Chapter Twenty Five

Hermione and Draco changed into their pyjamas. Hermione was shocked to realise that whoever packed her bag, probably Ginny, had put some... revealing clothes in there for her. She wore white short shorts and a white and blue loose top, the colours purposefully reminding her of her wedding. Draco wore only grey trousers. They lay on the bed, Draco trailing small circles on Hermione’s bare thighs, talking quietly.

‘Would your father approve of us?’ Hermione asked, letting her eyes flutter shut.

‘Obviously not.’

‘But wouldn't he want you to be happy?’

‘His reputation is more important than his own family.’ Draco said, frowning.

‘So if your father was still alive, who would you have married?’ Hermione asked, feeling Draco's hand travel up from her thighs to her stomach. He pushed her shirt up and stroked her small stomach, softly.

‘You, of course. I wouldn't care about my father. But if I hadn't met you then... I'd have to marry Pansy. But I did meet you...’ Draco said, kissing her stomach.

‘Hmm... I would have married Ron. No doubt about that. I never saw us together.’ Hermione said.

Draco stopped for a moment before kissing her on her mouth. Hermione kissed him back and Draco turned around so Hermione was on top of him. He stuck a hand under her shirt and roamed her smooth back, feeling her bra strap.

‘Draco...’ Hermione muttered as his hand stayed on her bra strap.

‘Sorry...’ Draco said, moving his hand down.

‘Don't be sorry,’ Hermione said, taking his hand she put it at the front of her shirt, ‘you're my husband. Husband sounds weird but feels perfect.’

‘Mm... Mrs Hermione Malfoy is perfect.’ Draco said, kissing her as his hands roamed her body.

Hermione’s hand roamed his back and then his abs.

‘I can't believe I have you all to myself.’ Hermione muttered.

‘I can't believe how beautiful you are. Why are you so nervous? I know it's your first time but I won't hurt you. Trust me.’ Draco said, pulling back to look in her eyes.

‘I love your eyes.’ Hermione said, touching his face.

Draco relaxed as she touched his eyelids, his long nose, his pale cheeks, his jaw and his full lips.

‘Draco... I want you.’ Hermione stated, pushing away her nervousness just to say those little words.

‘Are you sure?’ Draco asked. He opened his eyes, staring at her.

Hermione nodded, she was entirely sure now that they were here and together.  Draco kissed her passionately and closed his eyes. Their tongues entwined together. Hermione was nervous and it was very apparent to Draco

‘Just do what feels right.’ Draco muttered.

He kissed her slowly, turning over so he was on top of her. Hermione kissed him back, feeling his warm hands leave a trail of coldness as he touched her places where no one has touched her before. Draco sat up and looked at Hermione. He slowly tugged her shirt up keeping eye contact. Once the shirt was off he quickly took her shorts off and gazed at her body.

 ‘You are beautiful.’ Draco whispered.

Hermione kissed him falling onto the bed as well. They kissed, building up their passion and Hermione's hands went to Draco's trousers, pulling them off as her desire rose.

They went into the late hours of the night, making love, cuddling and muttering sweet nothings to each other, before falling asleep in each others arm.

---

Draco stirred and opened his eyes as the sun shone down on them. The windows were open and only a small breeze came in.

Draco looked down at the very naked Hermione beside him. They had made love last night and he had asked Hermione if he had hurt her. She denied saying it hurt for a second, no more than that. Although Draco knew she was hurt more.

He loved last night. Never had he thought, making love would be as... amazing. He had sex with Pansy before but it was rougher and forced.

Draco leaned down, touching her legs, thighs, stomach, breasts, neck and her lips. Hermione cuddled onto him, her chest pushed against his. Draco trailed a hand down her back and bum, smiling.

‘Hermione.’ He muttered.

She didn't wake up.

‘Hermione?’ Draco said and kissed her neck.

She turned around to him, her eyes half closed. She pressed her lips to his, a hand on his chest.

‘Mmm... Thank you for tonight. It was just...’ Hermione muttered, finding the right word. When she couldn't she just kissed him.

‘No, thank you.’

‘Was that what it felt like with Pansy?’ Hermione asked, her tone suggested she was jealous.

‘Not even close,’ Draco said truthfully.

Hermione got up, trailing the sheets with her and Draco stood up, taking the sheets off the bed.

‘Breakfast?’ Hermione asked, looking at Draco.

‘Sure.’ He said, balling the sheets up.

‘Okay, I'm just going to shower.’ Hermione said, going to the bathroom.

She opened the door of the bathroom and threw the sheet to Draco. She quickly got in the shower and turned it on. Draco walked in and brushed his teeth, glancing at her in the mirror.

‘What are we doing today?’ Hermione asked, draping a towel over her.

‘Anything you want.’ Draco said, splashing his face, ‘Just let me have a shower and we'll have breakfast.’

Hermione changed her clothes as Draco had a shower. She decided on shorts again and a simple shirt. She brushed her hair, tying it up to keep it out of her way.

Draco walked out the bathroom, fully dressed. His hair, wet, splashed onto the mirrors as he brushed through it.

‘Do you want to order breakfast?’ Draco asked.

‘Why? Don't feel like cooking for me?’ Hermione said, nudging him with her hip, ‘besides can we even order breakfast?’

‘Sure we can and I'm feeling lazy today.’ Draco said, picking up the phone.

He dialled the number on his phone.

‘Hey, Mitch? Erm... No it's Draco? Okay. Can I get the breakfast for two pack? Thanks, man. See you bye.’ Draco said and hung up, frowning, ‘he thinks I sound like my father.’

‘Well, you don't.’ Hermione said, reassuring him.

An owl tapped on the window, Draco let it in and untied the letter and newspaper. He picked the letter up first reading it out loud for Hermione.

‘Hey, sorry to disturb you,’ read Draco, ‘but have you seen the newspaper? It's just... makes me so mad! But Dad has sorted it out, don't worry. Love Ginny.’

Draco picked the newspaper up and shook it out. Hermione peered over his shoulder.

A picture of Draco and Hermione, kissing at their wedding was printed and below was a piece of writing. It read:

‘Draco Malfoy, son of deatheater Lucius Malfoy and Narcissa Malfoy has been seen getting married to Muggle born Hermione Granger. This has caused uproar in the wizarding community. By Rita Skeeter. Read on in page six...’

Draco threw the newspaper away angrily. He shouted out a swear, something which Hermione had never heard him say. She tentatively touched his arm.

‘Don't let her get to you,’ Hermione whispered, feeling annoyed that a person had leaked their photos out to Rita Skeeter.

Draco nodded and led her out of the room and into the kitchen. The doorbell rang and Hermione went to get it.

‘Breakfast for two, Mr Mal-’ The man stopped short, looking Hermione up and down, ‘And who may you be?’

The man was short with black hair and blue eyes, his chin held a small amount of stubble.

‘She's my wife.’ Draco said, standing beside her, taking the bag from him.

‘When did you get married?’ Draco asked, still looking at Hermione.

‘Yesterday.’ Draco said, giving him money, ‘we're married so that means you can't stare at her.’

He took the money and nodded, moving his gaze to Draco reluctantly. Draco raised his eyebrows and the guy sighed.

‘I'll see you then sir.’

He walked away and Draco glanced at Hermione.

‘You are too beautiful for your own good.’ Draco said, locking the door.

‘And you,’ Hermione said, slinking an arm on his neck, ‘are pretty sexy.’

‘Of course I am,’ Draco winked, ‘Can we eat? I'm starving.’

Hermione followed and Draco took the food out. There were two strawberry smoothies, pancakes and an omelette in toast.

‘The guys great but he stares at girls. Like when I bought Pansy here he-’ Draco said, taking an omelette and toast.

‘You bought Pansy here?’ Hermione asked, interrupting him with a frown.

‘Yeah, I... Um... Yeah, I did.’ Draco said, glancing at her before looking down.

‘Hmm.’ Hermione said, taking pancakes.

‘Don't be jealous.’ Draco chuckled.

‘Me? Jealous? Why would I be? You're only my husband.’ Hermione said sarcastically, ‘Besides if I had told you about why myself and Ron got up to when Harry and Ginny were asleep.’

‘That's not funny.’ Draco said, glaring at her.

Hermione looked away. She looked behind Draco at the living room. The walls were painted green and the floor was covered in wood. There was a green sofa and Hermione thought she saw a TV.

‘What are we doing today?’ Hermione asked, looking at her half eaten pancake.

‘What do you want to do?’ Draco asked, already finished his food, he sipped on his smoothie.

Hermione shrugged as the doorbell rang. Draco groaned, wanting to eat in peace, but got up and answered the door. She heard two male voices talking. Hermione got up, curious now, and walked over to the door.

‘Wow, she's pretty hot.’ Draco's friend said, grinning at Hermione when she came over.

‘She is taken.’ Draco glared at him.

Hermione offered a hand, ‘Hi, my name's Hermione.’

‘David,’ the man said, taking her hand, ‘well, Hermione, how would you like to come to a party tonight?’

‘No.’ Draco said, already trying to shut the door, ignoring the looks from Hermione.

‘Aw come on! It's down the beach at nine. Come if you want to.’ Draco shoved David out the door and slammed it shut.

‘All my friends are going to flirt and try something with you. We're not going.’ Draco said, at the look on Hermione's face, ‘We can watch a film?’

He led her to the green sitting room before she could answer and let her choose the film. Hermione was surprised they had so many films to choose from.

The doorbell rang again and Draco sighed before getting up. He opened the door as Hermione chose Romeo and Juliet. She chuckled to herself thinking of Draco's face when he saw the film. She heard raised voices coming from the hall.

‘Don't be so harsh on David!’ Hermione chuckled.

Footsteps came towards the sitting room and Hermione frowned, surprised as she saw Pansy. She flung a newspaper to her, with a huge sneer on her face.

‘How dare you take him from me?’ Pansy shouted, her annoying voice already giving Hermione a headache, ‘He is mine! Understand? He doesn't love a mudblood like you. Don't you get it? He's playing you.’

‘What? Get out of here,’ Hermione frowned, standing up now. She couldn’t believe Pansy had barged in here... and on her honeymoon too!

‘You get out,’ Pansy challenged. Hermione kept her ground so she continued, ‘I'm surprised he hasn't told you he brought me here all the time. Trust me when I say, he doesn't love you.’

‘Get out before I do something to make you uglier.’ Hermione whispered menacingly.

‘Try it and see what happens.’ Pansy whispered back.

‘Get away from her.’ Draco shouted, coming between them.

‘Draco,’ Pansy whispered, hugging him.

Hermione lifted her wand and advanced towards Pansy who put her hands up in surrender. She backed her out the house and locked the door with her wand, ignoring Pansy’s protests. Draco stood behind her.

‘You're right. I am jealous.’ Hermione said, hugging him, ‘You're mine! Understand?’

Pansy’s protests stopped as she apparated away with a crack.
