More CF Stuff Because I Am in a Mood

- If there was ever a Valentine's Day storyline, I would really want the main focus to be on wonderfully oblivious Grenda and her swarm of admirers who would undoubtedly be trying to catch her eye and ask her out. Maybe there could be some Dipifica stuff in the back somewhere, but the main focus would have to be on Grenda. Poor little Marius would be trying to ask her out, but at every turn, he's beaten to the punch by some other boy, who Grenda turns down without even realizing that she's turning him down. But at the end of the day when Marius has given up all hope, Grenda pops up out of nowhere and asks him if he wants to go out for fro-yo. He accepts eagerly of course, and they have a nice not-a-date-who-are-we-kidding-it's-totally-a-date that ends up Grenda walking Marius home by the time the sun is setting.

- Dipper and Gideon hate each other's guts for the longest time, so obviously something has to be done about that. The co-presidents of the Mabel Northwest Protection Squad can't be at each other's throats forever, and Mabel herself agrees. I would like to think that if she doesn't shove those two into a room and locks the door until they can get along, they would probably end up bonding while getting lost in the woods together after getting separated from the rest of the gang.

- What would even be a nickname for Pacifica's newspaper crew? I mean, when it's just Grenda, Candy, and herself, they could totally be the Mystery Trio, but then they gain new members (Wendy, Gideon, Dipper, and Mabel), so obviously they wouldn't be a trio anymore. The News Crew? The Mystery Gang? The Clue Crew? The Supernatural Squad?

- Let's not lie to ourselves: Stanley Northwest and Pippa Pines are totally alive and on the other side of the portal that's definitely in another part of the Northwest Mansion basement. If Ford is present when they return, I'll bet you five bucks that one of them, if not both of them, immediately punch him in the face.

- Speaking of Ford, I would really really really like to think that his cruelty and jerkiness is a product of Bill messing around with his mind while he was there, waiting for Mabel to be born. I don't like to think that he could be that horrible. I like to imagine that if this is the case, the gang somehow manages to figure out what happened to him and Mabel uses her epic mind powers to go and reverse the damage that Bill inflicted. And then Ford is horrified upon realizing everything that he's done to his friends, his brother, and his grand-niece and nephew, everyone cries, and they all in end in a glorious group hug. (And in the end, Ford sells the mansion and they begin construction on a new house. Perhaps a cabin in the woods?)

- I wonder about McGucket a lot. He's the leader of the Department of Enlightened Thinking, but does he want to be? Is he stuck there? Is he enjoying what he's doing? Does he think he's doing the right thing? I worry about this man.

- When Dipper and Pacifica start dating years later and they announce their relationship to everyone, I want the others to be like "?? Well it's that what you two were already doing? Weren't those private forest explorations and editing sessions basically dates? We thought that was your way of dating this entire time??" The two are sort of offended of course, because um excuse you but they think they would know if they had been going on dates together this entire time. But then they go on "normal" dinner and movie dates, and it just doesn't feel right, doesn't feel like them. So their dates end up indeed being forest explorations and editing sessions, just with more hand-holding and blushing.
