Ryu was outside of the shelter holding surviving people, simply just spinning a knife on his finger.

Shojo: You sure you don't wanna go back in?

Ryu: -_- Shojo, even if they know I'm not him, I still have the face of the monster that's been destroying their lives and universe. Like it or not, I'm not gonna make them look at the face they probably see in their nightmares.

Shojo: ... *Sigh* You're way to kind to your core you know that?

Ryu: Good with the bad Sho. Good with the bad.

He stopped spinning the knife, looking at his reflection. Just for a moment, he thought he had seen a younger version of himself, with a dark expression.

Ryu: Great, it's like all the bad things from my past have started catching up to me.

He seemed slightly saddened, frowning slightly. Right as he did, he felt the sides of his mouth being forcibly pulled up. He looked up, seeing the cause was Shojo herself.

Shojo: Come on, no getting sad over your past anymore!

Ryu: Okay I don't ever complain about the things that really tear into me, how come I can't even frown?!!

Shojo: Because, once you start, you'll never stop! Exactly like Qrow's drinking.

Ryu felt his cheeks being pinched, before grabbing Shojo by the back of the collar, and placing her beside him.

Ryu: Remind me how a spirit that was supposed to vanish after my first death ended up getting an annoyingly therapeutic personality?

Shojo: Kaiser not wanting another soul in him to vanish, and N ending up permanently fusing us. That, and me ending up with part of his and YOUR personality.

Ryu: -_- I was being sarcastic and you know it.

Shojo: Again, your personality's in there too. So who better?

Ryu rolled his eyes, before smiling.

Ryu: Alright, no more getting down on myself.

Shojo smiled as well, playfully punching Ryu on the arm.

Shojo: Good. By the way, when do you plan to fix the timezones in the past?

Ryu: Wait, didn't I already do that?

Shojo: Well you did once, but there was that one time where you used Erasing Slash again, and then the Karma incident.

Ryu: ... Oh no.

PAST REMNANT

In Patch, Yang was dealing with a few bandits, with Tyson watching her do so, reading a book.

Yang: Tyson, do you know what I just realized?

Tyson: That we've literally gotten one appearance in this story?

Yang: Huh? What the- No not that! It's the fact that in the 2 years that's passed since the others left, apparently 13 have gone by for them! My little sister is actually older than me by that logic!

Tyson: Actually, now that you mention it, it does feel pretty weird having my twin be older than me too. Could've sworn Ryu already took care of that though.

Yang ducked, before punching the air, with a burst of wind knocking down the rest of the bandits.

Yang: Shot in the dark, maybe he had to face someone that made him do it again.

BACK IN THE FUTURE

Ryu: OH COME ON!!! It took me like 3 round trips on Shenron to fix that damage!!

???: Hold on, 3?

Azure flew up, landing beside Ryu.

Azure: What we're the other 2 for?

Shojo: You see the first trip, Shenron couldn't undo the damage. So Ryu wished to upgrade the dragon once the first year, and then AGAIN the year after.

Ryu: Argh!! Karma I swear to any one of the Gods if you tried to do the Erasing Slash for any reason I'm gonna rip your tail off!

???: Uhhh, you're talking about the past me right?

The future red haired Bio Android flew up to the roof.

Ryu: -_-

Karma: I'll take that as a yes.

Ryu: *Sigh* Anyway I haven't been able to ask this, but how've you been holding up.

Karma: Meh, I've been better. Could've done better without the deaths though.

Ryu: Oh no I wholeheartedly agree there. Do you know how much less trauma I would have?

Karma: Yeah most of it would be gone.

Ryu: Anyway, it's been a day. I doubt Black will sit still much longer.

Karma: But how will we find him?

Ryu: We won't. If I just flex a little power, he'll come right to us.

TIME SKIP!!

Kina: You sure this'll work?

The fighters had gathered to the outskirts of the city.

Ryu: Hey, if I'm right, he won't be able to stand a mortal having this much power.

Ryu breathed in, before transforming into a Perfected Super Saiyan Blue.

Ryu: HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

Blue Ki shot into the sky, as just as Ryu thought, they could sense Black's energy spike.

Ryu: Ha, knew it. And if I'm right-

They also felt another Ki racing towards them.

Azure: Hold on what?

Ryu: Oh yeah, right on the money.

After a moment, Black had arrived, with another familiar face.

Ryu: I expected as much.

Goten: Is that a Kai?!

Ryu: So, I can only guess you're this timelines Zamasu.

Future Zamasu: You're right Black. This one is cunning.

Goku: Wait wait wait, Ryu, what's going on here?!!

Ryu: Well, in my eyes it's pretty simple.

He clenched his fist, looking directly at Black.

Ryu: The truth is that you're a version of Zamasu where we didn't actually meet. You stole my body, and started wreaking havoc on Goten Kina and Karma's universe.

Black started to laugh, harder than most would think he should.

Black: My, you really are something special!! But, there is just a small part you're missing!!

Black's eyes glinted red.

Black: True that I am Zamasu, at this point I think I'm starting to become something else entirely! Our bodies and minds were put together, as Super Shenron looked deeper than I expected!! I wanted your own intellect as well! You could say even though I'm Zamasu, I also truly am you!!

This shocked everyone, but no one more than Ryu.

Ryu: ...

Black: Luckily for me, your dark desires fit right in line for what I want this body to do. And that annoying wolf of yours isn't there either.

Ryu: ...

Goten: R-Ryu?

Black: Now, the power you showed me before Azure, will be your folly!!

Black roared, as he began to power up.

Azure: Argh, damnit!! I can't believe I forgot!!

Goten: Forgot what?!

Goku: Ryu's able to use powers similar to what Azure can!! If Black is doing what I think he is then-

Black transformed into Super Saiyan Rosé, before a darker aura enveloped him.

Vegeta: NO!!! IF HE COMPLETES THAT TRANSFORMATION WE'RE DOOMED!!!

Vegeta transformed into Perfected Blue as well, putting his hands back, with a purple energy forming.

Vegeta: GALICK GUN!!!!

He fired a blast, as shockingly Zamasu got in the way of it.

Goku: What?!!

Kina: He just sacrificed himself!!

Zamasu: Ha, foolish mortals.

The smoke cleared, as Zamasu was revealed to be completely fine.

Azure: Oh great! Yet another immortal!!

A tint of purple went into his hair, and dark purple energy had appeared on the inside of his aura.

Black: Yes, this is truly something. The power of a Destroyer used by a Supreme Kai in a Saiyan's body. Quite the odd combination is it not?

Black flew in, striking all of them. Goku Kina Goten Azure and Karma barely powered up in time to survive, as everyone was struck into different directions. Goku and Vegeta even though they entered their Blue Forms could only survive the attacks, while the time travelers were lucky to stay conscious.

Black: First, YOU AZURE!!!

Azure quickly powered up into Ultra Destroyer, before flying to clash fist with Black. For a moment they seemed to be even, before Black quickly overpowered him, striking Azure with a ferocious jaw strike.

Shonen: 'This beats Azure by a mile. How in the world was Black able to grow THIS FAST in a day? The Zenkai shouldn't have boosted him this much.'

Azure was about to counter with a punch, but Zamasu came and intercepted, letting the hit go through him. Black appeared, blasting Azure into the ground. With Ryu, he seemed slightly groggy from the attack.

Ryu: Argh, yup, that sure feels stronger than Azure's Ultra Destroyer, so it's definitely my body.

Zamasu appeared in front of him, with a sinister smile. Before Ryu could move, he could feel himself being stabbed, coughing up blood. Black had stabbed through Zamasu to get to him, as he had a similar look.

Black: So, would you like to know the fate of your home world!

Ryu: W-What the hell have you done... To Remnant?!

Black: Well, I already knew there were forces there that could rally and possibly be a threat. So, while I ravaged Earth, I thought it best to... Deal with it.

Ryu's eyes widened hearing this.

Black: But, what I will say is that being able to kill the love of your life twice was a special treat.

Hearing this, Ryu only then realized.

Ryu: 'A-Aero?'

Black: Ah yes, the distinct look of despair both times we had met was indeed delicious. One for this time... And one for mine.

Ryu coughed up blood as the blade was driven further into his heart.

Black: Just know, you have brought this upon yourself for the recklessness and arrogance you've shown with divine power.

His hand was grabbed, shocking Black, as Ryu's hair went to black.

Ryu: Y-You...

He grin increased, before Black began to feel incredible pain.

Black: A-ARGH!!!

Zamasu was blown back, as a familiar aura surrounded Ryu.

Black: Ahhhh, there it is! I was hoping to coax that power out of you!!

The ground shook, as tears fell from Ryu's eyes.

Ryu: Took my body... You took my life... Then you even killed all the people that mattered most to me...!!!

Ryu looked up, as his eyes had gone silver.

Ryu: You're gonna regret having such a big mouth Zamasu. NOW YOU DIE!!!!

Ryu's roar echoed through the remainder of the 7th universe, as he flew in to strike Black in the stomach. Even in the Hakai enhanced form, this was no match for Ryu's power. He kicked Black into the sky, before teleporting up, axe kicking him down. Teleporting again, Ryu appeared in front of Zamasu, before doing to the only correct action.

Karma began to heal from the blow Black had delivered her, slightly smirking.

Karma: Yup, that's either an angry Goku move, or a Ryu move backed by him being REAL pissed.

She flew to Kina, starting to heal her.

Karma: Kina, you doing alright?

Kina: I-I'll live, but ow...

She held her stomach slowly getting back up.

Azure got up from ruble, only mildly injured, as he slowly healed.

Azure: I hope to God he didn't think that a blast like that would kill me.

Shonen: Had it not been for that last second air force shield it could've.

Ryu stood over the weakened body snatched, kicking him through the dirt.

Ryu: Since it won't matter anyway, let me let you in on a little secret.

Ryu quickly dodged out of the way of a blast that Black fired, before dodging a flurry of punches.

Ryu: As much as you think you could master my body, it's just not happening.

He rose a leg to block a kick, then spinning to hit Black's neck.

Ryu: No matter how much you grow, you'll never be able to use my Ultra Instinct.

Black: What are you blathering about?!

Ryu caught his Ki Blade, surrounding his hand with Ki as to not get hurt my the destruction energy.

Ryu: Do you have any idea how long it's taken me to master this power? If it weren't for Whis, I may have taken another 20 years to get to this point.

He flung Black into the sky, putting his hands in his pockets.

Ryu: I can only use it because my mind and my body are in tune with each other. Your wish looks to have backfired in a way. Our minds are conflicting, while my body doesn't completely understand the instructions it's given.

He fired multiple blast into the sky, as black tried to dodge.

Ryu: Moreover, my version of Ultra Instinct is all about freedom. SO SOMEONE LIKE YOU-

He appeared in front of Black, before punching him square in the face.

Ryu: COULD NEVER REPLICATE HOW I USE THIS TECHNIQUE THAT I'VE HONED FOR YEARS!!!

Black was sent flying further into the sky, barely stopping himself.

Black: D-Damn you!!

Ryu: And plus, my mind helps my strength grow too, so now matter how much you grow, I can eventually catch up. IF you ever so surpass me.

He smirked confidently. Azure appeared beside Ryu.

Azure: Alright Ryu you've got him dealt with, so you have any idea how to deal with the Immortal?

Ryu: Well depends on the type.

Azure: Kinda looking similar to the Salem situation, so probably 1 through 3.

Ryu: Ah, damn. I don't exactly have a way to the void, so... Temporary sealing?

Azure: Hey you're the one with the powers.

Black: 'Did they say seal?! This is worse than I imagined!!'

Fu floated in the air, watching with a smirk.

Fu: Now this world is somewhere I can collect plenty of quality crystals.

Black: ZAMASU!!!

Zamasu looked up to Black, while he was being stabbed by Kina.

Zamasu: Yes, it appears these that we don't have any time to waste now.

He teleported beside Black, with everyone looking up.

Black: We will reveal to them the ultimate power of the Gods.

Zamasu: It's time to show them Divine Perfection made whole.

They earrings began to glow.

Black: You pathetic lowly mortals.

Zamasu: Show you reverence and bow down.

Zamasu took his own earring off his left ear.

Zamasu: Before our splendor.

He put it on his right ear, as they began to pulsate.

Ryu: What the hell are they doing?

Goku: I don't know.

Black and Zamasu were pulled towards each other, as once they connected they spun and glowed in a bright white light, that illuminated the whole city.

Vegeta: What just happened?!!

The light died down, revealing that there was only one figure left, but it was clear that it was neither Black, nor the normal Zamasu.

Azure: You're kidding!

???: My form is Justice. And my form is the world.

The light shell cracked off the figure, revealing someone else.

???: Worship me. Give praise unto me. Me, the beautiful, the sublime. Me, the invincible. The almighty and Divine.

The god was surrounded in a rainbow aura.

???: All Hail: Zamasu.

FUSED ZAMASU!!

Ryu: THEY FUSED?!!!

Kina: HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?!!!

He rose his hands into the air.

Zamasu: I can feel it. Two glorious and unparalleled powers, dissolving into one within me.

Shockwaves came from the fusion, with a white halo forming behind him.

Zamasu: Behold this ultimate vessel, the Sword and Shield made one! It's strength knows no limits! The power coursing through me is exceptional.

Ryu: Cut it with the fancy talk!!

Zamasu: Quite a mouth.

Zamasu rose a hand, as lightning shot towards the group. Ryu and Azure however fired a Stardust Cannon and Surge Blaster respectively to hold the attack at bay.

Ryu: Close one!

Karma: Do you two need help?!

Azure: If we did we wouldn't get much from you here!!

Ryu: He's right, so get lost so we can maybe figure something out for this bastard!!

Goku: He's right, give them space!!

Goku grabbed everyone, before teleporting away. At that moment, Ryu felt something about to happen.

Ryu: DOOOOODGE!!!!

He grabbed Azure, before teleporting away from red blades that stuck into the ground, before exploding. Once separating, Ryu was struck right in the stomach, making him spit up blood.

Ryu: 'H-He completely got past my Ultra Instinct?!'

Azure flew in, about to strike Zamasu, but had his fist grabbed.

Azure: Oh FU-

He was swung around, being slammed into Ryu. After being separated slightly, Zamasu got in between the two, hitting their backs so that they would slam into the ground, causing a massive crater.

Shonen: This one isn't an opponent like the ones we've faced before.

Shojo: Yeah, it's not often I feel Ryu's pain, this one hurts every molecule.

Azure: Arghhhh, shut the fuck up for just, 5 seconds so I can look up again.

Zamasu: Now to pluck to root of this evil.

Zamasu flew upwards, holding a finger up. When he did, it seemed as if a small sun had appeared.

Zamasu: DIVINE WRATH!!!

He fired the blast down at the two, as it would possibly kill them if it actually connected. However, an unlikely hero appeared, saving the two.

Ryu: Ugh... Man, I really thought I was about to be a wish there. Whoever you are thanks for the-

???: NO TALK TIME, GET READY NOW!!!

Ryu was shocked hearing the voice, quickly looking up.

Ryu: THE FUCK?!!!

Azure looked up as well, equally confused.

Azure: Hold on, did Zamasu hit me so hard I'm seeing double?

They saw Ryu, however he seemed to look a bit older, with his scar shown.

Zamasu: Ah, now I understand. You're this times version of Kaizen.

Future Ryu: Yeah, and you're a deadman. NOW!!!

Zamasu was confused, before feeling himself being kicked into the air, and then booted right in the face.

Zamasu: Who dares to strike me?!!

???/???2: MASENKO!!!!

Two blast began to push back Zamasu from the side, confusing the deity. Ryu took out a bag of Senzu Beans from hammer space, feeding himself one, and then giving one to Azure. They both looked into the sky, seeing Future Gohan and Future Trunks. However what they were most surprised to see were their forms, as brilliant red glows surrounded them.

Azure: That's Super Saiyan God!!

Future Ryu flew back up, screaming as he transformed into the same form as well. He swung his arms around, as energy surrounded the fused deity.

Zamasu: WHAT IS THIS?!!

Future Ryu: SHATTERING PRISON!!!

Zamasu was trapped, unable to move as time seemed to distort around him.

They flew down, slightly frantic.

Gohan: Ryu, I wish we had time to spare to explain, but we're a little short on it!!

Ryu: No need, if he's here then that means you broke the rules to save them.

Future Ryu: Seriously, that time binding won't last!! You know the Fusion Dance don't you?

Ryu's eyes widened, as he then looked at Azure.

Ryu: THAT'S IT!!

Azure: WHAT?!! FORGET IT, THERE'S NO WAY I'M DOING THAT SILLY ASS DANCE TO FUSE WITH YOU!!!

Ryu: It's either that or we die horribly, chose!!! You've already seen Aero and Ruby do it plenty of times, that should be more than enough!!

Azure: ARGHHHH, I swear if we mess this up I will NEVER let you hear the end of it!!

Trunks: Great, now you've gotta hurry up and do it!!

Ryu and Azure got into position, while Azure blushed while his eyes were closed in slight embarrassment. The two extended their arms,

Ryu&Azure: FUUUU!!!

They stepped in bringing their arms in as well.

Ryu&Azure: SION!!!

They stepped in again, bringing their arms back out, with Future Ryu Gohan and Trunks praying this would work.

Ryu&Azure: HAAAA!!!!

Showing their coordination with each other was as perfect as ever, their fingers connected, with red and white lights swirling together, as they disappeared. Once reappearing, there was only a single figure left.

???: Phew!! That could've gone bad!!

The fusion had all black hair, cracking his knuckles.

Trunks: This energy is huge!!

Zamasu broke out of the cage, disgusted.

Zamasu: Now you mock the Gods with this imitation!!

???: Yeah whatever. Now... What's my name?
