Like a good author I rewritten the chapter because to me it sucked. A lot.

Last time on Dragon Ball Exodus, a seemingly normal highschool student named (Y/N) (L/N) starts having some weird feelings of being constantly watched upon. But soon finds the man behind this. Mira, creation of the scientist Towa and the next king of the demon realm. Many tried to stop him but failed until Trunks, the protector of time, intervened after (Y/N) had a mysterious burst of power was unlocked inside of him. A battle broke out between Trunks and Mira but the Time Patroller was able to retreat with (Y/N) and two of his friends. But what does this means for the three highschool students? Find out now!

"Ahhhhhhh!" I screamed as I fumbled out of bed.

Confused, I quickly looked up to see if I wasn't just imagining things. But no, the bearded bird known as Tokitoki was really flying over my head.

I quickly looked around the room and saw that it wasn't mine unless someone stole all my stuff then decided to move around my room. The walls were now white, a window was right next to the bed, the floor was wooden, and this crazy bird freaking out over my head.

"Tooooookkkkiiiiii!"

"Calm down! You loud ass bird!" I shouted.

But Tokitoki didn't, and continued freaking out and even started bumping into things. I had to shield my head in case he wanted to dive bomb me.

"Please calm down!" I pleaded as Tokitoki kept flying around the room.

Eventually the crazed bird stopped freaking out and flew onto someone's shoulder as they entered the room.

"Good. You're awake." I heard a familiar voice say.

I uncovered my head and looked up to the new person in the room. And I went wide eyed as I instantly knew who it was.

"Y-Your Trunks!" I pointed at him in shocked.

"Yes, I'm him." He said as I stood up to face him. "I know you must have questions about what's going on, but there's nothing you should worry about."

"Kiiiii!" Tokitoki squaked.

"No no no no! This is just a crazy dream and none of this is happening." I said to myself.

"Um, I don't know how to calm you down but I can assure you. You are awake." Trunks said.

"Wait so a demon really did try to kidnap me today?" I gave a nervous smile.

"Y-Yes." He said.

I could feel myself getting pale in fear and shock.

I'm soooooo screwed! Q_Q

"But don't worry! We have everything under control!" Trunks reassured me with a small smile.

"Okay." I said as I got up and sat back down on the bed.

"Okay. First things first. I need explain the situation." He said. " As you may or may not know, a being known as Mira has been sent to find you for unknown reasons. Knowing Mira and who he works for, they will not stop until they find you. So until we know what their plans are you'll be kept under safe protection." Trunks said.

"B-But what do they want from me in the first place? I mean I'm just a regular teenager, just like everyone else." I asked.

"We don't know as of now, but it may have to do with your hidden power." He said.

Hidden power?

"But how are they even coming after me? No offense but people watch your world for entertainment." I said.

Trunks opened his mouth to say something but before he did another familiar voice said something.

"I can answer that." A voice said from behind Trunks.

From behind Trunks came the pink skinned, small figured woman none other known as theSupreme Kai of Time stepped into the room.

"As you know, in your world, our world is very well known. Our history, everyone in this existence, every single specific item, everything. But none of you thought that this world could even exist." She said.

"But how? How can this exist? Akira Toriyama made his shows for years and had interviews about it. Heck, he still is." I said.

"Yes, I was getting to him. Unknown to your planet, Akira is actually a great and powerful seer who's trying to show your world of our great achievements." She said.
"Woah-That's just-woah.... " I said as I tried piecing all this together in my head.

Holy crap he must be a powerful seer. Seeing all these multiverse timelines, video universes, and-Wait? Is he secretly Baba and Roshi's way younger brother?

As I thought about this I looked at the ground. But then I got focused again on my situation.

"But what's so special about me? I'm just a regular guy." I asked them.

"Do you remember anything after Mira came after you?" Trunks asked.

"Uh.... Yeah. Mira showed up, people started attacking him, and then Brittney attacked him while Dave tried to sneak me away..... Wait are they're all right?!" I asked worriedly as I stood up.

"Yes they're fine, but do you remember anything after that?" Trunks asked.

I sat back down then tried to focus on what happened afterwards but the memory seemed fuzzy.

"Mira hit Brittney and I....." An image of Brittney laying there unconscious flashed across my mind. And it made me feel something. Anger. Without thinking I started gripping onto the sheets underneath me. And as I did I felt as if a breeze went through the room even though I remember the window behind me being closed. "I can't remember anything after that." I said.

"Interesting. You have a hidden power within you and a large one at that." Supreme Kai of Time said.

"Really?" I asked surprised as I looked at her.

"Hmmm.... I think there might be a way around this whole Mira and Towa situation." She said with a small smirk.

"How?" I asked.

"How would you like to become part of the Time Patrol?" She offered as her smile grew bigger.

"Heck yeah!" I said without thinking. I mean who wouldn't? And it's not like I have much choice anyways.

"Great!" She clasped her hands together.

"Oh, my name is (Y/N) (L/N) by the way." I said as I stood up and offered them my hand.

"Nice to meet you." Supreme Kai of Time and Trunks said as they shook my hand.

"Kiiiii!" Tokitoki said happily? I don't know it could anything with that bird.

"Great, now Trunks." The Supreme Kai looked towards Trunks. "Can you show our newest recruits around the city?" She asked.

"Yes ma'am." He said as he turned towards the hallway behind them. "If you can follow me please."

So I guess I'm not the only one

Tokitoki jumped from Trunks' shoulder to the Supreme Kai of Time's before Trunks and I walked out the room. When we left the room I was greeted with a short hallway that has two doors on either side of the room we just left. Down the hallway entered into a comfy looking living room. It was fairly large, has two brown couches that could possibly hold 6-8 people, a coffee table, flatscreen TV, and a door that probably leads outside. But what surprised me was the fact that Brittney and Dave was watching TV like this was a regular day at home.

"What the!? Guys!?" I said confused. O_O?!

"Oh, hey Michael!" Dave waved with a smile as he turned his head to look at me.

"Sup loser." Brittney said without looking at me.

"Nice to see you guys worrying about me." -_-|| I said.

"Well we was worrying about you but they have Senzu Beans here so there was nothing really to worry about." Brittney said.

"But still." -_-|| "I was knocked out." I said.

"And I was thrown into a wall." Brittney retorted.

"So I'm guessing they're here because they're most likely to be taken hostage." I said.

"Am I not the only girl you talk to?" Brittney said.

"Sadly yes." -_-# I said.

"We all live in the same house now it's going to be awesome!" Dave said happily.

"Yay! I can't wait for Brittney to put my hand in a warm cup of water in the middle of the night!" I said sarcastically.

"I didn't even think of that." Brittney said.

"I'm just gonna leave now." -_-|| I said.

"Oh we're coming with!" Dave said happily as he and Britteny got off the couch.

"Why?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Because you're looking at the two newest Time Patrollers!" Brittney said as she put an arm around Dave.

"Great.....!" -_- "But are you sure Dave? You've never been the fighting type of guy." I asked him.

"I'll be fine! Plus I wanna learn some cool ki stuff." Dave said excitedly with a big smile on his face.

"Alright. Let's go then." I smiled.

So with that Trunks, Dave, Brittney, and I walked out the door. When we did the outside light blinded and burned my eyes until the feeling went away to reveal the a whole neighborhood of houses.

And to Brittney, Dave, and my luck there was tons of people walking around like any other day. But to us it was like a dream come true as our eyes had stars within them.

"This place looks nice." I said as I looked around at the buildings and people.

"Yeah it really does." Dave said.

"But, I don't remember this being part of Conton." Brittney said.

"This is where all of our other patrollers live. This is the residental district." Trunks said.

"Well it makes sense. Everyone's gotta relax at some point." I said.

"Now if you'll follow me." Trunks said as he started walking down the road.

We quickly followed behind him but the same time we looked at numerous Time Patrollers living their lives in this suburban town.

We basically stared at everyone we came across as Trunks lead us somewhere. Most people didn't notice but there was a few people who looked at us like we were crazed stalkers.

Like this one purple Majin girl Dave was staring at a little too hard. She looked at him nervously before quickly hide behind this guy, who I can clearly tell is a saiyan as his brown tail swayed and his black hair was spiky like a protagonist, who looked at Dave with a look saying he would break all the bones in his body without a second thought. But before any damage could be done I dragged Dave away from the two.

Everyone we pasted up treated us like some regular day guys but for us it was amazed even seeing these people. Arcosians, Namekians, Majins, Saiyans, it's everyone's dream. Eventually we walked up the edge of the island to see the cloudy void I front of us.

"And this is Conton City." Trunks said.

"Huh? But there's nothing here." I said Trunks as I looked out to the cloudy distance.

"Oh, I see it!" Dave said.

I looked around again but I still saw nothing. Then Trunks stuck his arm out and pointed upwards. We looked up to see the giant main island of Conton. From here we can see most of the tall buildings and Time Patrollers flying through the sky.

I looked at it in amazement until I realized something.

"How we going to get up there?" I asked. "We can't fly you know."

"I know, so these will be provided for you until you can learn to fly." Trunks said.

Then, from the island, three hoverboard, like the ones you get when you don't know how to fly, flew up towards us. It stopped right in front of me then slowly turned itself around. I looked at Trunks worryingly.

"Don't worry, its perfectly safe." He told me as he started hovering off the ground then over the edge of the island.

"Awesome!" Dave said excitedly as he hopped on the board.

"This is going to be fun!" Brittney said with a smirk as she stepped on the board.

"Okay...." I said nervously as I carefully took a step on the machine.

"Awwww you're not scared are you?" Brittney said teasingly.

"No!" I shouted at her.

"Follow me." Trunks said as he flew down towards Conton City.

"Race ya!" Brittney said as her board took off quickly.

"Hey no fair!" Dave shouted as he followed after her.

I did a quick nod and looked at my destination..... but it didn't move.

"Um.... how do I-Woah!" I before the hoverboard took off at incredible speeds.

I flew straight past Trunks, Brittney, and Dave up to Conton but I couldn't stop. I flew past unsuspecting people and almost crashed into most of them.

"Whhhhhaaaaaaaa!" I screamed in terror.

Then to my dismay, I started going back up into the sky. Doing loop de loops, barrel rolls, and spins. Luckily for me I was moving so fast I didn't fly off the thing.

"How do I stop this thing?!" I shouted.

Then to my luck Trunks appeared in my path with his hands held out. I crashed into him but he held back the rapid machine easily.

"Are you okay?" He asked timidly.

"S-Sure." @_@ I said shaking in fear.

Trunks let go of the machine and I slowly descended to the ground. When I did I slowly stepped down and was clearly seen shaking due to nerves. Tons of people were staring at me worryingly..... or were laughing.

"Hahahaha! Oh my god, you scream like girl! Haha!" Brittney said as she and Dave landed on the ground easily.

"It's only been 5 minutes since we left the house...." Q_Q I muttered to myself.

"Uh, let's go." Trunks said as he started walking off.

Brittney continued to laugh her ass off, and Dave gave me a pat on the back before we followed behind Trunks.

Timeskip

From there Trunks took us on a tour around the main island Conton City. Since we can't fly to the other islands, we didn't get to go to see them. But it's okay since it's something I've done a thousand times in Xenoverse 2.

But eventually we went up the famous white steps to the main headquarters.

"And this is the Time Nest. Where all of history is recorded and any inconsistencies are corrected." Trunks said as we finally made it up the last few steps.

"Cool." Brittney said while Dave and I nodded.

I already know all about this place from the games but seeing it with my own eyes is unbelievablely cool.

"And that completes of what I can show you as of now." Trunks said.

"So what now?" I asked.

"Well, I wanted to gauge you three to see how much training you need before you take on any real missions." Trunks said as he unsheathed his sword from his back then got into a fighting stance.

"Alright. Let's do this!" Brittney said while cracking her knuckles.

"Yeah we got this!" Dave said excitedly.

Dave was the first one to run towards Trunks with a punch.... but tripped over a small rock and fumbled past him.

"I don't think that could have gone any worst." -_-|| Brittney said. "Alright my turn." She said with a smirk.

Brittney charged at Trunks and threw numerous punches, but Trunks easily dodged them all. I could see Brittney getting increasingly annoyed with every punch she missed but then she gave one hard roundhouse kick. But instead of dodging Trunks blocked the kick with his arm. When Brittney landed on her feet Trunks gave her a small smile.

"Good." He said which made Brittney smirk smugly.

"I guess it's my turn now." I said nervously.

Trunks turned to look at me and when he did he looked more serious than he did a second ago.

"Uh Tru-"

I was cut off by Trunks rushing towards me with his sword. Instantly went wide eyed and panicked. And within a second later I was given a drop kick to the middle of my chest which made me fly a couple of feet and fall on my back.

"Ow! What was that for?!" I shouted at Trunks as I looked up at him. But he just looked at me with the same serious look. "Fine." I got back up and raised my fists like how a boxer would.

I ran towards Trunks and threw punches, just like Brittney did, and just like with Brittney he dodged my punches. But unlike when Brittney did it, Trunks would punch me every time I missed.

"What-Ow-The-Ow-Hell!?" I shouted inbetween each punch Trunks gave me.

But he still didn't say anything. And this was getting extremely annoying and making me pissed.

"Stop-Ow-Punching-Ow-Me!"

As he continued pummeling me I started to feel my anger boiling up inside me.

"I said STOP!" I shouted as I caught Trunks' fist.

3rd Person View

(Y/N) growled as he looked Trunks dead in his eyes. An aura surrounded (Y/N) like before but it was more black than white. Trunks looked at (Y/N) with a slightly surprised look and Brittney and Dave looked even more shocked.

It worked....

(Y/N) let go of Trunks' fist, and jumped back to get some distance from him. Then immediately rushed back at Trunks in a blind rage. He threw faster and harder hitting punches making Trunks block and move back from him.

He's way more stronger than he was a second ago but..... his energy feels more sinister.

(Y/N) growled even more seeing that he's not actually landing a clear hit. So (Y/N) kicked up towards Trunks' face but Trunks easily caught it with one hand. As (Y/N) glared at the swordsman, Trunks' serious face faded into a happy smirk.

"You did good (Y/N)." Trunks said.

(Y/N) View

I looked at Trunks' happy smirk as he held onto my leg. It took me a few seconds to realize what I just did but when I did I went wide eyed. Trunks let go of my leg as he saw me calm down a bit and then I stood upright as I watched my aura go away.

"I did that?" I said to myself as I looked at my hands as a almost black aura faded from them.

"Like I said. You have a hidden power hidden within you." Trunks said.

"Well I believe you now." I said bluntly. "But why the hell did you do that?!"

"I was trying to bring out some of your power. And with most people I know anger is something that brings it out more than anything." Trunks said.

"Well thanks. I guess." -_-. Then I looked over at my friends to see their extremely shocked and confused faces. "Um, guys? You're all right over there?"

"H-How? I've never even seen him throw a punch all his life." Brittney said dumbfoundedly.

"I guess that makes me the strongest in our group, huh?" I said with a smirk.

"Yeah...." Dave admitted.

"As if!" Brittney growled.

"Yeah yeah yeah. Ms Jeolous." I said with a smirk which caused Brittney to stomp my way.

"Don't think I'll smuther you in your sleep." She said as she glared at me.

"Haha." o_o|| I laughed nervously.

"Well all of you can get stronger with the proper training." I heard the Supreme Kai of Time say. I turned my head to see her coming up the steps with Tokitoki on her shoulder. "You'll face enemies way stronger than the average person. So the three of you need to remember that working together is better than brute strength alone. So now from this day forward, I announce that you're all official Time Patrollers and this..." She gestured all around us"...is your home."

"Awesome!" Brittney said as she fist pumped.

"My dream has finally come true!" Dave said with some tears in his eyes.

"But.... what about my mom?" I asked which caused everyone to look at me.

"Huh?" Trunks said.

"Well, back home, on Earth. Me and my mom live in this small apartment. I'm pretty sure she'll notice her only son missing." I said.

"Oh we have that covered." Supreme Kai of Time waved. "We told her everything-"

"What?! And she believed it?!" I asked.

"We miiiiigggggghhhhhttttt have stretched the truth a little.... but it's all right. And she's under constant watch, so don't you worry. Hehe." She said.

"Okay, if that's not a problem...." I clenched my fist righteously. "...I'm in! I may have no idea what's hidden inside me but I plan to try my best! You can count on it!" I said.
........

The heavy rain started pouring down from the dark clouds above me. A small smirk grew on my face as I finally accepted what I've been denying.....

"So this is who I am...."

So I rewritten the chapter and hopefully it's better than it was before. I know there wasn't a whole lot if changes but at least there isn't just a whole bunch of gaps missing.
