I got out of the compartment as fast as I could. I dislike how people decide to judge someone because of their family, I didn't ask to have that label. "Firs' years over 'ere." A giant man said as a bunch of people walked towards him. Ohh look my peers, the ones who'll judge me by my family also.

    I walked towards him to here my name. "Lexi!" I turned around. "What do you want Draco?" I asked while smiling, I might dislike my family but Draco was my brother and I just couldn't dislike him for some reason. "Which house so you think you'll get into?" I smiled, "I dunno probably Ravenclaw." I said making the people around him laugh. "Shut it! That's my sister you gits!" Draco yelled. I just continued my way over to the tall man.

    We got into boats and I just happened to get into one with a girl with buck teeth and bushy hair. She was still pretty despite all of that, just in her own way. I smiled and we introduced ourselves to each other and became instant friends. This was going to be interesting.

   My knees were slowly turning to jelly as I waited for my name to be called. "Malfoy, Draco!" A stern looking woman called. He slowly walked up and when even he's nervous it means that I should be really nervous. Hermione had already been called and she got Gryffindor. Maybe we'll see each other in the library after I get Ravenclaw. I definitely won't get Gryffindor, I'm not brave at all.

   When I linked eyes with Draco he smiled and the hat immediately called out "Slytherin!" I smiled for him. But if faded once I heard, "Malfoy, Lexi!" I slowly walked up to the stool where a second ago my brother sat. I just remembered happy times with him as the patchwork hat was placed on my head.

   "Well, Well the twin Malfoy. You are nothing like him, your brain thinks a completely different way." I heard a deep voice call out. I was scared for a moment sense I thought he was saying it out loud. 'What do you mean?" I thought immediately. "I mean that you don't have as many Slytherin qualities as him, you think completely different thoughts. Like when I was placed on his head he just thought of himself being a leader of a bunch of goons. While you remembered good times with him instead to calm you down. Quite interesting really. First Malfoy in a century to have Slytherin ruled out." I smiled, 'Well in not like my family.' "Not in the slightest, although you are very ambitious.This is quite peculiar, you aren't a Hufflepuff or a Slytherin. You seem to value Putting yourself at risk for the ones you love, which not many people believe in or they are all talk no action." 'Shouldn't everyone?' I asked. "In my eyes yes, but I'm talking about you and your opinions not mine." 'Seems fair.' "Okay so you are very clever but you don't value knowledge you just enjoy getting more of it. I know where to put you!" 'Finally it felt like an eternity, but it was fun. Hope to speak to you again.' "Hope we will." I grinned so widely. "Gryffindor!" And this time I knew it was our loyd. I looked at my brothers shocked face as the hat was removed. And I walked to my table as I heard very slow clapping. They didn't like having me in there house, but I hope they'll warm up eventually.
