Present Day, Today
Though many years seem to have past and the sadness still burdens me. I still continue to make my day as if it were my very last. Leamion was dead and I vowed to never use my magic again, but I still keep his memory living on inside my head. But I still keep a smile planted on my face.
Town after endless towns I walk though them and wonder about until the sun disappears with its shining rays. And as dusk falls I head out to the next town. A cycle that has for years just repeated it's self. Yet today sadly marked the third day that I have yet to see any civilization, today seem to be the day that the cycle has ended.
The world turns slowly as eventually I walk into a town. The town's name was Magnolia, a quiet little city as I enter the stillwater town. While I begin to walk into the town, I can see clearly I was wrong.
I then notice that there are posters and signs are scattered everywhere, from corner to corner there is a sign. From block to block there were flyers. I guess I could say curiosity got to me, picking one of the many flyers I read it.
"Fantisha Parade?" I questionably ask myself.
Throwing the flyer in the nearby trashcan I continue to wonder about the crowded town. Glaring around I try to look for a food stand to get some grub. But sadly time continues to move forward. Tick, tick, tick and half an hour goes by like a snap of the fingers, and yet not a single stand is selling food. The closest thing that there is, may only be the leaves that might have fallen into the crates. And yet that still isn't a meal. The clouds surround the city and my hope seems to have faded.
"Hey what are those?" A middle aged man says pointing to the sky.
Like an idiot I look into the sky and see what the man was looking at. Notably, I think that was the best thing I done.
From the shining of the metal and the sun's blinding rays, my vision was unresponsive and my nerves become shot. But with my feet buried in the ground I sense the magic energy radiating off from it. Glimmering sun rays die down and shine of the metal eradicates, allowing me the capturing image in the heavens.
"Lacrima's...."
"What'd you say?" The man asks me.
"Nothing, I think they maybe fireworks."
"Hmm, yeah they kinda do."
"I gotta go."
With that I leave the scene and put my hood up. Often I look up and I just stare at them. The image of them all and what they can do sticks to me like a gunshot in the in my heart. Immediately my pace speeds up and I try to leave the city, but I don't know the layout and I begin to get lost. I look up and I notice I'm at a cathedral and the air begins to thicken. The humidity rises in air and a bolt of lightning hits the cathedral, the next thing I know everything turns white.
Seconds pass and infinite hues of colors fill my (e\c) eyes. As shapes fill in I hear people going at it. My vision then becomes clear and I look up in shock. The boy I met when I was younger is right before me. Tears stream down my face and some of my powers slip from my grasp. Solid stone slabs turn into a field of grass growing single flowers randomly.
"Natsu!!!"
Shooting my eyes open in an instant I glare at Natsu and notice him fighting another dragon slayer. My thoughts scatter in confusion as the fight now begins to start. My anger builds up and rage courses through me. But the sight of fight makes my emotions run haywire. Not knowing whether I want him to win or lose, plays with with my mind like playing an fiddle.
With a strike of thunder by the lightning slayer, Natsu goes down for the count. The green petals of flowers grow larger in size and my anger begins to build.
"I can't take this anymore." I growl.
Walking away I don't look back, some tears fall from my cheeks and cascade to the ground. But with every step I take the tile stone changes to endless flora. My tears and anger mix around and I glare up at the sky. Astonishment catches my sight as the lacrima's are disintegrated. How could they all be destroyed you think, it's impossible. Thoughts, ideas and plans fill your brain in utter curiosity.
Your brain begins to ponder and colourful aura sunset suddenly decreases. Admission plays with your day, admitting it was a stressful one. Seeing Natsu and the burning images of Dad tease you, toying your emotions. It could drive one to drink.
Leaving the scene you count the amount of jewels you have in your pockets. Hoping is the only thing you want for today. Officially counted you have enough for a night at a hotel. But that is only for a night. Walking to a close hotel you find one on a street that seems to be setting up for the festival. The hotel, the name was funky, strange to mostly all.
"The Growling Carriage.... What the?"
I walk in and to my surprise it's much fancier on the inside. White blinds cover the windows with a teal rug cloaking the large room. A glass chandelier hangs from the ceiling and you begin to doubt you could afford this place. I begin to leave and the receptionist calls me over.
"My boy, do you wanna a nice place to sleep?" The old creepy set women asks.
"Yeah, but this seems a bit expensive, but thanks for the offer."
"Your in luck then."
Few inches from the door the 80 year old captures my interest. Turning around to face her I raise an eyebrow.
"For what?"
"We have a special today for the Harvest Festival. Every room is a 2,000 Jewels."
"Your joking right, there's no way." I scoff immediately.
"No my boy, it's special. So do you want a room?" The women asks holding a golden key.
"You make a great bargainer, deal."
Walking to the quarts stoned desk I place the rest of my money on the counter, exchanging it for a key. Receiving a cocky look from the women I jog up the steps with grin on my face. For an elder she is cunning.
Just looking around is still an amusing sight. Gold, white and many other hues fill your (e\c) eyes if I haven't had a rough day today then I would think it would be wonderful. Those images still haunt me but I can't let them bring me down. And then I notice the room numbers, 503, 504, and 505. I found my room.
Groggily dragging my feet across the nicely placed rug I walk into my room and set my stuff down. Not even 10 minutes later I hit the sack and I'm out like a light. But then I wake up to something I wouldn't think would happen.
