Marry shivered and climbed up on Jax's back. I leaned on Jax for support of my ankle.

We started walking towards Dr. Kim's office when I saw the most terrifying thing.

A pig with human feet and human eyes.

I gasped in surprise and Jax turned to look at me, but by then, the pig had run off. Then there was this pain in my ankle that made me cringe.

"Sorry, phantom pain in my ankle." I said, and Jax nodded.

We kept moving and soon we reached her office.

"Well, don't be shy. Come on in, children." Dr. Kim said, leading us to a couch big enough for two.

I took Marry off of Jax and set her on my lap. She smiled at me. Jax silently sat down next to me.

"Ok, so this is what is going to happen. I'm sure Dr. Adelinde told you something beforehand?" She questioned.

I nodded my head and Jax and Marry looked surprised.

"Well then, deary, explain what is going to happen to you all." She said, giving me that weird smile.

"Guys, its only one experiment." I said, making Marry sigh in relief.

"But it only needs one. We are going to..." I started, only to be interrupted by Dr. Adelinde coming in the room.

"Oh, Dr. Adelinde, perfect timing. I was waiting for those tests to come out soon." Dr. Kim said.

"Pick your favorite animal and model the questions after it." I said, quickly.

Dr. Adelinde came over to me and touched my side.

"Now, there's no talking durring the exam. Otherwise..." Dr. Kim started, pointing at Dr. Adelinde.

She pushed a button and I felt a shock go through my side. I cried out in surprise. 

"Liz?!" Marry asked, wondering what was wrong.

Dr. Adelinde let go of the button and I sighed in relief, free from the shocks.

"..your friend will have a shock sent to their side." Dr. Kim said, with that evil voice.

"Are you ok, Liz?!?" Marry asked me.

I weakly nodded, making Jax look kinda angry.

"Did you guys feel anything?" I asked her.

"No." Marry replied.

Jax shook his head.

"Begin!" Dr. Kim shouted, and we all looked at our tests.

I filled out the bubbles as quietly as I could. I looked down to see Marry drawing a picture and Jax had the pencil on the desk, his bangs covering his eyes.

"Jax?" I ask, and Dr. Kim grabbed the remote and pressed it.

I shouted in pain, but I still smiled, reassuringly. Seeing this, Dr. Kim pushed the button harder.

"Jax...do you need help with your test?" I asked through the pain.

He nodded slowly, and I set Marry down, hoping not to shock her.

"Here, you tell me what to answer." I said, and he nodded.

I looked up to see Dr. Adelinde take the remote back and release the button. I sighed and shakily started to fill in Jax's bubbles.

Once we finished, Dr. Adelinde took the tests and ushered up out of the office.

"Lizabeth, I am so sorry about what happened. I told Dr. Kim not to." Dr. Adelinde said, as I rubbed my side.

"Its....fine....I'm gonna go lay down." I said, slowly.

Marry guided me to our room and I plopped down on the nearest bed. Marry crawled up next to me and soon, I fell asleep, my sides heaving slightly from the pain, as shock marks streached and relaxed.
