I woke up in a rather comfy bed, and I noticed that I could move my hands, arms, legs, and body freely. Then I wondered why I wasn't tied up, and why there was a little tray of breakfast food on the little nightstand to my left. 

"Why am I not tied up" I asked with a dry voice as I saw where the man was sitting at "and did you--"

"No I didn't do anything to you, and why would I tie up my own kind" he said "especially when I could teach them how to survive and live in this world of hunters, elemental's, and us" he shifted his position and put his arm on the counter behind him. 

"Why did you take me" I drank a little of the water that he'd given me

"I took you because you didn't deserve to live with those things" he said "and because I saw that you couldn't die and I figured that if I trained you. Then you would be the fearless and immortal warrior that we all need" 

"I don't want to be here, and I am leaving" I started to the door after getting out of the bed, but then I saw that he'd moved in-front of the door quickly, and he had his arms crossed defiantly. 

"Don't make me hurt you" I said "but then again I really do want to "I blasted him aside with a strong force of wind that even an elemental dragon couldn't get out of. Then I walked past him, but before I got to the door I turned around to his struggling figure. 

"You mess with flames, and you'll get burned" I said and touched the wall setting the place on fire. I wasn't worried about him getting burned, but I knew that he'd try to save everything that he could before he left. I walked through the hallway, and I let the wind die off, and setting him free. Then I got outside, and looked at the sky. The academy was near the belt of Orion, and I saw that it was south, so I ran all the way there. When I got there I waited for the wall to get shimmery again, and when it did I stepped through.

 I wasn't surprised when I saw that no one was out because it was almost twelve, and no one would be up at this time. I made my way to the Diamond apartment, and slowly went in. When I was in I saw that Alex was sleeping on the couch, and I heard everyone else breathing evenly, but heavily. I guessed that they still had their problems, so it had only been a day or so that I was gone. I went upstairs, with my speed and went to where me and Ashley sleep together at. Then I opened up the door slowly, and after a few creaks I stepped in and quietly closed the door. Then I went over to my bed and looked under it.

 I saw that it was still the way that it had been...bare and nice to sleep on. So I rolled under, and slept here for the second time, but this time I made sure that I couldn't be seen by Mike again. I didn't want to wake everyone up because if I did then the whole house would be a very annoying commotion, and I would've been 'interviewed' by almost everyone. Which would be very annoying, and so I let them sleep. It was hard though because I knew that almost everyone was thinking about me in their dreams. In fact as soon as I was about to fall asleep a loud scream echoed though out the room and I saw Ashley sit straight up quickly.

I guessed that even though she didn't like me, and probably saw me as a monster at the time, she still cared for me. I guessed that the way how she reacted to a bad dream it was about me, and then I felt light flood into the room and I quickly covered my eyes from it. Then I noticed that the lights were a florescent blue, and they didn't hurt my eyes like the yellow ones did, but I saw that Alex had gone up the stairs and almost knocked down the door to get in here. Then he went over to Ashley, and looked around before his expression went sad again.

"Did you have another nightmare about Valerie, Ashley" he said walking into the room. I noticed that no one else was coming here, so I must've been gone for more than two days for this to be normal for them. 

"Yeah" she said, and he pulled her into a hug "I don't get it. We were so mean to her when we found out, and he didn't even think about what she did for us. Even when she told us about what she'd done for us, and it's the same dream as last time. 

" I know Ash I know" he pulled out and held her shoulders "we will find her" 

"It's been two months!" Ashley yelled "and there is no trace of her at all" I just wanted to roll out right then, but I didn't yet. I wanted to see what happened to them, or the others while I was gone. 

"I know" Alex said "and when we find her I'm going to tell her sorry about everything" 

"It wasn't your fault that she was taken" Ashley said "you were just a little harsh, and so was hunter" so the guy that shot my with the crossbow was in the team...huh I thought. 

" We shot her with no emotion, and then when she was taken I realized what I had done wrong, and it almost tore the team apart" he said "I should've saved her, or at least tried" 

"Well if were up then we might as well make breakfast for the rest" Ashley said and got out of bed to go down stairs, and make food. After a little while of looking around the room, so did Alex. I guessed that I could get up too and watch them for a little while, so I made myself invisible to any type of sight and sound and went downstairs. They cooked everything that I could think of, it after they were done with dishes, and anything else that they had to clean up it was six in the morning. I saw him go upstairs, and I guessed by the numerous amounts of groans that sounded. He had turned on all of the lights, and waken everyone up the rude way. 

"Come on guys we have another mission to do" he said to everyone as he started to go down the hallway and the stairs "and this one if different" 

"Now what is it" Mike asked as he looked around, but he didn't see me and I was relieved. If he had seen me then he would have a reaction that definitely would've caught some attention, and then he would've pointed me out to everyone else. So my masking had worked, and I was happy with myself even though I was a little sad that I had to do this. I ate while they weren't looking, and that consisted of mainly eating a few waffles, and mini chocolate pancakes as I went. When they were all done, I went over with then to the table and listened to what they were saying since I wasn't invisible to touch, and I didn't want to be so I had to be careful in that faction. 

"So how different is this one" Shadow asked, and I saw that she and others had a-lot of gashes in their faces, arms, legs, and almost everywhere else on their body. As well as a couple of bruises here and there from practice I guessed. 

"This time he are going after the man that took...her and we are going to capture him and make him talk" Alex  said to them and then he explained the plan "we start tomorrow morning". Oh no I thought I have to stop them or help them before they get themselves killed. I didn't know what to do though because I couldn't just tie them all up and expect them to still be happy, or try to leave for that stupid dinosaur. I guess that I'll just have to go with them and help if they need it I thought, and I watched them do almost nothing the rest of that entire day. I was so bored that whole day, and I saw that they were too. Then he turned on the news to try and keep us occupied, and I saw that the academy had it's own news crew and today's story was about me. 

"There was a team dispatched to find the girl that was missing for two months, but the team didn't come back after a week" she said "the academy is banning anyone from going outside of the school grounds unless you are a higher ranking team trying to help fine her. We believe that this girl is the key to stopping everything, and helping the elemental's win the final battle of this years long war that we've been in--" he turned of the TV and I was shocked because if team emerald couldn't win against this thing then how would my team far against him. I made my choice I was going to help them even if it meant killing my own kind. 

The rest of the night was rather boring, they played monopoly for a couple of hours with me watching them amused. Then Alex called it for the night and I went upstairs as they started to pack up and go to bed. I quietly rolled under the bed, and I kept my ears open for any alarms and sounds that could be a wake up call. I fell into a peaceful and dreamless sleep for the night, and then the alarm blasted through the night breaking into my peaceful sleep. It was Ashley's alarm, and I noticed that she was still sleeping, how could she sleep through this thing. I rolled under the bed into the narrow section between the two beds and I turned off the alarm. Then I started to shake her, I knew that it might be a bad idea, but she had to get up. 

I hit her side in frustration, and she bolted up looking around to see who punched her. When she saw that no one was there she got out of bed and started to get ready. Just before I fell asleep I had healed everyone in the house of all their pain from scratches and bruises. I thought that doing this would help them, but they all were still lazy as ever. Even Alex and he's usually the first one up. I went downstairs and sat in a chair waiting for them to get up, and before they got downstairs I ate something small for the moment. So did they when Alex realized the time he was already getting people up period and ready to go because it was already 7 in the morning and they were still in bed, but not anymore. Everyone got downstairs in a minute ready to go and all good. I went outside quietly and using the back because if I used the front then they would notice and I wanted to cause less suspicion. I went around the house and quietly got on the top of the van, and when I was on top of it I braced myself to be going fast. 

It was rather warm out even though the mornings were usually the coldest times of the day. When they got out they all rushed to the car, and next thing I knew we were traveling very fast along the highway, and it was getting rather hard to hold onto the top of the vans bars. In fact I noticed that I had crushed on of the bars with my strength and I would have to fix it when we stopped. After a hour we got to a secluded part of the forest, and it looked like they were going right to the place that I was being held in. They were really good at tracking their team, and without a tracker too. 

They pulled into a dirt driveway, and I saw that the man was in the front of the driveway with his arms crossed and with the remains of team emerald laying around his house. He didn't even bother picking up the dead and at least getting rid of them or hiding them. He was a ruthless killer and a man that didn't care about what he did to others, and it made me wonder even more about why  he didn't do anything to me when he kidnapped me. They all got out of the car with their guns raised at him, and then Alex stepped out of the front along with his brother. I noticed that Hunter still had his crossbow, and Danny looked like nothing happened to him. 

"Put your hands up and tell us where you put Valerie" Alex said a little calm but on edge as he pointed his own gun at the man. 

"Now why would I do that" the man said, and I noticed that he knew that he didn't have me, but he wasn't about to let that show "she belongs with me, and I have no intention of letting her go. Even if it means that I would have to break her bones" he was still having the rather convincing mask up and if I hadn't been free, and it was someone else that he had. He would've been rather convincing, so I got off the back of the van and waited to see what they would do. Then I saw an arrow coming to the mans chest, but he caught it and snapped it in half with on hand. 

"Do you really think that this is going to stop me" he said holding up the broken arrow and looking at Hunter "I'm afraid that it is going to take more than an arrow to kill me. I am hundreds of years old, and I am very experienced with hunters" his eyes were glowing red with his anger. Then everyone started to shoot at him, and as thousands of rounds went to his none of them made contact. I saw that he had some type of force field around him to keep the wooden bullets from tearing apart his body. I had to admit, he was smart when it came to defense and preserving his life. 

"You actually used wooden bullets on me" he looked surprised "they weren't so smart using regular metal bullets on me. I made sure that they all had a quick death, but you aren't going to be so lucky" he didn't look happy, and then he started to shift. The transformation lasted about a second before there was a formidable and large strong red dragon standing in the mans place. They started to fire at him, but none of the bullets went through. He hit Shadow, Alex, and Ashley away with a hit of his paw, and they landed a long distance away from him unconscious and not moving. I started to get angry, and then I saw the others get hit away just as Hunter fired another arrow. It never made it to through the force field, but he still looked scared at how close it was to his face. 

My blood was close to boiling as he stalked to Alex, and I couldn't hold it in anymore. My anger came out as a roar of pain as I felt my body growing and shifting. My bones changed form and got bigger like the rest of my body. My skin turned to hard armor, and spikes grew out of my back as I got bigger. The transformation was complete in about three minutes, and I stood there I plain sight as a black, red, and grey dragon that towered over the red dragon the replaced the man. I was at least three times his size, and I was very mad. I roared in his face as I stalked to him slowly as the predator that I was. I saw that he was terrified of me,  and then I heard a voice in my head as he talked to me. 

Wow I honestly never thought that I would be fighting the great and powerful queen of the dragons he bowed at me and started to back up and then he got into a fighting stance well aren't you going to kill me. He jumped and I swiped him away with a single strike, he got up again and ran at me with full force. he hit my side with the force of an atomic bomb, but I wasn't affected by it at all. I just stood there as he sat there in shock rubbing his head. 

My turn I said and I used all of my speed I was circling him striking and scratching him, and my claws went through his scales like they were nothing. In about three seconds I chose that I had done enough to him, and I was right because when I walked in-front of him I saw that I had covered him in scratches. I saw that he was shaking as he looked at he in shock and pain. 

Do you surrender I asked

Never he said as he looked at me defiantly. I sighed and swiped my claws at his neck, and thee next thing he knew he didn't have a head. I felt more powerful, and an importance that I've never felt before. Then I looked at the red dragon's headless body, and his head that was frozen in a state of shock and nothingness. I opened the earth beneath the body and once it was about ten feet underground I bathed it in black fire for a couple of seconds. When I was done I had reduced the dragons whole body to ashes. and then I let the earth swallow the ashes of the red dragon's bones, flesh, and other things.

Then I looked at his head and decided to take it with me just to prove that he died by my hand. I walked to the others that were now slowly waking up, and I sat at the front of the van looking at Alex with the dragon's head at my feet. I was visible to everyone, and I planned on staying that way from now on.
