Last time on Dragon Ball ZX, Shasai, Pepper and Nanka were all killed at the hands of their evil sisters. Shanae is the only one to live through it, but it's unknown if she'll be able to talk since Vegeta has now put her in a critical state. After 2 hours of waiting, the gang will finally get the results they needed. Will Shanae survive or become the 4th person to add to the tragedy?

Trunks POV

"Doc, how is she doing?! Please I need to know! I don't want to lose her again!" I said as mom calmed me down then the doctor said, "Well due to the amount of blunt force trauma and seizures... it's a miracle that she survived through all of it." As I got on my knees relieved saying, "Thank Kami!" "But I have some bad news to share about her injuries." The doctor continued as I got up worried saying, "What about her injuries?!" "We found out that someone broke her neck in an unnatural direction causing damage to her spinal cord. That would mean she can't eat, drink, or even move her body." "So, does that mean she's bedridden?!" "Yes. Not only that, she'll be in a medically induced coma for 4 weeks due to the fact she lost 2 gallons of blood." "4 weeks?! I don't have 4 weeks! I want to see Shanae now so I can take her to that-!" "SHUT! UP!" Zamasu said as Musai left the room angry then Zamasu said, "Please continue." "Ok. You guys can come to see her tomorrow because we just need to do some tests." The doctor said as I nodded then mom told me, "See, everything will be fine Trunks." "Yeah. It's...better than her dying." I said as she patted me on the back. "See the damage you've caused, Vegeta?" Kayle said as she took off the engagement ring and threw it at him. "The engagement is officially over. You're also not going to see your child ever again." Kayle said as she went out of the hospital while I turned to him angrily then said, "I don't want to see you again. I don't even consider you my father anymore." As I took mom with me and then teleported back home.

Xeno Gogeta POV

I saw Trunks exit the hospital room with Bulma as they teleported back home. I then looked at the others who were also looking down then went out of the hospital and flew away or teleported back home. I looked over at Vegeta who was looking down clenching his fist as I put my hand on his shoulder and said, "Vegeta, even though I and Zamasu are still mad at you, we're letting you stay in the summer house with us." "Why...are you doing that?" "If I've learned something from my wife, it's to show mercy even when they have nothing left to gain," I said as Zamasu made a portal and then went inside while we also followed to the summer house. I showed him the guest room where he could rest for the time being as he went in, but not before saying, "Thank....you." as he closed the door. I then went into Tommy's room where he was still sleeping after I took him home for him to rest and also not see his mother's body. "Sleep, well kid," I said as I closed the door quietly and then went to my room where I changed and got on the bed. I looked over to see the wedding photo of me and Pepper as I picked it up and looked at it. "Pepper...you were so beautiful and pure. I've sworn myself to protect you with my life and look where that got me. I've failed you my snowflake." I said tearfully as I lay down on the bed hugging the picture while crying myself to sleep.

Xeno Fused Zamasu POV

I changed into my clothes and then sat on the bed still thinking about Shasai. "Shasai, why did you have to die?! Who would even think of killing you?!" I said to myself as I unknowingly grabbed an object and threw it at the wall. I then noticed the object I threw which I realized was our photo from our first date. I picked it up and then repaired it with my ki and held it in my hands. "I remember when I first saw you, I just thought of you as another mere goddess. But then I noticed you were a special kind of goddess that taught me the meaning of life and death and why we had to protect the mortals. Heck! You never even once said mortals and only said humans because you just wanted to be treated like one. Now that you're gone, I don't even have the motivation to keep living life anymore." I said as I lay down on the bed and then turned over to Shasai's side where she would cuddle me every night. I moved over to her side still smelling her perfume and the sweet aroma of death she gave off. "I swore my life to protect you till the end of time. I couldn't save you from the disaster that took you away from me. I'm so sorry that I couldn't protect you my rose." I said as I held the picture with me and then slowly started to fall asleep.

Goten POV

I just couldn't believe what just happened today at the party. Shasai, Pepper, and especially Nanka were just laying on the ground lifeless. "Why didn't I go with Nanka when she ran away?! If I came with her, then she would've still been alive!" I said as I unknowingly punched the wall in front of me making something fall with a thud. I went to the object that fell and saw it was a box full of childhood things I stored. "I almost forgot that Nanka and I were high school buddies. We were inseparable when it came to studying, pranks, and even prom when we pretended to be a couple. Those were good memories back then." I said as I looked at the pictures of us posing in different high school locations. "Nanka, why... didn't I confess my love for you when we were at the New Year's Party? Why was I so oblivious to your love?! But it's all gone now. I was too late to let you know how I felt." I said as I put away the box under my bed and fell asleep to try and forget about what happened that day.

In the dreamscape

I woke up suddenly to see endless darkness around me as I got up from the floor to walk around. "Hello? Hello? Anybody?" "Goten?" "Who's there?!" I said as I saw it was only Gogeta and Zamasu together. "You guys are here too?!" "Yeah. I'm wondering why we're all here?" "I'm wondering the same too." A feminine voice said as we both looked in the direction of the voice to see it was a woman with pink hair and white high heels. "Lady Kaioshin!" "Supreme Kai of Time!" Xeno Gogeta and Fused Zamasu said as they bowed while I was confused. "What are you doing here?" "I don't know. I was just sleeping trying to forget about the accident but the next thing I knew I was summoned here!" Supreme Kai of Time said as I spoke up saying, "So if you don't know, then who knows?!" "Oh, so it does work after all!" A feminine voice said as we all turned around to see Nanka, Shasai, Pepper, and a man with long hair with a bit of a beard. "Sorry about the trouble." "Pepper!" Gogeta said as he ran to her and hugged her while she hugged back. We all ran to them with me hugging Nanka while she hugged back. "I missed you, Nanka! Who killed you?!" "First off, I missed you too, and second we have something very important to tell you guys," Nanka said as we both parted then a table was summoned for us to sit and discuss. "So as you all know, we're dead. I know you guys are very...sad about our tragedy, but there's still some hope." "However do you mean?" "You see, our souls have been transferred to the Olympus realm and my father said that we can all be revived." "Really?! That's great!" Gogeta said as Pepper smiled then the guy spoke up saying, "There was a reason why I gave my elder sister the book." "And why is that?" "She's very intelligent and every gods' and goddesses' last hope of exposing the corruption in the realm." The guy said as the Supreme Kai of Time spoke up. "Zenki, who is the person you're talking about?" "Chronoa, she's someone very close to everyone in the gang," Zenki said as we all thought about who it could be. "Think about it! Who has been very secretive and so closed off that they're willing to sacrifice everything for the sake of everyone? Who had to put everything aside just to save everyone?" "Shanae!" We all said as Shasai said, "Correct! We were all foolish for reading her book when it was unfinished! I wish we could've controlled ourselves before we read it!" "So, is what Musai said true?" "What?! What the hell did she tell you?!" Shasai said angrily as she banged her fists on the table. "She said that she was the one who killed all of you since she was the sole survivor." "See! I knew she was bad news when I first met her! She's manipulative, controlling, and just plain abusive!" "And do you want to know what else?! Musai humiliated Shanae in front of 20 UNIVERSES all because she wanted to prove her point!" "SHE DID WHAT TO MY SISTER?!" "Zenki, calm down! Remember not to raise your power level or this world will collapse." "...right." Zenki said as he calmed down then continued saying, "So we're all giving you a mission." "And that is to?" "Protect Shanae until the book is finished. A messenger will come to pick it up when it's finished, but it must be specifically from her." "And what would happen if she died?" "Then it would all be in vain. Unless you're willing to deliver it the hard way, a war will break out and we'll be used as pawns including Shanae." Pepper said as we were all horrified. "So, you're telling me that a war will break out because of Shanae?!" "Not quite! The gods have been wanting to go at war for a long time, but Shanae vowed herself to try and expose the truth about everything." Shasai said as we felt unsure.

"Guys, I know you guys can do it! You've just got to protect her and everything will go back to normal." Pepper said as we all nodded then the table disappeared. "Before we go, tell us one thing. How is Shanae doing?" Zenki said as I looked away in shame then Fused Zamasu spoke up saying, "You may not like this, but Vegeta beat up Shanae very severely breaking her neck, ribs, sternum, and limbs." "What?! Please tell me those were the only injuries she received." "It gets worse. The final nail in the coffin was that he dragged Shanae to the kiddie section, shoved her head inside the animatronic's jaw, and it clamped down her skull causing a huge chunk of it to be bitten off." Gogeta said as Zenki had sinister ki around his body. "Tell me that wasn't my animatronic I made a long time ago! I put a sensor on that thing!" "That's the strange thing! The sensor wasn't on when her head was shoved in!" I said as Nanka spoke up saying, "Shanae fixed that thing too! So, why didn't the sensor realize that a human part was in the animatronic's jaw?!" As Zenki said nothing. "So this Vegeta....used my animatronic...to harm my fucking sister?!" "But the good news is that she survived all that and is going to wake up in 4 weeks." "She better. I can't risk her life being taken away by rage." Zenki said as the aura around him was gone. Just then, the world was cracking as Shasai said, "The world is collapsing! You guys have to go now! Tell everyone except Musai what we've said! And make sure to look for the 8 hidden notes Shanae hid!" As she opened up the portal beneath us making us fall through." "What notes?!" "You have to look for them in our most valuable moments!" "And by that we mean look for the objects that showed true love!" "Wait Nanka! I have a confession to make!" "Which is?!" "I love you! I've always had a crush on you since high school!" I said as Nanka was shocked but before she could say something the world went white.

Back to Reality

I started to wake up to see mom and dad shaking me rapidly. "W-what happened?" "Oh, sweetie! We were so worried about you!" "Why?" I question mom as dad spoke up saying, "You were yelling and stirring around the bed about Nanka. Is it that she's grown on to you?" "Oh, that dream. To be honest, I've had a crush on her since high school, but I've hidden it for so many years." I said as I looked down while mom hugged me tightly. Then I remembered when Pepper said that Shanae hid some notes in our "valuable moments" that showed true love as I got the box from under my bed. "Where's the note?!" "What note?!" Mom said as I looked at all the pictures to see no note. But I saw a line on the bottom as I took off the incision square and lifted to see a picture of Nanka and me having a moment at the park hugging each other. "You guys were so cute together." "Yeah," I replied as I turned it over to see the note folded into a tiny square taped. I took it out of the picture and kept it on the desk only for mom to ask me "Goten, what's that paper for?" "It's a long story." "If it's a long story, then you have to tell us. Nobody just finds a note and puts it on the table." Dad said as I sighed then explained the whole story about how the girls and one guy named Zenki reached us in our dreams and told us everything about why we needed to protect Shanae. I also told them about the 8 hidden notes Shanae had hidden with our "valuable moments" which was why I found the note with my picture. "Woah, Shanae is complex when it comes to secrets." "Yeah, and also she's not the culprit for the murders. Shasai told me that because remember she ran first into the forest." "Are you sure? Because Musai was making accusations that Shanae killed them." "I'm sure!" "Ok, you have our word son," Dad said as I smiled then got up from the bed and went to get ready for the day.

Trunks POV (Nightmare)

"Hello?" I said as I didn't hear anything while I was roaming around in the darkness. "Anyone here?" I said as I then saw a figure appear in front of me. "Who are you?!" I said as the figure then formed into Shanae looking at me with disappointment. "Shanae?! Shanae, I'm so-Just go away you monster!" I blurted out as Shanae looked at me distraught then started to run away. "Shanae, wait!" I started to run after her to try and catch up to her, but she disappeared into thin air. I stopped then saw Shanae appear again but this time laying limp on the ground while another figure was dragging her. "Shanae?!" I called out to her as the figure turned into my father while another figure turned into the animatronic making me realize he was going to put her head in the jaw again. "No! I can't let this happen again!" I said as I tried to go after them, but something was wrapped around my legs making me stationary. "Shanae!" I called out to her as she was then shoved into the animatronic's jaw clamping down on her head. "You could've saved her boy. You were her prince charming." "You!" I said angrily as I charged at him, but he disappeared also with Shanae and the animatronic leaving me all alone. "Trunks." I heard a faint whisper as I turned around to see Shanae in her mangled form while breathing irregularly. "S-Shanae?!" "You...broke our....promise. Why?" "Shanae, I didn't mean-" "You...said...you would...protect me....from harm. Was....that a....lie?" "No! Shanae I'm sorry for calling you a monster. It was just that I was in the heat of the moment!" "LIAR!" Shanae shouted as the place cracked then she said, "I...trusted...you. But I guess...I still....get.... hurt....in the end." "Shanae," I said as she fell to the ground with a splat. "You...break...the...promise...I BREAK YOUR SOUL!" Shanae shouted as something stabbed me through the chest while Shanae turned into mush then everything turned white.

Snapback to reality

I woke up suddenly with cold sweat around my body while my alarm clock was beeping nonstop. I looked to see it was 8:00 pm which means the doctor would let me see Shanae as I got up from bed and then started to get ready. After all that, I went downstairs to the kitchen to see mom was already up making breakfast. "Morning, mom." "Morning sweetie! I've made your favorite breakfast on the table." "Thanks!" I said as I sat at the table and started eating the breakfast mom prepared for me. 'Shanae, I didn't mean to break our promise. But this time I mean it.' I thought to myself as I finished all my breakfast. "Trunks, are you ready?" "Yes, mom," I replied as I followed her out the door and then drove to the hospital. After about a 10-minute drive to the hospital, we got out of the car and went inside the waiting room where, unexpectedly, Xeno Gogeta, Xeno Fused Zamasu, Goten, and the others were. "Oh, didn't expect you guys to be here." "Yeah, we also have something very important to tell you." "Oh," I said as I looked around the hospital only to notice Musai wasn't there. "Where's Musai?" "She's not allowed to get involved in this." "Oh," I said as I sat down in one of the chairs to wait for the doctor. "So what's the message?" "Well, we got to see Nanka, Shasai, and Pepper again in the dream realm." "You did? What did they say?" "It's a long story." "Basically to put it in summary, they told us the truth about Shanae and the book she wrote. We have to protect her until she finishes that book so a messenger from the Olympus realm can come and take it so everything will go back to normal. They also told us that Shanae is not the culprit for their murders." "That's great news! So Shanae is now proven innocent." "Yeah, but there's more." "Oh?" "You see, we have to find 8 hidden notes Shanae hid and it has to be an object of our most valuable moments that represent true love." "Shanae's that complex?!" "Yeah. I'm curious about her book, but we can't open it." Goten said as I nodded while the doctor came into the waiting room.

"Ok, I've checked her vitals and you should be able to see her. Remind you, she can hear everything you guys say when she's in a coma so choose your words carefully." "Ok," I said as the doctor led us to Shanae's room where she was in a coma-like state with a neck brace on her neck and many IVs on her arms. She had many bandages around her face while her body was covered with a huge dive to keep her warm. "I'll leave you guys alone for a while." The doctor said as he left all of us alone in the room with Shanae. I took a chair and sat down in front of her bed to look at her still breathing heavily with the oxygen mask on her. "Uh...hey. I know...you don't want to see me right now after the...altercation. But, I just wanted to say I'm...sorry. I'm sorry for calling you a monster. I-i was just in the heat of the moment when you scratched Kayle. I didn't mean any of it. I broke my promise to you and now look where you are. I failed to protect you from harm, but the most important thing is that you won't trust any of us anymore, right? So, w-when you wake up, could....you....please....give us one more chance?" I said as I unknowingly started to tear up while feeling someone pat my back. "Trunks, I know she'll give us one more chance." "But all of this happened because of us. I called her a monster, Musai embarrassed her in front of everyone, and even worse, she almost died all because I couldn't keep our promise." "In which was a stupid promise to keep." I heard Musai say as we both turned around angrily while she came inside the room. "Musai, what the hell did you say?!" "I said it was a stupid promise to keep with Shanae because she'll always break it in the end." "That's not true at all!" "I'm telling you the truth! Shanae will just lie and say she'll keep her promise, but she breaks it in the end. She expected you to protect her, but she only lied to herself to use you as her shield. She's using you! Get it in your head!" "She's not using me! I made that promise to her and I swore to her I would keep it!" I said standing up with my fist balled up while Musai looked at me angrily. "Tch, I don't have time for this." Musai angrily said as she got out a syringe scaring Goku and Xeno Goku.

"Musai, what are you doing?!" Mom said as Musai looked at us with anger then said, "I don't have 4 weeks! I already booked Shanae for her trip to the asylum and she's going to stay there indefinitely!" "Asylum?! Shanae is not going to your asylum and that's final!" "I'm staying with my decision! Now move out of the way so I can inject her with the senzu bean serum." Musai said as she was going to Shanae, but I stood up and got in front of her blocking Shanae. "Trunks, move out of the way." "No. Shanae is not fully conscious yet. Remember the doctor said that she's in a medically induced coma? If we give it to her now, she might die!" "So? She's going to die sooner or later anyway." "Don't you fucking say that about her you brat!" I said as I got slapped across the cheek. "Don't fucking call me a brat! I always hated that word! Let me do what I want to do and stop providing for Shanae because she doesn't deserve any of it!" Musai shouted as pushed me out of the way, then tried to inject Shanae with the serum. Suddenly, Zamasu got the serum out of her hand using his telekinesis and put it through a portal. "What was that for?!" "Musai, she's not going to the asylum." "I want Shanae to wake up now! I want her to take her to the" "SHUT! UP!" Zamasu shouted as he slapped her across the face hard. "You've been acting like a spoiled brat, you've humiliated Shanae in front of 20 universes, and now you're trying to take her to the asylum?! What is up with you?!" "I'm trying to make her normal!" "Was humiliating Shanae your method of normality?! You've always treated Shanae like this when she was a child! Hell, one-time Shasai told me she found Shanae crying with bruises all over her body! Was that you?!" Zamasu said as Musai didn't say anything and then stormed out of the room while Zamasu shouted at her saying, "Don't you dare walk out of this room! Answer the damn question! Did you give her those bruises?!" "Zamasu, let her go. All she'll do is get more aggressive." "...right." Zamasu said as I got up and looked at Shanae who was unharmed. Just then the doctor came in with a hesitant look on his face. "Is everything ok in here?!" The doctor said as Xeno Goku said, "Yeah, we just had an altercation with a person of ours." "Shanae is unharmed. We assure you." "Ok good. Anyway, her visiting time is up also." "Really?" "Yeah, we still need to check her vitals to make sure she's functioning properly." "Ok." I said as we all went out of the room and then went out of the hospital.

"Shanae, please forgive me for what I've done."

Artic POV

As time went on, Trunks and the gang would visit Shanae every day to tell her about what was happening each day. Meanwhile, Goten, Xeno Gogeta, Xeno Fused Zamasu, and Chronoa all got together to interpret the notes Shanae had written. They find out that Shanae has placed them in a sequence of events for each valuable moment with the last sentences giving off a clue. The first letter was Zamasu's letter as Shasai was the first person Shanae had ever met when she made it into Conton City. Gogeta's letter was the second one as Pepper had introduced herself to Shanae while taking care of her physically. Chronoa's letter was the third one because Chronoa was a favorite of Shanae's trust when she arrived at Conton City. Lastly, Goten's letter was the fifth letter strangely because Goten and Nanka were the first best friend pair Shanae has seen and started to notice that Nanka had developed feelings for him. Chronoa read the last line of the sentence which said, "A hero once showed me the way to live a normal life." As Chronoa realized it was Zenki's letter since he was Shanae's role model that helped her through her mentality. She went into Zenki's old room and found a picture of Zenki, Nanka, and Shanae together. She broke open the picture which revealed the 4th note that connected to Goten's letter with the quote, "Two birds on a bench with a lovely secret." Chronoa went back to the group and sorted all the letters together. Gogeta looked at Goten's letter that talked about her days in school. He was shocked to find out Shanae had been bullied for a very long time and her reason for not telling the gang about it. Just as they were going to find out the reason, it ended with another quote, "She's a witch! An old hag! She has a tongue of a snake!" Which was a conflicting answer because Musai was the main culprit. But then Chronoa read it carefully to realize it was Shanae's old teacher, Ms. Green. Zamasu teleported to the school to see if it was still open. He then remembered that Pepper and Shasai got the school shut down due to the amount of abuse that was going on while violating health codes.

Zamasu went inside the school and walked to Ms. Green's old classroom where Shanae's desk was found to be all scratched up and broken with derogatory names still intact. Zamasu looked in her desk drawer to see the sixth letter then teleported back to the gang to read it. The letter finally revealed that the reason why Shanae didn't tell anyone about her bullying was that Ms. Green and a "mastermind" made her keep quiet or they would kill her just like last time. The final quote read, "He was the only person right for me, but I don't dare to scream out to him." Goten connected the letter to Trunks when he and Shanae were best friends in high school. He teleported to Trunks' house and knocked on his door to see him with Bulma. Goten and Trunks went up to a room to talk about Shanae's letters and Trunks asked if he could join them in finding the notes. Goten accepted as they went around the room to look for something that represented true love. They looked everywhere from pictures to boxes but had no luck. Just as they were going to give up, Trunks remembered a time capsule he and Shanae kept for almost 5 years. They went to the backyard and dug up the time capsule to see a folded piece of paper. Trunks opened it up to see it was Shanae's note as they went back to the hall of time to meet up with the gang. This was the seventh letter Shanae wrote about how she managed to find Trunks as a friend since he always appreciated her for who she is and helped her get through her worst. She then moved on to the "mastermind" that hasn't been very kind to her and only treated Nanka normally while she was treated as a monster. They all read the final puzzle as it said, "If you want to find the final piece of the book for me, look for the "house of horrors" and find the room that hides the monster inside." Making everyone stumped as Shanae made a lot of enemies throughout her life. They figured it could be one of her bullies, but Chronoa ruled it out as they didn't have anything to do with Shanae's attitude. Gogeta then said that it could be Ms. Green, but Chronoa had already ruled it out as impossible since Shanae revealed her as a secondary mastermind.

The group thought hard as Chronoa then figured out who might be the mastermind. Chronoa couldn't say as that can set an uproar, so she decided to teleport to Musai's house as she had to be careful not to get caught. She snuck through one of the open windows to the hallways of each person's room. Chronoa walked through the hallway to see Shanae's old room at the time Musai was taking care of them. She opened it and closed it quickly to not get caught then turned on the light to see the horrors of what Shanae's room consisted of. It contained scratches, blood, and bandages, but Chronoa managed to ignore all that and looked around her room to see anything out of the ordinary. Chronoa tried Shanae's old closet as it only consisted of medical equipment and old, torn clothing. Chronoa then tried the drawers only to reveal old textbooks, writing utensils, and strange drawings of everyone including herself. She then noticed something very strange about Shanae's drawing of a woman with a knife and whip while the little girl has angel wings and a halo. Chronoa took it and kept looking for the final note checking all the drawers until she went to the bed where she finally found the note on one of the pillows where she quickly hid under the bed because Musai came into the room. Musai was in the room for about a minute murmuring about something then went out of the room. Chronoa quickly had to figure out a way to escape when she saw that a wall had not been patched up very well. She opened it up to see a huge tunnel making Chronoa think that Shanae might've used it to escape the house. She went inside and crawled outside then teleported back to the hall of time. Everyone asked if she was alright, but Chronoa said she was fine as she read the final letter. The final letter consisted of explicit detail of how the "mastermind" tortured her throughout her time in Conton City. The smell of blood didn't help the gang either as it spread throughout the room. Chronoa then read the main reason the "mastermind" was abusing her was that she was the older sister. Chronoa then got mad at this because she thought who could torture her like this all because of a petty thing Shanae can't control. The letter then revealed the power of the "mastermind" as she continued to read until it got to the last line which revealed the name of the "mastermind". The gang got ready to hear who this "mastermind" was until Chronoa realized there was a blood spot on the name making everyone agitated. But Chronoa noticed that there was something written on the back in blood. She turned it around to see it was the name written in Morse code. Everyone couldn't understand morse code as the only ones were Shasai, Shanae, and Zenki. Shasai and Zenki were out of the question, so Shanae was the only one who could decipher the code. But they had to wait 3 more weeks until she woke up.

The gang has finally found all the letters meaning they can give them to Shanae. Every day, the group and the others would visit Shanae in her hospital bed telling her that they were sorry for the way they treated Shanae throughout the years. Trunks brought her gifts, cards, and also her belongings to make her feel at home since Shanae would be very cautious and resentful due to the incident. Fast forward to the last day of the 4th week, the group was getting ready for Shanae to wake up from her coma while Musai was getting ready to enhance her malicious plan.

Trunks POV

Today's the day Shanae finally wakes up from her coma making me nervous to see her again after the incident 4 weeks ago. "Question. How is Shanae going to feel after she sees us in the room? We'll give her the belongings, but what about us?" Zamasu said as I spoke up saying, "I have no idea. After the way we treated her back then, I doubt she wants to see us." As the doctor came into the waiting room. "The patient is ready to see you now. Another thing, since she can't talk, we've decided to put in a mind reader to let you guys hear what she wants to say." The doctor said as we were all surprised at Shanae's response. We all got up and went with the doctor to Shanae's hospital room. 'Why would she want to see us?' I thought to myself as I held her stuffed bunny close to me. After about a few minutes of walking, we finally made it into Shanae's room. The doctor opened the door letting us all go inside to see her with her Tokioni's bland eyes open with a neutral look on her face. "Hi...Shanae. How...are you feeling?" I answered nervously as Shanae just looked at me with the mind reader saying, "Nothing. I can't feel anything around my body." As I replied, "The doctor said that due to your neck injury, you've lost the ability to talk, eat, or do anything in the matter." making Shanae not think of anything. "Oh. Where's...Vegeta anyway?" "I'm...here." I heard him reply as I turned around to see him looking away while coming up to Shanae.

I turned away from him in anger after what he did to Shanae back at the celebration. "Is there anything you'd like to tell her, murderer?" "Musai, don't start this crap please." "Why not? He deserves it!" "Would you just shut your filthy mouth for just one second?!" Vegeta said as Musai turned away angrily. "Shanae...I'm sorry for...almost trying to kill you. I don't know what came over me, but I couldn't stop myself for some reason. Can you...forgive me?" Vegeta asked as Shanae smiled lightly then thought, "Vegeta...I forgive you." "WHAT?!" Everyone including me shouted while Vegeta looked at her surprised. "You forgive me? Why?! I almost killed you! Why are you forgiving me?!" "This has got to be some joke! Vegeta almost killed you Shanae!" "You'll understand when you read my book," Shanae said into the mind reader as Kayle looked away. "Vegeta. I know you didn't mean to do it. Don't worry, you'll find out why I forgave you soon." "Thank...you." "Even if she forgives you, I still don't forgive you also." "I also don't forgive you for your actions," I said angrily as I looked back at Shanae. "Anyway... we've found some things for you." "Which is?" "We found 8 notes that belong to you." "Oh! How did you find out about them?!" "Well...Shasai, Pepper, Nanka, and Zenki told us about them." Goten said as Shanae looked at us wide-eyed. "They...told you." "Wait a minute. What 8 notes?! How come I wasn't notified about this?!" Musai said as we didn't say anything. "Because they know. They know what you'd do if you found out about them." Shanae said as Musai looked at her angrily and then got out the syringe. "What are you doing with that syringe? You gonna inject me with it?" "Yep! And I'm taking you to that asylum!" "Try me!" Shanae said into the mind reader as Musai charged at her while I covered her. "Musai, don't do this again!" "Out of my way!" "No!" "Trunks, let me handle this." "I'm not letting you get pummeled aga- Gah!" I tried to explain to her but Musai pushed me out of way hard and injected Shanae with the serum.

Shanae POV

Musai stabbed me with the senzu bean serum that took away my paralysis. I saw that she was going to punch me, but I countered as I grabbed her face and pounced her to the ground. I punched her about 4 times before she kicked me off her making me crash into the ceiling. She then grabbed my hair making me yelp and threw me to the wall. "Guys, stop this!" "Until she agrees to go to the asylum." "Over my dead body!" I shouted as I bashed Musai over the head with my IV bar making her bleed out from the head. "I'm never going to that asylum! It's fucking horrible there! Do you know what they did to me?!" "I don't know and I don't care! Even if you were raped, tortured, or even dead, I'd still say you deserve all those things happening to you!" Musai said as she punched me hard in the face making my nose bleed. I got up for her to bash me over the head with a metal bar making me bleed out severely. "Stay down you monster!" "Musai, stop this right now!" "Damn...you!" I said as I slowly got up from the ground. Musai was going to hit me with the metal bar again, but I took it away from her and tried to bash her on the head again. She used her ki blade and sliced it in half then she slashed one of my eyes with her blade making me scream in pain.

"MUSAI, YOU'RE HURTING HER!" "I DON'T CARE!" "YOU BITCH!" I yelled out as I slapped her very hard making a scar on her cheek. She then kicked me down and pulled my hair hard making me yell out in pain. "SHUT UP!" Musai said she started beating my face to a pulp making blood spew out with each blow. "YOU MONSTER! YOU KILLED NANKA! YOU KILLED PEPPER! YOU KILLED SHASAI! IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF YOU! YOU SHOULD'VE DIED IN THE PLANE CRASH SO I COULD BE HAPPY WITH YOUR SISTER ONLY! NOBODY FUCKING NEEDS YOU! YOU'RE JUST A MISTAKE!" Musai said as she threw me onto the floor. I tried to hold on in my weeps saying, "I-I didn't kill them. It was-AH!" "SHUT UP! DON'T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL! THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT AND I'M GOING TO ENJOY PUTTING YOU BACK IN THAT ASYLUM FOR LIFE THAT YOU'LL NEVER SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY AGAIN!" Musai shouted in my ear as she pinched hard making it bleed while I was whimpering. Just then, I heard someone say, "Let go of her." making me look a bit to see Kayle gripping her forearm tightly while looking at her menacingly. "What?" "I said let her go." "Are you telling me what to do wretch?! Because surely you're not protecting this creature!" "Don't call her that! If you don't let go, I'll break your arm." "You wouldn't." "Try me," Kayle said as she started to squeeze it hard making some popping sounds. Musai finally let go of my ear while I fell to the ground backing away from everyone. "S-stay away from me." I said as Bulma came up to me and said, "Shanae. I'm not going to hurt you. I'm just going to pet you." "Will she..." "Musai isn't going to hurt you anymore. She's just leaving." "What?!" "You heard me. You were just leaving to get some air, right?" "I never-!" "Leave. Now!" Kayle said as she shoved Musai out the door and slammed it in front of her.

Bulma petted me as I felt at ease then she went down to my level and hugged me. "There are bandages in the cabinet next to the bed just in case." I said as I saw Trunks get the bandages from the cabinet and came over to attend to my injury. When he was done, he helped me up from the ground and got me into a chair. "So, I just want to ask." "Go ahead." I said as Trunks held my shoulders and said, "Who was the mastermind you were talking about?" "Do you not get Morse code?" "Most of us don't know Morse code." "Ah. Sadly I won't tell you the name, but I can give you the sheet for Morse code." "But Shanae, we've got to know who she is." "I cannot tell you because of fear." "Fear of what?" I heard Musai say as she looked at me with a sinister grin making me look away scared. "Musai, get out of here!" "Oh hush! After that little stunt, why should I still listen to you?! That's why Nanka is so normal while I looked like a mentally insane person!" I said as tears started to flow while balling my fist. "Shanae. I never-" "Musai is this all true?!" "No! She's lying like she always does! That's what all monsters do! They lie and manipulate! Shanae, you ruin everything good! You always said that you were misunderstood! You keep making all of these moments your own! You have anything to say then-" "JUST FUCKING LEAVE ME ALONE!" I shouted as I powered up to Super Saiyan making the room shake. "I can't keep this conversation going if I'm just going to get patronized! I want all of you to leave, now!" "But, we still have unanswered questions! Did you kill Shasai, Pepper, and Nanka?!" "No, I didn't! Now leave! I don't want to see anyone of you right now!" I shouted as everyone stayed silent and then started to leave, but not before Xeno Goku left my stuffed bunny and book on the hospital bed. After everyone had left, I went over to my bunny and hugged it tight smelling the scent of my brother. I then looked at the book and picked it up then placed it on the table and started writing.

Musai POV

'Who does she think she is?! Calling me a cow! No, I'll do something worse to her when I get my hands on her!' I thought to myself angrily as we reached the waiting room then everyone stopped and looked at me. "Way to go Musai! You've managed to not only hurt Shanae more but now she's lost all her trust in us!" "Why are you guys blaming me?! I am-" "Don't you dare say that you were trying to make her normal or helping her! You did none of those things and you're here trying to make yourself the good guy here?!" Xeno Goku said as I got offended then said, "I'm trying to make her a better person! She's already become insane, so I have no other choice!" "You're not taking her to that asylum and that's final! If you do that, I will shut that place down!" "You wouldn't. Besides, you have no proof making your case invalid!" "Then I guess we'll have to ask Shanae about her time in the asylum." "She's not testifying for you. She's not allowed under my guardianship!" "You still think you own her?! For Kami's sake Musai, she's 19! She's not a little kid anymore!" "Even if she's 19, I'm still her legal guardian AND SHE'S SUPPOSED TO DO WHAT I SAY!" I said angrily as Xeno Gogeta walked up to me and pulled my hair making me face him. "Shanae's not your fucking pet. She's a Saiyan and human like us. And yet you still think you own Shanae like she's your fucking dog?! Kami, you disgust me!" Xeno Gogeta said as he threw me onto the ground and then walked away. Just then, the doctor came into the room and had a note in hand looking at us upset. "Thank goodness you're here! These people have been-!" "Before you say anything, here's the paper." The doctor said angrily as he gave me a paper that forbade only me from seeing Shanae.

"A restraining order?!" "Why would Shanae file a restraining order on us?! We did nothing wrong!" "It's only this woman! The rest of you said you can visit her when she's calmed down, but Musai is banned from seeing her." "What?! I didn't even do-!" "Ma'am, we looked at the footage and it showed that you were the aggressor to the patient! I'm afraid I'm gonna have to ask you to leave the hospital and not come back." "But Shanae needs me! I'm her guardian!" "I don't care! Leave before I call security to escort you out!" "Yeah Musai! Leave! You're not welcome anymore!" Kayle said as everyone told me to leave I yelled then stomped out of the room and slammed the door. "Oh, here's a message from Shanae!" Kayle said as she threw the paper at me and slammed the door. I picked it up and it read,

Dear Musai,

I gave you that restraining order because I am not your toy anymore! I am tired of being in your care and I will revoke your guardianship over me and Nanka. You're not a good person and you never were. You always believed in your philosophy of justice! Let me tell you. Your philosophy is shit. You're a child abuser, manipulator, tormentor, and a disgusting woman getting gratification from little bad kids getting...I don't want to talk about it. You're a horrible, narcissistic, cruel, mean, and bitchy cow brat who only cared about herself and never for others.

I'll make you repay your debt from the last 8 years.

I read the letter and something broke inside me as I crumpled it up and threw it at the hospital window almost breaking it. I flew off in a rage to my house screaming all kinds of insults. I opened the door and went inside my room only to go on a rampage and destroy everything I first saw. After a while, I calmed down and went to my other room to get out my gear for my final resort. "She's just lost her last chance. She's getting put down tonight and I'll take over her life as the new Shanae! I'll purify this world of this wretch. My utopia will be perfect!" I said as I laughed manically and then started plotting her trip to the asylum.

Artic POV

The gang went out of the hospital to let Shanae calm down after getting beat up by Musai and pressured her to confess her reason for shutting herself. Shanae was in her hospital room still writing out her information in her journal while also sorting all of her notes together to give to her messenger. Trunks and Xeno Goku were the only ones who still visited her every day to try and have a conversation with her with the door separating them. Shanae wouldn't talk much as she used to before due to the trust she lost for all of them. She would only just greet them and let Xeno Goku do most of the talking but leave out the vital information about Shanae's past and journal. He would also try and persuade her to try and let him in to work it out, but that would be proven futile since Shanae is too skeptical. Trunks knew he had to gain her trust back, so he decided to get her some gifts to cheer her up. Shanae would accept the gifts being manner but was not fond of getting social with the two of them. The truth was that Shanae never opened them, instead, she just put them on her desk and just keep writing. This went on for about 2 weeks as Shanae finally finished the last piece of information about the scandal, but this was the day when Musai would do the unforgivable to Shanae and make everyone realize what she was hiding. Musai had already mastered her plan as she was on her way to the hospital to enhance her plan. She first needed to paralyze Shanae by injecting a paralyzing serum in her, then she would put Shanae in a wheelchair and then wheel her out of the hospital and take her to her asylum in an unknown room where nobody can find her. Musai would also replace Shanae with a made-up clone she would make to throw others off the trail and never find Shanae. But first, she had to disguise herself as one of the nurses since she was banned from seeing her.

Shanae POV

"I finally finished! I finally finished my deal! Now I just need to give this to the messenger and it will all be over!" I said excitedly as I closed the book and dropped the pen on the desk. I looked at my stuffed bunny and went over to it to cut it open with a ki blade then inserted the book and pictures inside it. I then patched it up to cover the incision and placed it under my hospital bed, but then I thought of the gifts Trunks gave me when I was in my room all day. "Maybe I should open them. Just to be curious." I said to myself as I went back to my desk and opened the first gift to see it was a little box. I opened it to see it was earrings with clock designs on them. "He got this for me?" I questioned as I put them on and then looked at the mirror to see it was beautiful on me. "I...look so cute," I said as I tilted my head making the clocks tingle. Just then, the window suddenly opened making all the papers scattered around the room. "Oh no. The papers! I can't lose them yet!" I said as I got up from the chair and grabbed the papers one by one. I continued grabbing the papers as 3 of them were gonna fly out the window. I snatched 2 of them and the third one was out of the window, but I snatched it right in time before it was far gone. "Whew! That was close." I said as I put the papers in one of the wardrobes and sealed it with a lock. "I think I'm ready for visitations today. Maybe I should tell them the actual truth." "In which will never happen!" I heard someone say as my mouth was covered while something sharp pierced my skin making a sudden hot feeling go through me. I pushed the person off from behind me and looked to see it was a nurse.

"Who the hell are you?!" "What do you mean? I'm just a nurse." The nurse answered as I then felt my body become stiff and numb making me fall onto the ground. The nurse came up to me and pulled her mask off revealing Musai. "You...bitch!" I managed to get a sentence out before my mouth became stiff making me unable to talk. "I managed to paralyze you completely, but your organs are still functioning properly. Don't worry, I'll make sure no one will ever find you again." Musai said as she carried my body and put me in a wheelchair. She then started to wheel me out of the hospital room and down the hall while I was trying to move. "I'm taking you to my asylum no matter what people say. Besides, no one will miss you anyway. I'm putting you in an unknown room where no one will find you again. Maybe I can invite that man since you have so much fun with him." Musai said as I got wide-eyed thinking about those horrible memories again. I looked at the nurses and doctors to try and get their attention, but they seemed to be too busy with their duties while Musai just kept wheeling me. 'Someone?! Anybody?! Help me! I don't want to go there again!' 'No one will help you. You'll stay in that asylum for life. I'll be the new Shanae to everyone and as long as I'm your guardian, no one will ever stop me! That money's too much for a young girl like you! I'm taking that money because I am more mature than you! You're just going to spend it all on stupid stuff! Don't worry, you'll get your inheritance when there's nothing left!' Musai said as I struggled to try and move, but I only managed to move my fingers in both hands.

"Um, nurse? What are you doing with the patient?" One of the doctors said as we stopped moving. "I'm just taking her to get fresh air." "But, the patient isn't ready to leave yet. She's due for her daily checkup." "She said she wanted to get fresh air. Ain't that right Shanae?" "Ma'am! How did you know the patient's name?! We're supposed to address them by their last name." "U-uh, look I have to leave now," Musai said as she tried to move the wheelchair, but it was stopped again by the doctor. "I need to address the patient to see if she wants to go outside." "But-!" "No buts ma'am!" The doctor said as he came in front of me and looked at me worried. "Miss. Anderson, do you want to go outside?" The doctor questioned me as I tried to move my head, but I could only move it a little. 'Think, Shanae, Think! What can I do to convince him she's not a nurse!' I thought as I looked around frantically then I remembered I can move my fingers and now my hands. 'Morse Code! Normally, I would use sign language to communicate, but I can't make it obvious to Musai.' I thought as I started tapping the armrest while also holding it down. "I see. Hey, Dr. Yamoshi! You're needed!" The doctor called out as Dr. Yamoshi came and saw me communicate in morse code. "She's saying the nurse is not a real nurse! Her name is Musai and she's violating the restraining order I gave her. She's taking me to the asylum where they do horrible things to me!" "What?!" The doctor said frantically as Dr. Yamoshi called on the walkie-talkie while the doctor pushed the button. Musai used her ki blade to injure them then went to me and pushed me quickly. 'Damn it, Shanae! Thanks to you, I have a hard time escaping. Damn it! Where's the exit?!' Musai thought as she rushed through the hall. After a while, she made it to the stairs where I started to feel my legs again. She was going to go down, but I used one of my legs to stop the wheelchair in its place. "What the?! Come on!" Musai said angrily as I held my leg firmly in place. Just then, there was security down the stairs while I heard security behind me. "Freeze! Don't move a muscle! Give us the patient and you'll be escorted out of the building gently. Anything you do will lead to forceful escorts out of the hospital and possible charges." One of the security guards said as they all drew out their guns.

I then started to feel my head and body starting to move to make me take advantage of the situation as I got up from the wheelchair. I tried to run away, but my vision was blurry from sitting too long and my body still trying to regain its feeling. "I'm trying to do what's good for society! Can't you see she's a monster that just needs to be locked away?!" "All you ever did was cause trouble for this young lady!" The doctor said as I ran away from the scene, but Musai teleported to me and grabbed my hand. "You're not going anywhere! You're going to that asylum and I'll make sure you'll be dead!" "Ma'a, let go of the patient!" "Never! I'm taking her to my asylum! My utopia will finally be realized!" Musai said as I struggled to get out of her grip, but she just held tighter and held me in a chokehold. "Ma'am I'm not asking you again! Release the patient now!" "No! Let me do what I want! I am a good person who is helping the patient!" "You were never a good person, to begin with." "Shut up!" Musai said as she hit me on the head and in return, I bit her arm hard drawing blood making her release me. I got up slowly as she charged at me pushing me to the glass rail. "This is all your fault! I'm supposed to be the hero of this story!" "You were a villain to me. You're so delusional that you can't even go one minute without screaming at me." I said as I kicked her away from me, but then she created a blast at me in which I blocked it but it sent me flying through the glass rail. I yelled and closed my eyes waiting for the impact, but I felt someone from behind as we both landed on the ground hard. I opened my eyes to see glass shards everywhere with blood while huge arms were around my waist. I tried to get up, but my legs were paining me making me look down to see some of the glass pierced my skin. "Shanae! Are you alright?! Are you hurt anywhere?!" I heard Xeno Goku say as he got up from the ground and checked my legs. "Let go of me! I'm the hero of this story! What I say goes! I want to take her to that asylum!" "You're not seeing my daughter again!" Xeno Goku said as he got in front of me while the security took Musai away. "Shanae!" "Trunks?" I said as he came up to me while I looked down and away from him. "Are you...oh." "My...legs." "We'll get you back to your room." Xeno Gogeta said as they were going to carry me, but then we felt a shake, then it turned into a rumble. "What was that?!" Flute said as the hospital now started shaking again with cracks appearing around it.

"THE HOSPITAL IS COLLAPSING!" RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!" The doctors said as they all scattered to try and escape. "My books!" I said as I ran up the stairs ignoring the calls. I dodged every doctor and nurse while some were pushing the patients out of the rooms. "I have to get them before it's too late!" I said as I ran faster ignoring the pain in my legs and making turns around the halls. After a few moments, I got to my room and bust the door open as I went in and got the bunny and papers under the bed. Just then, I heard children scream making me realize there were children still in the hospital. I rushed out of the room before it crumbled and ran to the source to see 3 children stuck under the rubble. "Help us!" "We're trapped!" "We can't breathe!" "I'll get you out of here! Hold on!" I said as I dropped my stuff and then used my defense called the Electric Shockwave which blew the rubble away freeing the kids. "Thank you!" "No problem! We have to hurry! Follow me!" I told them as I carried my stuff on my back and then led the children through the halls. I noticed the kids were running slow, so I decided to stop and let them hold my hand while the youngest was on my back. "Get ready! This will be a rough journey!" I told them as they held on tight while I zoomed past the hallways in the phase of an electrical spark.

After a while, we finally got to the stairs as the exit was just within our reach. "Come one! We're almost there!" I told them as I took them downstairs and ran to the exit, but that was all over as some of the rubble landed in front of the exit. "The exit!" "No! I don't want to die!" I heard the kids cry as I tried to calm them down, but suddenly the whole hospital collapsed on us as I huddled the children together and created a forcefield around us with some of the poles penetrating my body. I looked up to see dust everywhere as I got rid of the shield and looked around to see rubble, glass, human remains, and other stuff. I looked down at the kids and said, "Are you guys ok?" as the kids looked up at me nodding then the 1st child said, "You're hurt! We'll get an adult to help!" "I...don't think it's possible guys." "Don't say that! You saved us! We want to do the same for you!" The second child said as I smiled while taking off the bunny with the book and notes inside giving it to them then said, "If you want to save me, go try to find a man with purple hair and blue eyes and a man with black, spikey hair with red clothing. Avoid a woman with white hair and green skin." "W-why?" "Because she's a bad per-!" I was going to finish my sentence, but then I felt something going through my chest as the children screamed and cried. I looked down at my chest to see a blue ki blade going through my heart making me cough up a lot of blood. "Stay away from them you monster! You don't deserve to be the hero! I do!" Musai said as she took out the blade from my chest and got in front of me. "Follow me, kids, I know the way out of here." "NO!" "STAY AWAY FROM US YOU MEANIE!" "YOU VILLAIN!" "Kids, I'm not going to ask you again. Follow me!" "NEVER! GET AWAY FROM US!" The first child said as he took the other 2 and ran away.

I chuckled while Musai turned around looking at me sinisterly. "Even the kids know you're a bad person." "Shut up! You told them I was a bad person! I'm a good person damn it!" "Tch! You've lost yourself in your shitty philosophy. Everyone will know soon what you've done for the last years of your life!" "Not if I can help it! I'LL KILL YOU! I'LL JUST DO IT AGAIN TO FINISH YOU OFF!" Musai said as she grabbed my arm and sliced it off making me scream in pain. She then stabbed me in my left eye and gouged it out making me scream in agony. She did the same with the other eye and chopped off my leg then started stabbing me multiple times, then left me sitting lifelessly on a rock slab. "No one will stop me and you'll be out of everyone's lives," Musai said as she poured gasoline all over me and turned the lighter on dropping it where I was making me go ablaze. "YOU DUMBASS! YOU BRAT! DO YOU REALIZE WHAT YOU'VE DONE?! YOU'VE DOOMED US ALL!" "I NEED THAT MONEY SOMEHOW AND KILLING YOU IS GOING TO GET IT! I SHOULD'VE KILLED YOU WHEN I HAD THE CHANCE, BUT YOU'VE ALWAYS HAD THE GODS ON YOUR SIDE! Now lay there and die!" "YOU'RE A CRUEL BRAT! NO ONE WILL FUCKING BELIEVE YOU WHEN I GET THROUGH WITH YOU! I failed to save everyone.' I thought as my vision started to fade to black.

Trunks POV

"What do you mean you can't find Shanae?!" "I'm sorry sir, but the rubble is just too much! We have to let the dust settle down!" "But she was in there! Can't you at least use something to get past the dust?!" "Trunks calm down! They're trying their best to make sure everyone is ok!" "But Shanae was in the rubble! I won't stop until she's ok!" I said to Kayle as I still questioned one of the rescuers when I heard one say, "Attention! 3 figures are heading our way!" As I looked to see 3 children covered in dirt and blood making some of the rescuers go to them to make sure they were ok. Just then, one of the children spots me and comes up to me holding Shanae's rabbit plush. "Are you the guy our hero was talking about?!" "Who?" "She had black hair with yellow eyes." The kid said as I realized it was Shanae then said, "Is she ok?!" "N-no! She had something go through her chest by a meanie! I can show you where she is!" The kid said as he took my hand while Ginger used her arrow to try and clear the dust making the wreckage more visible. He led me through the wreckage making turns and avoiding shards. "Shanae?! Shanae?!" "The meanie stabbed her in the chest! She should be here some-NO!" The kid said as he ran making me catch up to him also. "Shanae! Shanae are you-!" I was going to finish my sentence, but I was met with horrific sight as I saw a Shanae burnt beyond recognition, her arm and leg cut off, and her eyes gouged out. I didn't realize at the time that the child and I were both screaming at the same time while I fell to my knees in front of her corpse.

Just when the dust was about to clear up, I crawled to her with tears forming and dripping down my face. I carried her burnt body and tried to wake her up. "Shanae?! Shanae?! I told you I'd be here for you! Please wake up!" "Trunks!" I was too focused on trying to get Shanae to wake up that I ignored the calls of others. "Trunks! Is Shanae-!" "OH DEAR GOD!" "SHANAE NO!" I heard the others as they saw me holding her body. "Shanae? This isn't funny! You've defied death multiple times! You're going to be alright! Right?! Right?! Wake up! I know you're just sleeping." I said as I shook her little by little. Just then, I felt a faint breath from her as I took off my jacket and covered her upper body. "T...ru." "Shanae. Please don't say anything. We can get you help. Just hold on a little longer." "The....boo..k. Re...ad the....book....the...ch...ild has...it. Plushie....rabbit." "Shanae, please hold on! I don't want to lose you!" "I'm.....sorry.....I....love.....you." Shanae breathed out her final words as her heartbeat stopped then she closed her eyes with a smiled on her face. "Shanae?! Shanae?! Please! Don't die on me! I'm sorry! Don't die! I can fix this! We can all fix this! We can-!" "T-trunks. I think it's time we come to terms that Shanae is...." "No! I don't want to hear it! She's just sleeping! Shanae, you can wake up now!" "Trunks. We have to let her go." "No!" "Trunks, Face it! She's dead!" "But we can revive her with the dragon balls right?!" I questioned as Xeno Gogeta looked away then Musai said, "We can't. Once a goddess dies, they can't be revived with the dragon balls. That's Olympus rules." "Bullshit! You're saying that because she was a good person and you weren't!" "It's the truth!" "Sir. I'm afraid we're going to have to take her away." "N-no! She needs-!" "Trunks! We have to leave now! Shanae's dead and we have to move on!" Musai said as she grabbed my hand hard and dragged me away from her. "NO! LET ME GO! SHANAE NEEDS ME! SHE'S JUST SLEEPING! SHANAE!" I called out to her, but mother, Kayle, and Vegeta just took me away from Shanae while she was taken by the rescuers.

"Shanae! Please wake up! I'm sorry I failed to save you! Please...wake up."

Musai POV

I saw Trunks get taken away from the others while Shanae's corpse was taken with the rescuers. Just then I got a phone call from an unknown number making me pick it up and reply.

???: You finally managed to kill Shanae! Great job!

Musai: It was easy peasy. When do I get repaid for my services?

???: When you get rid of that book and plushie. Shanae knew too much and that child has it.

Musai: I'll try to get the book away from the child as possible.

???: You better! We're already ahead in our first part of the phase.

Musai: You better give me back Nanka, Pepper, and Shasai.

???: Well...they're already going through phase one of our plan. So I don't think that's possible.

Musai: what?! But we made a deal!

???: Well, how else was I supposed to get power? Anyway gotta go. Bye!

The phone cut as I smashed it then calmed myself to not get anyone suspicious. I walked away from the wreckage to catch up with the others while hiding the smile on my face.

"I finally got rid of that monster! Now, this is my chance to become the hero of this arc!"

So...it all ends here...despite surviving the impossible...Shanae has now become the 4th victim in her own web and someone else's manipulation.
