(y/n) POV

Its been six weeks since Mom was kidnapped, the cops arrested Adam, I took Mom to the hospital to make sure she was alright. In the end she made it out with a few scrapes and bruises, and a mild concussion, but alright. 

"Bye kids I'm off!" Mom said as she walked out the door, "BE CAREFUL MOM!" I yelled as I read my book, "I WILL!" She yelled back.

SEVERAL HOURS LATER

"I'm home." Mom said exhaustedly, "So how'd it go?" I asked as I finished my book, "Have you been here all day?" She asked, "What time is it?" I asked, "Eleven fifty eight." She said, "Then yes, yes I have." I said, "Whatcha readen hun? Whatever it is has to be good to have you this engrossed." She said, "War in Peace, I... I read it for Sky. Yeah she said I needed to be more "intellectual" whatever that means." I said, "Well my day was a complete disaster thanks for asking honey." She said, "Wanna talk about it?" I asked, "Well first Blake... well  Blake was Blake, Ruby and Weiss ran off somewhere to do who knows where until the end when we all got shot with some weird dust gun!" She complained, "So you all got dusted and now you're mad at Aunt Ruby and Weiss?" I asked, "Pretty much." She said, "Ok well why not go to bed, you'll feel better in the morning." I said.

The next morning I was still reading my damn book, "(Y/N)!!" Mom shouted as she sprinted downstairs.

 "Morning Mom, your looking pretty FOXy this morning, did you do something with your hair?" I said, "What do you hold the monopoly on fox puns?" I said, "No I'm your mother and you will not make jokes at my expense." She said, "YANG!" Weiss yelled as she kicked the door in, "NOT MY DOOR!" I yelled, "Oh good it happened to you too." She said, "My door... it was innocent." I said as I held the remnants of the front door before looking at Weiss and the Aunt Ruby. 

I broke out laughing, "SHUT UP!" Weiss yelled, "Ok ok, Aunt Ruby don't eat that." I said as I wiped away some tears and took Aunt Ruby's cookie away, "I'LL KILL YOU!" Aunt ruby shouted as she tried to cut my head off with Crescent Rose, "WOW! Relax or do you want to die?!" I asked, "Explain boy!" She said, "First of all call me boy again and I tell Roxy where you hide all your cookies, and two your a dog faunus now apparently, that means mo more chocolate." I said, "But all my cookies..." She said sadly.

Later that morning the rest of the team saw their mothers as faunus except for sky since Blake stayed the same somehow. "So Mom looks like your bark really is worse than your bite." Blair said, "I guess you really were a pus..." Will began to say, "Willie if you make that joke I will bend you over my knee and spank you until your crying yourself to sleep from the memory of what I did to you!" Weiss said angrily, "Sorry Mommy." He said, "And I did it. Looks like your DNA got all scrambled causing the human DNA to mutate and become faunus DNA." I said, "That's great hon, but please tell me this isn't permanent." Mom said, "It's not the effects should ware off...eventually." I said, "What do you mean eventually?" She asked, "Well the dust was an experimental fusion dust being manufactured by Schnee Dust Company. I had to hack into their private servers just to get what little info I have!" I said, "Ok ok how long will it be?" She asked, "Maybe a week, a month at the most." I said.

One month later

"YOUR A LIRE (Y/N) XAIO LONG!" Aunt Ruby yelled angrily, "I'M SORRY!" I yelled as I drove off.
