Smokey wants a friend

Myna's grandkids are hiding behind the chairs

Something's frightening them and their cats

They've had their vitamins but got no minerals

So are wearing saucepans as their hats

They have a flashlight and a cup of juice

But could really use a flagon

Gods knows how long they'll have to wait

To be rid of this pesky dragon

Now they're not sure it wants the cats

It could be after the girls and boys

But no this scaly lizard swoops

And flies off with a claw full of toys

It seems he only wants to play

So the children don't need to defend

He's just a lonely little dragon

And he only wants a friend
