Dracula

My birthplace was in danger but I have family of my own now.

"Dracula?" I looked down at Victoria

"It's alright darling, she's gone."

"Who was she?" Joy started crying

"Go feed her and I will tell you everything." She nodded and she left my arms and walked inside, I looked toward the moon.

"What am I going to do? My birthplace is in trouble but I can't just leave my family nor can I take them." I said talking to myself, I rubbed the back of my neck unsure of what to do.

Later I walked into the grand living room and found Victoria feeding Joy, I sat down next to her as she finished wrapping the baby up. She looked at me and nodded as I sighed and took her hand.

"The women's name was Luna she is my sister from my birthplace, her and other vampires lived there, it was our nest, in the nest we have a ruler either mother or father, I was born by the ruler."

"So they aren't siblings by blood?"

"No just by nest, others were called by their names, Luna and Jake were brother and sister by blood, we were the best of friends we acted like we really were brothers and sister, but then Jake fell in love with a human and soon married her, what we didn't know was that she just wanted to get away from her forced marriage, soon I guess she fell in love with her forced husband and told him to kill Jake and she would give him eternal life, after Jake's death, Luna was never the same she left me and never talked to me like we use to, and soon I left and came here."

Victoria stared at me

"Please don't look at like that."

"I'm sorry but darling I'm sorry."

I nodded she knew it hurt for me to think back to the past.

"But what about your birthplace?" I looked at her, and sighed again shaking my head.

"I have a family of my own now, and I don't want to risk either of your lives." I said rubbing Joy's head softly, I put my arm around Victoria.

"What about your real father?" She asked

"I....." I sighed I didn't know what to say, maybe I should go it would take a day to get there and another to stop them and then I could ask father and mother to come here and met Victoria.

"Think about it, but now it is time to go to sleep." I looked out the window and nodded we both got up, and then she stopped.

"What's wrong?"

"I......Nevermind." She said and continued to walk, I knew something was wrong I followed her to the chamber and took Joy from her and laid her down, I walked over to her and held her, she laid her head on my chest and put both hand on my chest.

"What's wrong moonlight?"

"Well, I haven't seen the sun for a longtime and I was wondering if I could go up and maybe look at the sun again." She slowly as quietly, how could I be selfish? I never thought that she missed the sun and I have been keeping her from it.

"Of course moonlight! I'm sorry I haven't even thought of what you wanted!"

"It's not you fault, I will be back in a few minutes." She said opening the door I nodded and blew her a kiss she giggled and walked out.

Victoria

I walked out to the balcony and felt the heat of the sun hit me, I closed my eyes and felt the cool breeze of summer, it was wonderful, I still can't believe Joy was only a month old, born on April, 1st and Dracula's and my anniversary was coming up soon we got married May, 9th, my birthday was is August and Drac's was in January. I opened my eyes and looked out and saw nothing but trees and then an ocean, I loved my life I have a wonderful husband and a beautiful baby girl, nothing could take it away. Or could someone take it away?
