oo hot. It reminded him of when he met Martha long ago, on a night exactly like tonight.
Chapter Seven: Flashback: The Tradgedy
A couple days had gone by. Frank and the rest had all gone home. It was a dark and cloudy evening. Everything was peaceful, at first. Martha was rocking a whiny Mavis, trying to get her to go to sleep. Suddenly, there was a noise outside the door. It was the townspeople. "Vampire!" Some of them yelled.
"How did they find out?" Dracula asked.
"I don't know." Martha replied. "Drac, I'm worried."
"Don't worry, we'll be fine." He reassured. The townspeople were getting louder and louder by the minute, making Mavis cry even louder. Martha looked really tired. To calm Mavis down, she sang her a little song.
"My dear little Mavy, let me wipe all your poop away. Those humans are nasty, so with mommy you will stay. And if a human tries to harm you, I'll simply say... (Roars) Because your Mommy's girl."
The humans outside heard the roar, and shouted even louder.
"Honey?"
"Go hide." Dracula answered. "I'll take care of this."
"Vampire!" The townspeople shouted. "Vampire!"
"People, people, we are friendly, I promise." Dracula tried to convince them.
"How do we know you're not just saying that?" A man shouted.
"You'll probably suck the blood of our children while we're asleep!" A woman with a boy and girl shouted.
"Yeah!" All of them shouted.
"People, people! Please!" Dracula cried out.
A human threw a torch inside the castle, catching it on fire. Then, there was a scream from upstairs.
"Martha!" Dracula shouted as he climbed upstairs with his vampire speed. Martha was lying dead on the floor, a human climbing out of the window, holding a bloody knife, and Mavis was lying by Martha's side, crying. Dracula scooped Mavis up in his arms, and with vampire speed ran far from the castle so the humans couldn't find him. He stood there, watching his castle, and the one he loved more than anything in the world, burn down to the ground.
