Instructions for Dummies (From another dummy):

Use 6B or anything darker than 2B around the mouth, the nose and the ears, also the brows for that dark shade.

Little shades around the paws and also the dog's sitting posture will add more required depth.

And, always wipe the reference lines after the image is etched since reference lines on a set picture is very unflattering.

Fortunately, I've left mine for the example.
