Flames
When Blaria reached Farringston the city was burned to a blackened crisp. Fiorelix, who had been walking when they entered the town, felt the change in Blaria's sport before she saw it.
"Easy girl," Blaria said uneasily, "you can stop now."
Blaria slipped off Fiorelix's back and onto the charred ground. As she stared into the dark abyss a flood of memories washed over Blaria...

The scorching hot flames burned all around Blaria as she struggled to find her way out of the smoke and flames, she screamed. When her brother came she saw the hot flames nearing her position. Although Renald was only 16 he looked after his little sister like a hawk. He scooped Blaria up in his arms and ran from the burning house.
When he exited he instantly set Blaria on the solid ground and spoke to her, "run into the woods and hide."
When Blaria hesitated he shoved her toward the thick forest when Blaria reached the edge of the woods she turned around and saw her brother being grabbed by two dark armored men, he tried to get away but the men's grips were firm.
Blaria felt hot tears sting her eyes as she watched helplessly as her brother was taken away. She didn't know why these men wanted him or why they had set fire to her home, but she knew they had taken her brother and she didn't like that.
The last time Blaria saw her family was when they were being taken away by the Soranors she wanted to run out to her family and take them back, but she was too scared.
