Last time on Dragon Ball ZX

Shanae and the gang are now getting ready for the party that's tomorrow night but they all have to be wary as the trio Skadi, Saltin, and Okara are panning something sinister that involves the killings of Shasai, Nanka, Pepper, and Shaane herself as they want to start their plan with the Universal New Years Party. Now, today's the day where everyone will now see events unfold as there will be a tragedy and a secret revealed.

12 hours before the party

Shanae POV

I felt a throbbing pain around my body as I started to wake up due to the dreams I keep having. 'What...happened?' I thought as I slowly got up from bed and felt around my body to feel bandages and one of my eyes covered. "I guess Pepper kind of healed me." I said as I used my other eyesight and looked all over the room then saw Trunks on the other bed still sleeping as I remembered what happened last night when Vegeta was beating me up too much that I got knocked out. "I'm guessing he really did keep his promise to protect me." I said as I got up from the bed and walked over to Trunks' bed. I patted his head to see if he was ok as he turned around making me smile a bit then I went out the room closing the door behind me. I went downstairs to see no one in the kitchen as I decided I'll make breakfast for everyone, so I decided get out the cooking supplies as i started heating the pan then I got out some pancake mix with other ingredients as I started to make pancakes. Just then I felt myself being hugged tight then carried away from the kitchen as I was put on the couch. I looked up to see it was Nanka who looked at me sad as I said, "Is something wrong Nanka?" As she hugged me crying into my chest as I patted her back then she said, "I almost lost you! I almost lost my only family all because I couldn't do anything! I'm such a terrible sister!" As I hugged her tight then said, "No you're not! You're the best sister I can ever have! You've helped me with my motivation! You're the reason why I still have motivation in my life." "Really?" Nanka asked as I nodded as she hugged me tight then said, "You're the best sister ever!" As I smiled then yawned, but then I smelled smoke as I looked over at the stove to see it was on fire. "Shit I forgot about the pans!" I said as I got up from the couch then dashed to the kitchen.

I turned off the stove and poured baking soda all over the pan to extinguish the fire then sighed in relief as I saw Pepper and Shasai come downstairs. "Is everything ok?!" "Are you guys hurt?!" Pepper and Shasai said as I calmed them down then said, "We're fine guys. I was just trying to cook but Nanka need my support for her emotions, then I guess I forgot it was still on." as Pepper sighed in relief then said, "Maybe I should do the cooking today. I don't want my little time warrior to get hurt for the big day." "U-um I lost my powers remember?" "Well I don't consider Okara a time wielder. She's such a control freak, ruder, heck even sadistic." Pepper said as I giggled then she turned and went to the kitchen to continue cooking. I went to the couch and turned on the TV to watch some morning cartoons with Nanka and Shasai as we all thought about the party happening tonight. "First schedule on our list is to get our hair done, then test out the kiminos I got for all of you, and then get the stations ready for tonight." I said as I got my booklet out and started to write down the to-do list to make sure the party went smoothly.

"Are you sure you can do everything in your schedule?" "I'm sure of it! Besides, I just want this party to go well for everyone so we don't have any problems to cause for ourselves." I said as Shasai looked at me worriedly then sighed as I patted her back to cheer her up. "So when do we start?" "We start at noon because someone of us will take long at the hair stylist, then we should finish by about 2:30 PM to try out the dresses, and finally we should finish the dressings at 5:00 because sometimes I need to double check the sizes so we should be able to spend the rest of our time getting the party ready in the secret location." I said as Pepper finished cooking then brought the food to us while Shasai looked at me with glee. "I wonder, Shanae are we still gonna be doing the talent show?" Nanka said as I answered with, "Actually, Chronoa said that we have to do a host solo talent show due to the incident that happened 2 years ago." "Oh yeah." Nanka said as I giggled then we all started to eat our breakfast. I then heard the phone ring as shasai picked it up and answered. "Hello?" Shasai said as Pepper asked who it was then Shasai got mad and whispered to Pepper's ear as she also got mad then walked to me and grabbed my hand and teleported me to my room.

Shasai POV

Shasai: Hello Vegeta.

Vegeta: I just need to ask you one question about this...party Kayle wants to go to.

Shasai: Which is?

Vegeta: Is...Shanae gonna be there? Because Kayle does not want to see her anymore and neither do I.

Shasai: ....

Vegeta: I said is Shanae gonna be there?

Shasai: N-n

Vegeta: Spit it out already! Because if she is there, then she's gonna die.

Shasai: N-n-no. No she's not gonna be at the party because she's not feeling well.

Vegeta: hmph! As she should be. Well that's all I wanted to say. See you at the party.

Shasai: You...to.

Vegeta: Oh. And if you're lying, you'll die with her to.

Vegeta hung up as I dropped the phone then started to panic because Shanae was the host for the party this year and I lied to him putting her life on the line. 'Vegeta is gonna kill Shanae and I because of my little lie. What the hell should I do?! She's the host of the party and we can't break the tradition! Besides, it's her first one to host since Nanka went last year.' I thought frantically as I didn't notice someone was behind me as I felt a touch on my shoulder then I turned around to see Zamasu. "Oh! Dear don't scare me like that." "You weren't responding to any of my calls so I had to make sure you were alright." Zamasu said as I looked away exhausted but still thought about the lie I made up to Vegeta. Zamasu took me onto the couch then put me onto his lap as he cuddled me close to him. "Is something the matter dear?" "...yeah. It's just that...I kind of lied to Vegeta about Shanae not going to the party and if he finds out, he'll kill me also. I want to ignore it but I just can't help thinking about it." "Dear. You remember the promise I made to you. That I would protect you with my life and you would protect me with your life?" "Yeah." "I would never let that mortal lay a hand on you. If he did, he'd be dead already." Zamasu said as I smiled a bit then said, "Didn't I say no killing other humans?" As Zamasu kissed my cheek making me blush then I heard Pepper and Shanae come downstairs in their casual clothes but shanae had sunglasses on as I then forgot then said, "I'm gonna get ready for the day today, could you please get the boys to get ready dear?" "Ok I'll make sure we'll be ready on time." Zamasu said as I smiled then I got up and teleported to the bathroom and started to get myself ready.

A few minutes later

After I was done putting on makeup, I went downstairs to meet up with the girls who were all waiting at the door. "Sorry I took so long guys." "It's fine. It's the boys we have to wait on next." Shanae said quietly as we both saw the boys come with their casual clothes on for the cold winter. "Are you guys ready?" "Yes we are." "Good now we can start the schedule." Shanae said as we all went out of the house and flew to the hair salon.

Artic Montage

The gang went out to the hair salon at the exact time of 10:30 PM where the girls did their hair for the party. Nanka had her pig tails in space buns as they had a leaf decoration to represent her ability of nature, Pepper had her hair into a bun with snowflake clips around her hair to show her winter godliness, Shasai had a French braid going down to her thighs with skull clips and black ribbons in the braid to show her deathly appearance, and Shanae had her hair in half braids with her hair wavy and yellow ribbons and lighting clips to show the lighting hue she has. Shasai and Pepper requested that the hairdresser put the clock clippings in Shanae's hair because even though she lost her abilities, they still considered her as a time descendant and so they did since Shanae knew that there would be no point arguing with them as they hated Okara so much. After a few hours of decorating, the girls and boys were done with their hair styles as they all finished at 2:30 PM. However, Shanae asked one of the hairdressers to giver her a box of lighting and clock clips and they obliged giving her a box with them together. They then went to the dressing shop for their kimonos as Shanae had the Kimonos designed based on their abilities. Shanae first told the gang to try out their kimonos as they did and they all fit very well to Shanae's surprise. Shanae decided to spice up the looks as she gave each of them a flower of each with Nanka getting a Sakura, Pepper getting a winter flower, and Shasai getting a Death rose as they were all fascinated by their looks. Shanae also wanted to do something about the boys uniforms as they had something to represent themselves so she decided to get them props for them. For Trunks she got him a sword since he had a promise, a winter sword because Gogeta and Tommy committed themselves to protect Pepper from harm, and death scythe for Zamasu because he made a promise to protect Shasai with his life.

After for some time of buying and getting more props, Shanae and the gang finally registered all the props and kimonos as Shanae wanted to send them to the others but the gang volunteered to help her as they teleported to everyone else's house and gave them their stuff then when Shanae looked at the time, it was already 5:30 PM due to the deliveries and so she told then that they had to go to the party where it was set up in a secret location. Shasai created a portal and pushed them all in there as the portal closed on them to reveal the party still intact. Shanae went everywhere around the party to make sure everything was not tampered with and after a few minutes of checking, they find out nothing has been tampered as the party can now begin.

Shanae POV

"Ok that should conclude the day, now it's just to wait as it's 6:00 PM and we should start in one hour." I said as Shasai hugged me tight saying, "Dear you know you've been looking forward to this event." "Y-yeah." "What's wrong dear? You don't look too excited." Shasai said as I sighed then said, "I'm just....worried. What if everyone still hates me after what I've done? What if nobody comes to the party? What if-!" As I was gonna finish another question but Shasai hugged again and said, "Shanae don't worry, as long as you try to have fun, nothing can happen." "But what about Vegeta? He always goes all his way to humiliate me and even worse try to kill me." "Dear that won't ever happen because we're gonna keep an eye on him 24/7 to make sure he doesn't harm you." Shasai said as I smiled a bit but then remembered something as I went to my tent and got out a hat with a black veil and a mask with an oni face as I put them on and went out to meet up with the gang. "Dear? What are you doing?" "I just figured since I don't want to agitate anyone, I just need to hide myself so nobody will recognize me." "But Shanae, nobody's mad at you anymore. Please stop trying to mke you and others uncomfortable." Pepper said as I sighed then asked, "Pepper, have I ever told you that I heard Shasai's conversation with Vegeta?" "Wait, what?!" "Yeah, you remember that if someone is blind, their other senses get enhanced? My hearing literally went off the charts and I heard Shasai's conversation since she lied to Vegeta about me not coming to the party because I'm sick. Shasai don't worry I'm not mad at you but please tell me before you plan something because now he wants to kill you and I can't lose another close friend." "Dear, don't worry. Zamasu can protect me from him." "You sure?" "Yes Shanae. Besides you know gods are more powerful than Saiyans." Shasai said as I giggled then said, "Ok but tell me when something goes wrong." "Ok dear." Shasai replied as I smiled under the mask then went into my tent where all my old stuff were.

"I just need this bit if information then I can avenge get the fallen." I said to myself as I got out my secret journal then wrote down my information and personal thoughts on there. Just then I remembered the animatronic check ups as I quickly closed the book then went out the tent to check up on the old animatronic bunny called Bon Bon to see if it was working correctly. I took off the mask and started working the controls to see the functions if they're performing normally. I checked out the arms and legs to see they're working properly, then the dance routine, and lastly the face to see there was a problem with the jaw. "There's something about the jaw that's making me feel uneasy." I said to myself as I went up to the bunny animatronic and then grabbed a wooden stick and stuck it into the mouth then it's eyes glowed red and it closed on the stick hard snapping part of it off. I was so shooked that I fell to the ground making the mask come off and looked at it terrified. "Shanae are you ok?" I heard Trunks ask as I turned around and saw him come to me and help me up. "I'm fine. Just startled." I replied to him as I looked back at the animatronic.

"Is something wrong?" I heard Trunks say as I looked back at him and said, "Oh no just startled." "Shanae?" Trunks said as he looked at me sternly then sighed and said, "It's just the animatronic. I tested to see what was wrong with it so I decided to put a stick in its mouth and I found out that the jaw is kind of malfunctioning. I'm guessing it has something to do with it's sensor because if a child were to put themselves there, then the sensor would activate and not chomp down on that child." "That's a big problem." "Yeah and the kids love her so I'll try to fix her jaw before someone gets brutally hurt because it can actually break anyone's skull due to the springlocks and strong teeth." I said as I went back to the old tent and got the tool box then went back to the animatronic. "Can I help?" Trunks asked as I looked at him confused then said, "Do you know how it works?" "I don't work on robots for nothing." "Ok but try not to get me exposed to people." I said as Trunks nodded then started to help me with the robot.

Pepper POV

'Shanae's been acting so weird lately.' I thought to myself as I watched Shanae with Trunks. 'I wonder what she's hiding. Even though I made a promise to not snoop around, I just can't wait any longer.' I thought as I left the group then went into Shanae's tent to look for something that could reveal it. 'If I were Shanae, where would I keep all my secrets?' I thought as I scanned through the room then saw a book on the table as I went to it and scrolled through the pages. "This might be it." I said as I put it in my dress then went out of the tent quickly to meet up with my husband. "Dear where did you go?" Gogeta said as I giggled then said, "I just went to the bathroom." As Gogeta looked at me confused then said, "Pepper, are you lying?" "No." "Are you sure?" "Yes honey I'm telling the truth." I said sternly as Gogeta shrugged then said, "If you say so. Now c'mon we have guests to meet." As I realized it was almost time for the new years party to start. "I wonder if we'll meet your twin again." I said jokingly as Gogeta blushed then said, "I'm still stronger!" "Sure you are! You're my husband!" As Gogeta lifted me up from the ground kissed me making me kiss back then I heard Nanka say, "Can't you guys do it somewhere private?" As we stopped kissing then I replied with, "Our love is too strong for each other!" "Then how come I can't get a date?" "You will when someone chooses you." Shasai said as she patted Nanka's back then Gogeta put me down and Shasai took me to a location where the gang couldn't look. "Did you find anything in Shanae's tent?" Shasai asked as I brought out the book from my kimono and gave it to her. "She keeps all the information here when I checked. Are you sure we have to do this?" "It's the only way to find out Shanae's secret." Shasai said as she opened the book with me and read all the information Shanae wrote down. "So this is basically her diary. This ranges from when she first came to Conton City." I said as we read more into her life as we were horrified for what's she been through from the private school, the rehabilitation center, the multiverse tournament, everything and everyone treated her horribly to the point they broke her. "It's no wonder Shanae's been so quiet. It's no wonder she couldn't stand up for herself. It's no wonder shes been feeling hopeless!" Shasai said as she gave the book to me then walked up to the tree and punched it bringing the whole thing down. "Shasai calm down. I know you're mad but we can't let the others know about this and we must not make a scene." I said as she turned around at me angrily and said, "Do you realize what those people have done? They've broke Shanae and Nanka! Shanae took the most of it and we couldn't help her over the years! I should've payed more attention to her if she was going through all that throughout her childhood." "Shasai. It's not your fault. You were oblivious to what Shanae went through. I mean she's always quiet." "What if they made her silent? Huh?" "It's possible." "L-lets just try and read the book because I'm too freaking mad right now." Shasai said as we kept reading into her diary as it talked about the incident in which she wrote in full detail on what happened on that day. Then it got so suspicious because it then started to talk about Aiones roles in her life as a dictator, a tyrant, and a manipulator. "I knew Aiones had something to do with Shanae's childhood." I said angrily as I kept reading until we got to the last page where it revealed the truth about Shanae. "Oh...my... goodness." "I can't believe it." "She's gonna pay big time. Aiones will not succeed in her plan." "We have to keep this a secret from everyone. Me, Shanae, and you are the only ones who know about this." "So...you guys read it?" I heard someone say as I looked back to see Nanka looking at us sternly and angry as she snatched the book from us. "Do guys realize what we've done?! We've become enemy #1 on her hit list!" "What do you mean we?!" Shasai said as Nanka looked away and replied, "I also happened to find out Shanae's secret and now I'm on Aiones' hit list. But that doesn't matter. We have to get out of here before they find us." Nanka said frantically as we all heard Gogeta and Zamasu call our names.

"We'll discuss about this later. We need to act like nothing is wrong. And most of all....we have to be careful." Nanka said as Shasai and I both nodded and went out of the location and met up with Zamasu and Gogeta. "Where were you guys?" Tommy said as I replied with, "We were just talking about how great the party will be my little knight." As Tommy was confused then Gogeta looked at me sternly making me look at him sternly also as I couldn't let him know the truth about what I was doing. "Guys! The guests are about to come! Remember the positions we discussed while I get the mascot ready." We all heard Shanae say as we all got in our positions with me as the greeter, Shasai the announcer, Nanka the tour guide, and all the other girls with their new years concession stands. "Pepper. Are you ready?" Gogeta asked as I looked at him smiling then said, "Yes dear I'm ready." As we both opened the door then saw all the guests come from each universe and our friends come as we both greeted them letting Nanka guide the group to the festival.

"Now I have bigger problems to deal with. But I will fight for my friends and family."

The day has finally reached its big event of the Universal New Years Party as everyone is now looking forward to having fun. Shasai and Pepper have now become targets of Aiones' plan due to their curiosity as Nanka had to tell them the danger of finding out Shanae's secret. But what was it that Shanae was trying to keep that it would make them targets of the Olympus realm? Will Shasai, Pepper, and Nanka survive to see the new year? Will the party end in fun or tragedy?
