Kinro tried to strike kohaku, but she blocked all attempts "Your strikes too shallow" kohaku informs, she then knocks him To the side, ginro tries to attack but yuna blocks him " we're counting on the science team to finish ruri's medicine" she grunts then pushes him back " but she won't get it unless one of us wins the grand bout!" Kohaku finished, Meanwhile senku, chrome and Suika watched at a distance, while the wolfs were in guard " okay, So while gen is smooth talking ol' tsukasa, the science team needs to start on our wonder drug" senku says "Hell yeah!" Chrome pumps a fist "What's next on our science journey?" He asked

" another fundamental consonant, one essential to civilianisation as iron" senku states " the first material in history, to be Synthesised using science, we call it glass"

"Huh?" Suika says confused" what's that?" Chrome asked "I mean now that we have electricity, isn't the plan to start making medicine?"

" yeah it is" senku replied " but in order to do that, we need glass first, those clay pots aren't gonna cover the kinda experiments we're doing" he stated holding up a clay jar " glass can stand up just up to any chemical" he explained " infact we wouldn't have chemistry without it" chrome eyes widened "and it's ten billion percent easy to process!They can be fragile or durable as hell! you can even see through it, Which means you can observe the reactions inside!" The scientist informs

"Seriously? That's bad!" Chrome exclaimed in excitement

Senku's chuckled "To top it off, Once glass is acquired" he turns and looked at Suika "You might finally get the chance to yank of that melon, Take a look at Great Detective Suika" who starts trembling when he's looming "And finally see that mysterious mug" without a second to waste " yoink!" And lifts the helmet off, chrome stared shocked

"Stop senku!" Kohaku exclaimed looking over, and races over, ripping the helmet form his hands "Suika doesn't want anyone to see her face!!!" She glared " that was pretty rude without asking" yuna stated walking over glaring slightly

"I don't understand why not" senku says smirking, The two girls look at the little girl

Both gasped in awe at how cute she was

"My gosh Suika!" Yuna gushed " you are just the most adorable little thing!!!!" Kohaku cooed

The little girls face scrunched up to a not so cute face, and looked like an old lady "What in the hell?!?!" The two and chrome exclaimed

" Theres something wrong with my eyes" Suika says " they've got the fuzzy sickness, everything looks fuzzy to me, so when I try really hard to see I end up looking like this and it's super embarrassing..." she exclaimed and hole pulling the face, then placed on her helmet " but when I put on my watermelon mask, it's a little bit easier to see for some reason" she skips a little " yeah, that's known as the pinhole affect " senku says

" huh?"

"If you look at an object through a small hole, the light passing through it narrows and brings it into focus" senku explains " so glass and the fuzzy sickness, are they connected somehow "chrome masked, rubbing the back of his head "dude, they're like 10,000,000,000% connected! " senku exhaled while the boy flinched, Senku placed both hands on suika's shoulders " here's the deal, suika, Your nearsighted as hell. It's not some kind of sickness. There is nothing wrong with you." He said "In a technological civilisation, this is it a big deal at all. We have scientific eyes, made outta glass. They're called glasses, and they help you see clearly."

After his explanation, she glances towards the shed and the furnace "science users can actually make new eyes? "She murmurs, then clenches her hand "that's amazing."

"It's is" senku agreed, Suika Stands still as the wind blows past her " if it's really possible, I'd love to see all the beauty in the world...." even under her mask, she was crying "I wanna see you guys without the fuzziness...I want to see the real you...just one time would be all I needed...."

"Alright! I'm ready to do this!" Chrome exclaimed determined " let's make some of this glass!"

" oh yeah!" Kohaku nods " what materials do we need to gather?" She asked

The group starts walking " glass is mostly made out of silica, or quarts sand" senku explains as they walked " however I don't see any of that in the chrome collection" he says " why would I be collecting sand?" Chrome asked " although, san did see a clue that should lead us to some" chrome looked at him confused, the group then found themselves at the bottom of a cliff

" this is the spot" chrome says while holding a see through rock " when I was a kid, I found this cool see through rock right here!"

" well that little chunk is worth more than you can imagine right now" senku says while the others watch as he pulled out his hammer, kneed down and started hitting the ground " that Translucent rock you've got in your hand, Is a quarts crystal, And it tends to be found in areas of decayed granite" senku explains, then stops hammering and looks at the Grey powder before grabbing a hand full " and, in my hand, I'm holding lots of the raw material for glass" he grinned " quarts sand" The others gaped in awe, then started to follow his example and collect the quarts sand " woah! Bad! Those tiny Grains are falling out like crazy" chrome say

" I didn't know it would be so fun!" Suika chimed

"We're gonna get a bunch of this stuff here!" Kohaku smiles

" just try and gather as many of the see through ones as you can" senku says

After collecting enough, the group went back to the shed, and considered the sun was beginning to set, currently kohaku and yuna were crushing the the quarts and with big rolls "We crush all the quarts sand down into even finer Grains" senku and chrome were at the furnace "then we mix it with a bunch of other stuff and melt it" senku places the rod in and starts mixing it around " do we need to get anything?" Chrome asked

" actually, we've already gathered everything we're gonna need" senku says " our hard work keeps paying off" A flash back of the sea shells Taiju collected came to his mind " 10 percent calcium carbonate, from the sea shells, and add 20 percent cooked seaweed, all of the same material back when we made soap"

Next day

Suika fans senku with a leaf fan as he lies on the ground completely exhausted" now that's done" he sighs

When he was in chrome shed

"I can't believe you've got galena! Lead has been acquired!"

He pours the hot liquid into a mold for the lens " we throw in a little molten lead" he then holds up a lens made of glass " and
Low and behold, we have super transparent crystal glass, perfect for a lens" Chrome gasped while the others looked in awe " it's all sparkly and see through kinda like a piece of ice!" Suika exclaimed " or some kind of gen!" Kohaku smiled " so what's that weird tool thing do?" Suika asked

"It'll polish the glass, cause doing it by hand would kill us" senku says, Chrome starts climbing into the shed "ohhh, I bet we can use that super bad corundum stuff I've got for polishing it up what do you think?" He asked senku"Glass has a most hardness rating of a 6, corundum is 9, so it's perfect" he smirks " aw yeah! It's gonna work like a charm!" Chrome says giving a thumbs up

" here comes all the stone talk, I've got nothing to add to this conversation..." the blond says with a bored smile while yuna smiled sheepishly

Yuna and kohaku spent their time training Kinro and ginro for the grand bout, as for the science team, they worked on the lens for suika's so called glasses, polishing the glass lens, also testing her eyes to test her sight with the lens, then after they we're done, They added two lens onto the watermelon mask eye holes, the only thing left to do was test them

Suika held into senku while he guided her without her helmet on, they then stop " suika, I want you to look straight ahead of you, and tell me what you see" he says, They stood in front of a patch of sunflowers, her vision was still blurry, so she squinted her eyes " I see sunflowers of course, it's not like i can't see anything at all you know, I just have to try-"She grunts when senku puts on her water melon mask, but when she opened her eyes, she gasped, she could see the sunflower more clearly, and also see the tiny little water droplets in the centre

She walks forward slightly gazing at everything around her, her little dog lets out a howl while the two teens smile in the background

Inside her mask tears started to well up in her eyes

Back with the others

Yuna towards Kinro battle roaring, he narrowed his eyes, he pictures her as Magma with the intent to actually kill him, and jumped back at her fast speed attack, he dodged it, but as he went for an attack, she kicked him and sent him flying " come on!" Kohaku groaned from the sidelines " again with that shallow Strike!"she scowled "Kinro you've got to break that habit!" She reprimanded as yuna got up "if you want to fight with a spear, You have to be able to judge distance, or you'll never be able to beat magma"

He struggled to sit up, but pants as he finally sits himself up, Meanwhile ginro was sweat dropping 'judging distance...right?' With a pained smile

Time skip

The two brothers we're watching the sunset by the cliff side, Kinro remained standing while ginro sat on a rocky platform

"I heard what she said but I don't know how your gonna do that, I mean let's be honest here, you obviously have the fuzzy sickness" ginro said " that's the main reason why have such a menacing look on your face" hey says teasingly " I was born like this" Kinro stated

" don't you understand kinro?" Ginro asked raising an arm " it would be better If you went up to her and said, 'I'm not weak, it's just my eyes'" he said will try and imitate his brothers voice " I know how to fight already, and if you wanna know the truth, I'm incredible strong okay?"

"Such excuse are unbecoming of a grown man" Kinro says with a stern look while his brother looked defeated in the background " don't tell anyone about this ginro" he warned

Back with science team

The three sat by the river next to the sunflower patch taking a rest " it kinda surprising But both you guys look really cool" Suika comments

"And why is that surprising?" Chrome asked with a funny smile

Suddenly senku laughs catching their attention and confusing them " it's finally time to make some glass equipment" he had a weird smile on his face " and now that suika's levelled up on her labour potential statistics that means we can put together a full chemistry set!"he says excited

" calling it labour potential is rude!" Chrome scolded " way to ruin the moment man!"

Suika joins in on the laugher with him

" what's so funny?! What you laughing about?"

Next day

Senku's chuckled as he stood next a pot over a fire holding a long stick while chrome poured in the black rocks " get excited to start our primitive glass making class" he declared " yeah!" Chrome joined in " I'm ready to do this senku!" Two more pots were stationed by his feet " We keep throwing in these black rocks right?"

" I'm gonna keep these coming for you guys!" Suika cheered as she speeds over with another pot, surprising chrome by her sudden appearance " wow Suika your like a little speed demon" he complimented " how cool"

"Now that everything's not fuzzy it makes things way easier!" She smiled as senku mixed things together, she then Noticed the foam forming on the quartz rocks within the heat " whoa there are little white bubbles coming outta that stuff" she said in awe

Senku smirks while holding a piece up in his hand " that's what we want, when you heat obsidian like this it creates a foam" he chucked the piece in his hand into the pit with the rest " then we'll use that foam, As insulation, and make A specialist glass making furnace" he explains
chrome smooshes the stuff around the smoosh stone furnace they made, senku had a large cloth wrapped around him, wearing gloves to protect him from the hot molten glass

They used a bamboo they had cut to make a rod, and poured in the iron mold

"Next, we'll craft an iron straw, blow up the glass with air and that's it" chrome blew into the rod, which made the molten glass expand, but...After many attempts....well......It looked like a big mess

The disappointed looks on their faces was enough to make any one cringe, Senku chuckled " hey that's fine, it was a first try, When I started making clay pots it took months before they looked decent" he stated " it's not fine!" Chrome exclaimed " we don't Have months!"

" ruri's health doesn't seem to be getting better" kohaku says frowning

" I'm not some kind of glass craftsman" senku said, arms crossed " so I have to learn through trial and error"

Chrome seemed to perk up at the mention of craftsman " a craftsman?" He murmured

Time skip

Senku and yuna were waiting at the bridge for Chrome who said he'd be back, which someone, just then Their heard someone walking on the bridge and turned to see chrome walking back with some old man....through they were confused to why he was tied up " I don't care for this one boy chrome..." he grumbled

'Who the hells is that old fart?' Senku wondered

Chrome smacked his hands together in plea " oh come on old man kazuki! We're in desperate need of your crafting skills!" The boy begged
" is this how you younglings ask for favours these days?" The old man asked " cause I'm not into this kinky rope play stuff, and I'm definitely not interested in being a part of what black arts your doing here" he spat at chrome

"See, and this is why I had to do things the hard way" chrome sighed, scratching the back of his head

Suika came forward " old man Kazuki?" Everyone looked at her, who was holding the same lacquer bottle she brought for the generator plan " I forgot to bring your lacquer back to you, I'm sorry" she apologised

" ah, that completely slipped my mind"

Senku narrowed his eyes at him slightly " tell me" he said gaining the old mans attention "are you the one who made that?"he asked gesturing to kohaku's shield " her lacquer shield is amazing, you crafted it without iron tool and hardly and hardly and dye to speak of?"

"Yep that shield was a prize from the year kohaku's father Became the champion of the grand bout, I tell you I really did go all when I made That old beauty" the old man sighed softly at the memory, Kohaku was smiling fondly at the memory of when she first got the shield from her father

The started walked towards the glass furnace " the handy work in that shield is remarkable for this era, so I had a feeling there must be an expert craftsman behind it" he says as he pulled the rope along with the old man " but I never expected you'd be a dusty old fossil, Did you make that awesome suspension bridge as well?" He asked

"Yeah, I sure did" kazeki replied " and you had the nerve to pull the planks out! You can count me out of whatever bogus sorcerers-" As soon as his eyes trailed towards the glass on the ground he gasped " wait! What is this see through stone work you've got!?...wow" Behind him a dark aura emerged from chrome and senku with devilish smirks, while Suika trembled in the arms of yuna who looked them deadpanning Senku's hold up the metal rod " we won't force you to help if you don't want to" he then holds the rod out " so just sit back and enjoy the show!" He smirked " you should get a kick out of this old man kaseki, in fact, I bet you'll be ten billion percent entertained" He placed the rod inside the glass furnace, collected some molt " so get ready to be excited!"

Kaseki watched as ' it would seem that heat makes the material pliable and soft, It's Like blubber" he mentally noted, Chrome blows through the metal rod which makes the most expanded 'The shape changes so easily!' He gaped

" crap, blew it up to much again" chrome cursed, the starts spinning the rod around in the air while the molt shook

Old man kaseki hopped up and down "What are you doing you fool stop!" He barked, While senku gaining mischievously in the back

It was now his turn, he did the same thing as chrome, putting in the rod, collecting some molt, but he started spinning it slowly, purposely making it droop while shaking about ' He's not spinning it steadily at all! at this rate he's never gonna make a good vessel or anything worth the effort' old man kaseki glared, both his eyes twitching ' are they doing this badly on purpose just to piss me off? Because that's definitely happening!'

Senku chuckled once he noticed the old mans gaze and expression " there's no way a guy who's spent his whole life as a crafts man is gonna stand there and watch a newbie do something as drool tastic as glass blowing, how much more of those can you take old man kazeki?" He questioned " this has gotta be getting under your skin"

The old man growled before shouting " I can't take it anymore!!!!!" He struggled to break free but Then burst out of the ropes, his top of his robe burst too...thankfully his bottom part of the robe remained, and his bro was ripped as hell! Even for an old man " boy! You got me real good damn it!" The three teens jaws dropped at what they saw

Old man kaseki takes the iron rod out of chrome's hand " let me take a crack at it!"

"He's jacked...who would have guessed..." senku mutters while chrome yelled out in shock

He dipped the rod into the molten glass, then Starts spinning the rod around much faster than senku and chrome did, then as soon as it was enough he lifted the rod up and blew into it, making the molten glass expand until it was even, then he pulled out some steel tweezers, and uses them to flatten the bottom end of the bottle, he then Placed it back inside the furnace and spun it around at the same speed he had before, to keep it hot, after some time he takes it back out, and another was placed on the flat side, chrome holding the one round while he held the other

" Suika, water!" He ordered "On it sir" she pours water on the rod chrome held, which he then broke it off, he spins it in the furnace again before he pulls out the tweezers again and used them to stretch out the end of the glass bottle

"Ah man! Thats nuts! You've never seen it before and your a glass making master!" Chrome exclaimed in awe

" amazing!" Yuna nods in agreement

Senku's chucked " it's because he's got all those years of crafting experience"

Old man kaseki chucked while lifting the bottle up which was still stuck to the rod " I've been a craftsman for over fifty years believe it or not!" He boasted with a grin " in fact son I'm kind of a big deal"

" there are people like him in every single era, dudes with brutality who spent their lives with their heads down and completely dedicated to their work...." senku's smiled

They used the night time to let the glass cool off

Next day

The group now stood out side a small house that was similar to the one senku had built at his old home, only this one was made with some stone and wooden, with a light bulb on the ceiling, with the generator connected, But what was more Important, was the room was not only filled with clay pots

But glass containers, bottles for chemistry, plus a table with glass slabs on top

Senku was definitely excited

" awesome!" Chrome fist bumped the air

" yay!" Suika double high-fived with kaseki

" oh wow!" Kohaku joins in the celebration while yuna claps in the background as the Wolfe howl " great job!" She stopped when she noticed the look on Senku's face, the found memory when his dad gave him the stuff he needed for his science came to mind ad smiled softly " come on senku! What's the matter with you man?" Chrome asked " we finally have a killer lab! I thought you'd get excited" he remarked

"Yeah sure" the scientist said placing his hands on his hip " it be..." he took a moment before turning to chrome " T this point we've reached the dawn of chemistry, things are starting to get fancy in our neck of the woods, just look at all the attractions, it's gotta be ten billion times more fun than tsukasa land" he said gazing at all the things they'd made and accomplished

"Cause the kingdom of science rules" he smirked

Chrome holds a rock on his hand " haha! I've got tones of awesome stuff!"

The shed on the poster then gains colour, and the camera zoomed in on the ramen stall, which gan'an the village glutton was eating at

" our scientific gourmet dish! Foxtail millet ramen!"

" now this is something I can eat all day!" He says with a blissful expression " it's so yunmy!"

The camera then zoomed in on the iron furnace, where people from the village were pumping the furnace after eating ramen " we rely on numbers to make our iron supply, take it to fifteen hundred degrees!"

The little girl collaped exhausted " this so crazy tough work!....I'll be up in a second!...probably..." she wheezed

The camera then zoomed in on the area ginro and Kinro fighting

Kinro was fighting against yuna, who was training him while kohaku observed from the side, along with the wolfs and squirrel, both in the arena threw attacks at each other while blocking the others advances " to beat magma we built this hellish training arena!....actually it's just part of the clearing, we also have our own security wolfs too...and squirrel mascot!"

Ginro was sleeping on the side until he woke up in a panic " whoa whoa whoa! Friendship! Hard work! Victory!" He yelled

" your just sleeping!" The two girls exclaimed while the wolfs bark angry

" get with the program!" Kinro roared while go to laughs nervously " wake up! Let's go!"

The two girls watched as Kinro chased his screaming brother towards the generator, they then started yelling as they spun the wheels in Sync

" we've got the ultimate green energy, elbow grease generator!"

The camera zoomed in on the glass furnace they created

Where old man kaseki burst out of his robe and created more glass chemistry equipment " blowing glass with the skill of an absolutely master! Shaping it just like clay!" Suika Carry's the one he just finished and placed it in a similar construction like the glass furnace, only it wasn't a furnace, but a place to cool the glass

" the scorching hot glass is cooled, nice and slow cause we don't want it to crack" it takes until night to cool

The camera showed senku working on the lab " our state of the art laboratory, We're speeding through the sulfer drug route! With all the bad chemicals we can get our hands on!" The two then gained colour just like the rest, the kingdom of science was finally complete!

Chrome walks up to senku smiling " man this is really amazing isn't it?" He asked while raising his hand to scratch his head " the kingdom of science is starting to turn into something"Senku turned to him and chucked " we've only made the bare essentials so far, we wouldn't get anywhere if we were missing A single one of These components" he said gesturing to everything they'd created

"So before the whole world collapsed, was the technology ridiculous or what?"chrome asked out of curiosity

" yeah" senku nods " it took two million years for us to get there, and we're gonna catch up and run right past it" he smirked

He noticed chromed determined smile with the fist pump and chuckled "our next step is the sulfer drug, and make ourselves a cure all"

Meanwhile

Ginro falls down on the ground exhausted from spinning the generator while Kinro remained standing while holding his knees panting

He turned his head when he heard the repeated yay's coming from Suika and old man kaseki, who were holding up two chemistry bottles they'd created" aww man, their Teams so lucky, it looks like Fun, their playing...they've got shiny stuff" he pouts then Gasped with an idea in his head And turned to his brother, Who was drinking water in a bamboo cup " hey Kinro! Hows this idea, what if the spear tip was super shiny?" He asked while pointing at the end of his spear" don't you think that you'd get a better sense of distances with your fuzzy vision?" he says while doing stabbing motions

Kinro turned to him with his eyes narrowed " what are you blabbering about? Your starting to annoy me"

Ginro shakes his head and starts smiling nervously, while sweating like a pig " haha...Well eh if we're talking about things that are shiny, we need gold and silver spears! That would be so freakin awesome right?! I mean strictly to use in the grand bout of course, those would definitely give us just the edge we need to win, won't they?"

He stared at his brother intensely for a second before The two clapped hands together in a brotherly alliance, and went to senku and yuna in the laboratory

" eh?"

Ginro was sparkling while Kinro had his head turned to the side

Senku then turned to kohaku who stood next to yuna " I don't know anything About fighting, is it true that a  gold and silver spear will help them beat magma or is that just crap?" He asked while whispering to her "Okay I'll put it in a way you'll understand They ten billion percent just want gold and silver spears cause they think that'll make them cool" she clarified

"Oh Wow" ginro says entering and seeing the glass chemistry set on the shelf's "would you look at all this glass was it?" He asked confirming "And this beautiful working area" he says while glancing around "With this kind of stuff a silver spear must be a snap to make, And then takin down magma would be easy peasy!"

Senku's chuckled drawing everyone's attention "Yeah good point, and now that we have our glassware, we're gonna have to suck it up and Go get the next ingredient, Which is also the difficult material to obtain" he then Turns and walks to the other side of the table "All right, Let's break in this lab with a silver spear, But only a silver one" he says

Kinro had a look of disbelief on his face while his brother laughs triumphant "OH I'm sorry about that Kinro, It's my way, I'm always everyone's favourite" ginro says smug like

"You are in no way my favourite you clown" senku denies "This mission is quite risky, It may well cost you your life, ginro"

"Huh?" He looks at him confused

"We're going to set of on a grand adventure, One where we'll discover chemistry's greatest treasure" the same evil smile pasted on his face "So you'll be exploring an area that's ridiculously dangerous, Where you could literally die in an instant"

"Uh?..." ginro says in shock, while sweating like a pig, one could swear they saw the color drain from his face
