*time skip*

I woke up to Jax poking my side. I shot up and looked him in the eyes. He glanced at Marry and I almost gasped in surprise. Marry's face was red and she was breathing heavily. Her forehead was really warm, too.

"Marry." I whispered, worried for her.

"She's ok. She just has a fever." Dr. Adelinde said, making me flinch.

I looked around to see Dr. Adelinde packing bags and I remembered what we planned to do.

I quickly got up, careful not to make a sound, and put Marry onto my back. She mumbled in her sleep and sighed.

Dr. Adelinde nodded and she opened the propped door. Jax grabbed my hand and we walked out of the prison.

We ran silently around the facility until Dr. Adelinde lead us to a door. She slid a card through a slot and the door open easily.

I ran out of there as quick as I could, with Jax following right behind me.

"There's a boat just beyond this fence and then there is a island just 500 miles off. Take the boat and go to that island as quick as you can. Go." Dr. Adelinde said, handing Marry a map.

I felt Marry weakly wave back at Dr. Adelinde.

We were almost to the fence when a spotlight was shined on us.

"C'mon, we can make it. Keep going." I shouted, picking up my pace.

Jax nodded and passed me up, only to be hit in the face by a butt of a gun. He slumped to the ground.

"Jax!" I shouted, running over to him, with Marry still on my back.

I grabbed Jax and looked at his bruised face and bloody nose.

"Well well well......what happened here, my children." A voice asked, all creepily and soft at the same time.

I recognized the voice and jumped back, only to miss a needle shot at me.

"Oh, so the little lamb has some reflexes?" The voice asked again, still sickly nice.

"Dr. Kim, leave us alone!!" I shouted, running to Jax and putting him over my shoulder.

'Huh, deja vu.' I thought, as I ran away as quickly as I could with both Marry and Jax.

Soon, I reached the gate and I was almost there.

"Just a bit more....." I said, only to be grabbed by my hair.

"Your not going anywhere, deary. You or your friends." Dr. Kim said, pulling me back.

A guard grabbed me and took Jax from my hand, and started to take Marry from my back.

"If you dare to try and take this child off of me, I will hurt you." I threatened, unconvincingly.

The guard laughed at me and started to pry the sleeping Marry off my back. I lunged at his fingers and grabbed his hand. He looked shocked as I used his hand to punch him in the face. The guard grabbed me by the hair and I got tears in my eyes. The guard chuckled and kicked me in the ribs, making me cry out in pain.
