Chapter 31: 2 Days (part 2)
*Warning! Very graphic!!*
Blood filled the air. Red covered every tree and every plant. Actually, there were no plants.
The meadow was a dead place. Like a place for lost souls. Bodies were limp and everywhere.
But someone was in the middle. A black figure with blood red eyes.
It smiled, not in a nice way. But a psychotic way. In fact, it was a girl. A girl with brown messy, tangled hair.
Her freckles around her cheeks. Blood splattered over her cheeks. Her teeth was white and sharp.
Her black cloak draped over her body. She could have been a creepypasta.
If this was real.
Nylah woke up, scared and shocked. Her breathing was uneven and her hair was a mess.
Her pillows and blankets were scattered around the room. She sighed and closed her eyes.
But then the girl's face flashed in her mind. She quickly opened her eyes and scrambled to put some clothes on.
'Who is she?' That same question ran through her head as she showered. Nylah sighed again and breathed out.
She was ready. Ready for any danger.
Or was she?
Katarah's pov:
I sighed as I lightly grazed the window with my finger. "Something doesn't feel right." Crystal said.
I nodded and sighed again. I got up and waited for Nylah and Clem. I sat on the couch, deep in thought.
3rd person:
Nylah came downstairs. Her eyes widened and her hair a mess. She had faint bags under her eyes, which were a little noticeable since her tan skin blended with it.
Her brown eyes searched the kitchen for what she was looking for. She spotted it and weakly smiled.
"Are you okay? You look... Dead." Katarah said behind her. Nylah silently nodded and started to munch on the cookie she found.
"I'm fine, just rough sleep last night." Nylah muttered. Katarah looked at her with concern.
"Did you... See another vision?" She said hesitating and quietly. Nylah decided to not say anything and went to the fridge to have a glass of milk.
Katarah sat on the stool on the island and stared at Nylah. Watching her every move. Nylah then froze before she was about to pour the milk in to her glass.
"Do you feel... As if something isn't right?" Nylah whispered. Katarah nodded.
"Now that I think about it, Crystal said something wasn't right." Katarah said.
Nylah looked at her and set down the milk. As if thinking the same thing they both bolted upstairs to Clemintine's room.
They both knocked furiously and yelled out her name. Katarah then got a call. It was from Taytum.
Nylah kept on banging on the door and yelling. Katarah quickly answered it.
(Bold is Taytum)
"Kat?!"
"Taytum?! What's wrong?!"
"Something doesn't feel right. And Devon is missing."
"Someone's kidnapping the students again?"
"No, this time, someone is trying to wipe US out. Our friends are disappearing."
"Clem is missing too!!"
"I can tell. Nylah is screaming like a maniac."
"She woke up like she came from the dead. She's not her usual self. I think she had a vision again but she won't tell me." Katarah whispered.
"Something is definitely wrong. Call everyone. We need to stay togeth-" He was cut off. The only hing Katarah could hear was a long beep.
Katarah yelled out his name multiple times. Nylah got tired and with a quick flash of anger. She kicked the door down.
She suddenly looked like herself. Her baggy eyes weren't baggy and her hair seemed tamed. Her clothes were straighten out. She looked like her usual self.
"Artemis." She called out. A miniature Artemis appeared on her shoulder. "We can do that?!" Kat whispered.
"Do you feel something?" Artemis nodded and growled at a corner. "We're not alone." Artemis growled.
"Crystal!" Katarah yelled. Nothing happened. "Awww!" Kat whined. "Show yourself." Artemis said with power in her voice.
A dark figure appeared. "A demon...?" Nylah whispered. Nylah heard of demons. In stories she read. She never met one in real life.
She knew how to take him down. So she did. Nylah tackled it as soon as she set her eyes on it. She punched it's face repeatedly. She got up and kicked it.
'Come on. It's a demon. As long as it's not Sebastian Michaelis. I'll be fine, right?' She thought.
She had doubt but Katarah jumped in and joined her. She suddenly felt determined. They both smirked at each other and round-house kicked the demon at the same time.
It slammed into the wall and Nylah held its head up. "Who sent you here." She growled.
Katarah stood behind her crackeibg her knuckles. The demon was fearless. The strongest one in the demon ranks.
But these two girls were something he never had seen before. And he saw a lot of people.
These girls were intimidating. They were fearless and strong. The demon sputtered out the name.
"M-monster Academy director."
3 words were all they needed.
Nylah got up and looked at Katarah. Katarah looked at her and they both nodded.
They both hopped in Nylah's car and fumbled with the keys. They drove to the school as fast as they can.
Something was happening.
And it wasn't good.
