(Y/N)'s POV

'I can't feel my senses

I just feel the cold

All colors seem to fade away

I can't reach my soul'

It's so cold.....I can't feel anything....like I'm numb....what happened? I couldn't see anything around me, but I can faintly hear someone calling my name but who could it be?

"(Y/N)!!!!!"

'I would stop running

If knew there was a chance

It tears me apart to sacrifice it all

But I'm forced to let go'

'Trunks?' Why is he calling my name? I then shut my eyes and everything came back to me. I came along with the other Z fighters to the Cell Games. I wanted to help fight against Cell but Trunks wouldn't let me. I glared up at him,

"Please Trunks I need to help out anyway I can." I said as I pleaded with him. Trunks just shook his head, his long purple hair moving along with his head movement.

"No (Y/N), I don't want you getting hurt." I sighed as I crossed my arms pouting like a child. Trunks wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me close to him, causing me to blush.

"(Y/N) please understand that I'm only trying to protect you and keep you safe." I smiled appeared on my face as I put my hands on his chest,

"But who would protect you guys?" He smirked down at me and brought our foreheads together causing me to giggle.

"Don't worry (Y/N), we will be ok."

'we will be ok huh Trunks?'

'I hope you are right.'

Things didn't look so good, Cell was stronger than ever and Goku wasn't able to beat him, so he had his son Gohan fight Cell. Gohan is just a child.....I was worried about him but if Goku trusts that Gohan can beat Cell then I'll trust his judgement, but I couldn't help but still worry that something bad is going to happen.

As the tournament continued on I could see that Gohan was winning but stalling for some reason. Cell was losing and he knew it, his body became inflated and it looked like he was about to pop like a balloon. Goku decided to take care of Cell then and teleport him away and hopefully he will be gone for good. When they disappeared I couldn't help but think that this was a bad idea that Goku had.

"(Y/N) what's wrong?" He put his hand on my shoulder, I put my hand over his and sighed,

"Trunks, I have a bad feeling about this."

"What do y-?"

"You thought I would be finished right?" We turned around and saw Cell standing there with a smirk on his face and his arms crossed across his chest. He then pointed his finger towards Trunks and a beam appeared but I pushed Trunks out of the way just in time for the beam to strike me in my chest.

"(Y/N)!?!?!"

'Tell me I'm frozen, but what can I do?

I then gasped as I started to remember what happened. I died....protecting Trunks. I had to protect him because Cell targeted him and I couldn't stand to see him die so I sacrificed myself in order for him to live....' I'm sorry Trunks, but know that I did it because I love you.'

'I can feel your sorrow

You won't forgive me

But I know you'll be all right

It tears me apart that you will never know

But I have to let go'

I closed my eyes as tears fell from them, ' He must be upset, I wonder what he's doing now.....' As my eyes were closed I started to see a scene unfold in front of me.

Trunks' eyes widened as he saw me fall with a hole in my chest. He was frozen on the spot and it seemed like he wasn't breathing. Cell smirked and laughed,

"Well I wasn't aiming for her but it's her fault she got in the way." Trunks eyes started to form a glare as his eyes went from my limp body to Cell's.

"Just a pathetic human who shouldn't have been here in the first place." Trunks screamed and he transformed into his Super Saiyan form, his blue Capsule Corp. jacket gone and he was left in his gray tank top and grey pants. He rushed towards Cell and punched him in the jaw, causing Cell to fly backwards.

He stopped and smirked at Trunks,

"Did I struck a nerve boy?" Trunks didn't say a word as he glared at Cell. As Trunks was busy with Cell, Krillin and Piccolo came to my aid, Piccolo picked me up in his arms and he looked back at Trunks and Cell.

Then the image faded away and I gasped, ' Trunks...'

'Tell me I'm frozen, but what can I do?

I couldn't help but to smile as I saw that Trunks was trying to avenge me. My death sparked something inside him and he let all his rage out and he released all his anger on the one who killed me. I put my hands over my heart as tears fell from my eyes and rolled down my cheeks.

' Trunk, I hope you understand why I took the shot for you.....I love you so much.'

'Everything will slip way

Shattered pieces will remain

When memories fade into emptiness

Only time will tell its tale

If it all has been in vain'

Suddenly I felt surrounded by blackness, as I looked around in the darkness I saw all flashes of my memories with Trunks fading away into the darkness. I try to reach out towards them but I could never reach them. I knew that my time was coming to a close, I didn't even get to tell Trunks how I felt about him.

'I'm sorry again Trunks...we will never see each other again, but I hope you know that I will always love you forever.....'
