1. Describe yourself as you would a character in a fanfic

Twirling a thick strand of her dark hair with her finger, Emerald stared blankly at the computer screen in front of her. She was sitting in the middle of her bed, a pair of brown boots, a pink floral-pattered hairbrush, and her purse to her right as her phone softly blared instrumental music to her left. The morning sun streamed through her window, reflecting the light through the bronze necklace that hung around Emerald's neck.

Inspiration finally hitting her, she eagerly began typing, But upon seeing the words appear on her screen, Emerald backtracked, wrinkling her nose as she watched the ill-crafted words disappear. From the other side of the house, she heard her mother ask her if she had her raincoat, to which she yelled back that it was already in her purple backpack. Turning her attention back to her laptop, Emerald drummed her fingers against her knee, attempting to force the right words to say out of her brain.

Suddenly, she glanced up, her dark chocolate eyes staring at some unknown presence. "I have no idea what to write for this first question," Emerald announced. "Why did you people do this to me?"

2. Do you have a ritual before/after/during your writing?

I usually listen to some instrumental music while I write. If I listen to music with someone singing, I end up getting distracted by wanting to sing along, but instrumental music keeps me focused and helps get those creative juices flowing.

Fanfic what fanfic I have no fanfics

(Fun Fact: I used to write fanfiction, but the last time I did that, I was in sixth grade and it was super cringey)

5. How many words do you think you could write in an hour if you really concentrated?

Well, I know for sure than I once wrote 924 words in half an hour, so I guess by the math, I could write 1,848 words in an hour??

6. What was your first fanfic pairing plot?

*sweats nervously* No comment

7. Inspiration, time, or motivation

Time please. Because I have no time and I would love to get some more

8. Why do you write?

I have stories that are just itching to be told, and it would be a shame to never record them down

10. What inspires you the most?

Music. Music moves me, inspires me, and helps me in the strangest ways sometimes.

None. Because I've burned them all

12.Strangest thing you've wrote or thought about writing?

When I was about eight, I wrote two books about my Webkinz pets. About a year later, I wrote a play about a Victorian detective named Miss Great and her assistant Billy Bob as they solved the mystery of who stole the royal Christmas Crown. (Spoiler alert: it was the French maid, Fifi.)

13. Which fanfiction do you wish you had written better and why?

All of them because they were all so, so cringey

Gravity Rises is at the top of the list, of course, but others that are close behind would be Law of Gravity, Archive Falls, and Conspiracy Falls.

15. What are your writing guilty pleasures?

I love describing pretty ball gowns. Sorry not sorry.

16. Do you like to plan your story out before writing?

Yes. If I don't know what direction I'm going, then I'm going to get stumped while writing.

17. Are you a fast writer?

It depends. Sometimes I am, and sometimes it takes me a week to get through a paragraph.

I've been writing ever since I learned how to write. I was so excited to learn to read and write in kindergarten, and to practice what I learned, I would write little short stories in assorted notebooks.

The first time she had been invited to one of the mayor's parties, she had worn a black dress with long sleeves and a high collar, gloves, her suit underneath, and a mask that disguises her face, her voice, and her identity. That dress had kept her closed off from the rest of the world and refused to let her to open up to others.

But tonight she would wear a golden gown that glowed against her dark skin and allowed her to touch and feel the things and people she would come across, that allowed her to let loose and have fun without the weight of the city on her young shoulders. She would not wear gloves tonight, nor would she adorn the mask that hid who she truly was from the eager public eye.

And even though Aliyah wasn't attending this party as her hero persona, she would still be Aureate tonight.

Kalmin took a step forward, the door soundlessly shutting behind them, leaving the two with only the light of the bright full moon shining through the window. The shadows danced across the young monarch's face as he drew closer, making Ebony's heart beat faster as she desperately tried to create an excuse to escape.
