(y/n) POV

"MOM! WAKE UP MOM!" I yelled as I jumped on top of my sleeping mother, "(y/n) it's too early for this." Mom said groggily, "Yang get up!" Aunt Blake yelled as she hit mom with one of her pillows, "BLAKE?! Your not supposed to be here till this afternoon." Mom said, "IT'S TWO THIRTY!" Aunt Blake yelled, "Oh." Mom said, "Mom can we go train now?!" I asked excitedly, "What? When did I say you could start your training?" She asked, "Last night, you said "(y/n) tomorrow I...I'm gonna start training you to be a brawler like me." and then you threw up in the corner." I said, "Honey when Mommy's drunk and makes a promise it's not gonna happen." She said as she ruffled my hair, "BUT MOM!" I complained, "But nothing young man I'm not training you until your at least ten!" She said, "I'll train you then (y/n)." Aunt Blake said, "REALLY?!" I asked excitedly, "Yep and I'll train you with whatever weapon you want." She said.

"Alright (y/n) let's get started." Aunt Blake said as I tried to ready my weapon.

"I told you it would be too heavy for you use." She said as she took the sword and gave me a pair of short swords.

For years I trained with my aunt until my grandmother took over my training behind Mom's back.

"Grandma why cant I tell Mom that your training me?" I asked, "One call me grandma again and I'll dangle you over a pit of deathclaws so just call me Raven, and two because your mother and I don't get along it's just better this way." Raven said, "Ok, but Mom's been asking why I've been coming home with more cuts and bruises than usual." I said, "Just lie to her." She said as she drew her sword and I drew my swords.

"Mom I'm home!" I said as I entered the house, "YOUR IN BIG TROUBLE YOUNG MAN!" Mom yelled angrily, "Blake called me and told me about how you stopped training with her to go train with your grandmother!" She said angrily, "Oh calm down Yang, I'm just ensuring my grandson will be strong. And if he can survive training with me, well he can survive practically anything." Raven said, "HE'S SEVEN MOM!" Mom yelled, "M...Mom I like training with Raven, she taught me so much in such a short time!" I said, "I don't wanna hear it! Now go to your room!" She yelled, "NO!" I yelled, "What?!" Mom said angrily, "I said no, you cant stop me from training with Raven and you cant make me go to my room." I said. 

"What happened to you?" Sky asked as I took my seat on the bus, "I talked back to my mom and she slapped me." I said as the bus drove us to Signal.
