Draco's P.O.V

I carried her into my room and laid her down on my bed and then I began to lick the blood coming from the punctures my fangs made to mark her as my mate. The only thing I was waiting for now was for the Veela blood I injected into her to give her the ability to mark me back and after that we would be married in Veela terms. I felt her body grow hot and I knew it was starting to take affect she reached up and managed to undo my tie and toss it to the side, I did the same for her. She then sat up on the bed and began to gently unclasp my robe and the she tugged my jumper off. I did the same for her once again. Then it really got interesting she tore my shirt open and locked my lips in a searing kiss after I slipped the offending piece of clothing off she began to kiss down my jaw and throat lightly skimming the vein with her teeth. She then came to the junction of my shoulder and neck and licked it gently a couple of times before biting down with her newly and temporarily acquired fangs. The emotion flooding through me was unbearable and I decided that too many cloth separated us we were in Veela terms married after all. I felt the supernatural bond form as I was unbuttoning her shirt to reveal the green and silver bra underneath all while keeping her locked in a heated kiss. She managed to retain some thought because she managed to get my pants unbuckled and pulled down and I did the same with her pleated skirt. We both kicked our shoes off and resumed our kisses as she pulled me down on top of her and ran her delicate hands down my chest and my hands began to roam over her torso, I kept my eyes peeled for any signs of discomfort, as much as I was enjoying this her feelings would always come first. I finally reached the clip on her bra and looked into her eyes for a sign of conformation and she kissed me in response and just as I was about to undo the clip the door to my room swung open and in walked Blaise.

I'm going to kill the ponce, I turned my eyes back to Astoria who seemed to be shaking off the venom. Blaise spoke up and said, "Wait why are you in your boxers and Astoria in her knickers are you playing strip poker?" That's when Astoria sat up and said, "I can't believe you. You were using your Veela blood and venom to influence me, I'm not mad but control yourself." Blaise then perks up and says, "I saved Astoria's innocence eh. I always knew I was a hero." Astoria and I then say, "Shut up" My tone was desperate as I said, "But I need you to mate with me or I will die" Astoria snorted and said, "That's only full blooded Veela" I laid my head on her shoulder and purred against her neck and said, "Face it love you are mad we got interrupted" She tilted her head over so that its against mine and says in a devious tone, "Well maybe a little bit, but we have to think of the consequences." Blaise raises his hand in the air and says, "What consequences?" Astoria sighs and says, "Blaise do you know anything about Veela biology?" He shakes his head as I knew he would and then my brilliant witch begins to explain and says, "I will put it in simple terms. When a Veela and non Veela mate which ever one is female will fall pregnant instantly the venom in a males bite will insure a female is ready to conceive and a female Veela is always ready to conceive at a first mating. Contraceptive charms fail in this instance so there is no way to avoid pregnancy. Quarter Veela however are a different story if they mate and no one gets bit it will operate like regular intercourse and Contraceptive charms will work. Knowing this goober however he will forget bite me and then I will be pregnant. I'm thirteen I do not want to have to explain to my parents or Dumbledore for that matter of fact that I'm pregnant. Do you understand?"

Blaise nods his head and then says in a sad tone, "You don't want to have kids that's so sad" Astoria face palmed and turned around fully so that she was looking in my eyes and said, "Did you get the message that I don't want to have children?" I shake my head and say in a warm tone, "I got I don't want to have any children yet and I respect that and you're right I probably wouldn't be able to control myself" She sighed in contentment and said, "I'm glad someone understands me" She then walked over to Blaise and said in a mock serious tone, "Blaise when Draco and I get married we will have a million children and you can be a uncle to all of them and if your not satisfied we can have more." A wide grin spread on his face and I knew that this had not gone over as intended. He spoke in a excited tone and said, "Wow, I really have to practice being a good babysitter if I have to watch over a million kids." I wanted to laugh but I didn't dare too the mood Astoria was in at this point did not bode well for Blaise. Astoria turned to me and said, "Avade Kadavre me right now, I can't take anymore" I then here my beloved cousins voice echoing throughout the common room and she finally stumbles in the room and says, "There you are Blaise what's going on?" I was about to explain the situation but Blaise cut me off and said, "Nevi you will never guess what just happened. Astoria wants to have a million kids and I'm going to be a uncle." Neveah then says in a hyper tone, "Astoria your pregnant I'm so excited!" Astoria finally screamed, "Get out all of you!" She didn't have to tell us twice I grabbed my cloth and raced out of the room and fell on the couch where I had marked her as mine.

She walked out fully dressed a few moments later and said, "I trust Draco explained the situation to you" They both nodded and then she said, "Good that means less stress for me, oh shoot I skipped dinner. Blaise are they still serving?" He nodded and said, "I was about to head down there when the Veela incident happened" We all walked down in silence and took our seats at the Slytherin table and began to eat and all of a sudden Parkinson was literally on top of me stroking my hair and it was disgusting and then the second best thing ever happened, Astoria stood up turned Parkinson around and punched her square in the jaw it was quit the turn on. Parkinson then spit blood out and said in a pitiful tone, "Professor Dumbledore she just punched me aren't you going to do anything?" Professor Dumbledore clears his throat and says, "Not many people know this but Mr. Malfoy is a quarter Veela and it looks as if he has marked Miss. Greengrass as his mate and vice versa can anyone tell me what that means." Hermione's hand shot up and Professor Dumbledore said, "Miss. Granger please explain what that means" Hermione walked up to the podium and said, "For all intents and purposes they are married according to Veela law also according to Veela law if someone tries to come between a mates pair, it is the partners right to kill the offender and the Ministry of Magic will not count that as a crime. In short Parkinson if you continue to try and come between Astoria and Draco, she has a legal right to kill you." She then sat back down and continued to eat without batting a eye. Parkinson stood and ran crying from the hall finally peace. We finished dinner and walked back to the common room to turn in for the night. To my surprise when I exited my bathroom a very beautiful witch was snuggled under my covers in a pair of revealing pajamas. I suppose she wasn't kidding when she said,"I'm going to start sleeping with you from now on." I slipped into bed and saw that she was already sound asleep so I kissed the mark on her shoulder and thought about how lucky I was before falling to sleep."

The next morning was hectic everyone was racing everywhere to try and get good seats for the last trial, something felt off today though. I was walking to my seat when I bumped into Cedric Diggory who was all decked out in the Hufflepuff colors of yellow and black. His tone was warm as he said, "Its a rather chilly day isn't it Draco, hey how's your mum by the way" I smiled and said, "She's good, it must feel great to be a champion, hey Cedric maybe you shouldn't compete today I feel like something terrible is going to happen." He ruffled my hair and said, "Draco thank you for being concerned about me but I have to do this. My house isn't given as much respect as other houses but that all changes today, I will carry my house and our school to victory." I don't know what compelled me to wrap my arms around him in a hug but I did and said, "Cedric you were always like a brother to me growing up even though we argued about Muggle borns I just want you to know you never have to prove anything to me." He smiled and said, "You have really grown Draco and changed for the better, how about when all this is over we go to Hogsmead and get a butterbeer." I nodded and said, "I would like that and I can tell you all about my awesome girlfriend." He smiled and ruffled my hair again and said, "Its a deal then see you later its time for the champions to get in place oh and I will tell Harry you said good luck" With that he was gone. I went back to my seat between Ashley and Astoria, Blaise and Neveah were sitting on the right of Ashley and then Hermione and Weasel were sitting on Astoria's left. They sounded the bell for the maze and then the contestants were off in the order they placed last trial. It was a few hours before anything happened and all of a sudden Potter reappeared before us with the cup and Cedric was laying on his back, that's when the horror dawned on me that he wasn't breathing, Delacour let out a ear piercing scream and Potter was sobbing along with Amos Diggory. Thats when it set in that Cedric would never make it to Hogsmead with me, I also saw that Cho Chang had tears streaming down her face. Then I remembered that Ashley was there so I pulled her against my chest to hide her eyes, she didn't need to see this. Then Potter said something that sent a collective gasp through the crowd he said, "Voldemort's back"

The air surrounding the castle had been somber the last few days, Hogwarts had lost one of its own and there had also been a traitor in our midst, "Professor "Peg Leg" Moody was actually Barty Crouch jr. A death eater. I was sitting on the couch thinking of all the memories I had with Cedric and how much it hurt knowing he wasn't here anymore. I hadn't noticed the tears that began to slip down my cheeks until Astoria sat beside me and wiped them away and said in a quit tone, "We're ready when you are and it's okay to cry if you need to." I looked up and saw Blaise and Ashley in their school robes ready to walk with me down to a little remembrance ceremony Dumbledore was having. Astoria took my hand and that brought a small measure of comfort to my soul. We walked in and took a seat on one of the benches all three schools were in attendance. Dumbledore took the stand and began to speak in a mournful tone and said, "We have lost one of our own, Cedric was a exceptionally talented wizard, a kind soul and a brave champion. He was killed by Voldemort simply because he was in the way. There comes a time when we are forced to choose between what is right and what is easy, I pray that all of you will make the decision to do what is right. Dark days are ahead and we must stand together now more than ever if for no other reason than to honor Cedric's memory" People began to file out of the Great Hall but I stayed and watched the magical picture of Cedric smile, I clenched my fist at my side and decided I would never take the easy way out. Cedric died for what he believed in and as much as it terrifies me to admit this I believe Voldemort is back Astoria is right we shouldn't be afraid of a name. I began to whisper to Cedric's portrait and said, "If anybody dares call Hufflepuff the house of coward's I will hex them into next year. I will not be a coward you taught me about courage when I was a little boy. I never fully understood you until just recently, I assure you I will keep up the good fight. I will not run, I will not beg for mercy, I will not give in or up no matter what. I will fight to my very last breath to protect what I love this I swear to you. Rest in peace my brother, I'm sorry for not spending much time with you while we attended school. Goodbye. I turned to leave and it turned out I had an audience. Astoria gave me a serious look and said, "Then we won't either Blaise and I have got you back no matter what you don't have to fight alone, you don't have to be brave alone we are here for you through thick and thin until our last breath. This caused a smile to creep across my face as I kissed Astoria lightly.

The remainder of the year flew by fast and once again I was knocking on the door of Malfoy Manor, the air surrounding the place seemed even darker than the last time I was here, something was very wrong. I tried the door and it was unlocked and the floorboards creaked underneath the weight of my steps as I made my way towards the living room. My mother soon rushed out and said, "Draco there is something I need to tell you.." A cold energy made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up and when I turned around I was meet with the hideous sight of Voldemort. He was bald and had a face that resembled a snake. I let a tiny magical message float out of my wand, I had to warn Astoria since she wanted to visit this summer. Merlin's bloody besieged beard what do I do now?
