Oh Please No

You giggled as you held on tight to your husband's neck as he carried you bridal style across the threshold of your first home together. Spencer just stood at the front of the house, holding you close as the two of you took in the site of all the boxes and things that needed to be put away. You sighed as you laid your head on his shoulder, kissing his jaw lightly.

"We're home." You whispered.

"I almost can't believe it myself," Spencer grunted as he gently stood you next to him, keeping an arm around you. He lightly kissed the top of your head before leaving you to start putting things away.

You smiled as you too started to pick up things and place them in their respected rooms. "It was really nice of the crew to move everything into the house while we were gone. You would think they will be willing to put things away."

You heard Spencer's small laugh from in the room next to you. He walked over and leaned against the doorframe, crossing his arms over his chest. "I don't think Garcia will appreciate the manual labor. Hotch would stand there and make sure everyone was doing their part. Morgan wouldn't mind but only if we paid him by means of a meal afterward. Blake would probably never leave until it gets done, her way. And Rossi would just stand in a corner drinking something calling himself our motivational cheerleader."

You shrugged as you reached for another box on the ground. "As if there are any other kinds of cheerleaders. I don't know. That all sounds good to me." You smiled at him as he walked over to help you put whatever it was in the box away.

"No way. I thought I lost this box years ago." Spencer smiled in awe as he saw what was in the box.

You laugh as you pull out a whoopie cushion and a polaroid camera. You toss the yellow balloon to Spener and he caught it, laughing as you then took a picture of him. He looks at the toy and flattens it between his hands, causing the both of you to laugh again.

"I found this box in the back of one of your rooms and just thought to keep it just in case." You looked at the picture and smiled, but then looked up at your husband with a much of a serious face you could muster. "But please don't prank me over and over. You know how much I don't like getting scared."

Spencer nodded, placing the deflated whoopie cushion back in the box. He leans down and kisses your nose. "I wouldn't dream of it."

You smiled, relieved. "I have a feeling this marriage will work out wonderfully."

"If not, it will either be from divorce or murder."

"And you can bet it will be me murdering you if you use even one thing from this box on me." You poked his chest and then nodded to the box.

Spencer smiled and nodded, leaning down to peck your lips. "Yes, ma'am."

You smiled back and leaned back in to kiss him fully, but his phone went off. "And we're back to reality."

Spencer frowns a bit as he pulled it out and looked at it. "It's from Garcia."

You lean back, folding your arms. "Urgent?"

"Like most of them. Missing child and double homicide."

You let out a breath, looking out the window on the other side of the room. "Man, I hate it when there are kids involved."

"I'll let you know when I'll be back." He gives you a short kiss on the forehead.

"Be safe."

"I will."

You lean up and kiss him on the lips before you shoo him out of the house. You watch as he takes your car, wincing as he hits the curb. As soon as he was out of sight, you turned back to the house and distracted yourself from worrying about him with drowning yourself in setting up your own home.

You cleared your throat as you heard the front door open then shut, followed by Spencer's voice.

"You know, I almost went back to my apartment." You see him round the corner and spot you on the couch in your perfectly put together living room. He sends you a small smile, setting down his bag then sitting next to you. "Looks like you were able to get the unpacking all done."

You smiled at him sweetly as you raised your cup of hot cocoa to your mouth, looking at him over the edge of the mug. "Oh don't worry, I left a few of your boxes in the library for you to put away." You take a sip then lower the cup. "Three day's wasn't too terribly long."

Spencer nodded, giving you an aproving look. "I am going to check out the rest of the house, I didn't get a chance before I was called away." He got up and kissed your forehead.

"Be careful in the guest bathroom, the sink broke when I was putting away things. Don't ask me how." You laughed nervously.

Spencer nodded and left, leaving you to hold back giggles at what was found on his back. Spencer walked around the house, minding where he walked, not at all surprised at what you did from room to room. Once in the guest bathroom, he was all too curious to see what you had done to the sink. At first glance it didn't look like anything was wrong, but bending down and checking under the sink proved his point.

He makes his way into the library, noticing more than a 'few' boxes left for him to unpack. More like ALL the book boxes. Spencer was about to take a step into the library but noticed a small trip wire. Stepping over it gingerly, he spotted the small confetti bomb the string was attached to. Smiling to himself, Spencer made sure to keep the surprise untouched.

Rounding about to the kitchen, Spencer was pleasingly greeted with the smell of freshly baked cookies and a warm cup of coffee. With a trained eye, Spencer checked around the room for little unsuspecting gifts that you had left for him. But after a few moments of finding nothing, he let out a small chuckle and reached for a cookie but you called out from the living room.

"Be sure to wash your hands!"

Spencer smiled and nodded to himself, remembering how you hated unclean hands touching food, so much so he was sure you had a superpower in detecting it. He walked over to the sink and turned on the water, only to be sprayed in the chest by the small spray nozzle next to the faucet.

Laughing, you pranced into the kitchen, your face lit up with a smile. "HA! I was beginning to worry that none of my tricks got you." You giggled as you walked up to him, grabbing the sticky note still on his back. "Well, except for this one."

Spencer smiled at you as he started to remove his top shirt, laying it out on the counter. "That and the one under the sink. Curiosity got the best of me."

You cocked your head to the side. "Where did all the silly string land?"

Spencer gave you a side glance as he took the rubber band off the spray nozzle. "Wouldn't you like to know."

You rolled your eyes but smiled, grabbing a cookie and putting it in his mouth as you leaned back on the counter to face him. "I'm glad you're back, though."

Spencer took the cookie, biting a piece off. "You miss me that much?"

You shake your head, looking needlessly at your nails. "Nope, I just really wanted you to get a taste of your own medicine."

Spencer flicks a bit of water at you, leaning against the counter next to you. "Oh don't you wish."

You rolled your eyes. Spencer smiled sweetly as he leaned down and kissed your forehead again. "But nice try."

You shrug and smooth his shirt a bit. "Eh, it was worth a shot. I am going to go ahead and clean up the kitchen a bit. You look tired, why don't you go ahead and get some sleep?"

With a nod, Spencer kissed your lips lightly, his hand stroking your cheek gently. "I'll wait up for you."

You nodded, not trusting your voice. Despite being married for a couple of months and just being back from your honeymoon, his kisses still took your breath away. "Alright. I won't be long."

At that you turned to tidy up the kitchen and Spencer headed to the master bedroom, looking back and you and smiling. Living together is not going to be a problem at all, thank goodness. Besides, he could get used to the view of you walking around the house in one of his sweaters.

You yawned as you entered the dark bedroom you shared with your husband, rubbing your eyes as you shuffled in. You can hear the steady breathing of your young doctor so you follow that to the bed. You were surprised he fell asleep so fast, even after he said he would stay up for you. But you didn't mind as soon as your body sank into the soft bed.

But you did mind once your head hit the pillow and the sound of a confident and loud fart filled the room. You jumped and let out a startled yelp but that was soon covered by the laughter of your husband next to you who turned out not to be sleeping at all.

"You twit!" You yell as you tackled him, the both of you completely tangled up in the sheets.

Spencer laughed again, holding you in his arms as you tried to beat him up. "The trick to a good joke is timing." He whispered as you calmed down a bit. He looked at you, moving a few hairs from your face. "Besides, I'm a known genius so..."

You rolled your eyes but leaned up on your arms on his chest. "Yeah, yeah, I get it. At least I tried."

"Thank goodness I love you."

"Thank goodness indeed." You giggled, then captured his lips with yours as he let out a content sigh. "Welcome home, Spence." You whispered into his lips.

He smiled and held you to his chest as you both got comfortable in bed, loving the knowledge that you will get to wake up next to each other for the rest of your lives.

There ya go! OH! I made this a while back. I got bored and wanted to do something. You can hate it or like it, I don't mind either way. Enjoy! Obviously, the song and Criminal Minds isn't mine but copyright and all that.
