Tonight Neuvillette was sitting in his office alone as the storm raged outside. a few hours before something horrible happened he could never forgive himself for and he was trying to understand why it even happened.

few weeks prior he found himself in a sour mood snapping at everyone and seeming angry or irritated. and earlier he suddenly lost control of himself turning him into his dragon from and causing destruction especially to a Melusine village and when he eventually gained his senses back it was too late.

he destroyed their homes and even hurt some of them and they were afraid of him and he couldn't get there scared tear filled eyes out of his head. he couldn't stand that he made his children scared of him that he hurt them in such a way.

and it killed him he couldn't bare it he felt like such a horrible man for doing such a thing. and couldn't figure out why he did it. why he lost control and targeted what he loved most.

something was wrong and he didnt feel like his children were safe not with him still around. if something was going on out of his control he needed to go and figure it out and not be a harm to his children. he didnt want them to be scared of him.

the next day in the morning Navia Sigewinne Wriothesley and Clorinde have been looking around for Neuvillette to try and talk to him about what happened and why when suddenly they saw the rain suddenly stop and starts rising up into the sky and clouds forming a circle in the sky.

Navia : what's happening?"

wriothesley : whatever it is it's not goo-

Suddenly Neuvillette in his dragon form flew straight into the sky kinda erratic almost hitting buildings but going straight into the clouds that looked like a strange portal in the middle.

and just like that he was gone and the sky returned to normal.

sigewinne : where did he go?"

Clorinde: let's check his office we might find a clue there"

and so the four left to find out what lead to this happening.

as they got to his office they saw a single note on the ground and  Sigewinne picked up the note and she started reading it.

"to my daughter's.....to all of you I'm sorry for what I did. I Don't understand what's going on with me but I didnt mean to scare you or hurt you. I wasn't myself and it pains me to know I hurt you this way. you all mean the world to me.

ill protect you from anything and if I am danger to you all. ill protect you from myself.

I just want you all to be happy and safe and if that means I have to leave to do that then I shall go.

I'm not safe to be around until I know what's wrong with me. please forgive me for abandoneding you. I love you all so much....I'm not sure if I'll ever return just know please Don't be sad because happy smile each day for me."

Sigewinne then dropped the note feeling sad really sad.

Sigewinne : h....he left?"

Clorinde : something about this doesn't make sense"

Wriothesley : he left to protect them from himself? even he didnt know what was happening to him?"

Navia :
he could have talked to us about it. but he has a strong sense of justice. and love for the Melusines. I doubt any of us could have stopped him. but that portal seemed off"

Wriothesley : ...."

meanwhile in starrail

the astral express crew was in space as the astral express traveled until it stopped due to a block up ahead

March 7th : what's blocking the train?"

Caelus : let's look"

both quickly want to the window and immediately stopped as everyone else got there.

caelus : you seeing what I'm seeing?"

March : half a frozen dragon in space?"

caelus : Kinda cool"

welt : a what?"

Caelus : there is a huge blue dragon frozen in front of the astral express"

they then went to look and saw it.

hemiko : seems it's true. wonder how long it's been there"

Dan heng : who know. it's also hard to know if it's alive"

caelus : we gotta help them"

March 7th : how do we help a dragon?"

suddenly they started to see it move and then change into a man.

March 7th : well that's convenient"

after this they worked on getting him inside the astral express.

later as they got him in and somewhere warm he suddenly woke up standing up.

Hemiko : careful now we found you in quite a situation"

March 7th : kinda floating outside a little frozen in space just like how they found me"

Neuvillette : ....may I know where I am?"

Welt : you are on the astral express."

March 7th : we're good guys we basically go around traveling worlds and helping people where we can. oh and the astral express is a train that goes through space"

Neuvillette : .....I'm getting the feeling I'm not in my world anymore"

Dan Heng : where are you from?"

Neuvillette : teyvat from the city of fontaine"
March 7th : sounds cool how you end up here?"

Neuvillette : I'm unsure. I was leaving...but then something else happened....I lost control of myself again and trying to get it back i flew into a portal in the sky. I am unsure if I made it or not"

hemiko : why were you trying to leave?"

Neuvillette : ...... "

Neuvillette then started to explain the situation to them as best as he could.

Neuvillette : I decided leaving was for the best to keep my daughters safe until I know what's wrong with me. even then I Don't feel like I deserve to be with them again"

March 7th : awe.... that's so sad...."

Welt : well you are welcome to stay here and join us as you figure out what you want to do"

Neuvillette : thank you. my name Neuvillette"

March 7th : fancy. and what's with the fancy clothes?"

Neuvillette : it's what I wear for work"

caelus : so your a dragon huh? what kind?"

Neuvillette : I'm known as a hydro dragon. I'm also the chief justice of fontine"

March 7th : hydro dragon? ya know you and Dan heng are kinda twining"

Caelus : both dragons both blue both have to do with water"

Dan Heng : ..... anyway Mr Neuvillette we Don't have much room so you'll have to stay with Caelus"

Caelus : yay roommate!"
