Week 4 of Costuming: AKA *sCREAMS*

If you want something to get done at all, you gotta do it yourself.

I was out sick through Tuesday, which really stressed me out because of costumes being due on Wednesday. So I texted three different friends, giving them the exact same tasks to do for me. "Surely," I thought, wrapping another blanket around myself and sniffling. "It has to get done at some point if I tell three different people to do it and give them two days to get it done!"

Spoiler alert: it did not get done.

When I returned on school on November 15th, the day that costumes were due, I spent the entire block cleaning up the mess left in my dressing room and completing the easy tasks that I had originally trusted my lazy, traitorous friends with. And I got everything done! I had finished costuming for everyone! Finally, I was free-

And then came Thursday.

The drama teacher approached the male costumer and myself to tell us that a great amount of dirty peasant costumes (that should be in rags, in his opinion) were needed for a short scene that literally lasts 10 seconds. I know. I timed it. Guess who doesn't have any ragged peasant costumes on hand or in the dressing room? *points at self*

But it's okay it's okay, I'll figure something out. And with Thanksgiving break, I'll have a blissful ten days of not stressing out over costumes! I have promised myself to be calm and to not stress out over this... even though I'll have less than two weeks to figure something out when I get back. And a looooong after-school rehearsal was scheduled on my birthday. It's fine it's fine I'm fine
