It isnt what it seems

                 Gabbie

"Stitches!" I yelled trying to hold a wound together.
Tuesday raced over with them almost killing me. I got it closed and moved on to the next one and the next one. Closing wounds and distributing meds.
Thankfully there weren't many to deal with, even though the ones that were hurt were severe. We were running around like deranged chickens.
Suddenly I feel warm arms wrap around my waist, and a male voice in my ear.  I knew it was Greyson.
"Hey, how's it going here?" He asked
"Not many but the ones we have are serious." I told him
"Well how can I help then?" He asked
"Follow behind me and put this on the wound, and wrap it." I told him
"Got it!" He said and all was well until a few patients later.
"Darn it Greyson!" I barked at him
"What did I do?" He asked tilting his head
"You wrapped a open wound!" I yelled at him
He just looked at me. I knew that there was shrapnel in the wound that needed to come out.
"Just ignore it I'll fix it! Just go get me some more sutures from Tuesday." I told him and took the wrapping off and marked the arm.
'I loved him a lot, but sometimes he seems like he's for the other side.' I thought to myself. I just kept working going back and fixing his mistakes.
"How's the work going? I hope there weren't any deaths on our side." Zoe said looking at the injured.
"We've had a few fatalities mostly the stuck up girls." I said getting a evil grin.
"It's about time you did well." She said.
She walked around to catch some numbers, and make sure that everything was alright.  She checked pulsed and made sure all the wounds were clean and dealt with.
She could lead a army and care about the few that were hurt. We still had high numbers of ready fighters that would be deployed tomorrow. I think it was either Tuesday, or Greyson that came up with the idea of only sending half of our troops out at a time. Making it where the rebels would always have to fight a fresh group. I thought it was a great idea hopefully keeping injuries down.
Most of the hurt that we did have were the stuck up people, and our not so good fighters. This made our lives easier without dealing with them.
Later that night Greyson and I were talking in our shared tent. He seemed different as if he was nervous and saddened. I thought that it was something with before he came to camp.
"Greyson what's wrong you're acting strange?" I asked him
"Lots of stuff... I don't want to talk about it." He replied.
"Are you sure?" I said poking him in the side.
"Yes I'm very sure." He said standing up and moving to his cot. "I am going to bed goodnight."
"Goodnight." I told him and turned out the light going to pester Zoe and Jessie.
I walked into their tent to find them together sharing a long kiss. They stopped as soon as I stepped in, and they both turned bright red.
"Oh... hey Gabbie... Um this was unexpected." Jessie said rubbing the back if his neck.
"Yeah a little warning next time would be nice." Zoe growled.
"Well I'm sorry I didn't figure you two would be doing that, and we need to talk." I growled back.
"Well what about? We're kinda busy." Zoe said and Jessie nodded in agreement still red.
"Greyson... He's acting funny. Like he's sad we're winning funny." I told them
"He seems like he's on our side." Jessie said
"How many times must I tell you? Just because something seems doesn't mean something is jessie. Anyways Gabbie what kind of strange is he acting?" Zoe said
"He acted sad and nervous. Almost like he was afraid because we were winning." I told them
Jessie looked at me astonished at what I was saying. Zoe sat there thinking, and thinking until I asked her what she was thinking about.
"I need some fresh air!" She squeaked and ran outside.
