Victoria P.O.V

"Victoria!" she said in shock when she saw Dracula, "It's okay he is with me."

"Okay but you have to get out of here take this and run go back to the castle! "Why are they going to burn down my house?"

"They think you are a witch and that some supplies have gone missing and they think you are the one doing it."

"But I sort if am but only for food for me."

"They are almost here let's go."

We started running and then I remembered something I ran and a box of things around my parents bed and grabbed their quilt.

Dracula ran after me and grabbed the quilt to help me got out to the wagon I got in then he handed me everything and put the quilt over my shivering body, he got in and told his bats to take off, I looked over and saw Mrs.K disappearing into a dot

"Darling what is in the box?"

"Memories."

"Oh okay what is the crate?"

"Looks like food."

"Good now you can eat and won't leave you at home alone as long."

I shivered and pulled the quilt under my chin.

When we got home he unhitched the bats and said something in their language and the took off. I started unloading I smelled smoke and looked to see the tip of flames doing their fire dance of destroying. All of a sudden I felt my legs getting weak and my stomach getting sick at tears stinging my eyes I fell to the ground Dracula was holding me in his arms I pulled away and we brought the stuff in and unloaded the food and then went up to my room with the basket, the box, and the quilt.

Dracula P.O.V

She laid the quilt down on the bed and put the picture of her family on the nightstand beside her bed I could only grab a few things of hers. I got her the roses and the vase, her cloak, a light blue see through robe, a photo album, and a lily from her small little pond on the balcony.

"I know it's not much but..."

She kissed me and said,

"It has memories and that is what matters and you risked your life to get me these things.....thank you."

I kissed her back with passion and we walked out side sat on bench and looked at the stars. All was well.
