Jessie's pov

          We had finished supper and zoe led us outside. She called in her black dragon. As soon as the others found out who she was they were bowing down to her.
          "Come on Zoe relieve them of their groveling it's annoying." I told this girl who had just made it to camp.
          She was so pretty with her hair being red on the bangs and underneath. The look suited her so well. Wait do I have a crush on this girl. I thought and instantly snapped out of it.
          "So do you have the red dragon skin cloak sewn with dragon wing and the cursed blade?" Gabbie asked still skeptical
          "Yes I have it I'm the legendary one after all. But please don't make a big deal out of this." Zoe pleaded.
          We all agreed and we walked to campfire. We sat together sang some dumb songs and went back to our cabins to ready ourselves for night capture the flag.
          I invited zoe to be on our team and she agreed. I was hoping that her dragon would be fast enough to get the flag.
          I ran out of my cabin to go get Zoe and show her where the game would be played. I found her outside her cabin waiting in a red cloak and next to Char. 
          "Well it certainly took you long enough to get here Jessie." She growled at me mounting up on her dragon
          "I'm sorry my cabin mates distracted me. And Otum was being stubborn." I said patting my bronze colored dragon.
          "I wouldn't know Char is very willing and I don't have any cabin mates. Anyway show me where this place is." She said as I flew up.
          I waited for her to get off the ground and we went on to the training field. It was split in half by a creek.
          "Alright everyone gather up! Reds you are guard. Black and green you are getting the flag bronze you are distraction." I said as leader I knew who had what dragon.
          Black dragons are always the fastest I knew from the black dragons I tried to tame. I just hope zoe is good at this type of thing.
          I saw her scratching Chars neck and muttering some things like they were having a conversation. She pulled her cloak around her and laid down close on her dragons neck.
          "Go!" I heard gator yell.
          Zoe and Char shot off towards the enemies flag. I was right she was traveling at the speed of sound no dragons fire could keep up with her.
          Their flag was surrounded in fire, and they just flew right through it. She wasn't even singed maybe that was real dragon skin.
          Flag in hand they flew back through the enemies' defenses. They made it back in a matter of seconds.
          "That's a game!" Gator yelled and our team went to congratulate them.
          Zoe pulled off her hood and shook out her hair. She handed me the flag and got off her dragon. She gave her dragon a hug and they walked off like nothing happened.
          I followed flying high above to make sure I couldn't be seen. They flew up once they were away from everyone else. I followed them for some time until they came to the river that fed the creek.
          They landed and I landed but stayed out of sight. I heard them arguing...
          "It seems like all they care about is winning it doesn't seem like they care about me. Just some stupid flag!" Zoe yelled on the verge of tears.
          "They care about you here. They love you you have friends here." Char said
          "The only friends I have made are the outcasts." She complained
          "I know that and you will thank me later for not letting you be friends with the populars." Char insisted "Here you are loved and cared for it's safe here."
          "They have already given me mean looks. They will hate me once they find out that I killed the king."
          "You did it to save all the dragons the world was on the verge of destruction." Char insisted.
          I couldn't stand it anymore I had to talk to her. Her being sad was killing me. Wait I didn't have a crush on her did I?
          "Zoe it's ok you've got friends here." I said coming out from behind a rock.  
          "Don't ever do that Jessie!" She yelled jumping back and falling in the water.
          "Sorry about that you looked sad so I followed you." I told her.
          "Well since you're here are you my friend?" She asked
          "Yes of course I'm your friend you're awesome!" I said trying to make her feel better.
          "You just think that because of Char!" She yelled sitting down.
          "No I thought you were cool before I knew who your dragon was." I told her trying to win her trust.
          "Really you think I'm a good person?" She asked
          "Yes I do, now you're bound to be cold let me gather some sticks and we can have a fire." I said walking off a little ways gathering some sticks to make a fire.
         I came back and made a small fire using the dragons of course. We must have talked for a hour or so before we went back to camp.
