword is enchanted by me, my queen, and the best enchanter and enchantress that have ever lived. In fact both our ours are, and why do you have your eyes close, and why haven't you killed me yet"

Trust me I am trying my best not to, and I am being loyal to my king, and I think that I should tell you that I was whipped by a dragon claw whip a long time ago, and then a ghost lead me to this place when I was still not shifted saying that it would be the safest place that I had. Just before i got here though I met my mate, but I didn't know that till it was too late I was almost at the verge of tears as I told my story to them I accidentally impaled him on a tree branch with one of my elements of wind, and as he died he told me what and where to go, and that he was my mate.  I then realized that I had killed my own mate before I got here, and I was destroyed on the inside. I could've died during the time that I was recovering from the dragons claw whip's poisons, but I don't know because I was unconscious for the three weeks that I was recovering, and I was in and out of consciousness. I got my chance to run when a dragon came across the land and I later met him as my mate, but as i said I didn't know that he was my mate until it was too late, and I've been having the best life here. No fear of others besides getting captured by him I pointed to the head of the red dragon that I'd killed a little while ago and being here has really helped me, and I never thought that it would happen, but I've made new friends here that I never thought I would ever have again. I finished my story and looked at him wondering what he was going to say next. 

"We both understand how it feels to be alone with no one to go to, and even if he doesn't want to admit it he knows how you feel and on the inside of the toughness, and armor he has a heart for others" the queen said looking at her king and husband. 

"Yes it's true" he said after he sighed "but I will let you stay here as long as you tell everyone what you are and as long as you train with me once every week, and I'll choose it based on your missions deal, and I you can't kill anyone. If they try to mess with you then you can defend yourself, but you aren't going to kill anyone okay and if anyone does this then I expect them to bring them in for sentencing" 

Okay I will, but I don't really know how to contact other dragons I said

"If you are a queen then they would already know what to do and you would know who and where they broke a rule, and they would probably come to you for their sentence or punishment" the queen said "like since you are making a sort of pact with us then any dragon that kills a human whether it is an accident, self defense, or on purpose would come to you for either guidance, to see what their punishment would be, and they would come to you with another for the same thing, and it may be a worse thing to happen. I can tell you this though. They will not come in the human castle just yet not even with others unless they are desperate, or they have a really urgent thing that they need you for" 

I don't know how they would find me though I said to her

"It is in every dragons behavior to know who, where, and what the queen is and what she does" the king explained "and if you called them they would rightfully and viciously defend you and keep you alive. Even if they don't like you, but there are exceptions like rouges, and strong ones that will defy you and may even try to kill you. Thought it would be in vain because as you know you can't be killed by anything" 

Well that's good to know, but you are saying that they will come to me in any form and fashion for any problem or thing that they have I said

"Yes" he said "just like me people and my queen sometimes" he turned and smiled at the woman "but for now we need to get you educated and others educated about you okay, and this is unheard of so it might not be taken that well. Just as a forewarning" he said

Oh thanks I said so now what

"Now I am going to have my best guard, Gerard tell the academy that you need to speak to them outside" he said to the fast looking guard that came up silently when his name was called. Then I saw a flash of light and the next thing I knew there were notes and a single loud bang as he hit all of the doors seemingly at the same time. Everyone started to pour out in excitement about seeing a dead dragon queen in their camp grounds, and they slowed as they all looked at me, and started slowly forward saying things like "what is he thinking" "why is the dragon still alive" "she's so big" and other things said by students and teachers alike, but I saw that one teacher was fascinated by what she was seeing and she she almost got past the wall of guards that blocked everyone from getting past. 

I could see and smell her excitement about seeing me for some odd reason, and then I got it. This crazy woman was a scientist, and she had probably never gotten to see, hear, feel, or study a living dragon queen before. I was going to have a hard time from her questions if I was in her class, and if she saw me at all. I hoped that she didn't, and I also hoped that I didn't see her very often as a human, but I was going to have to avoid her like the plague when she found out about my human form. 

"Yes I know that some of you are thinking that I am crazy, but she can't be killed and she has given good enough reason for me to accept her alliance, and I know what happened to the last alliance and the great war that we had with the dragons" the king said shutting all of the talking up as everyone listened "now this young lady is a part of someone's team here, and when you find out her human identity you are not to bug her, mess with her, experiment on her, or treat her any different than you would another person" he turned to me "now would you please shift to your human form for everyone to see who you are"

I focused on what I looked like and I made a blanket of leaves to hide myself just in case I was naked after this. After the process was finished I saw that my body was prettier, and more powerful, demanding, and stronger than it had been before. I did have clothes on, but they were under a black, grey, and red armor that I had just suddenly gotten when I shifted back. Perks of being a queen I guess I thought, and I let the blanket drop. Everyone either inhaled, exhaled, blew a hot steam of air, gasped, huffed, or whistled at my appearance. I was about five-ten now and I had my twin moon-blades on a sheath on my back. I had several knife types, and I saw that every single one was glowing a silvery white moon color that glowed brightly. I guessed that they were enchanted from, or by something, but the thing that amazed me was that I knew how to use every single one of them. 

Sorry guys this was a longer chapter than the others and I am sorry if you got bored because I didn't make the king, queen, and dragon fight but I am not really good at fighting details, but I will have a large fighting scene in the future (spoiler, I may have a war of some sort in the future) but I won't know until I get to it.
