THE STRANGE RULER OF THE DARK DIMENSION
Stephen and the rest stumbled into the door, the scalding breath of the dragon had them drenched in sweat. Stephen smacked Sherlock with his free hand, and Sherlock gave him a look and said, "Do I look like a punching bag?"
Stephen shrugged and put the time stone in the repaired amulet, the Eye Of Agomotto as Wong hurried into the Sanctumm, a worried expression on his face.
"What's wrong?" Stephen ventured to ask.
Wordlessly, the librarian pointed outside, their eyes widening as they followed the pointer. There was a fine purple mist in the streets and people had fainted everywhere.
A black mass was swirling out of an opening in the sky, which materialised into humanoid creatures with blackness for eyes.
The Mindless Ones.
Stephen hurried out, Wong following him closely. Knowing that warning the others would be a futile loss of energy, he didn't say anything as Sherlock, Hamlet, Horatio, John and Ophelia stepped beside them. He surrounded them in a protective shield as he proceeded to activate the Eye.
Even before he could concentrate, black shards of Hippocrates knows what hit their shield, disintegrating it. Everyone leapt to the closest side as they beheld the most dangerous of Dormammu's minions.
Stephen scrambled up, forming a sword and tried to behead him, but he grabbed it halfway and threw the sorcerer back. Sherlock's gun rang out as a bullet made contact with an unsuspecting minion, making it vaporize into thin air.
John followed suit, taking two with him, before the others could suspect a thing. Hamlet swiped at one, beheading them instantly. Ophelia stabbed another, her dagger glinting in the light.
Looks like I have to step in before this realm goes to total chaos.
Green sparks appeared out of nowhere, catching the attention of a few. They swiftly fell dead, and the glint of a golden sword was the only thing that was visible.
Stephen did not pay much heed to it, as he focused on closing the tear in the sky.
Well, at the rate things are going, there is a good chance of them losing without my help.
A minion plucked Horatio above the ground, breaking Stephen's concentration again.
"You cannot use your greatest weapon, Strange. What are you gonna do?"
The cruel laugh was silenced by the blade of Hamlet's who looked incredibly furious. Horatio sighed.
Horatio took his sword out of his sheath, stabbing one. However, they were being quickly overwhelmed. Unless Stephen repaired the tear, they couldn't win. For that they needed him to use the time stone. For that, he needed to concentrate.
The rest formed a shield around him. An invisible magical barrier sprung up, unbeknownst to them.
A green glow shone through the Eye, as the minions began to fall backwards as time began getting reversed.
Good thing I can break myself out of this spell, otherwise this would be tedious.
Stephen let his hands fall to his sides as the tear got reversed and people began waking up. A wry smile formed on his face as he stared up, where the tear had been.
Something told him that this wouldn't be the end.
Also, he had to return the time stone.
He was so not looking forward to another meeting with that dragon.
"Well, so, we just saved the world?"
Good luck Doctor, you will, most unfortunately, need it.
A/N: No clue why I never published this but ahem— (and I will have to rewrite this atrocious story as well........well anyways.......yay)
