Taiju reaches to his friends to find Senku on the floor dead. Taiju runs and cradles Senku's lifeless body "SENKUU!!" Taiju yells in tears "OPEN YOUR EYES!! WAKE UP AND SAY SOMETHING!!" He yells, Yuzuriha cries out while yun was still paralysed, tears still pouring out, tepo whimpering while nuzzled at her knees, Sora whimpered, nuzzling her head against the teens lifeless hand, fang standing next to san, nuzzling his head against her crouched figure

" COME ON! THIS CANT BE RIGHT! THERES NO WAY!!! DONT LET IT END LIKE THIS! SENKU!!! AFTER EVERYTHING YOUVE DONE! YOU CANT JUST DIE!!! TALK TO ME!!!!!!!" Taiju yelled with tears in his eyes

"I have him a painless death...it's over. I trust as his friends..... you will give him a proper burial." Tsukasa says

Tsukasa feels that something is off. He looks at yuna and she's giving out a silence that chills him.

' even if Taiju wasn't a pacifist, he'd never risk endangering yuzuriha by attacking me, that was the powerful dynamic between us...but Taiju, if senku's death sends you into a rage and drives you to attack me mindlessly...then I'll have to kill you too... Please...Don't loose your head...." Tsukasa thinks ' but...' his eyes look towards the crimson red hair of san's depression form ' in her case...'

Yuna was whipping the tears from her eyes

"Yuna, you can resent me all you want, but it's useless, unlike senku, i want to create a world untainted, filled with only pure innocence, you and me are more alike than you think, you lived in a cruel world, even if you show others kindness, they repay you in mockery and sneers, I know your upset...." he hovers over her, not receiving any response, only the wolf's growling at him, this time, not whimpering away as he glared at them, so he turned back to yuna " you are the most powerful female I've ever laid eyes on, and I'm the Most powerful man, it's a sign granted that we should be together"

She clenches the her wolf fur hood "it would be pitiful to see your talents wasted and see you wither away in your own despair..." Yuna stands up, facing him with her bands Covering her eyes, stretching out his hand " come with me, I seek some sort of foundation for myself, please help with that"

" yuna!..." yuzuriha cries as she sees her friend hand lift " don't do it!" Taiju exclaimed, their hands were inches apart " please give up on him yuna, I like for you...to become my wife"

Her hand stops and her eyes wide a smidge, suddenly to everyone's surprise, she slapped his hand away

" forget him?....be your wife..." she turned and glared at him

She narrows her eyes " what nonsense are you spouting?..."

The fire in her eyes was enough to send chills down his spine "...I'd rather live in a world...with him by my side, then in the wolrd you fantasise!" She yells " how can you judge someone you don't even know?! That's right! You can't! You don't know if their bad or good! Just because one man ruined your life! Doesn't mean all adults are the same!" His eyes widened " that's right! That story you were telling senku on the beach! I know it was yours!   Unlike that man, there are adults that are kind and caring, which you just smashed to pieces! I know the world can be cruel...but there's something far more beautiful!"

Yuzuriha and Taiju gasp happily knowing. They hadn't lost yuna, the wolf's howling in the back ground

" I didn't expect you to have this side yuna, it's beautiful I'll admit, you are just like me...by opposite..." tsukasa's words turned dark, his spear raised over the right side of her neck, she held it and does the same with her dagger on his left, the wind blows through her red hair

' but her crimson hair is a flame that might burn me to ashes...' she continues to glare at him, eyes of pure rage

Yuzuriha sees Taiju lifts up a large boulder   "What're you doing?!!" Yuzuriha yells in concern  "It's fine, Yuzuriha. Don't worry ." Taiju said holding the boulder " I'm still thinking clearly" He mumbles something to her, She looks shocked then she tears up  "sorry Yuzuriha, i can only hope.."

  "No, it's okay Taiju, after all, the four of us made eachother a promise...it'll all work out, theirs no doubt in my mind!." She said Tearfully but had a smile on her face  

"Yeah, thanks a lot Yuzuriha!" Taiju says 

" your nothing but a coward..." yuna voice darkened " you rely on your strength, but itll only get you so far...it won't solve your problems all the time...you're just using it to empower yourself, no matter what I encounter, I'll use my strength and chose my own path!" She narrowed her eyes at him " and I'll never be like you!"

" I see...pity" tsukasa sighs, the offers a pity smile "it seems like I have no choice but to fight you..."

" Taiju! Now!" Yuna yelled

He throws the boulder up into the air with all his strength "RRRAAAAAAAAGHHHHHH!!!" He yells 

' overhead?...Why?...' Tsukasa stares up eyes wide 'It must be a decoy' Tsukasa thinks as he looks up at the boulder, then at Taiju and yuna, who was glaring at him with her daggers out and ready 'good try, but I won't fall for it yuna, no matter what you do, you've lost'

' tsukasa's worried me or Taiju will attack him, he won't dare take his eyes off us...' Taiju in thought '...and that! 'Yuzuriha quickly runs ' is why she and the wolf's have a chance!' Yuna whistles and The wolf's charge at tsukasa' tsukasa thinks I'm Taiju and yuna's weakness, someone they have to protect, and in a primitive stone world like this one, it makes sense, but...'Yuzuriha grab the pot of black powder 

'It's like senku told us.... science levels the playing field! For everyone!' She along with the other two though, Yuzuriha throws the black powder, Tsukasa braces for the wolf's attack,But notices the pot and kicks it, breaking the pot and releasing the black powder everywhere 

'That's black powder...'

' senku's didn't leave us with nothing!' Yuzuriha yelled in her head ' we have science to remember him by!' Yuna and Taiju say in thought 'the four of us promised, to work together and stop you!' Tsukasa looks at the group surrounding senku's body, along with the wolf's who snarl and him

'Me, Yuzuriha, yuna, Senku as well... we're fighting this battle together!! 'Taiju yelled in his head, The boulder lands close to Tsukasa, landing on the black powder. The powder ignites  "goodbye! TSUKASA...!!" Taiju yells, The powder explodes between Taiju and Tsukasa   It appeared that Tsukasa was caught in the explosion

When the smoke from the explosion let up, Tsukasa emerges, but his top clothing was damaged. He tossed it aside and the rest of his clothing

"Yuna and Taiju would never attack anyone. Knowing that, I think they must have expected me to come out of this un scathed."

'Goodbye!! TSUKASA!'Taiju yells in his head

"....So that's what he meant..." Tsukasa thought

Taiju and Yuzuriha ran away from the mountain, into the forest. Senku was held by Taiju on his back, while Yuzu was holding a bag of supplies  and yuna ran just behind them carrying tepo while the other two wolf's ran with them

"When we have to run, we'll run together!!" Yuna yells. 

"It's gonna be okay, senku! You said it yourself, remember? If we're gonna run for it" Taiju began " then we'll do it together!" Yuna finished

" I don't care what anyone's says- your not dying on me! I know your alive! we've only started bringing back civilisation, and your not the kind of guy to leave a job half done!..!!"  It begins to rain as they stopped at a safe area

' what's the point of fleeing?...I know for a fact that I severed his cervical nerve.' He closes his eyes for a moment, the reopens them 'There's no coming back from that." Tsukasa thinks ' especially in a stone world that has no medicine...'

Meanwhile The group were surrounding senku's body ' I'm trying to give him a heart massage, but I have no idea if I'm doing it right. But I can't do nothing! And this is all I can fthibk of! 'Taiju says he performs CPR on Senku  "WAIT! What about mouth to mouth?!" Taiju says, He puckers his lips about to "Kiss" Senku in order to add air into his lungs, the girls scream

"AHH! Hold on a sec! I think we need to keep his neck still!!" Yuzuriha yells out  

"Because, that's where tsukasa hit him...To his neck...I'd been caught....and senku gave himself up for me." Yuzuriha said with tears in her eyes 

"Wait your saying ....he sacrificed hinself...?" Taiju asked

~ FLASHBACK ~  

"Check out this psychology quiz." A Science club member said

"There's been a tragic accident, and between your friend, your lover, and yourself, only one of you can be saved. Who would you choose?"

"Uh, i think I'd get stuck picking between 'Friend' and  my Lover'." Yuzuriha said

"Might pick yourself in the heat of the moment" Said the boy

  "How could anyone make that choice?! This quiz of yours seems kinda nasty!" Taiju said  "I choose Everyone." Senku said  which everyone looked over at him "I'd look for a fundamental rule....that'd let me save all of us" he said mixing a vile of chemicals

"I would say the same"  yuna says. Not looking up from her laptop.   "I would hate it if I let anyone die really. If you can save one, then make the effort to save everyone." She swiveled in her chair "Guess that's the kind of answer youd expect from the science clubs president and Vice President" yuzuriha giggled

" that's actually an option? Well then, it's my choice too then!" Taiju smiled

"I think the point of the question is more to reveal who's most important to you'." He says as he points to the cover title. 

"That's 10 billion percent obvious, our book belongs in the trash" senku said

~ Flashback end ~

"Senku, would never go the suicide route!" Yuna says   "He wouldn't sacrifice anyone. He would stake the whole game on the chance to save us all!" Taiju hands went too the sides of his face " we have to figure out what he was thinking, If anyone can do it, then it should be his friends.!!"   He exclaimed

" he had to have left us a hint!Something..anything!" Yuna grit her teeth while pulling at her hair, the wolf's whinnied, Yuzuriha remembers something she had noticed about Senku  "His neck..." the two teens gasped at what she said "Back then. When I was caught...Senku was drawing attention to his neck. I think that's where he wanted Tsukasa to strike him." Yuzuriha said  

"your right..." yuna gasped "that thing he was doing, it wasn't a habit he always had..." Taiju turns him over " why'd he keep touching his neck and cracking it? Was he trying to tell us something?"

Yuzuriha, yuna and Taiju turned the body around and looked at his necks and saw some petrification fragments on it  " there a little bit of stone left on his neck!" Yuzuriha exclaimed, she then gasped "hold on. We removed the stone that was left in your foot, senku told us something.." Taiju muttered " wait...when we're depetrifed...cracks were filled in as part of the process.."

"Yun! The revival fluid!" Yuzuriha throws her the formula. " right!" She took the jar and She poured some on Senku's neck " it might work on senku's neck, too! There's a chance!" Yuzuriha said " yeah, when he's depetrifed, his neck might be fixed too!" Taiju exclaimed, yuzuriha prayed as the two looked intensely as soon as The stone then cracks apart  "THE PETRIFICATIONS GONE!!..." Yuzuriha tears up

"WAKEEEE UPPPP SENKU!!" Taiju tearfully yells  " I knew you'd live! I knew you weren't gonna let yourself be killed, not in a place like this! Senku!...your...the star of hope....for humanity! For all of civilisation! So please!...comeback! Senku!!!!"

Yuna sobbed " damn you! You better not die like this senku!" Tears pouring out of her eyes " cause I'll never forgive you!"

Flashback

While senku's was in stone form

'One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine...Heh... alright... I can make it past 800, 000 seconds without all but losing consciousness now...guess my brains finally adjusting...'  his stone body lay in the same place it was stuck '

I've been frozen for 117,354,889,550 seconds... so this is the 3,718th spring since I froze. Starting in the spring is an absolute must if i wanna survive...okay. No time like the present. Come on me. Get up!Get. Up! Get up, dammit! Get up! Get up!'

One by one little cracks appeared on the stone Senku was trapped in. Gasping for air Senku got up and yelled, "YEAH! IM FINALLY FREE!!"

Really he lay there at the thought of it, grinning'Yeah. A flashy entrance like that would have been fun' he chuckled ' but I'm 10 billion percent sure that's how my blockhead friend taiju would've done it.' Getting up Senku looked around.

'My first objective is to evaluate my surroundings. I'll start with my own body, it can give me clues that're worth its weight in gold.' He then noticed what he was lying on ' a leaf bed?'he removed the leaves and saw the marker of his body the stone casing had left ' someone was here then, I'm not the only one awake...' his eyes widened ' and to only do it around me, it had to be someone I knew...' he then remembered someone with him when the wave hit and looked towards that area, all that was left was a crater of the persons body and the stone pieces, and rocks layed around it ' yuna! She must have broken out! This is her doing!' He smiled slightly ' but where is she?...' he looked around and saw nothing, no one ' as a survivalist, she be following the first few steps..'

He then lay rocks around where he layed in stone form

'My initial location. the position of my body' he then held a piece of the stone pieces that fell of him ' even the order in which the mystery stone fragment fell off of me. I'm going to keep every last piece for when I'm ready to investigate later, just as yuna did...'

From behind him, he could hear something rattling in the trees, he turned to see there monkeys in the tree, one glaring examining him

'Yo, where you from? Where's your monkey tribe?' They said as if they thought he knew what they were talking about, Finally noticing the look of his body the monkeys froze, since he was naked

."DUDES ALL SMOOTH AND SHINY!"Running away they couldn't help but be terrified,

"Gross! What kind of monkey has skin like that?!?!"

"HE'S GOT HIS NASTY PEEPEE OUT, TOO!"

"WELL SO DO ALL OF US BUT STILL!"

"GROSS!"

All of this happened while Senku just stood there confused

."Am I the first human they've seen?" Senku wondered as he broke off a bunch of vines from a tree.

Tying them around his waist he got straight to work. "Doesn't look like civilization survived, this is a whole new world. And from the looks of things, I might be the second shiny monkey to be born in it" he walks down the path of stone statues in view "Hehe, this is exhilarating, get excited. Now time to find yuna."

Walking around to explore the new terrain Senku found himself next to a cliff. '117,354,893,870 seconds now. This is some nasty mental math when I factor in the leap years, not to mention the earths rotation of the earth slows down by seventeen-millionths of a second every year, it hardly adds up to anything though...' He carved the date. On one of the trees "April 1st 5730 AD, though you could call this year 0 cause it all begins today."

Turning around once more he found another set of monkeys looking at him.

Grabbing a chunk of wood and a stick he place the chunk of wood on the ground and placed the stick in between his hands. "Behold the power of the smooth and shiny monkey. My forbearers had the technology to reach space. and I'll rebuild their civilization from scratch." He smirked, For about 2 hours Senku sat there rubbing his hands in the same circular motion, the monkeys observing from a distance

"He's been sitting there the whole time"

"that shiny monkeys a dum-dum."

" let's go home"

" what a moron"

Lowering the stick onto the piece of wood he began to create a circular motion with his hands.

Even after the sky changed, Senku never stopped for a second. That was until he ran out of energy of course.

Falling back Senku began to compare himself to his friends.

'I'm neither a meathead like Taiju, an ultra dextrous craft kid like Yuzuriha, or a survival expert like yuna, there's no way I could start a fire with nothing but a primitive hand drill...not japans humility'

A smirk made its way up to Senku's face. 'Heh, that's right this shiny monkey has neither fangs nor claws, all I can do is improvise one step at a time, that's how civilization advances."Getting up Senku went to go find the needed material.

He searched around, looking for what seemed to be a bunch of stones.

When he finally found the ones he needed he began to bang them together, when the one he repeated hitting broke he screamed, and continued hitting other rocks, while the monkeys watched

"Why does he keep smashing rocks like that?"

"That shiny monkey's definitely a dum-dum."

And One by one Senku broke each and every rock he managed to get his hands on.

"There's a trick to this, But I'll only find it by trial and error." He scraped a rock against a shiny bluish grey one, which chipped a little 'Maybe I should bash the edges off in midair." Then then started cutting o w with a sharp brown one, which he could hold like it was a fat pencil

' or maybe I could use a solid foundation and aiming it right at its edge chipping at both pieces at once. Can't forget that different stones have different uses.' He looked at the rock in his hand that was similar to the same one sen found

'This colorful piece of chert is the hardest rock around which makes it the perfect material to craft into a knife." Flashes of his study's in science came back to him, and all the experiments he preformed

"Study everything, Try everything." He chuckled at his success

Shiny monkey acquired stone tools!!

Using his newly acquired tool he cut threw vines with eas. Gripping the vine in one hand he used the chert from before to cut the string "I can unravel this season plant like string cheese"

Taking the unraveled plant, Then began to twist it to make it into durable rope, of course the monkeys were watching

" it looks like he's twisting it now.."

"I bet you his brain is just as smooth as his skin"

He then Pulled and it began to hold, smirking at his other accomplishment

Shiny monkey acquired rope!!

Taking a bent tree branch he tied the rope around it so now he was left with something that looked like a bow. Tying the string's bow onto the branch he had from the beginning he places it back on the wood chunk and began twisting it so now it would be easier to move the stick in a circular motion. 

'Surprisingly enough. there are quite a few animals who use tools, crows, otters, orangutans, and more.'The monkeys of course were watching in curiosity'But out of all the creatures in this world, only one can make use of science.' When he was finished, he picked up the piece of wood and started blowing on it gently ' When cellulose is heated through friction and exposed to air it rapidly oxidized giving us...'

The monkeys screamed as the flames bursted from the wood

'COMBUSTION!!' He smirked

Shiny monkey acquired fire!! 

When he thought he was ready Senku began his hunt for new materials such as wood and for food, cutting down trees with his shiny tools, using the rope to pull them along

With the sharp rock and wood, he made a spear, and started running through the woods after a deer, of course he was struggling, since he was a man of science, not like a expert in sports, one of the monkeys watched as he walked away " huh?"

He  actually came up with a plan, with the rope, bending a branch, and some Berry's, he created a little booby trap

' I can take everything this universe has to offer' and the plan worked, the deer fell for the bait and the trap sprung, pulling it and hanging it upside down " I'm the master of science!" He fistpumped, that night, he dragged the meat back to his so called home, with a blissful expression form the taste once he started eating, over time he had mastered making clay pots, and working on a shelter in the tree, Animal skin into clothing

The monkeys gasped at what they saw, him Coming out of the little cabin he had put the finishing touches on his clothes, as he did so he said to the monkeys who were outside.  "Just realized I never introduced myself, it's a pleasure to meet you all." 

"Ahh, what the hell is that!!"

"The shiny monkey isn't shiny anymore!!" The monkeys said

.  "You see, I'm the one of the only two of my kind still walking this world I'm a human being."  Acquired food and shelter!! 

"I intend to build a technological civilization from scratch, and this is where it all starts." He smirked " where ever you are yuna"

"I hope we find each other" he says to himself smiling
