I've been in a big Conspiracy Falls mood lately (although let's be honest, when am I not in a CF mood?), so just bear with me here as I ramble XD

I have a lot of feelings about Dipper Northwest. He's the best protective brother who prioritizes Mabel's happiness and safety over all else, and it is amazing. I've always liked to imagine that in situations when both twins are facing supernatural danger, Dipper switches straight into protective mode, moving in front of her defensively and glaring down anyone with the intention of harming her.

I also really really want the two of them to have some sort of epic fight scene together after both of them discover and master their powers; just imagine it, Dipper and Mabel standing back-to-back with their adversaries surrounding them. They glance at each other and smirk before proceeding to kick everyone's butts and claiming names in an awesome fight scene.

(Bill's honestly not going to have such a huge advantage during the CF Weirdmageddon with Dipper and Mabel rallied against him unless he managed to do something beforehand to get the two out of the picture.)

So with Mabel around, Dipper is brave and ready to fight. In a way, she is his confidence, his encouragement. But when Mabel's not in the picture and Dipper comes face-to-face with some terrifying monster? I would like to think that he's an absolute wimp.

In the forest with Pacifica when something jumps out at them from nowhere? Dipper spazzes out. Some creepy creature gets all up in his personal space? He screams like a little girl and takes off running. Something that I really want is for Dipper to start jumping into Pacifica's arms Scooby-Doo style after the two of them become friends and he joins the news crew. It's- it's just a beautiful mental image and I want it so very much please. Dipper may come off as narcissistic and unflappable most of the time, but he's really just a frightened screaming baby child at heart.

I've also been thinking about how Gideon discovers that he still has a bit of magic leftover from his deal with Bill leftover. I would like for it to happen when the gang are in the newsroom. Dipper and Pacifica are probably arguing over Oxford commas in the corner, Candy and Grenda are working on getting stuff printed, abd Mabel and Gideon is sitting peacefully together, working on their respective anonymous columns. Mabel asks for Gideon to pass her something, and Gideon unconsciously used telekinesis to float the item to her without even looking up. The room suddenly gets really quiet, and Gideon looks up to see the item floating in the air. He glances at his hand to see it glowing.

And then the room erupts in chaos.

Mabel starts squeaking in excitement, and Dipper immediately leaps into Pacifica's arms, horrified. Pacifica's probably scared too, but mostly mad because are you kidding? Gideon gets magical powers too? She's supposed to be the one with magic, dang it! Gideon screams at the top of his lungs, desperately trying to turn whatever it is he's doing off, and Grenda bodyslams the floating object to the ground, only to be sent flying around the room as well as Gideon waves his hand around frantically. Candy's the calmest one and gets everyone calmed down enough to get Gideon to turn off his powers and to figure out what the world just happened. Candy's the best.

Welp, that's my Conspiracy Falls rambling for the day :P
