(y/n) POV

"LATER MOM!" I yelled as I ran out of the house and hopped on my motorcycle.

"BE CAREFUL!" Mom yelled as I drove off leaving a green streak of light behind me.

After driving for twenty minutes I finally arrived at Beacon. "Your late." Aunt Ruby said as I got off my bike, "Not yet I'm not!" I said as I sprinted towards the auditorium.

"Your late." Sky said as I entered the auditorium. "Hello everyone I'm Oscar Pine headmaster of this fine academy. But when I look around this room all I see is wasted potential, you believe knowledge will free you from your weakness, you believe strength will drown out your short comings, but you are wrong. But with our help you will become hunters." Oscar said and then walked away.

"So tomorrow we get assigned to our teams." I said as I lied down next to Sky, "Yep, wanna try to find each other?" Sky asked, "Sure, but look how that turned out for my aunt Ruby." I said, "True, but it worked out in the end right." She said, "I guess, I mean defiantly for my mom, yours ehh that's still up in the air." I said, "Oh ok so were playing that game then. October 21 eight years ago." She said, "HEY WE'RE NOT ALOUD TO TALK ABOUT THAT!" I said, "You set Weiss's hear on fire twelve times!" She said, "And I'll do it again too." I said, there was a brief awkward silence until we both broke out laughing, "Well we better get some sleep." I said, "Yeah see you in the morning." She said as we went to sleep.

The next morning we went to Beacon cliff for our initiation. Little did I know Aunt Ruby would be launching us off a cliff! "Aunt Ruby." I said, "Yes dear nephew?" Aunt Ruby said, "Don't you do it." I said, "Bye (y/n)." She said as she launched me off the cliff, "I HATE YOU!!!" I yelled as I flew off into the distance. "Love you too!" She yelled.

'Ok so how would Raven handle this?' I thought, "Well I cant turn into a bird sooo direct approach it is!" I said as I braced for impact.

"LOOK OUT BELOW!!!" I yelled as I crash landed into someone, "Owww." A girl said, "Wait Blair is that you?!" I asked, "(y/n)?!" She said in shock, "Hows it been cuz?!" I asked as we got up.

"Not much." She said, "Hows your sister?" I asked, "Still trying to be just like our mom, she even has a cardboard Crescent Rose it's so cute!" She said, "Well looks like we're partners wanna go find Sky?" I asked, "Ok." She said.

Sky POV

"Where are you (y/n)?" I said "Well, well, well if it isn't little miss Belladonna." A boy said from behind me, I sighed, "Hi Will." I said.

"Looks like were partners kitty." He said, "Call me kitty again and I'll cut you in half." I said as I pointed the tip of Dark Twilight at his throat, "Oh come now our mothers are old friends aren't they, so I don't see why we cant be friends as well." He said, "Let's see Blair's tenth birthday party." I said, "SHE SURVIVED!" He said, "You almost killed Roxy!" I said, "What's this about my cousin?" (y/n) asked.

(y/n) POV

"Oh it's you." Blair said coldly as she readied her scythe.

I drew Destiny Trigger, "DUCK SCHNEE!" I yelled as I cut an alpha beowolf in half and the rest of the pack emerged from the forest. "Same bet as usual?" I said as Will drew his sword.

"Looser buys the winner dinner." Will said, "Sounds like you better get your wallet ready cause I'm not holding back this time!" I said as I blocked several attacks and charged up my semblance, "Ok boys put the rulers away." Blair said, "STAY OUT OF THIS BLAIR!" Will and I yelled as we killed several grimm.

"I...win." I panted, "Like...hell you did." Will panted, "Will you killed 72 grimm...(y/n) killed 198." Sky said, "Told ya!" I gloated.

We made our way to the ruins and grabbed the black knight relic and returned to the top of the cliff.

"(Y/N)!!!" A small spiral of rose petals shouted as it slammed into me, "Hi Roxy." I said as I ruffled her hair.

"Did you miss me?! Did you, did you, did you!!!" She asked, "Nope." I said. "Roxy what did I say about using your semblance?" Aunt Ruby said, "Only use it to mess with Aunt Weiss." Roxy said, "There ya go." Aunt Ruby said.

"Blair Rose, (y/n) Xaio Long, Sky Belladonna, and Will Schnee. You four retrieved the black knight piece and from this day forward shall be known as team RWBY, led by Blair Rose." Oscar said.
