'This guy's going to be trouble, but if we didn't revive when we did, yuna would have been lion chow for sure. The situation forced our hand. Now he tells me he only wants to save the young. I doubt he'll do anything rash until he learns how to make his own revival Potion, so no matter what, I have to stay tight-lipped about the miracle fluid in the cave'

"Hey!" They turned and saw Taiju rubbing towards them " awesome news, you guys! check this out, you see? I got a whole pot of miracle fluid from the cave, and tha means we can use this stuff to finally bring back Yuzuriha!!" Taiju shouted

Senku has a look of horror on his face, which Taiju looked at him confused " huh?"Tsukasa examined the clay jar intrigued "So what's this miracle fluid you've been talking about?" Tsukasa asked, Senku chuckled and cracked his neck

"I won't waste my breath trying to explain the science behind it, I showing you will be ten billion times faster." Senku starts walking back "I hope you realise what an honour this is, you're getting to witness humanity's revival first hand."

While yuna watched , she narrowed her eyes at tsukasa as she lowered her wolf cloak, hair blowing slightly in the wind ' if you hurt them, I won't hesitate to take you down...'

Back at home

With a small smile, Taiju looked at Yuzuriha's petrified state, wearing the clothes yuna had made for her  "Okay Yuzuriha, I promised we'd save you and it's happening for real this time."  Grabbing her shoulders Taiju examined the statue, yuna was looking through some plants and mushrooms and sorting them out from the edible and un-edible

"What the hell, for some reason we don't have enough revival fluid for even one person," Senku said, looking towards him, yuna knew right from the moment those words left his mouth they were lies "What!" Taiju freaked out, "did I really get it too soon!!"

"Just grab some more, we'll just hang back and play 20 questions or something while your gone," Senku reassured gazing towards Tsukasa.   "But do try and make it quick, would ya? Big oaf?"

"Of course! Be back before you know it! Full steam ahead!" Just as Taiju was about to get going Tsukasa grabbed his shoulder

"I'm the fastest so it only makes sense for me to go, but I'll need to know exactly where to find this miracle fluid."  Senku chucked ' Yep, I knew he couldn't resist taking the bait, once he finds the source of the miracle fluid and decides to keep it for himself, there's a ten billion percent chance he'll stop my plan of bringing everyone back' Senku thought. 

Quickly running into the forest Tsukasa left the three  and the wolf's standing in place, senku yawned and stretched "tsukasa's gone, isn't he?"

" yeah, like a bolt of lightning, never seen a guy move so-" Taiju Cutt himself off gasping at what senku was doing, Pouring in the necessary components to make the miracle fluid " let's make some revival juice, we'll bring her back ASAP! Before he has a chance to return!" Senku began making it as fast as possible.

While yuna prepared in case of a fight

At the cave

Tsukasa enters and finds the pot, seeing the liquid drip from the ceiling, he looks up and sees the bats

" bats." A tiny drop lands in his finger " touching it turns my finger yellow" he then smelt it " I see. The miracle fluid is just nitric acid." He starts walking back and stumbled upon the stone people

Back with the others

"What's going on, you literally said there wasn't enough revival fluid," Taiju looked at the two of him confused.   While yuna stood there "Do you actually think I would set out a collection pot that was the wrong size?" Senku said waiting for me to finish stirring the fluid. "No you wouldn't, wait if we already had enough why did you send Tsukasa out to get some more?"  Taiju asked confused

"It's a calculated risk, I wanted him gone before we brought Yuzuriha back, even if it meant revealing the location of the cave."  Senku told him

"But why would do that? Tsukasa's like totally awesome!" Taiju exclaimed

"That's why he's too much to handle, he wants to remake this world so only the strong survive. And if I may, that kind of thinking doesn't move me one millimeter," yuna said while helping " so you saw too right?..." senku asked while he noticed her hands gripping the pot " yeah..." taiju seemed to catch on as well "Yeah okay, no need to explain, it's cook I trust you to make the right decision, something happened when I was gone huh?" Taiju said with a serious face

"Shishio Tsukasa is an awesome guy, though it turns out, he's a murderer." And of course, he smashed either some or all the statues by the cave

Time skip

After finishing the prep wares fluid, Taiju stands across side from yuzuriha, his grip on the small jar tightened

"Yuzuriha...sorry to keep you waiting, but I'm here, just like I said, I'll help you," Taiju was about to pour the miracle fluid on her head, gently while senku ran towards them " did you forget that we're in a hurry, ya big oaf!?"Senku took it out of his hands and quickened the process.

"Ahh!!You just dumped it, we should be like, you know!!"

"I'm sorry Taiju but we need to hurry, we still don't know when Tsukasa is coming back so the sooner we leave the chances of him finding us with decrease," yuna stated calmly, the fluid dripping off the statue as they wait for the stone around the girl to break "Wait why is nothing happening?! Don't worry yuzuriha, it's fine! Is this fine senku?!"

"Well the reaction isn't instantaneous the petrifaction is much like cryostasis, the stone shell acts as a protective coating made from trace metals in the body, an unknown process causes them to phase-shift." Senku explained  which taiju didn't understand "You lost me senku, it's so complicated..." his brain was becoming mush, yun just shook her head sighing " tch, that's my theory at least, based on an entire year of painstaking experiments"

"Just give it a moment Taiju. His point is if just one part is exposed to the natal, and begins to break down" as she spoke yuzuriha's stone form began to crack " it initiates a chain reaction, that will ripple around the organisms body" as she spoke, more of cracks formed around her " and the petrification is undone" Taiju gasped, having flashbacks

At the school when he was going to tell her

' it's like this yuzuriha...I've kept this inside me for five years....'

When he was frozen and broke out

' I'm gonna tell yuzuriha! I'm gonna survive this even if it kills me!'

And at the tree

'I was able to stay alive because of you'

'Sorry, but I just couldn't protect you...'

' I've loved you... for hundreds...and thousands of years'

one by one little cracks began to form, little cracks turned into bigger cracks which began to fall off.

Just as Yuzuriha was about to fall Taiju caught her, it looked like a real-life romance movie was being played "Yuzuriha, please open your eyes."

Quietly Yuzuriha whispered, "Is that you, Taiju?" Yuna smiles brightened with smile tears, the wolf's nuzzle her affectionately

"I'm sorry!...I didn't mean to make you wait 3,700 years." Taiju says as he began to cry

"What's going on?..." she asked with a groggy voice "I feel like I've been asleep forever...but still, it feels like you saved me, you did, you did right? You saved me from something, oh wow. thank you."

He gasped, before sniffing and said"It wasn't me, Senku did all the work, he spent a whole year working on the revival fluid...and before that yuna found all of us"

" yuna?..." yuzuriha gravitates over at her redhead, who kneels down to her level " hey...yuzuriha..." she smiled, holding back the tears, her best friend was back, how could she not cry, but she was trying not to do so " wow...you've changed a lot..." yuzuriha smiled tiredly " how so?" The girl raised an eyebrow, before getting judged by the two older wolf's and baby sitting next to the girl wagging its tail excitedly

" a lot" yuzuriha chuckles " hello" she smiled at the little pup next to her, then giggled when tepo started licking her face while the other two barked happily

Stepping in Senku apologized, "pardon for the intrusion on your big moment but you need to make a decision Before he gets back" senku said, holds up two fingers"there are only two options so chose carefully. Plan A, the three of you and the wolf's run away this instant and find a new place to live, the farther the better" Meanwhile a certain male was getting closer "plan B, we join together and fight to stop tsukasa's murder spree, using the weapons of civilization"

" come on man!" Taiju exclaimed

"Senku, you should know very well that none of us are going to leave you behind!," yuna said seriously " yeah! I mean really what kind of people do you think we are?!" Taiju agreed with the girl, Yuzuriha stands up nodding "mh-hmm! I have no clue what's going on but I'll help however I can," Yuzuriha added, and the wolf's bark

"I'm not making any assumption or trying to be nice, it just seems logical to give you the chance to flee" senku says, of course they wouldn't

"Listen, if Tsukasa is killing people then we have no choice but to-" Taiju was cut off when they heard the wolf's growling, and immediately caught their attention " what's wrong guys?" He asked

"So I'm killing people?" Looking behind they gasped and saw the one and only Tsukasa standing there " huh, I'd say that's a matter of perspective...I call it culling them, for the be of it of the new world" he narrowed his eyes at them, The wolf's growled at him, he drops his cloak and starts walking towards them, while Taiju stood forward arms out, senku chucked while in thought 'He's not even trying to hide his murderous intentions in front of them, which means anyone who gets in his way...' while he thought yuna noticed something in tsukasa's hand, pieces of a head he had crushed had fallen out

She gasped and said to the others " senku, if things go bad, please take care of everyone...sora, fang look after them too... I'm gonna stop him! Right here! Right now!" She yelled, then suddenly charge towards Tsukasa spear in hand, making Senku eyes widen ' you redhead idiot!' Both Taiju and yuzuriha gasped, and the wolf's let our whined

' this guy killed a freakin lion with his barehands! Your ten billion percent screwed!' He grunted and looked towards where he hid his secret weapon ' now I've got no choice but to bust out my secret weapon!'

As he went for it, he shot an arrows that shot towards tsukasa ' by shooting him now, i can at least break up their fight!'

But Unexpectedly, Tsukasa caught the arrow in mid-air, chucking them aside he spun around and deflected her spear, which snapped, she tch' and unsheathes her dagger, she sliced at him, he dodged the attack, but she repeats trying to slice him

Then somehow, he intercepted with the arrow in his hand and blocked ' what?!...' she gasped, but she remained strong, which actually surprised tsukasa

" I don't like hurting women...but you..." she saw his knee and she immediately reacted, by stepping on his knee, and leaning into the air

Much to his shock, she glass down and kicked him in the face twice, he grunts as she jumps back, and before he could use the arrow first, she slicing the side of his face, slightly as the arrow slightly grazed her cheek

She jumps back holding the dagger up invade he tried to attack, but instead he reached out and touched where he was bleeding, staring at his blood stained fingers like a child in wonder " you wounded me...you actually wounded me..." he looked back at her, and saw her check slightly bleeding too, but she just wiped it off she staring at him with a glare

Fang and sora were barking and growling at him like mad, foam around their mouths, and gums curled up, showing their vicious fangs " you are the very first to wound me...but yet...you knew where my weak spots were and could have ended me quick, but you didn't...why?"

" I'm not like you..." she glared, aiming her dagger at him " but I won't let you destroy anymore statues!"

" yeah! You tell him!" Taiju yelled encouragingly, As she said that, senku and yuzuriha stared at her, dumbfounded

"Yuna...let me make sure I understand you..." he crossed his arms "You'll stop me breaking those statues. That is what you're saying right?"

"Yeah..." Putting a hand over his mouth in a questioning manner Tsukasa began to speak once more

"I don't understand...but you've intrigued me... but if you insist on getting in my way-"

"I DON'T CARE HOW MANY TIMES YOU COME AT ME, I'M NOT GOING TO LET YOU KILL ANYONE!"

He then looked towards yuzuriha, then at senku

"The girl you just revived, and senku...what is I told you I'd kill them instead." Noticing where he was going with this yuna stands in front of her friends protectively and Taiju does the same " I won't let you!" She snarled glaring at him with such fury " oi wolf girl! Stop trying to get yourself killed! I told you!-" he immediately shut up when she turned to him glaring, in a way saying ' shut up or imma kick your butt'

' i get it now...' yuzuriha bit her lower 'this is why Senku wanted us to run before.'

" you protect them instead and quit worrying about some random statues yuna...you should stop with your reckless actions, one day your luck will run out...and senku..." said boy glared at the guy when he turned his head " i suggest should stop using that girl as your shield and man up, as for me.." he picks up his cloak "meanwhile I will do what needs to be done," Tsukasa said turning around and walking away " stay out of my way..."

"That arrow I shot was moving at over 200 kilometres per hour" senku mutters

"That's crazy, he just grabbed it...san are you okay, your cheek" yuzuriha says worried " I'm fine..." she says " your nuts! You ran at him and dodged his attacks! Not only that you cut his cheek!" Taiju exclaimed, while the two were worrying about their redhead friend, senku was lost in though ' what the hell did he mean by using her as a shield?' He wondered while the wolf's lean their heads against yuna's legs, she smiled slightly and pet their heads

Tepo still growling at where tsukasa went

"We gotta stop him! Before he can murder anyone else! "Taiju began running in his direction, san whistled and both sora and fang bot into the hem of his clothing, pulling him back

"Don't you understand what happened, there's no way we're going to be able to stop him with brute force." Yuna exclaimed " I won't give up that easy!" Taiju exclaimed trying to run after him "You saw me attack him, he's to strong!" She whispered and the wolf's let him go, making him fall face first

" still!" He stood back up arms crossed " we gotta do somethin'" senku walks over to the arrow and picks it up " in the. Stone world, there's only one sure-fire path to defeating a monster..." the two in the back ground looked at him confused, expect one "advancing civilisation, and crafting weapons of science." He smirked

Back inside

senku started smashing up pots " uh. That seems wasteful" yuzuriha Said I'm confusion "The heck are you doing senku?..." Taiju asked " staging a scene obviously" he said " this way it'll look like he freaked us out so badly, we just took some food and ran off"Senku said, as he smashed another pot to the ground.

" whaddaya you mean like that? Are we really gonna give up?!" Taiju questions "

" no, but It'll look like it" senku said the chuckled " if we can make some weapons of science, but if gets wise to us? game over, the race is on you guys..!" He explained, After packing and smashing everything, the group started to walk through the forest "We're gonna Hunt for materials to make weapons. Starting at hakone!" Senku says while walking " just think of it as a big 30 kilometre adventure!"

" that's like two full marathons, we can knock it out in five hours?" Taiju asked like its nothing..

"Maybe a freak of nature like you can" Senku says, giving Taiju an -are you serious?- face.

While Yuzuriha is sweatdropping, her attention was then caught by the cherry blossoms being blown in the wind "the cherry blossoms seem different somehow" she said

" because the ones we're used to, called prunus yedoensis arent self pollenating" senku said while fiddling with a petal in his hand

" and that means?"

"They must have gone extinct right off the bat" senku stated, she then looked around at the people trapped in statue form

They then made it to the cliff and Taiju was the forest to examine their surroundings " man, what an amazing view!"Yuna gazed out at the horizon, taking a look at the surroundings

What she looks like looking down the cliff, only wearing her wolf cloak and mask up

' it does feel nice to travel like this, especially now that I have my friends back...I don't want to loose them' she frowned at the thought

" it's perfect" senku pulled out his sextant, pointing it to the sun. "What's that thing, a scope?" Taiju said, pointing at it

. "Its a sextant. Its been 35.970 second since sunrise.." Yuzuriha is shocked after hearing the words "You just spit that out like its no big deal..." She shivered "Well while he was a statue, he counted for hundreds of billion Seconds. So he's pretty good at it by now" Taiju explained to her.

"The sextant is supposed to tell you your exact location based on the time, unfortunately, this one seems to be total garbage." Senku sighs "But without gps, this is all we've got. I'm guessing we're around kamakura..I'd love to know our true coordinates.."

Taiju spins his head to every direction, after hearing that statement "Huh..think there's still any buildings we can use as land marks?" He asked, after looking everywhere. " they've all crumbled after this long, there's nothing left ." Senku says

Just then they heard yuzuriha and yuna gasp " hey is something the matter?" They looked at then and they starts to run, the wolf's following and the other two followed shortly after

' isn't that...' yuzuriha gasped " it looks like there's some kind of clearing in the trees up ahead!" They then stopped at the clearing, and saw what was still standing " kamakura's landmark is still standing"

Taiju laughs happily while senku chuckled " our location, is 35 degrees, 19 minutes north by 139 degrees, 32 minutes east" he calculates.
They all see an enormous statue of Buddha, staring in amazement, Yuna turned and saw Yuzuriha in tears, She gasped and pat her back for comfort, as the wolf's whin seeing her crying

"HEY! WHAT'S WRONG YUZURIHA! DID SOMEONE MADE YOU CRY?!"Taiju asked as he looks around. "WAS IT ME?!" He points to myself.

"I'm not crying! I mean I am, but it's not that kind of crying, cause it's not anyone's fault okay?." She assured "It's just...this is a lot for me to handle...I haven't beeen up for a full day, and none of this feels real to me yet...but seeing the great Buddha of kamakura like this...makes me realise that we really are in Japan...and thousands of years have passed by without a us...I thought about my mom...and dad...and everyone else.... and I just" Yuzuriha said as she wipe her tears away.

Yuna grabbed Yuzuriha's hand and gripped it tight. "Yuzuriha, don't worry. We're going to beat Tsukasa, and we'll save all of humanity." She said.

"Sans right Yuzuriha!" Taiju yells. He goes close to Yuzuriha.

Yuna pulls back and stood next to Senku.

"Thank the great Buddha here for showing us the way! He's still standing strong after thousands of years, just like a god!" He turned back to the others " hm? Or like A Buddha." Taiju said has he points at the Buddha " well, anyway! It's a true inspiration!" He said putting his hands on his hips " hahaha!"

"Well. Yeah. The statues made outta bronze." Senku says almost killing Taiju's inspirational speech " the chemical compounds resistant to corrosion" he said

"Look though!" Taiju says standing in front of the statue "there's no trees, plants or anything growing around the Buddha! Kind of like he wanted us to find him so he made it super easy!"

"Well yeah. It's leaking copper ions like crazy. And those are toxic to most kinds of vegetation" senku said, he then smacked his palms together " that gives me an idea, though! We'll use bronze to make mirror!" He then jumps on the statue " time to give my crappy sextant an upgrade! I just need some of this, so..."He holds the hammer and starts to hammer away at the Buddha statue.

"NOO! STOP!! AH THATS LIKE SO WRONG! DONT HURT THE GREAT BUDDA!" Taiju exclaimed running at him, this made both the girls laugh while they argued

Time skip

They rest of the trip was actually pretty fun, well for the three and the wolfs, someone was still not fond of walking, they then stopped to rest for the night since the sun was beginning to set, the two girls prepared a meal for Everyone, The two girls fall asleep, as well as the wolfs while the two were awake " what the hell are you doing?" Senku asked

" guarding us against predators" Taiju said " and tsukasa might come after us as well"

" sorry man but if the lion killer finds us we're screwed, so stressing about him is illogical," senku says

"Hm?...seriously?..." taiju says looking over

" just go to sleep!" Senku turned over " you need rest to do your job ya big oaf!"

Next day

It was morning and they all decided to keep walking, with yuna in the front and the wolf's at either side of the group, tepo was walking next to yuzuriha's legs " if we continue north for about 10 kilometres, we'll see the river" she says " hey yuna, you said to leave it to you to find the river, but do you really know where your going? It's true we're progressing, but how do you know where your going?" Yuzuriha asked raising an eyebrow " the cliff side, while we were standing on it, i memorised the Surroundings below" she pointed at one really tall tree ahead " I remember that one, if we continue this way, we'll eventually see the river" she says while the others look at the tree ' really?...' they sweatdropped

She suddenly stopped " hold on..." she said with her hand up, alerting everyone and the animals " is it tsukasa?" Taiju got ready to defend

Suddenly she draws her bow and fires at a bush next to them, and they heard a hissing sound, peaking slightly they saw something slivery, which hissed starts them " snake!" Yuzuriha shrieked back up and Taiju standing in front of her

" back up!" Yuna exclaimed "It's a mamushi, that snake is venomous!" She exclaimed, it hissed while trying to attack, but the arrow held it back" move it! Don't stop!!" Yuna exclaimed as they started running, the wolf's growling " go!" Yuna exclaimed at them, just then the snake got free, still wounded and launched an attack, with quick reflexes, she caught its head while it wiggles

" holy!...." senku exclaimed while he and the others had seen, it was still wigging " all In favour of me getting rid of this, instead of keeping it for food, raise your hand!" The trio immediately raised a hand each " yep, I thought so" yuna moved into the bushes so they wouldn't have to watch, and killed the damn thing, then walking back out

" let's keep moving, the river should be just up head" she said taking the lead again, the trio in shock, and the wolf's in curiosity looking at her" we just saw that...right?" Taiju asked " hm-hmm" the other two nodded

Time skip

The gawked at what they found in front of them, the river, just like she said " see, I told you!" She grinned " awesome!" Taiju says jokingly" yuna's like a walking gps" she laughed at, meanwhile senku was staring in shock still ' she memorised the whole area surrounding the river, plus caught and killed a venomous snake...' his lips curled into a amused smirk ' she's crazy!'

They walked through the stream but it got way too deep eventually, so they built a raft and Taiju and the wolf's decided to pull it against the water, him holding two ropes and they held ivy ropes yuna had made

"Looks like out big water buffalo us actually struggling a little bit." Senku smirked referring to Taiju

"Don't worry about me! I got this! There's still plenty of juice left in the ol tank!" Taiju says as he trudges through the deep water "We'll be just fine. Uh" Taiju sees something out of the corner of his eye on yuzuriha's foot "Hey, Yuzuriha, your toe is still looking kinda rocky looking" Taiju said. 

"Yeah I know, not gonna lie, it's not great.." Yuzuriha admitted. "But I don' t want you to worry about me."  She said sheepishly

"But I am worried tho-" Taiju was hit by the raft when he stopped mid-swimming and went under, making the wolf's bark

In shore

Taiju then pours some of the miracle fluid onto the petrified part, depetrifying it

"Thats cold!" Yuzuriha said and she squirms around. "Feels like the pain is finally starting to go away." 

"Whoa! Does the revival fluid have some kind of healing power too?" Taiju asked  surprisied" though that would be amazing" Senku
Said cracking his neck "It's just cracks filling in, another part of the decertification process."Senku said as he points to his cracks. " I mean, we're still alive, even with these cracks in our faces"

"Yeah that's true." Taiju said, touching his as yuna did

"So let's keep going, shall we? Soon we can soak up some real rejuvenation fluid!" Senku says as he began to walk

" I just remembered something that's in hakone!" Yuzuriha smiles while Taiju gasped happily

Meanwhile

Tsukasa arrived back at the base, and examines the frantic like footprint and paw prints

"The rooms been torn up...and there's all these footprints...seems like they panicked and ran..." Tsukasa says, a smile made its way on his face he smirked and stood up "Yeah. Exactly what they want me to believe, I'm no fool"

'I know senku and yuna aren't the kind of people to turn tail and run...but why would they secretly go west?' He looked towards the direction They went in ' it's obvious...senku's planning on using his knowledge of science...to make weapons to fight me...but where did they go?...'

With the group

They made it to their destination "Ah! We made it to the goal, guys! Hot springs here we come!!" Taiju yells and jumps " wow! And the view of Mount Fuji is incredible!" Yuzuriha smiles Just as yuna does as the gazed over at the mountain, She turned back and saw Senku worn out" it's great yeah...but you guys better not forget the real reason that we traveled this way" he smirked, regain his composure

" so what's is this weapon of science?" Taiju asked, senku chuckled " oh just one of the greatest inventions in history." Senku raised his fist " smartphones?"Taiju asks quickly

" you do love your smart phones. Wrong" he holds his hand out, making a pistol holding gesture "the gun. We're gonna make some gun powder" he smirked " the Stone Age was two million years ago,  gunpowder was invented fairly recently, in comparison, about 700 a.d. basically, we're gonna warp ahead 1,998, 700 years, a giant leap in civilisation, time to get excited, you guys" he smirked

Back at base

Tsukasa gasped  in realisation " hakone...if they make gunpowder...I don't stand a chance...senku can do it..so I have to stop him before that happens..."

With the guys

" lucky for us, Japan is full of volcanoes, go to any hot spring and There's a plethora of sulfer just waiting to be taken" senku says using his hammer on the ground " and that's the main component of gunpowder" he picks up some of the sulfer in his hand " we're about to create our ultimate weapon against tsukasa, some black powder should do the trick just fine" then let's them fall to the ground
