It's time to gather around the fireplace once again, as Emerald prepares to tell you all another story, this time about how she once spied on a random couple's wedding and how she avoided getting caught snapping pictures of the kiss.

Once upon a family, Emerald and her family went on a little visit to the grandest "hotel" that she has ever been to: the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. It was a huge, multi-level resort with multiple giant indoor gardens and rivers, restaurants, stores, ballrooms, and so much more. While the hotel rooms did have windows looking outside, the true view was on the balconies facing the inside of the resort, where one could bask in the gorgeous indoor gardens that looked and felt like they were real themselves.

One of the popular things to host at the resort was weddings. If a couple chose to do so, they could book ballrooms, restaurants, and even closed off parts of the indoor garden rooms for their special day. And that was just what one couple decided to do during the week Emerald was staying at the hotel.

One day as Emerald and her family were roaming one of the peaceful and beautiful garden rooms, they stumbled upon a wedding. A path leading to a large flower-covered pergola has been closed off, but through the bushes, you could spot a wedding going on. Emerald's parents remarked upon how pricey it must be to have an Opryland wedding and continued on their way. But Emerald remained frozen where she stood, captivated by something that she always finds herself stunned by...

A pretty dress.

The gown that the bride was wearing was absolutely gorgeous. With its puffed skirt, slight ruffles, and simple, shoulder-less quarter sleeves, it was an elegant beauty, and Emerald was in love. So what did she do upon spotting this beautiful dress?

Emerald dove into the nearest bush, whipped out her phone, and immediately began taking pictures.

At first, she was just trying to get a good picture of the bride's dress. But from her new place in the shrubbery, she was now close enough to hear the vows, and she became very much emotionally invested in this sweet couple. So of course she had to take a bunch of picture in honor of the occasion! It only made sense. She even got a pretty good picture of the kiss!

Emerald found herself quietly cheering along with the small crowd as the adorable couple shared their kiss and made their way down the aisle together. As they left the pergola, Emerald watched them turn down a path when she was hit with a realization: the curved path that they were making their way down together would lead them to where Emerald was hiding, where they would surely spot her.

And so Emerald took off running as fast as she could before the couple could get close enough to see her.

She ran and ran until she caught up with her parents on the other side of the garden room. She told them what she had done, and they laughed at her. And when Emerald pulled out her phone again to admire her pictures of the bride's pretty dress, her mother made her delete them because it was "weird" and "creepy". Pffft, yeah right.
