Long time ago, there existed a planet named Vegeta. Living there was the race of the Saiyans, known for their strength and continuous growth despite all odds. One man felt fear from this race and his name... was Frieza. 

The emperor of the universe knew that the Saiyans would eventually gain such strength that they would no doubt try and go against him... With an order from an unknown being, he finally got what he needed in order to kill all the Saiyans. 

With a quick call, he summoned all Saiyans back to Planet Vegeta. Little did they all knew that it was a trap... All but one person knew... His name was Courge and he was a low class Saiyan warrior, one who had gained the power of future vision. He saw that in a near future, Frieza would seek to destroy all Saiyans... 

And that vision were to come true soon, so he had no choice but to send his kids away: Cannel on a mission, and Celeron on a distant planet named Earth. As Courge rushed to his demise, one pod was intercepted by a ship. A ship of Frieza's brother, Cooler, got its hands on Celeron, an escapee from Planet Vegeta. He told his men to shoot the pod down, having a feeling that the Saiyan within needed to be put down. 

The pod came spiralling through space, the boy inside crying out for help... 

......But no one heard that desperate call. Eventually, the pod crashed down on a far off planet... Habited only by wildlife and its animals... Celeron continued his cry for help, to no avail... Days passed by... The boy knew he had to fight for his own survival, managing to kill one of the beings here and feast on it... Weeks went by... Celeron continued to live, getting the fruits of the world for himself. Months prattled on... The boy grown stronger, as with each meeting with an animal, his strength raised... Years came to pass... 

And the boy that once crashed down onto this planet... was now all grown up. Each day he spent here, he put his strength to try and fix the pod with which he landed down onto this planet. Eventually, he managed to fix it, leaving the planet for good... 

Celeron saw that there were coordinates set on it to take him to Planet... Earth? He didn't knew why, but he decided to travel there next. 

On Earth... The 23rd World Tournament was taking place. It was the fight between Krillin and Majunior... Which was suddenly interrupted by a pod landing down next to the tournament grounds...
