SSJ4 Goku's POV
It's been 5 hours since Chrissie was putten on some kind of machine which is a life support to help her breath easier. Bulma had checked on her about 10 minutes ago with Vegeta and Trunks. Bulla was with Goten in her room while everyone else was doing what they usually do with their lives.
I'm sitting in a chair next to her bed and holding on to Chrissie's right hand and stroking it with my thumb. I then saw the ring that I gave her about 2 days before.
Suddenly I heard a loud boom coming from outside in the city. Vegeta and Bulma ran to the room with worry on their faces, Trunks was in the room too, just to check Chrissie's heart rate and everything was normal but she's in a coma.

The city is in danger again but I don't want to leave Chrissie alone. "Kakarot, the city needs you. I know that you love my sister and I don't blame you for not wanting to leave her. If I was in the same thing as you, (not wanting to leave the person that you love so much) I would ask someone to keep an eye on my Bulma. So I'm going to stay with my sister while you go and help the city" said Vegeta as I know he's right. I let go of Chrissie's right hand, kissed her forehead and lips before leaving to help the city.

Vegeta's POV (finally)

After Kakarot left to go and help the city, I sat down in the chair that was next the hospital bed with the heart monitor and the IV drip. I took Chrissie's right hand and feel bad for her because I wasn't there for her when she was hurt or sick. It's time for me to make up to her by being there for her and let her and Kakarot be happy together. I don't know if my pride is telling me to keep Chrissie away from Kakarot and letting her be happy.

All of the years that I despised Kakarot for hurting my sister, I owe him to let him and Chrissie to be happy. Even after everything that we all been though with Frieza, the Androids, Cell, evil Majin Buu, Goku Black, Zamasu, that Tuffle Baby and more enemies maybe before them too.

Hours later...
Kakarot returned as I just about to leave Kakarot and Chrissie alone so I waited outside of the room with my Bulma who was pregnant with my 3rd child.

Back to SSJ4 Goku's POV

I returned to Capsule corp to see Chrissie alone. I saw Vegeta just left the room and sat on a chair with Bulma.
So I went in the room with Chrissie whose still on the hospital bed and still on the life support to help her breathe. I sat back down in then same chair that I was in before and took her right hand, stroking it with my thumb. I looked at her sleeping figure as she's like my sleeping beauty so I kissed her on her lips carefully and then suddenly, Chrissie finally woke up.

She woke up from feeling my lips touching hers. Her eyes opened slowly and carefully and she saw me looking down at me with a smile.
Minutes later...
Vegeta and Bulma came into the room and had a sigh of relief to see that Chrissie is fine and had woken up. Bulma removed the life support stuff and putting them away and I just felt so tired. So Bulma allowed me to take Chrissie and myself to a spare bedroom inside Capsule corp so I picked up Chrissie in my arms and too that spare bedroom, put her on the bed and got into bed, covered the both of us with the cover and I put my arms around her as she fell asleep.
Before I fell asleep, kissed Chrissie on her forehead and whispered in her ear that I love her and I will do anything to protect her. I kissed her one more time on her forehead and finally I finally fell asleep, hugging the woman who is related to Vegeta and the same woman that I loved ever since we were kids.
