Last time on Dragon Ball ZX. Shasai now knows that Shanae's memories are being tampered with but what specifically is bothering her. Meanwhile, others are starting to get ready for the new years party in 2 days as Shanae is now worried that things might go wrong but the worst part is that this might be her last day of living because Vegeta is planning something sinister to make her learn her lesson once and for all.

Trunks POV

'What am I going to do today?' I thought as I was helping mom with her supplies then I heard my mom say, "Trunks sweetie could you get the wrench from the toolbox please?" "Ok mom." I replied as I got the tool she was asking and gave it to her but something was bothering me as the thought of Shanae almost dying yesterday. "Trunks! Sweetie? Are you ok?" My mom said as I snapped out of my thoughts then saw mom looking at me worriedly as she said, "Is something wrong sweetie?" "U-uh no mom. I'm fine." I said as she looked at me worriedly then said, "Trunks. I know you're not fine. We can discuss about it in the kitchen if you like." as she took my hand then took me into the kitchen as she sat me down and made some tea. She sat down in front of me pouring tea in my cup and pouring hers in her own as well.

"Now tell me, what's going on?" "I-it's nothing mom. I was just thinking of something." "Thinking of what?" "Nothing." I said as she was more skeptical then said, "It doesn't look like nothing. Trunks, I'm your mother. You can tell me what's wrong." as I sighed in defeat then explained the situation with yesterday with the trial. "I almost saw Shanae die right in front of me. I can never forgive myself because I didn't try to help her. And now Shanae's blind all because I couldn't look her the same." I said as I didn't know I had tears streaming down my face. "Sweetie! Don't blame yourself for Shanae's injuries. Remember, Okara was the one at fault for causing all of that to happen." "B-but I should've done something to prevent all of that from happening. Now I don't know if Shanae could forgive me or not." I said as I felt a hand on my shoulder which caused me to look up at mom giving me a serious look. "Trunks, if you want to see if Shanae's willing to forgive you, then go see her." Mom said as I looked away for a second then turned back and said, "Ok." as I got up from my chair and went into my room to change into my winter clothes.

After a while of changing, I looked at myself in the mirror as I was ready to visit Shanae and the others. I went out the door and flew up in the air then zoomed to find the house in the woods. After a few minutes, I finally made it to Shanae's house as I knocked on the door to see if anyone was home. Just then I heard the door open to see Shasai looking at me with a surprised face saying, "Oh Trunks. You're here?" "Um yeah. Is it ok if I...see her?" "See who?" "Shanae." "Oh you can! Come inside. She's in her room." Shasai said happily as she let me in then guided me all the way to Shanae's room. Shasai then knocked on the door saying, "Shanae. It's me Shasai. There's someone who really wants to see you." As we got no response then I started to think that maybe she was asleep so I said, "Maybe she's resting?" "Shanae already took a nap so it's unlikely that she's sleeping." Shasai said as she knocked on the door again louder this time. "That's weird. She always replies. Shanae! Please open up! Is something the matter?" Shasai shouted as we still got no response from her. "I guess we have to open the door to see." I said worriedly as she nodded then unlocked and opened the door but to a terrifying surprise she wasn't even on her bed or in her room. "Shanae?!" Shasai said frantically as she looked all over the room while I came in to see a window opened making me realize she might've gone out. "Um Shasai you might want to come see this." I called to her as she went over to see the open window as she was scared then said, "Oh no!" As she ran out the door making me go follow her outside the house as she flew away with her umbrella. "Is everything ok Shasai?" "N-no! Shanae's not supposed to be outside in this kind of weather! She's blind for crying out loud and the rivers in the area are very deep meaning she could just step on one without knowing and drown!" Shasai said as I got scared then helped her look for Shanae around the forest.

'I just hope we can find her in time.'

Shanae POV

'Why does he want to see me?' 'Maybe he wanted to see if you were ok.' 'After what I've done to him?! I can't forgive myself for making him suffer.' I said to Tokioni as I wandered aimlessly feeling every tree in my path and walking on the ground with each thud of mud and a bit of snow. 'Should t you be heading back home? The weather said is was going to snow tonight.' 'I just want to be...no...I just want time for myself that's all.' 'But you can't shut yourself out of your friends and family. Shanae you need to be appreciative for what you have.' Tokioni said as I stopped dead in my tracks then tapped on my foot on the ground making a clack and crack. 'Don't. move.' 'Where am I?! What's going on?!' I thought frantically as I stood dead still as Tokioni said, "You've stumbled upon a partially frozen lake. Basically standing on thin ice.' 'H-how do we-' 'Remain calm. Walk slowly with caution.' Tokioni said as I followed his orders walking slowly while trying to remain my balance. Just then I heard a crack from under as I flinched by Tokioni told me to stay still as it was still stable then he told be to walk more but carefully. 'Am I there yet?' I said to Tokioni in my mind as he told me that we were almost there as there was just a few steps away. I was a bit relieved to hear it but then it was short lived when I heard a boom from across the pond as I heard the ice crack multiple times making me panic. 'Run the the last few steps!' Tokioni said as I ran as fast as I can but then I heard another boom sending a shockwave making me fly back and fall to the ground. 'My head.' 'Get up Shanae! There's no time!' Tokioni said as I got up steadily then he told me to fly up but before I could do that, I felt myself being taken over as I dodged for some reason then ran. 'Wait what are you doing?!' 'i'm gonna take over your body for a bit.' Tokioni said as I let him do his thing as he for unknown reason took of the bandages off from my eyes then showed his eyes as I could actually see my surroundings for the first time.

'Wait I can see?!' 'Only when I control your body, now let me focus.' Tokioni said sternly as he fired some ki blasts at a strange looking guy who had a hooded cloak and looked at us menacingly. 'Who is that guy?' I said to Tokioni as I dodged more then fired some ki blasts to district him then dashed to him punching him in the face almost breaking the mask. 'Oh no. They're already here!' 'What are you talking about?!' I said mindfully to Tokioni but he didn't answer as he slashed at him more then used his lighting slash breaker to kill the guy making black blood come out. 'Shanae, we need to get out of here now.' Tokioni said as I nodded then he let me take back control of my body as I went blind again as I flew down onto the ground then started to run into the forest as Tokioni told me the directions to my house but then I suddenly bumped into something as I fell on my back then I held my head together as I slowly got up. "Well, well. Looks like I get to play with the disappointment after all!" I heard a familiar as I felt something grab my hand then drag me across the partially covered snow as I was thrown hard on my back to a hard object. "Looks like I have to deal with you the hard way to teach you how to respect your elders." I heard the guy say as I then realized it was Vegeta to which I felt a hard object hit me on the head hard as I felt blood coming down then I felt another blow as I yelled out in pain as then I was kicked in the stomach hard with Vegeta saying, "Stop yelling! Otherwise I'll make this more painful for you!" as he kept hitting me harder and harder.

After for about a minute or two, I felt the hitting stop as I was lifted by the hair then thrown hard against something hard again as he stepped on my stomach hard making me wheeze and cough up blood. "Now repeat after me. I." Vegeta said as I couldn't get a word out of my mouth which cause me to get another blow to the stomach then Vegeta said again, "I said repeat after me. Or do you want to get hurt again. I." "I-I." "Shanae Anderson." "Sh-Shanae...Anderson." "Am pathetic, useless, and always will be a disappointment to everyone." "Ve-AGH!" I tried to plead with him but I felt a blow to my stomach as I felt blood rushing up throat then he made me repeat the whole sentence. Vegeta made me repeat the last sentence as I teared up at the statement saying, "Okara is the better time successor and I will always be a just a Saiyan and nothing else until I die a horrible death." As I burst out crying then Vegeta said, "Good. Now repeat that every day until you know. And stop that stupid cry or I'll kill you." As I stopped sobbing then repeated the lines all over again while rocking my head forth and back hugging my knees together. Then I felt Vegeta's ki fading as he went away then felt another ki as I didn't acknowledge it because I was too distraught about my well being

"I, Shanae Anderson, am pathetic, useless, and always will be a disappointment to everyone. Okara is the better time successor and I will always be just a Saiyan and nothing else until I die a horrible death."

Shasai POV

"Trunks have you found her yet?" "No sadly. Where could she be?" Trunks replied as I thought while flying then I saw something shocked me as I flew down to the frozen lake but now is just destroyed with holes and a bit of black stuff. "What happened here?" "I don't know but it looked like a scuffle." I replied as we both looked around then Trunks shouted for saying, "Shasai! Come look at this!" As I teleported to him then saw black blood covering a hooded figure as I examined it. I looked at the hand and it had the symbol of time then paled when I realized who they were and sent him to the underworld with a portal opening. "We have to find Shanae now." "But who was that person?" "I'll explain later we've got to go now." I said as he nodded then we saw footprints that could be Shanae's as we both followed them. As we both followed the trail, it started to show a bit of blood then a lot more as we were both fearing for the worse. "Shanae?" I called out to her as I then heard whimpering coming from the my right as I grabbed Trunks' hand then ran to it. It got louder as I smelled blood throughout the forest then after a moment, I finally got to the whimpering as I saw a horrific sight. "Oh my goodness! Shanae are you alright?!" I asked her as she kept repeating something I couldn't decipher then Trunks and I went to her aid. "Dear calm down. You're safe with us now." I tried to calm her down as she kept repeating the same sentence again and again. I carried her on my back then opened a portal as I went through to her to while Trunks followed then I put Shanae on the chair and went outside to the room to get the medical supplies

After a while, I got the bandages then headed back to Shanae's room as I saw her still on the chair while Trunks was trying to calm her down as I told him to go on the bed then started to patch Shanae up. "Shanae please calm down." "...horrible death...pathetic." Shanae said faster as I thought about the the only option then said to myself, "Forgive me Shanae." As I slapped her hard across the face which made her stop. "I'm so-no I can't apologize too much. I deserved that." "Dear! Calm down please!" I said to her as she did calmed down taking deep breaths. I started to patch her up first putting the alcohol then wrapping the bandages around her wounds. After a while, I finished then carried her and set her on the bed then asked, "Shanae, what happened when you were outside to get the wounds." As she turned away then Trunks spoke up saying, "Shanae please tell us. You can't keep silent forever." "That's the problem. If I tell you, then I'll just get hurt again like last time. You wouldn't believe me if I told you." "What do you mean last time?! Just tell us please!" "I don't want to! I don't want to get beat up!" "What do you mean you're getting beat up?! You're not getting hurt are you?!" "That's the problem! You're his son! He might just use you to get to me!" Shanae shouted as we stood silent then she spoke up again saying, "You want to know? Fine. I went out the room to get away from Trunks because I was afraid to disappoint him again. But then Vegeta came along in the forest then made me repeat the sentences you've been hearing" As I was horrified at this then Trunks said, "Why is my father like this?!" "I didn't mean to hit Kayle! It was an accident! Its my fault! I don't want to live this life anymore!" "I just want to get away!" Shanae said while sobbing as I was going to calm her down again but Trunks got up and hugged her instead saying, "Shanae please don't say all of that. Just please listen for what I have to say." as Shanae wiped her tears then Trunks sat back down and explained. "Even though I love my father, I didn't like the way he's been treating you at all." "Then...why...why didn't you stop him when he was about to kill me?" "I...was afraid of him. After the training we did back months ago, I knew he would have the power to kill me also. I wanted to help you but then the thoughts came up again then I hesitated." Trunks said as I looked at them in sympathy then Shanae spoke up saying, "Why? Why do you still want to help me after everything I've done to you?" As Trunks then looked away then sighed and said, "Well...um." "Are you still mad at me from the way I acted from the multiverse tournament? It's ok if you still are...I mean...I deserve-" "You don't deserve the bad things to happen to you! You...don't deserve...it. I'm not mad at you anymore, I was just disappointed that's all. Remember I told you that I'm no monster." Trunks said as he wanted to hug Shanae but she was reluctant as she scooted away looking down.

"Is something wrong?" "N-no...just a bit scared." Shanae said as I went behind her then patted her back saying, "Dear, it's ok. Trunks is just gonna give you a hug." as she nodded then Trunks slowly hugged her as I watched in awe as Shanae hugged back slowly. "It's ok. I got you. He's not going to get to you." Trunks said as Shanae started to shake then I joined in on the hug patting her back saying, "We still love you Shanae. Don't let Vegeta tell you otherwise." As she started to weep then slowly bawled as I helped her calm down stroking her hair while Trunks hugged her tighter. After a few moments, Shanae finally calmed down and said, "T-thank you. I haven't been able to feel this much relief in a long time." As I smiled then said, "No problem dear. Just don't do that again ok?" "Ok." "But after you get some rest, we might need to talk to you about something else." I said as Shanae nodded while still holding onto Trunks as I got up from her bed then left the room for them to relax for a bit.

Pepper POV

"Tommy! Come downstairs and get your food!" I called to him as Tommy ran down and went to the table to eat then I saw Shasai come downstairs looking tired and exhausted. She sat down on the couch faceplanting on the cushions as I went to her to see what was wrong. "Um Shasai? Is something the matter?" "No Pepper. Just had to get Shanae back from outside with Trunks." "Wait why did she go outside?" "She wanted to get away from Trunks since he is Vegeta's son. That man has traumatized my best friend and he's gonna pay for it." "But you know Shanae doesn't like that." "I know but there's something that's bothering me when I was looking for Shanae." "Which was?" I asked as Shasai got up and said, "The lake we went to. It was destroyed and a man with a cloak was dead but when I looked at the symbol....I realized that they're here." I paled at her answer as I asked her what it looked like then she explained it had a clock and an X over it as I realized it was the them. The Time Exterminators. "They're here?! Now?!" "Now calm down Pepper. This is only just the beginning. But my question still remains." "What is it?!" "How did he die?" "Did he maybe get beaten up?" "That's my theory but I have to make sure it's justified by questioning Shanae if she did anything with him." "But she's blind! She can't see anything remember?!" "I know but you never know what she's hiding from us." Shasai said as I looked down worriedly then sighed and said, "Ok. But tell me this. If the Time Exterminators are here...are they also here to kill us?" "I don't know to be honest. We didn't do anything to get them to hunt us down." "Could it be that we're witnesses?" "Possibly." Shasai said as I sat down with her then face planted on the cushions holding it.

'I have a husband and a son. If a thing happens to them, I will not forgive myself. I'll protect them till my very last breath.'

Timeskip to the middle of the night

Shanae POV

"That's it just a bit further." I heard Trunks say as I walked to where his voice was holding out my hands to try and feel his touch. "You're getting closer just a few more steps." "Ok." I answered back as I walked slowly to the voice then after a while I felt hands then gently pulled into an embrace. "You did it!" "N-no yelling please. It hurts my ears." "Oh sorry." Trunks said as I smiled a bit then he led me back to the bed as I held him close to me while I felt my head being stroked. "Isn't your mother worried about you?" "Nah, she wanted me to check up on you and enjoy as long as I want." Trunks said as I smiled a bit not showing it but visible enough for him to see it. "C'mon Shanae. I know you can smile better than that." Trunks said as he poked my cheek making me blush and smile a lot. Then we heard the door knock as I wondered who it was as I felt Trunks the bed and heard the door creak and open. "Oh Shasai you're here. Is there anything you need?" I heard Trunks say as I then heard Shasai say, "Actually I do. Is Shanae here?" As I spoke up saying, "I'm here. Is something wrong?" "Oh no dear. We just want to have a discussion with you that's all." I heard Shasai said as I wondered what it was going to be about as I got up out of the bed then felt a hand holding my right hand as I then felt a stick in my hand then was guided somewhere.

I then felt myself being lifted off the ground then the air flowing around me and then the next thing I knew I was on the couch. I then heard footsteps and squeaking of chairs as I realized everyone was in a room with me. "Shanae you're in the living room just so you know. Also Trunks is sitting next to you to help you keep calm. Got that?" I heard Shasai say as I nodded then I heard Pepper say, "So we called you here to discuss one question with you with everyone." "Which is?" I asked as I heard footsteps approach then my hands being held together softly. "Can you please tell us what happened at the lake this afternoon?" Shasai said as I paled then shook because I didn't want them to know about Tokioni. "Shanae, we talked about this. You can't keep silent forever." "I...I...I can't tell you guys." "Shanae please. We can't figure out what happened if you don't tell us." "I promised to keep it a secret." I said as I felt my hands tighten a bit as Shasai said, "Dear. We all make promises but sometimes we have to break those promises to try and get to the conclusion. So please tell us what happened at the lake." As I shook my head then tried to take away my hands but somehow they wouldn't move as someone was holding them tight for me to not run away. "Shanae don't run! We just want to know the truth." "And then start calling me a monster?! No way!" I said as I tried to pull away my hands but it got even more tighter as I struggled more but it was useless. "I don't want to be pushed away again! I just want to fit in with the other crowds! I don't want to be like elementary all over again!" I shouted again as I started to look down with tears streaming down as I felt my hands being let go then I felt myself being pushed down onto a soft object. "Wait. What do you mean by elementary? What's it about elementary that you're not willing to show." I heard Trunks say as I didn't want to bring up the memories again as I said, "It's none of your business." Then I got up but someone grabbed my arm and sat me back down as I felt something restrain me from leaving the couch. "I'm sorry Shanae but this is the only way to heat the truth." I heard Nanka say apologetically as I tried to struggle but it was no use as I sighed then said, "Y-you really want to know the truth right?" "That's all we want. Nothing more." I heard Shasai say as I heard Tokioni say, 'I guess I have no choice but to reveal the truth to your friends.' as I sighed then said, "Promise me you won't call me a monster?" "We all promise Shanae." Pepper said as I sighed then let Tokioni take over my body.

Shasai POV

I saw a dark aura around Shanae as she looked at us with yellow eyes and black scleras as she smiled sinisterly while we got our weapons ready but then she said, "Woah woah calm down guys. Shanae said you guys would call her a monster. I'm not a bad guy." As we were all looked at her with relief but we're were still on edge. "Sorry if I scared you guys. It was not my intention of hurting you or Shanae herself as I had to protect myself." Shanae said as I realized it was the demon from earlier in the multiverse tournament. "Wait...who are you again?" I asked as Shanae looked at me with a smiled then said, "Oh I'm Tokioni, Shanae gave me that name when we both teamed up together during Okara's trial." "So that's why Shanae wasn't acting like herself. Were you controlling her?" "No! She gave me permission to control her." Tokioni said as we nodded then said, "Now that we know who you are, let's get straight to the point, what happened when Shanae was at the lake." As Tokioni sighed then said, "So Shanae ran away from the house because you know the reason. Then I tried to convince her to go back to the house to try and confront Trunks but I got distracted as we stumbled upon a frozen lake." As we all nodded then Pepper spoke up saying, "So you're Shanae's supporting friend. That's good." "Yeah, but anyway, I was guiding her to a the forest but then the blast came as we both saw the hooded man. Of course I had to tell Shanae to give me her body to try and defeat him but I ended up killing him instead." We ran away and then you know what happened when we encountered Vegeta.", Tokioni said as he sighed then we all looked at each other worriedly as Nanka spoke up saying, "So...who was that hooded figure." As Tokioni paled then said, "I don't know if you would take it very well but you Nanka also have to be on the lookout because they're coming for you." "But I just want to know who they are and what did we do for them to go after them." Nanka said as I patted her head and told her to calm down as he will get to that later.

"I'm already aware that Shasai knows about the Time Exterminators, but it doesn't hurt to tell you guys so you can be on high alert for them." Tokioni said as we all nodded then started to listen to who they were. "The Time Exterminators are a group of trained assassins that kill off the time descendants for any reason that they're given. Back then, it would be for good reason as they would kill off the descendants for either abusing their powers or they just can't control them. But..." "But what? Did something happen to them?" "Not really. They only listen to the accessors and Aiones herself but ever since then, they started to just go after the descendants for no real reason at all." "However do you mean?" "For instance, one time descendants was mysteriously killed in a car crash as everything in his car was good but then suddenly crashes. Then another mysterious death back in the 1920s when a gentlemanly time descendant died in the Taisho Express Disaster that also killed 26 people and 120 injured." Tokioni explained as I recognized that disaster that took the life of my longtime best friend. "That is mighty mysterious because my friend would have survived it also since he was sitting in one of the semi damaged carts but it wouldn't kill anyone." "You know him? Can you tell us who he is?" "I wish I could but you're gonna have to read a book about the time descendants throughout history." I explained to Nanka as she sighed then Tokioni explained further saying, "I now started to get suspicious of their actions if they were plotting something or were just plain corrupted but now it's starting to develop a big picture." As I looked at Tokioni hopefully asking him, "So we got the information needed about the lake incident, now it's just one last question. What is the big picture that the Time family is planning?" As Tokioni looked in defeat then said, "That sadly I can't tell you. That is for you guys to figure out." As Pepper got up and said, "What! We've been trying to solve the mystery since forever! And now that we got the final information, you're not gonna tell us?!" "I know how you feel Pepper but it's something me and Shanae have to keep a secret from everyone because everything has to go according to plan without getting killed or even worse, getting you guys involved in the mix." "But we'll be ready for them!" "They're more powerful than you think! I don't want you guys to get killed because that would make you witnesses! Why do you think we acted out?!" Tokioni said accidently as he covered his mouth when we all looked in shock and confusion. "What do you mean by acted out?!" "I've said too much. I have to go now." "Wait! Come back!" Pepper called out but it was already too late as Tokioni gave Shanae control again. "You guys got the information you needed. So now can I go?" "Not before you tell us what you said about acting out and the final piece of the puzzle." "Didn't Tokioni tell you that we have to keep this a secret?" "Yeah but we just want to know more about it." "I think I should go now." Shanae said worriedly as she got up to go but the restraints were still there as she couldn't get back up. "I forgot that they were there." Shanae said as she somehow turned the chains black then broke them into pieces. She tried to walk away but then Trunks grabbed her wrists making her flinch. "Shanae. Don't go away just yet. We need to know the final part of the information." "Trunks let me go. I told you I can't reveal it yet so everything goes according to plan." "But you can't do this on your own. We can help you try to improve your plan if you just talk." Trunks said as Shanae tried to struggle out of his grip but he held it firmly.

"T-trunks you're hurting me." "Shanae I just want to know the truth." "But I can't please let me-Ah!" Shanae yelped as Trunks pulled her into a hug stroking her hair. "Shanae? Do you trust me? Am I your enemy?" Trunks asked her as Shanae didn't say anything as Trunks started to hug her tight. "Shanae. Don't you trust us? Does that make us your enemy?" Nanka said as Shanae still didn't say anything then started to shake then finally spoke up saying, "I didn't want you guys to become enemies in the first place. I never wanted to make enemies but I had to do what I had to do. It hurts a lot but I get used to it afterwards. It's because of this I was afraid of telling everyone about my secret and in turn they got people hurt." "Dear." I said as we started to understand her situation but then Shanae spoke saying, "If you guys want me to tell you then...fine." as we were going to listen but then someone unexpectedly slammed the door open as we all turned around except Shanae to see Vegeta looking at us sternly. "Vegeta! What are you doing here?" "I came to  give Pepper and Shasai something but it seems that I found two people trying to reconcile without my permission." "What do they have to do with your agenda?! Shanae and Trunks are already fine with each other so why do you want to split them up?!" "Because I'm his father and she's nothing but a lowly wretch!" Vegeta said as she pointed to Shanae who was looking somewhere with a confused look. Then Vegeta grabbed Shanae's hand roughly saying, "You're coming with me." As he dragged her away but Pepper and I got infront of him to prevent him from going but he just pushed us out of the way. I went to grab his shoulder but he grabbed my hand and squeezed it tight making me grit me teeth. "I'm not afraid of ripping your arm off." Vegeta said as he threw me back making me fall to the ground but I got up and tried to charge at him but Zamasu prevented me from going to him. "Vegeta what are you going to do with her?!" "I'm just gonna teach her some manners." "No you're not! You're going to beat her up again! Shanae told us about it!" Pepper shouted as she was restrained by Gogeta but Vegeta couldn't care less as he dragged Shanae again. Just then Trunks punched Vegeta in the face hard enough for him to let go of Shanae as she fell to the ground while Trunks standing infront of her. "Leave. Her. Alone." Trunks said sternly as Vegeta looked at him menacingly then went up to him saying, "So you want to play Saiyan right? You wouldn't have the balls to try and hit me. Just give me Shanae or you'll join her to." "Like hell I will! Shanae told me everything that happened with you and her. This is not the way you're supposed to help her!" "So?! It's my business and you have nothing to do with this anyway!" Vegeta said as he was going to grab Shanae but Trunks pushed him away as he got in his fighting stance.

"This is getting old." Vegeta said as he punched Trunks in the face then looked at Shanae, but instead kicked her in the stomach making her cough up blood then left a box on the table. "I'll be back someday. And I better not see those 2 together or I'll make them not see each other myself." Vegeta said as he left the house leaving us in turmoil.

Shanae POV

I heard footsteps fading away as I felt myself being carried up as I heard Trunks say, "Are you ok?! Did he hurt you?!" "I-i'm fine don't worry." I replied as I felt myself being pulled into a tight embrace then my shoulders being held. "I'm so sorry my father was like this to you." "I-it's fine really. I said as I smiled a bit but held my stomach due to the kick Vegeta gave me. "Is your stomach hurting you?" "A little bit but not too much." "Maybe I should stay the night at your place." Trunks said as I was shocked and worried at this but I couldn't say no to him because he's a bit stubborn like Vegeta. "Ok. Let me just get the extra bed from my room and you can sleep in my room. Is that ok?" I asked as he said, "Yes that's ok." As I nodded then I felt myself being lifted up again and then the air around me. After a moment, I felt something soft around me as I now know it was my bed then Trunks asked, "Can you see when Tokioni takes over your body?" As I replied with, "Surprisingly yes. But I don't want to use it too much to the point where people think it's creepy." "Oh no I'm not telling you to use it everyday, I just wanted to see if I was correct." Trunks said as I nodded then changed my eyes to Tokioni's as I could see his surprised face which made me smile a bit. "It's been a long time since I've seen your face." I said while I was getting up from the bed and went to the wardrobe to get the extra bed out and set it up for him to use. "It may not look like your average bed but it's very comfy." "Thanks a lot!" Trunks said as I smiled went back to the bed and turned back into my normal blind eyes. "Are you sure Bulma will be ok with it?" "Don't worry too much, she knows I'm staying for the day." "Oh. Do you...want to help me send invites to the gang? Every universe is coming to the new years party." "Even the bad universes?" "Yeah but we have people to keep an eye on." "That sounds nice." Trunks said as I smiled then yawn and then said, "Ok it's getting pretty late now. See you in the morning." "You to." Trunks replied as I started to sleep soundly to try and forget about everything that happened.
