After a relaxing bath, Senku and yuna decided to begin dig up materials for creating gunpowder the wolf's were sleeping, While Yuzuriha and Taiju were relaxing in the hot springs.  "Yuzuriha, I think I should tell you about what happened while we were turned to stone ." Taiju said from his side of the hot spring " on that day, long ago, when I had asked you to come and meet me over at the camphor tree"

' it's like this yuzuriha, I've kept this inside me for five years, and-' Yuzuriha remembers and begins to blush a bright red.  "Well Taiju...you wanted to tell me something back then..what was it?" She asks he stayed hesitant f
But finally mustered enough to talk

"Yuzuriha....for the entire time I was a statue,  all I thought about was finishing what I started to say...for hundreds of years, thousands of years...." Taiju said "But things have changed. And now, I'm this crazy stone world with nowhere to run to." She was shocked at what she was hearing

" I just wouldn't feel right as a man telling you wha I was going to say back then."  She was still blushing, but she then smiled

"I-im sorry! I realise this is all super vague and confusing and you probably have no idea what I'm talking about." He says. 

"No, I'm pretty sure I do" She says back

" it's up to us to bring back civilisation. But once we've saved humanity...when thats been done, will you let me say it then, what I wanted to say 3,700 years ago?" He asked " will you please?"

"Yeah. It's okay, we are gonna bring the world back, I'm sure of it." Yuzuriha says confidently

Time skip

Senku laughed as he placed down, black thin logs, tied together "We have the three components we need to make gunpowder" he smirked " for real?! We got all of engine already?" Taiju exclaimed while the two girls smiled " the only thing left is to mix it up. It's time for a gunpowder cooking class that'll be a total blast!"  Senku smirked Evily

Imagination time!

It was like they had their own cooking show, only without food, the two girls assisting him while taiju rolled camera "Gunpowder ingredient number one, Is sulfer, which there's Plenty of at this Hotspring" he said while the two poorer the sulfer in a bag

He then holds up another finger "Number 2: Charcoal!" On that's what those black sticks were " And we can get as much as we want just by burning wood" he said adding them to the bag

Another finger then goes up

"As for ingredient number three! It's not as easy to come by, but we need potassium nitrate! It takes a hell of a lot time to whip up a batch, so..."

In reality

He holds a bag of the stuff " tada! I took the liberty of making a bunch of it beforehand to save us some precious time!" He smirks, Taiju yells, then thinks "Hmm... nitrate sounds familiar. I feel like I've heard it before..." Taiju said

"Nitric acid! Miracle fluid!Did you get that stuff outta the cave?!" Taiju yells.  "Surprisingly enough, you are right for once simpleton, You get the 10 billion points for that." Senku declares, he then starts to stir

" so now, we'll blend our potassium nitrate in with the sulfer and charcoal. Let's sweeten the mixture by throwing in a pinch of sugar, to give it a little more oomph" he then pours a tiny pot of glucose "Bit of this glucose I extracted from grapes should do the trick!" He said

While storing, the cameras blurred and a robot version of senku appeared " what's up guys? My name is mecha-senku. That recipe we just put together is the real deal, meaning it can actually create a bomb! So don't try this at home!"

Back to the others

Senku grabs a a chopped log, about to hit the mixture. " finally! Pound it down until it's pack solid!"

Just then they heard grubbing and looked at Taiju, who was holding a big rock "Need a pounding bro? Cause that sounds like the perfect kind of job for me!!"Taiju yells as he Carries the huge boulder. 

Senku, Yuzu, and san screamed while the wolf's barked scared "Are you sure that's a good idea? I'm scared if you use all your strength, you could make it spark and go boom! Like with flint!" Yuzuriha says to Taiju.  "Hmm, that's not likely. Yeah no. Hitting stone  with stone doesn't actually create any sparks." Senku said.

"Oh, I didn't know that" She says, Taiju then hits the rock against the gunpowder.  "Hey, you're right!" He says.

"That's because flint is not your ordinary type of stone.bathe metal in it is what makes the spark,..-" Senku stops and realizes. 

A hot spring + volcano + iron pyrite + some unreal strength = . . . 

" iron pyrite?..."

Iron pyrite + Taiju's op strength " wait!-" Taiju using his strength, slams the boulder on the gun powder and it began to ignite, the four looked terrified before running, It exploded, Taiju protecting Yuzu. And Senku Protecting yuna.

The wolf's running away scared barking like mad

After the explosion, yuna felt dizzy but  felt Senku on top of her, They then got off each other, Senku examines the situation as the group got up.  "No problem you guys! This just proves our gunpowder cooking was successful!." Senku says, Taiju yelps when sora tackled him and started slobbering his face as punishment, regardless he laughed " alright sora! I'm sorry I scared you!" He cried laughing, tepo then joined in  " tepo no!"

"That's scary stuff. We need to be careful!" Said Yuzuriha, while Yuna pet fangs head to comfort him

"Yeah it's been involved in a lot of experiments gone wrong, Not uncommon for some curious kid to loose an limb or worse.." senku said which yuzuriha sweatdropped " huh?..." as taiju got up" don't forget this is a Lethal substance we're dealing with," he continued  "... and we are planning to use this...against tsukasa...?" Yuzuriha asked nervously

"No we'll make a deal." Senku says, which confused the lot

"Tsukasa Isn't some sort of random, mindless murderer, think back, when yuna defended us, you remember what he said?"

Flash back

"Yuna...let me make sure I understand you..." he crossed his arms "You'll stop me breaking those statues. That is what you're saying right?"

"Yeah..." Putting a hand over his mouth in a questioning manner Tsukasa began to speak once more

"I don't understand...but you've intrigued me... but if you insist on getting in my way-"

Flashback end

Senku says.  "In other words, under the right circumstances, we can negotiate with him, and with little gunpowder on ourside we'll have leverage". The two in the back ground smiled

'However, If the negotiations don't work out in the end...then we'll have to'

Yuna looked at him and understood the face he was making, so she patted his shoulder, getting his attention and whispered " it's okay, if the time comes, I'll do it, I won't let you get your hands dirty, I promised of protect you guys from know on" she said, coolly " yuna..." those words tsukasa said played in his mind

"and senku..." said boy glared at the guy when he turned his head " i suggest should stop using that girl as your shield and man up, as for me.." he picks up his cloak

" no, it's okay, everything will work out, let's quickly put of the smoke" he said walking past san ' senku...' she stares at him worriedly

~ meanwhile ~ 

Tsukasa is running to Mt. Hakone trying to stop Senku and company from creating gunpowder 'I know what senku's doing, if he's already successfully made the gunpowder, then I'll have to...'

'I'll kill him' both thought

" alright just a little more and it'll be out" tauji said, which senku chucked pouring the water " if tsukasa's after us, there a ten billion percent chance he'll find us"

Yuzu and yuna were gathering water, out of the corner of our eyes we see smoke off the distance.   "Hey, Senku? Taiju?" Yuzuriha says.

" what's that?" Yuna pointed out Both boys look up and they were astounded "A smoke signal?...' Senku wondered  "Is it Tsukasa?" Yuzuriha asked turning around frantically "No, he's in  the opposite direction. And besides, Tsukasa he's got absolutely no reason to reveal his location to us like that." Senku said "so what then? a forest fire?" Taiju asked.

"I don't believe it's a mere coincidence, the timing suggests it's a response,  the smoke we created" senku said

"You mean?..." yuzuriha Began as he smirked "indeed I do...it's time to get excited you three, because it looks like...we found someone else in this stone world." The others gasp

" whoa. There's more people? We're not alone?" Taiju questions "don't think we should finish putting out the fire?" Yuzuriha asked, going back

"yeah, your right!" Taiju said, Just before they could

"No, hang on." The group stopped when senku spoke "as far as they know our smoke could have been caused naturally by a small volcanic explosion. We need to send a signal back before they decided to get up and leave"

"I think I get it now" Taiju said " are you sure? Won't tsukasa be able to see it too?" Yuzuriha asked wary

" we'll be broadcasting our location to everyone..including him.." senku mutters, which Taiju growls

Senku chuckled ' the least logical part of me...which some might call my gut is talking. Lighting the fire is risky...I have to choose between safely and our future'

"what do we do senku? Put it out or light it?!" Taiju yells. 

Senku growled .  "Let's light it up fire the smoke signal!" Senku yells.

The smoke was starting to die down  "We're running outta gun-powder! Grab anything that'll burn and throw it in!" Senku yelled as the group split up

"Alright I'm gonna go get some fire wood!!!" Taiju yelled.

Taiju runs away into the forrest as well as yuzuriha, tepo running with them

'This is double-edge sword, We're telling Anybody within sight exactly where we are...and if Tsukasa figured out that were making gunpowder...' Senku thought, Meanwhile a certain someone was power running their way 'Senku is definitely making gun-powder!' A shell necklace he saw a stone girl wearing came to mind 'That bit about the shells tipped me off'

He remembered what he said ' check it! There are four super useful things you can do with it!'

' i said three earlier didn't i?'

'Senku hid one big piece of info from me, because he realised I was a potential threat...which means...the fourth useful thing you can do with seashells is craft some kind of weapon. I can guess what that is...producing potassium nitrate for use in making gunpowder...' Tsukasa thought, he then stopped when he saw the smoke on the cliff ' there they are, from early on, senku knew he'd need something more advance to fight me'

Yuzuriha was picking up wood for the beacon, and she felt a strong wind behind her, It was Tsukasa...

He tightly grabs her and walked to the beacon with his spear close to her necks

Senku and yuna were looking at the fire when suddenly fang and sora started growling

Yuna turns and both his and Tsukasa's eyes meet and noticed yuzuriha with the spear near her neck, she gasped, then growled, she left her bow with the rest of the equipment while she helped the others keep the fire going, and even if she had the bow, there was no guarantee she'd be able to use it while yuzuriha was hostage, otherwise she'd accidentally shoot her friend

" when one users science to create a weapon, that's when the strongest man is no longer the most powerful, I'd say your looking especially grumpy today. Tsukasa." Senku chuckled.

"Yeah. I suppose that is an accurate way of putting it, if you go down this road of devolving weapons, , and start reviving older generations, and they begin fighting over establishing interestes, and we'll be right back in a tainted world...I don't mind getting my hands dirty...if that's what it takes to stop that from happening...." Tsukasa said

The wolf's growl at him which he glared back " tell your wolf's to stand down yuna, it's not a request" She whispered both To hush, still holding her, Hand near her weapon in case he pulled anything "And by that, you mean killing senku the science man, right?..." Senku chuckles " I'm sure the whole world would be moved to tears by your merciful death sentence"

"Hm-Hmm, but before that would you mind giving me the recipe for the revival fluid? "Tsukasa places the spear close to yuzuriha's neck scaring her

"Nope, sorry. I guess I'm not as kind as you are. I can only look at things as being logical or illlogical." Senku smiles, then turns to them

"So I don't care one millimeter what you do with that girl, there are plenty of other females to revive-..." Tsukasa cuts close to her neck, Cutting her hair neck length.

" yuzuriha!" Yuna screamed

Senku looks stunned and concerned "Don't try an negotiate senku," tsukasa sighed "you never buried yuzuriha, like you should've, your best moved would've been to take her while she was still covered in stone and put her deep in the ground somewhere. In a place somewhere I couldn't find her, be if I thought of that, there's no chance in hell it never crossed your mind. But for some reason, you didn't do it...was it for taiju's sake, yuzuriha's, or yuna's?..no, I think it was for all three..."

Yuzuriha gasped quietly, while senku was still growling " you call yourself logical, it you have your precious friends to care for, always had tons of admirers, but there's no one, I'd truly say is precious to me...and because of that...this is my win..." just then yuzuriha awkwardly giggled, they looked as she ran her fingers through her now short hair

"I really appreciate the haircut, it'll be a lot easier to handle in this world" Yuzuriha then tho their shook, moves towards Tsukasa's spear and places it on the skin of her neck.

" please, don't give him the recipe, senku." Yuzuriha says, holding the spear which pokes her skin

"As long as he doesn't know how to make it himself, he'll have no choice but to let you live. He can't kill you, you have to survive, for everybody's sake, to make sure they have a future..!!"She says calmly.

" yuzuriha what the hell are you doing?!" Yuna exclaimed

Senku's face all scrunched up before he speak, " the revival fluid...is a combination of nitric acid and alcohol..." they stared at him in disbelief "first, you gotta filter the miracle fluid from the cave, then mix it up with alcohol that's been distilled to as close as 96% percent as you can get it....the ratio is 30% miracle fluid to 70% alcohol, and if your of by just a few points, the reaction won't happen, so you should fill tune it by testing it on a petrified swallow feather" he said while yuzuriha was in tears

Tsukasa shoves Yuzuriha but san catches her "Thank you so much, Senku..." Tsukasa smiled.

"And now... I've have no longer any reason to let you." He says he jumps down in front of him, sora and fang growl which he returns a glare, they whimper and hide behind yuna's legs " senku-" before she could finish, he puts a hand up grinning ' what is he doing?!...'

Meanwhilew~

Taiju and tepo were collecting wood, well tepo holds two sticks in his mouth "good. I think this should be enough tepo!" The little pup wags his tail in response

Taiju then looked up and gasped " now there's three smoke signals! They must be responding to three shots we fired with the gun powder! There's no doubt about it. We're not the only ones here!" Tepo barks excitedly

"SENKUUU!!! YUZURIHA!! YUNAA!!!!" He yells .

Somewhere near on of the flames

"Four.." A girl says as she lights up a fire signal

Back in the cliff

"Let's say I did let you live, right?" Tsukasa asks "you would develop civilisation just like before. Can you promise that you won't do that?"

Senku only chucked " the hell are you talking about? I could promise anything to stay alive-" "No. you would never lie . Not when it comes to Science. So will you promise me, here and now for all eternity...That you will abandon science?"

"Because if you can make that pledge...you can live, and then I won't be forced into killing you."

" stop it now!" Despite the protests from yuzuriha and senku, there she stood, in between both of them, dagger aimed at tsukasa while she snarled " you will not do as you please anymore! You say your trying to purify the world!? But take a goodlook at your self! And your actions, because stour acting like the very people you loath!"

His eyes widened, but returned to a glare, with a scowl, with his quick reflexes, grabs her dagger hand, holding it high up, she cries out when he increased his grip, the point where she drops her dagger, for a moment they could have sworn there was the sound of bone cracking

"Stop it! Your hurting her!" Senku cried out, but was ignored by the tall male " your naive yuna, this world has always been tainted by corruption, greed, wars, jealousy, oppression and deception, you continue to protect this world and show it kindness, to those who don't  deserve it, one day, they take advantage of you...so will senku...."tsukasa stated " so what?..." he stared at her in surprise " did you know those people you smashed to pieces?...you didn't know them...you don't have the right to Judge people You don't even know! and don't you ever judge my friend! He's kindest, smartest, and sweetest person! I've ever met!" Meanwhile that very people she was describing was looking at her in shock " yes he's a bit of an oddball! But that's okay! He would do anything for his for his friends! So don't ever judge him! When you don't even know anything about him!"She yelled, eyes full of rage

Flash back

3700 Years ago, also around the time with yuna

" alright next up is senku"

"I'm going to space." Senku says. It was his first year of elementary school " huh?" The class question

"So an Astronaut then? Well that's an excellent dream young man, work hard and when you grow up-" The teacher said.

"No, I'm going sooner as possible ." He said bluntly.

While walking through the halls "then again, I'm just a kid who doesn't know the first thing about science, I'm going to need to study" he then turned to his friend " yuna! You coming?"

" yeah! Wait for me!" She ran after him, And with that, he and his friend started learning everything about science they could "every last thing"

Even building things together " I'm going to try everything, one piece they tried adding to their contraption flew out " ahh!"

Eventually his dad seemed to notice, while in his car, senku was reading in the backseat " I can't help you all that much" senku looked up " but if your serious, I firmly believe that you can accomplish anything through the diligent application of science" His father sold his car, for the sake of Senku. " i've got a feeling this Christmas, Santa klaus will give you all the tools you'll need"

He entered his mini lab and gasped when he saw what he saw, the room had gear, and wrapped up presents in it, all from his dad

So he can pursue his science research.

Experiment, after experiment, after experiment; he and yuna keeps going. without fail .

" so You can burn things with the point of a light from a magnifying glass " he was currently holding a magnifying glass, with a piece of paper underneath it and yuna observing from the other side taking note " what adorable little scientists"

Then they was behind a barrier away from the fire, which was burning a metal pan, being supported by two bricks " haha! Iron sand and aluminium foil are awesome! Thermite reaction is melting the frying pan"

" wow!" Yuna exclaimed

"Not sure that's adorable.." the old man sweatdropped

Next experiment

They were testing their new experiment, that was a machine, dispersing some kind of air towards the plants

The old man on the hill was gawking at that with a man while this was around the time they met taiju

" the liquid oxygen for the injector boils off a ten billion percent at a normal temperature, but freezes when too cold, let's keep trying with enthanol for now until we can switch to kerosene" young senku said to young yuna

" yeah good idea"

But some stupid older kids started stomping on it, when they came back, he screamed at what they were doing, Taiju ran at them, he looked like he was gonna fight, but nope, and senku hit the floor when knocked over, while Taiju took the hits no problem yun did actually kick one, where the sun don't shine, and he yelled in pain

Senku decided to get back at them, since he want physical strong to fight like yuna, he started making something to use against them

When they met, he used his new toy , which gave them the shock of their life, literally

Someone got curious of the boy and girl

"Hey what's that?" a young Taiju asks as senku was working on his latest experiment

"This things an Ablator" senku said "It keeps the chamber from biting up" yuna explained, they then screamed from the reaction as senku had to quickly throw it in the air, it explodes sending the young ones flying

Shop

"Just a few things, sir a Raspberry pi, and Transmission module, and something called a Gyro" Taiju said reading the list,

The shop keeper kept looking at him with a dumbfounded face.

He got back to see senku and yuna working on something, They then stood outside in an open area with a model rocket, are tested, for once activated, it's spiralled out of control and exploded knocking over the metal bar they held it up

Back at senku's house

"For the receiver, We'll use a ' Yagi antenna, like on a old tv." Senku explains as he and yuna forged it together

taiju opens a can of powder" whoa!" and it explodes...

~ Middle school~

Taiju bursts through the doors of the middle school science lab, as yuna and Senku were chatting inside.

"Yo senku, yun!" Taiju smiled, He walks in with Yuzuriha behind him "Didn't you say that you wanted something to test it out with a light payload?" He asked " well I got some help from Ogawa Yuzuriha, check it out!" On the table, were four little dolls of the group " she used her crafts club skills and made us these!"

"To be honest, it's actually kinda embarrassing to have a doll of myself..." Yuzuriha says blushing.

"Aww, I think they're amazing, Yuzu!" Yuna said smiling, picking up the one that looked like her" their so cute!~" she cooed

" thanks" she smiles back " So what are you gonna do with these guys anyway?" Yuzuriha asked.

They all walked up a hill at the local park. Senku and yuna placed the "passengers" inside the rocket.

Senku pressed the big red button and the rocket went flying into the sky, for a moment it seemed to work, before they see it explode "Aww it exploded at high altitude" yuna said looking at the computer frowning

"We failed again!" Taiju whined, Yuzuriha looks on worryingly.

"Wait! Senku look at this." Yuna said.

Senku walks next to her and places his hand on her shoulder, looking over her shoulder She blush and smiled. "Well, lols like we managed to get a single transmission." Senku said.

Yuzu and Taiju ran to our computer and their eyes lit up, Gasping happily.

And they look at the little passengers floating in space.

' I'm going to space...as soon as possible'

~ Flashback ends ~

'You can accomplish anything...through the dilligent application of science'

" I see..." tsukasa sighs, eyes softened " I envy you senku...though I have to admit yuna, your resourceful and skilled, I need someone like you by my side to create the new world, I'll give you..." he lets go off her wrist, who immediately retracts, running it form the sore pain " I'll let your friends live, if you come with me, but choose to stay with them.." suddenly the spear was inches away from her neck, tilting her head up " I'll kill senku...that'd I'd rather not do...so I'll ask again" He says

" choose me, or him "He says " what?!" Yuna's breath hitched, staring at him in disbelief

Yuzuriha on the ground looking in shock from a few feet away, she was stuck in a tough situation, gritting her teeth in Frustration, knowing he would keep uphold his promised, she was stuck, go with him and her friends will live, but be without the proper protection, or stay and senku dies, she knew the only thing she could do would be hard and hurtful for her, she was about to answer " I...I'll go-"

" she's not going anywhere" suddenly senku stepped forward, grabbing her arm and pulled her towards his chest " she's stays with me" she gasped while tsukasa just watched raising an eyebrow" oh? Is that your instincts of your friendships value kicking in, or is it something more?" Senku chuckled "Now don't go givin me that crap, we both know you were going to kill me at somepoint, and no matter who she chooses, you'd find a reason." He said.

"maybe." Tsukasa says.

"Just kill me in one blow." Senku said as he cracks his neck . "Because leaving me to suffer till I die, is both illogical and inefficient"

"Don't worry senku. I'm gonna sever your cervical nerve, it'll be instantaneous, you'll be knocked unconsciousness for without suttering, I won't miss." He says.

Both girls gasp " senku-" yuna gasped when he suddenly....

kissed her forehead, and he whispered something in her ear, her eyes wide before he suddenly pushed her aside and turned to confront tsukasa

'Taiju...' yuzuriha begged for him to hurry and save senku

While he was gathering wood, he could feel a disturbance " somethings wrong..." he then looked down at tepo who was growling towards the cliff " yep somethings definitely wrong! We gotta get back now!" He tossed the wood aside and ran with tepo

"Senku, i have a feeling that if we met eachother 3700 years ago, before all this, before the planet was turned into a stone wolrd...I think you would've been my first real friend" tsukasa smiled slightly

"Probably..." Senku said

Taiju was still running as fast as he could yelling along with a little tepo

Tsukasa walked behind him " senku!" Taiju was yelling, yuna just stood there, eyes pouring with tears, the expression on her face was easily readable, as tsukasa struck, her dear friends body falling

" senku!!!!!!!!"
