Hellooooo guys! Sorry it's been a while since my last update... internet decided to be a butt to me for a week =_= Anyways, hope you enjoy! :).

--Reader-Chan's P.O.V--
After the whole ordeal with Naruto , I checked the time and decided to go the long route home. Halfway home I saw my old village.Or, at least what was left of it. I was told that a fire had started in that part of Konoha, but no one knew why. I always try to remember but the memory just wasn't there. I realized I had been standing there for a while so I began walking away, my mind blank.
--Small timeskip to the apartment--
I opened the door and was met with a small figure tackling me to the ground and licking my face.
"Oh no , you got me!" I playfully said. "Alright boy, off, ya silly dog." I got him off of me and went to the kitchen.
"You're hungry aren't you Mercury?" I asked. I looked over to the silver and white dog and he answered with a small bark, so I assumed it was a yes. I made us both dinner and then went off to bed. I fell asleep in my clothes but I was so tired I didn't really notice.
--Dream world--
I was walking on a a smooth glass-like surface with nothing else for miles. I kept walking forward for what seemed like hours. After a while of walking I heard a firm voice.
"Hello, child" it said. I froze on the spot as I felt a warm breeze blow through my hair. I slowly turned around and saw-

"Hey, (Y/N) wake up!" A voice whisper-shouted in my ear. I ignored it until the person started poking my cheek. My eyes shot open and my reflexes kicked in and I sent the figure flying to the wall. I quickly turned on the lights and saw...
"Naruto?!" I groaned. "How the heck did you get in my house?"
"The window was left open..." he said, chuckling nervously.
"*sigh* what do you want?" I asked.
"Just, come on!" He said excitedly, while pulling my arm.
"Alright, alright, let me grab something though." I said. I quickly grabbed my pouch and jacket then went back to Naruto. We both jumped out the window and I started following him.
Why does he have to wake me up at the ass-crack of dawn? I thought miserably. He eventually led me to a forest when he took off the large scroll that was on his back.
How did I not notice that?! I questioned myself. "Uh.... what are we supposed  to do with that?"I asked, pointing to the now unrolled scroll.
"Oh, Mizuki-sensei said if I learn a jutsu from this scroll I'll be able to pass the academy!" He explained. I was a bit skeptical, but went along with it.

---Meanwhile, back in the village---
--3rd person--
"The scroll has been taken!" One ninja shouted.
"Everyone search around the village!" Another ordered.
"Someone go alert Iruka!" Another shouted.
--Iruka's P.O.V--
I was soundly sleeping when someone walked in and what me up.
"Hmmm?" I hummed questionably.
"Iruka, it's the Scroll of Seals it's gone!" The man said.
"What?!" I exclaimed, now fully awake.
"It's... it's Naruto and (Y/N).... they've taken it" he panted. I quickly put on my headband and uniform and went out to find them.
--Small timeskip to when Iruka finds them--
--Reader-chains P.O.V--
I was kneeling on the ground, panting for breath. I looked up at Naruto who looked up at me and we both grinned at each other.
"It's all over " a familiar voice said. We both stood up and looked to the source of the voice. It was none other than Iruka. Mercury barked happily and Naruto said... or shouted. I honestly can't tell anymore,
"Hehehehehehe" he giggled
"Huh?" Iruka said
"Got me already, not bad , you're quick sensei!" He said.
"Yeah, we only had time to learn one technique" I said, slightly panting.
--Iruka's P.O.V--
They've been out here practicing. I can see how hard they've been working. I thought.
"Listen Iruka-sensei!" Naruto exclaimed "I'm gonna show you this amazing jutsu, then you're gonna let me graduate, then everything will be okay! That's the way it works right? Anyone who learns a jutsu from this scroll passes!" My eyes widened and I quickly looked over to (Y/N) who said,
"I'm only here because he literally dragged me to do this"
"Huh?! Where'd you get that idea?" I questioned.
"Mizuki-sensei told me about it, believe it! He told me where to find the scroll and this place..." at the last part he trailed off.
Huh? Mizuki?
--Reader-Chan's P.O.V--
Iruka looked stunned for a moment when Kunai I came flying towards us.
"Look out!" Iruka yelled, pushing us away and taking the hit. One grazed my cheek, but I was more concerned for Iruka, who now had a kunai stuck in his knee and arm, while others just left cuts, all of them oozing out blood, the crimson liquid staining his clothes.
"Iruka sensei!" I yelled.
"Don't worry, I'm fine" he grunted while pulling out the kunai that were lodged in his body. We all looked up at the direction the kunai came from and we all see a smirking Mizuki crouching on a near tree branch.(Like a creeper)
"Mizuki, why?" Iruka asked, hurt clear in his voice.(Mizuki goes through the whole 'I want power' a speech that I'm not writing because I'm lazy) Mizuki then looked at Naruto and I and said,
"Have you ever wondered why you were always looked down upon, treated like outcasts?"
"You're not going to say what I think you are!" Iruka said, panic slightly showing on his face.
"Oh, I'm definitely going to tell them" he said, a sickening smile plastered on his face.
"You can't! It's forbidden!" Iruka shouted.
"Oh please, he would do anything to shut me up right now" he said. He paused for a moment and then continued, " because he hates both of you" he said. Me and Naruto both looked at each other confused and then Iruka, then back to Mizuki." Do you want to know why he hates you? Because you, Naruto, you have the nine-tailed fox demon inside of you! And (Y/N), you have the eight-tailed dragon demon inside you!" He exclaimed. I then felt a sharp pain inside my head, and memories came flooding back.
--Flashback to the beginning of the story where we left off--
My knees were wobbling from fear, but I walked towards the sound anyway. As I walked through the bushes, I soon came to a large clearing in the forest. When my eyes adjusted to the light, what I saw almost made me scream. Two huge butter-yellow eyes with slits for pupils, dark and light blue scales, ginormous teeth and claws, wings, and the weirdest of all, it had eight tails. I backed up a bit in fear, but I got a better look at the thing. I finally recognized it as a dragon. That really threw a shiver down my spine. Dragons went extinct eons ago, and the tailed beasts were just legends. I slowly walked closer to it, it's big yellow eyes staring unblinkingly at me. I soon got close enough to notice it had a wounded paw (or claw, I honestly don't know what it's called). I cautiously stepped closer to the wounded limb, and looked at it. I can't do anything... I have no bandages or medical experience. I thought. As I continued thinking, I didn't notice that another person had walked into the clearing. That is until they spoke.
"Hello little girl. And what would you be doing here with that monster?" He said. I turned around and saw an ANBU Black Op.
"N-no reason" I stuttered. He clearly looked unconvinced.
"Is that so?" He said sarcastically. "Well I think I just found a perfect capsule for the demon behind you." He said. He then grabbed my arm, but not in the harsh way, and laid me on the ground. He then told me to stay still. He did certain hand signs, and the demon disappeared. Markings soon showed up on my stomach, and it hurt like hell! I bit on my lip to prevent me from screaming. He then did more hand signs, then placed his hands on my head. My mind went blank and everything went black.
--End of flashback--
I clutched my head, the memories were too much, but the pain was slowly ebbing away.
"Ah, so the memory jutsu worn off at last" Mizuki smirked. "But that is why he despises you. The fox had killed his family and the dragon brought fire to the Fyuu clan, where his closest friends had lived." He explained.
"That's not true!" Iruka sensei shouted.
"And this is coming from someone who kept secrets from them" he sneered. "Now Naruto, give me the scroll" he commanded.
"No! Don't! He only wants to use it for himself! Naruto, give me the scroll!" Iruka said.
I looked over to Naruto worriedly, and saw him clutching the scroll with his head shaking.
"Nonononononono!" He shouted, then ran off with the scroll. I shot a glare at both of them then ran off with him.
--Mini-time skip--
After hearing Iruka say that we weren't monsters I immediately reared up. Until Mizuki was about to attack him. Me and Naruto both jumped out and blocked him and put on deadly glares.
"If you ever lay a hand on our senses again," Naruto growled.
"I'll freaking kill you!" I finished.
"You got that?!" We shouted.
"Oh yeah?! Then let's see what you got fox and dragon!" He taunted.
"Alright!" Naruto shouted. "Shadow clone jutsu!" He made the hand signs and a hoard of Narutos appeared.
"My turn! Shadow clone jutsu!" I did the same hand signs and copies of me appears in a puff of smoke.
"Are you ready?..." me and my clones shouted.
"To face all of us?!" The Narutos shouted. Mizuki had fear written all over his face. He screamed like a coward, and we attacked. After the fight, Mizuki was not looking good at all.
"Hehehe, sorry I think we went a bit overboard" Naruto laughed, rubbing the back of his neck in embarrassment.
"No, we definitely went overboard" I giggled. At this, everyone laughed.
--Timeskip--
"Okay, you can open your eyes now" Iruka said. Naruto opened his eyes and saw that Iruka wasn't wearing the leaf headband. "Congratulations, you passed!" He said. Naruto teared up and was quite literally jumping with joy.
"Naruto, you passed! I knew you would!" I exclaimed. I then immediately pulled him into a hug. He hugged back and when I finally let go Iruka said,
"Why don't we get some Ichiraku's ramen? My treat!"
We both jumped up, fisting the air yelling, "Yeah!" And we all walked to get ramen, completely happy.
