Darkflame's Story
Hello, my name is Darkflame, a dark fire dragon in the world of Dragon City. At where I lived now, is four, no, seven floating islands instead of an enormous dark habitat.
I will tell you about my story, instead of ripping something to pieces. In my birthplace, it is dark and gloomy, but that's what dark dragons like.
I was young, about two or three years old. I was one of the best candidates to become the next leader. I had many rivals, but none as fierce as another dark fire dragon, Rage.
Rage was the leader's son, so he expected himself to become the next leader. However, it was obvious that the leader preferred me over his son.
Rage decided to take me somewhere that I don't know about. One day, he brought me to a portal.
He promised that there were candy and sweets on the other side of the portal. Having to eat candy that time was very rare, and he knew that I loved candy.
Plus, I was young and naive, so I didn't have second thoughts. I went into the portal. I arrived in a barren wasteland.
No candy. The portal behind me had disappeared the moment I stepped on the other side. I was confused, and hungry. I didn't eat anything since the previous day.
I wandered around. The light from the sun was weakening me by the moment. Finally, I collapsed. My entire body ached with tiredness.
As I began to fall in a deep sleep, I saw a human, wearing a yellow shirt, carrying me gently to a different coloured portal.
When I woke up, I found myself in a room with white walls. Looking around, I saw a white box with a red plus sign.
"Where am I?" I mumbled. "You passed out," someone replied softly. I opened my eyes fully and saw the same person I saw before I passed out.
"What's your name?" she asked. "Darkflame," I replied. She bent down and carried me to a dark habitat where a dark dragon was resting.
"My name is Ten and that is Spiky," she introduced, gesturing to the dark dragon who studied me curiously.
"Welcome to my islands!" she exclaimed excitedly. "I want to go home," I growled. Ten's face fell and she replied, "You can't. The portal you took is a one way portal. It is impossible to for you to go home unless your home portal opened up, which is highly unlikely."
I stomped my foot furiously. At that moment all my naive thoughts disappeared and I snarled, "That useless excuse for a dragon!"
"I will help you get home, but it will take a long time," she said. I sighed and nodded. "Enjoy yourself here for the time being," Ten said cheerfully, walking away.

Now, back to the present, I enjoy myself here, although I was not chosen to fight in leagues. I would constantly wonder how Rage is doing, if he became leader.
My new home is better than my old one, I must admit. No more endless rivalries. I grew stronger and one day, I had vowed, I will defeat Rage and show him that I am a better dragon than him.
