I watched Alex go to a van that was white and had a diamond on the sides of it, and then I saw then get into the van. I wasn't comfortable in it because it felt like I was back in the dungeon again with all of those other women. Then I felt the van hit a stop after being in the back sitting of the benches on the sides for a long while, and I opened the door immediately and fell out of the van and onto the grass and ground. I stayed there for a short second before getting up again and brushing myself off. The others were looking at me like I was crazy...even Alex was turned around from the seat in the front. 

"I have a bad past" I said to them and they all averted their eyes and stepped out of the back, and then I saw a bullet going to Ashley's head. I didn't think I just reacted, and I stepped in-front of her causing it to go deep into my chest. Even though I was only sixteen I has still taller than most of the people here by at least three inches. All except for Alex that is. I fell over in pain as Ashley ducked and then saw me on the floor in pain. Then I felt her touch me, and I had my eyes closed because of my anger. I was very angry that they tried to shoot my team mate in secret. I felt them try to lift me up, but I waved them away and got up on my own. I felt my shirt going wet from blood, and I walked to the van and lifted up the front of my shirt just enough to reveal the bullet wound. Then I did the most painful part, I magnetized and the bullet flew out of my wound, and sadly so did more blood and this time it was a dark black color. 

"Why are you bleeding black" Mike said "why are you bleeding black blood" 

" I'll tell you later, but now I am very mad" I said to him, and I opened my eyes. Yeah I did that all with closed eyes and it wasn't hard honestly...for me. I saw everything with a black tint, and I guessed that my eyes were entirely black at the time. I got up and then I went faster than I had ever gone before. I went to every guards post and before they knew what had happened they didn't have a head anymore, but the last one I slit his throat because he was the one that was shot me and was still shooting. As soon as his throat was opened he stopped firing, and fell to the floor looking at me and clutching his throat at the same time. Then I waited, and when they didn't come I shot the ground by them twice and threw the man out the window. He landed on the floor with a crash, and I saw them finally come out from hiding from behind the truck. Then I ripped of the mounted gun, tore it in half, and also threw it out the window. Then I sat in the chair looking out the window and waiting for then to either come and get me or for them to leave. I saw a large dust cloud in the distance, and I heard two shots after one car exploded. 

I didn't feel any pity for those men when the earth swallowed them and buried them in their cars...alive. I was very angry, but I jumped out of the tower that I was in and appeared at Mike an Light's sides. I saw that Mike was shot in the shoulder, but Light, sadly, was shot in the heart and died instantly. I magnetized the bullet out of Mike's unconscious body and healed the bullet wound, and then I used the earth to pick him up and bring him to the back of the van on the floor sleeping, and I did the same thing for Light except I made her a pretty coffin and put her in it before putting her into the van. Then I got into the van and waited for them to get him, but then I heard a yell as I was starting to sleep.

I was already up and moving to the place, and when I got inside of the building I saw that they were trying to hold in the blood on some persons chest wound. I went over and looked at them. 

"What happened guys" I asked

"He just came out of no where and shot him" John said then added pointing to the guy dead on the floor across the hall "we've already killed him though"

"Can you help him" Alex looked up at me crying I nodded, and motioned for them to move away a little. 

"I am going to need something to catch the bullet while I do this" I said 'does anyone have metal powers here other than me" I said, and Gabe nodded " good I need you to come here and quickly come here and take out this bullet, but only using your powers" I said, and he lifted his hand above Alex's brother's hands, and I swear that I saw the magnetization but I dismissed it. 

"It will hurt a little when it hits your hand by the way" I said...too late the bullet came into his hand with a loud slap, and he pulled his hand away and walked away holding his hand swearing. I quickly put my hand against his wound and I looked into his body to see if there was any internal damage before I sealed the wound. I didn't see anything, so I healed the wound and his breathing went even, and then I went over to Gabe and healed his hand too. 

"You could've warned me first" he said making me laugh a little 

"I have a little news" I said after I was done with Gabe, and they all turned to me "Light died defending you guys from the others that were coming, but they are buried and I had to heal Mike" I looked at them, but didn't want to look them in the eyes because I know that they were going to be sad. So I then went back outside and waited for them in the van, and I noticed that they were doing the grief walk. Or walking so slow that even a snail could beat them just because of their losses. When they got to the van I was almost half asleep, and I was wide awake as Alex and the others got in the back. 

"Valerie" Alex said turning to me "why did your eyes turn a solid black color...only Dragons have that eyes color" I looked away from him not wanting to answer " and you said that if I...we saw something out of the ordinary then you would tell us everything after this" I sighed because I knew that if I didn't answer him here then I would have to tell them back at the academy, and there it wasn't a safer place to tell them. 

"Okay, so a couple of years ago...before I got here in a time and space skip" I said "I was whipped by the person that I had been bought by, and the whip was made of dragon claws" I looked at their faces as I showed them the many scars on my back, and then Alex and John pulled out guns and pointed them at me. Maybe it wasn't a good idea I thought to myself, and then I lifted up my hands as they came forward and had me step out of the van. 

"Come on guys" I said "I told you guys the truth and this is what you do. I have saved all of you guys at least once, and with no thank you even. I didn't kill you earlier, but instead all of the guys that would've and did succeed in killing one of you and almost three if I hadn't been there to help. I'd done all of that and this is what I get" I scoffed and gripped my head turning around and trying to suppress my anger. I looked at them when I was calmed down, and all I saw were the stubborn faces of soldiers, and everyone else had their guns out, but they were thinking about what I had just said...they all were but didn't show it. 

"I know what you've done for us, but--" Alex started "but you are a monster, and even if you haven't had your first shift yet you are still dangerous. That is proof of it" he pointed to the dead base that I had taken down by myself "I can't let you shift and kill many innocent people...but I also can't just kill you for saving us. So unless you are going to do something about it...I want you gone. Forever" I was shocked, but I didn't move from my position instead I went to his gun and got on my knees in-front of him.

"I-I can't do it" I said "being at this place was the only good thing that I'v had in many years, and unless you are going to kill me right here. I am going with you, and you can't stop me. I want to have what you guys have, a nice long life not having to worry about anything except for dragons. I would tell the dragons to stay away, and we all could have a nice life with no problems and living in peace" I looked at him with the gun pointed at my head.

"If you aren't going to shoot me then please let me go with you, and if you are" I started "then I am no more to you than a disease that needs to be ridden of" 

"I'm sorry" he whispered, and I couldn't believe it because when he pulled the trigger I had a little time to think about the betrayal and hurt that he had given me before the bullet slammed into my skull. I could've gotten up and killed them all in the time that it took the bullet to reach the ground, but I didn't because I was doing the only good thing in my life that would, or could actually matter. Then I felt nothing no pain, no happiness, and no other emotions as I felt the bullet go through my head and out the other side. The pain and nothingness lasted for about a second, and I just sat there blinking. Then I felt something else hit my back, and this one also had no effect except for staying lodged in the middle of my chest. I looked at it still blinking in disbelief...Why wasn't I dead. I reached down at the arrow and snapped the shaft of it, and then I painfully and slowly pulled the wooden thing out of my chest. After I was done I looked at Alex, but I couldn't say anything because we both were thinking the same thing at the moment. Why wasn't I dead. I looked around to see who had fired the arrow, and I saw a man with a crossbow looking at me in disbelief with his mouth wide open. 

"How are you not dead" he said as he started to walk up, the others couldn't even react because of their shock "that was a head wound and a wooden arrow, and wood kills dragons. I don't understand why you didn't kill them as he shot that bullet into your head because for all I know, and I've been hunting dragons for my entire life here. You could've killed them before that bullet even reached halfway to the ground, and as for my arrow dragons can't even touch wood let alone survive a heart wound dealt by something by it. So how in hell are you still alive" 

"I don't know, and I know that I could've killed them before the bullet hit me but I didn't" I said standing. The shock that I had was killed when that guys exploded in questions. 

"If what he says is true" Alex started "why didn't you kill us, and tell the truth" 

"I didn't kill you because you are like a stubborn, but kind family that I never had until now" I said looking into his eyes "and how did you know that I was a dragon" I looked at the man. Who was now scratching his head in nervousness. 

"I figured it out after I saw the scars, and him point a gun at you" he said, and I was surprised that he was the nervous type "so you haven't shifted yet" I shook my head no "good because if you had, and can't be killed then the world would be in trouble" I think that almost everyone shuddered except for Mike...who was still knocked out cold in the back of the truck. Even through the sound of a gunshot...like it was an everyday thing that happens to him. 

"When do you think she'll shift" Alex asked worried about something

"I don't know" he said "it depends on how old she is" 

"Um about that" I started "I'm not really from this century, but I would be only sixteen if you don't count the other hundred years that I time skipped" I looked at his shocked face. 

"You are not a hundred and sixteen years old" he said 

"I was a slave in the modern times, and then I met a ghost that eventually made me time skip to this time" I said wondering were Jack was. 

"Well then in that case very, very soon" he said darkly

"Great" I said "if you had to guess how long when would it be" I looked at him expectantly

"If I had to guess it would be in-between this and next week unless your body is going by the age of sixteen, and that would still be between two and three weeks" he said looking at me with a bad look. 

"Well lets hope that it is when we have our next mission because you are coming back with us" Alex said "though we might be wary of you for a little while, and no one is going to speak of this to anyone at the academy capiche" he said looking at the rest of our team. 

"I hope so too" I said "and when it happens I want you all do hide yourselves very good because I don't know if I will be able to contain myself, and turn against you" I went over to the truck and sat in the seat, and Ashley and Shadow moved away from me a little. I felt alone, and unwanted again and it made me sad and hurt a little but I understood why they didn't want to be with me. After Alex talked to the man a little, and they went off in different directions. Alex looked at his brother that was in the passenger seat before he started to drive off the van. Then he reached to the radio that he had clipped to the outside of his pants. 

"Mission accomplished" he said "team Diamond has recoved my brother, but it came with a price." The radio went static for a second as he struggled to keep his emotions intact "Light was killed defending the team from reinforcements"

"I'm sorry for your team's loss, and I hope that Danny is okay" it was the principal talking through the radio "and you were radio-silent for too long. I was about to have team emerald come and get you guys" Alex laughed a little

"There was no need for that Mrs. Cover" he said "and I apologize about staying silent for so long. It won't happen again" so her name was Mrs. Cover...interesting I thought to myself. I went to the front and looked out the wind shield, and I saw a glint a little was away from us. It was standing in the middle of the road, and then I saw a straight trail of fire and smoke as a rocket came to us. 

"Watch out!" I yelled, but it was too late. The rocket hit the front of the car, and the next thing I knew we were flipping backward in the air. We landed on the ground in a loud crash...upside down. I looked around, and I saw that everyone was groaning, but I was trapped by the underside of the van folding over my foot. I was stunned, but I still heard the footsteps heading in this direction. 

"Well I really didn't want to do that to these humans, but I feared that you wouldn't have been a very easy catch" a mans voice said from the outside of the van. Then the van's back doors were ripped off and light poured into the van. I was blinded for a second as the man stepped into the van and looked around. I saw Shadow try and reach for her gun, but couldn't reach it as he picked up all of the guns and threw them out of the vans doors. Then he made his way over to me, and started to free my leg. When he was done he dragged my by the arms out of the van, and set me on the floor. 

"It's really amazing what single rocket can do to the most armored of vehicles" he said as he picked me up and put me on his shoulder "I never wanted to take you like this, but like I said...it was the only way" I was barely hearing what he was saying as I looked up through the window of the front of the van, and at Alex's struggling body. I smiled because he really wasn't the one to leave anyone behind without a fight, but he was struggling with his seat belt screaming.  

"No! No I am not losing another person" he reached for his gun seeing that it was too late, bet he stopped when he saw me shaking my head at him. I smiled at him one last time before going unconscious right as the man dumped me into the back of his vehicle. 

Sorry guys that i haven't updated in a couple of weeks, but thanks for reading (if you did) and I'll leave it here until I get the next chapter out. Sorry, but if has to end at a cliffhanger for now.
