Dr. Watson; Wizard of the Dead
Having found Dr. Frankenstein's detailed notes, Dr. Watson accurately replicates the great scientist's reanimation process, but his creation will be stitched together from great beings. He has decided that It's time to unleash on London a horror which has no equal. One to truly test the insufferable Holmes' skills. One that might even bring about the great detective's bloody demise.
As the thing lays spread-eagle on the platform high above the city, Watson attaches a wire to each of its great paws, the tips of it's wings, and another beneath its metal encased torso, careful to avoid its flammable head. He checks the transfusion line as it pumps putrid green liquid into its veins--an ingredient he believes will drive it to commit acts of unbridled evil. He stands near the roof's hatch, ready to make a quick exit once it lives.
Watson pulls the lever. There's a loud pop as electricity shoots through the corpse. A moment later a raspy screech pierces the air as it awakes and rips away its restraints with powerful claws, then bounds to all fours. Another screech, then it flaps its scarred wings and launches.
Watson smiles as his creation hangs above the city: torso of the Tin Man with its strong beating heart, head of the Scarecrow with its clever mind, limbs of the Lion, infused with wild courage, and the stitched together wings of a dozen Flying Monkeys.
And, of course, his special ingredient to assure its evil disposition; flowing through its veins and pumping through its organs is the melted reeking green sludge once known as the Wicked Witch of the West.
Watson raises his hands in triumph, but quickly realizes he's drawn the attention of the great flying monster. His hand barely grasps the door latch when he feels claws rip into his back and lift him high above the streets.
